BOB is literally the BEST!!!!! He’s never left the job without it being 100% finished. He even spots little things around the apartment that he can approve. For example I put in a request for my AC, he called me 2 minutes after I submitted the request & was here right away. Fixed the issue and then noticed 3 of my blinds missing. He left came back & brought me new blinds as well. He’s so kind and easy to talk to. I feel comfortable having him come in my home.

This place is an absolute God send! I cant tell you how much of a blessing this place is. We moved from a bad apartment complex that left us with some traumatic experiences and this place is wonderful. Its family friendly,non-smoking, quiet, feels safe, and the apartment is beautiful! Thank you so much to Humberto, Bob, and the maintenance team for all of your help! The leasing office associates are always friendly and helpful. So glad we found this place!

Wow, amazing community & staff! I’ve been enjoying this beautiful & peaceful place for almost four years now & have not encountered a place like this before. Bob is efficient, reliable & fast! Bob, the maintenance supervisor is amazing. He always calls and handles my service needs right away, within hours of my request. He is incredibly kind, friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking and thoughtful. I feel very comfortable with my safety in regard to having him come into my home. While during Covid, he is careful to be wearing a mask and mindful of the space around him. I am very satisfied with his repair work and think he is an excellent handy man and person.

We moved to Avalon from another apartment complex (not associated with Avalon) and we have been so impressed with the professionalism and timeliness of the maintenance team led by Bob. During the craziness of 2020, our air conditioner broke in the middle of a heat wave and maintenance brought us a portable unit within a couple of hours. Most recently, we had some issues with our kitchen sink getting clogged and needed our microwave looked at. After putting in a work order, Bob had a new microwave unit installed the next day and we are good to go! Truly we are so appreciative of all the staff at Avalon, in an unprecedented year they have continued to be as accommodating as humanly possible. Thank you Bob and all Avalon Mission Oaks staff!

Although I have only been here for a few months, the attention from Vanessa from the start has been amazing even though this pandemic.The community is really nice and welcoming.I have had to contact the maintenance team a few times and Bob and his team within few hours have everything fixed and working. Theyre stellar!Definitely a 5star apartment community you should definitely consider.

My family has been living in Avalon Mission Oaks for almost 2 years and our experience has been very positive. The apartment complex is very well-maintained. The managers and maintenance staff (Bob and Edgar) are also very friendly and attentive. The location is safe and convenient (walking distance to Vons, CVS, and restaurants). Before we decided on Avalon Mission Oaks, we looked at other apartment complexes in the nearby area but Avalon Mission Oaks offers the best amenities and price for the 2-bedroom unit we were looking for. We highly recommend Avalon Mission Oaks!

I live here with a room mate 2,800 seems unreadable and the rent increased 160$ Raise closet doors don’t work floor is uneven and coming up and I know they are gonna charge me for this cheap quality carpet even tho my dog is a service dog and they said no carpet charge total scam

I had an issue with a broken toilet seat today and it was replaced within a half an hour of me putting in a service request. Bob, the maintenance supervisor, called me right away and came over and took care of it. He was wearing a mask and gloves for Covid safety and was extremely kind and answered a few other questