They are too pushy to for me to borrow thousands of dollars to get services done on my teeth immediately. I was told by the doctor I need X,X,X treatments. Thats fine but the cost can easily go up to 6-8k for all of them to be done. I told them Im worried about the cost and they insist for me to borrow money so I can get treatment done. I dont want to borrow 8k to fix something that isnt giving me issues at the moment. Anyway, it feels very sales driven office. Id rather try a different office who are realistic about how much money people really have for treatments.

Upon researching for a new dentist in the Delta Dental directory, I found most all the dentists had satisfactory reviews. However, Dr Chawla’s were loaded with superlatives. Not only that, she seemed to have handled many challenging cases. These, too, garnered rave reviews. I visited her office the same day! I was favorably impressed to find a beautiful, modern, clean office, joyful staff members, and a broad spectrum of dental capabilities handled in the office.Further research revealed that Dr Chawla earned her doctorate in dentistry from one of only three such dental schools in the Ivy League, the University of Pennsylvania. Further, it is currently (2020) ranked as the finest dental school in the U.S. (dental-colleges.com). Dr Chawla didn’t bely her credentials. As is her standard practice, Dr Chawla performed a one hour new patient examination. I had never had such a comprehensive and in depth dental exam ever. As is also her standard practice, a dentist performs all teeth cleaning, in my case by her colleague, Dr Ngo. This was my first teeth cleaning by a dentist, and an impressive one: gentle, thorough, with dental care suggestions shared as appropriate.My previous dentist recommended I have a new crown done to address a “food pocket” that had developed due to tooth movement. Dr Chawla thought this ill- advised as the procedure would necessarily cause tooth nerve damage from the process use of heat. Instead she suggested addressing it with floss as needed, something that has proven to be feasible and effective. Dr Chawla’s staff merit special recognition. They are the most professional, competent, and joyful medical office staff I have ever encountered! I attribute this to the manner in which Dr Chawla interacts with them, as she does as well with patients. She is poised, forthright, respectful, clear in her communications at an appropriate pace, kindly, and appreciative. Her website is also model, encompassing all relevant information in an easy access design, including extensive text and video instructional material in the “Patient Portal”.With the current Covid-19 precautions, I was hesitant to schedule my six month teeth cleaning. However, Dr Chawla kept me informed by emails as to how her office was addressing these challenges. When I just had my teeth cleaned there, I found their precautions to be ultra reassuring health safety-wise. I was screened upon arrival for history, temperature, blood oxygen saturation, and washed my hands with virus-combatting gel. Dr Chawla appeared to be attired in an astronaut in-flight suit, all for the safety of her patients.Remarkably, I found no improvements to suggest for improving Dr Chawla’s model dental practice. I highly recommend her and her dedicated team without qualification.

Was happy at first. But then just high additional costs and referrals every time. Something new popping up. Very costly.Felt it was very unfair

From the moment I called to make my first appointment I felt welcomed by the staff. I love how you fill out all paperwork on iPad quick and simple. Dr. Chawla explained everything very well and made sure everything was done to perfection. The facility is very clean and spacious, they even have massage chairs in one of the rooms.

Lotus Dental Group is amazing! Dr. Chawla and her team provide exceptional dental care, paired with healthy doses of professionalism and compassion. I went in anxious from a previous dental experience and they quickly put me at ease. I couldn’t possibly rate Lotus Dental Group any higher. Amazing group, amazing care. As a person with a phobia of dentist offices, I am now a regular and it’s actually enjoyable. I receive Invisalign through them as well and it couldn’t be more efficient. Definitely give them a look if you are in the market.

I went in for my cleaning and I was very impressed with the new Covid protocols Dr. Chawla has implemented. I felt safe with all the new protective gear everyone was wearing, screening questions, temperature checks prior to entering, as well as hand sanitizer they provided at the front. Also, they had these really cool air purifiers in the back to help capture aerosol. Well done Dr. Chawla and thank you for always taking care of me and my family. We appreciate you implementing these safety measures for the safety of your patients and for always having the highest standard of care! I will look forward to seeing you all at my next appointment.

I moved from Southern California and have never changed dentists until now. I was so worried about changing dentists since Ive had the same dentist for 20 years, but Lotus Dentistry is the perfect match! I feel right at home. The staff is so supportive and welcoming every time I walk in. Casandra at the front desk is extremely sweet, timely, understanding, and charismatic. Dr. Chawla is outstanding! When she first greeted me she was so knowledgeable and reassuring with everything she stated about my teeth and its health. So far, so good! The dentist is very nice, listens to your concerns, and genuinely seems to want the best for your teeth health. The receptionist and everyone else that Ive dealt with on the staff there is very friendly, nice, and accommodating. The office is also very clean, nicely decorated, and in a good location for me.

My family and I have been going to Lotus for about a year and a half. We absolutely love the staff there and have had nothing but positive experiences so far. I decide to do this review because earlier today (Saturday) they were kind enough to see my mother-in-law after she had one of her teeth crack. Despite not having an appointment they made room for her the same day and fixed her tooth on the spot. Excellent service, best doctor!

I love this office! I had previously gone to another office because I broke a crown and also my Dental insurance. I was told I had about 8 fillings that needed to be done. Being in the Dental field for many years I was shocked I had so much work that needed to be done. I totally procrastinated and decided to get a second opinion here. Dr. came in and did a thorough exam and said there were a couple of fillings and a couple of teeth she would keep a watch on, but She didn’t see any urgent issues. What?! Ok, sounds good, when can I schedule? She is very thorough and honest doctor who doesn’t over diagnose. Casandra broke down my insurance coverage and worked out a time for me to come in to get my work done before the end of the year! I actually LOVE that they text, call, email me to remind me of my appointments. With my schedule, I need every reminder possible! LolDr. works with my insurance copay and only recommends treatment if needed, so guess what? I’ll be coming back every 6 months to make sure I stay on track!I recommend this office for honest Dental Care.

Cant recommend this office more! Dr. Chawla is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative in her practice. Its clear she cares about her patients. In my very first visit with Dr Chawla, she recognized that I had been grinding my teeth in my sleep, along with many other things that none of the dentists I had been to before had even bothered to bring up. She was able to quickly and personally recommend me the best options. I used to hate dentist visits more than anything in the world, but it is a very comfortable environment here. Everyone is friendly, and you even get Netflix during your visit! :) I cant imagine if I would have waited longer to see her!The staff are willing to do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Chawla has a lot of experience and was able to address my dental situation holistically and from a highly conservative standpoint. This brought a lot of ease and confidence for me as someone who has had traumatic dental experiences and high anxiety about dentists. I received another dentist opinion a few days before meeting dr chawla and the other office wanted to do a long list of invasive and risky dental procedures. When I met dr chawla next, she said none of that work would be safe or necessary and she just diagnosed two small fillings and a cleaning needed which was music to my ears. I just had the fillings and cleaning completed by her and I’m looking forward to being able to open myself up again and feel safe with a dentist for my Oral care. She also explained why my teeth need to be aligned even though they “look” straight so that I can preserve my teeth and keep my gums healthy and clean. I just started the process for Invisalign in her office and I am now even more at ease knowing that we have a plan and are implementing it for the future of my teeth. Wow Dr.Chawla no words I went to her clinic with the a serious gum problem and she helped me to recovery from it easily which means a lot to me she took my case hands on and gave me follow calls for appointments so I really felt very happy about the personal care and adored her being so welcoming..kind to patients... about the staff they are doing a fantastic job... No one like going to the dentist. Right...Dr. Chawla is an excellent dentist. She is extremely precise and very gentle. Her numbing technique is the least painful I have experienced. Her chair side manner is very human. She is calm, compassionate, informative, and witty. Her support staff is just the same and quite gracious. Her service feels like the family dentist experience I had as a kid.I had a dental emergency this past weekend and was in extreme pain. Dr. Chawla not only answered my call straight away, she met me at her office at 8am on Sunday to fix my problem. Her abilities are top notch, however, the true value is her service. She and her staff make the experience feel personal and caring.I actually look forward to going to her office. I’m there for a couple hours each time. I just take the day off, throw in cozy sweats, and prepare to bindge watch Netflix.She also offers an insurance plan which makes the process affordable.I can’t say enough. This team rocks!

Ive been to many dentists, and worked for several as well. Dr. Chawla is by far the best one Ive had. She is very gentle, kind, down-to-earth, explains everything and does a great job. You cant even feel it when she gives you a shot. She uses a topical first to kinda numb the area, then the shot. I havent felt any of them. A couple of years prior to coming here, I went to a dentist in Modesto. She told me I needed three crowns. I didnt think so, and I couldnt afford it, so I didnt get them. When I came to Dr. Chawla, she said I MIGHT need one crown, but that she was going to just do a filling first because she likes to be conservative, and I may be able to get away without a crown. I was very impressed with that and I know I can totally trust her. She is kind to her staff, as well, which is not always the case with dentists. The office is extremely comfortable, clean, and decorated beautifully, and you are given the royal treatment each time. They have Lotus Insurance that is so affordable and covers a great deal. Ive already saved hundreds. Each and every one of the staff members are so nice and they are all highly trained and do a fantastic job. I highly recommend them.

By far the best dental office around! Dr. Chawla and her staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Ive never been to an office where they let you watch a movie while your having your teeth worked on. I emailed over, and was quickly greeted with an energetic response by Cassandra, the receptionist, who was extremely helpful in finding a time to be seen that would fit my busy schedule and with checking my insurance.After my first visit, which was entirely covered by Delta Dental, I found I needed more cavities filled then I care to admit. Cassandra helped to organize all my needed appointments in the following week, which I really appreciated.Throughout all my appointments, Dr. Chawla made me feel that I was in the best hands possible. She walked me through all the procedures we would be doing, and always made it clear that my comfort was of the utmost importance. They also have netflix for you to watch during all of your dental procedures.all in all- I left feeling like I was completely taken care of and was valued as a customer. This place is amazing!! Everyone here is always so polite, nice and friendly! Every time i have gone in I have had an amazing experince. Dr. Chawla knows how nervous I am when I go see her and she makes my visit so relaxing!! Bonus is they have tv screens and netflix so i can watch my favorite show while they do what they need to which is a big help for me because it helps me relax. I am very pleased with the service received in the last 3 months at Lotus Dental. The office is always very clean and organized, the staff is very attentive and professional, they really make you feel comfortable and you can watch your favorite show or movie on Netflix while your dental work is done. Dr Chawla is very professional and always explain every detail of the procedure and answers all your questions, also she is very sweet. I used to hate the drilling part when I needed a tooth filling, not anymore, with the distraction of the TV I didnt even notice it anymore. My 9yr old son was also happy with his visit, he got to watch Spongebob while he was getting his teeth cleaned. Dr. Chawla and her staff are GREAT! I have been struggling with sensitivity in my back bottom teeth for a few years now. I also have bruxism. Dr. Chawla took the time to listen to me and really figure out what the problem was. She fitted me with a night guard that fixed my jaw pain within a couple days and the sensitivity was nearly diminished within a couple of weeks. Her assistant Paige was really sweet too. I have found my new dentist.

Dr. Chawla is an amazing and dedicated dentist. Her professional standards are up to par with the latest technologies in the field of dentistry. She was very thorough in explaining my treatment needs and how this best fit with my insurance coverage. All my questions were answered by their friendly staff and they also managed to accommodate to my busy work schedule.Sitting on the chair has always been a terrifying experience for me however, Dr. Chawla helps ease this experience. She provides noise cancelling headphones so you can watch netflix while she works on you. When she applied the anesthesia I did not feel a thing. AMAZED!!! Im a big baby, ha. When our dentist retired, my husband and I went looking for a new dentist. After visiting several offices we came to Lotus Dental and knew almost immediately that our search was over.The staff at Lotus Dental, Dr. Chawla, Kristin, and Casandra are wonderful. When we entered the office of Lotus Dental, we were met by the calm relaxing sound of a waterfall, and the warm greeting from Casandra working in the front office.We were shown around the entire building before sitting down. The initial exam was extremely thorough. Dr. Chawla and the dental assistant, Kristin, work as a well oiled machine. Dr. Chawla took the time to explain, using z-rays and photos, to be sure everything was understood.Once a plan of treatment was decided upon, the staff worked to schedule appointments at the times that were best for us. Dr. Chawla has a deft touch. Did not feel a thing, from the beginning to the end, when fillings were replaced. We even got to watch Netflix during the procedure.If you need a dentist that will relieve any anxiety and give you outstanding dental service, Lotus Dental is the place to go.
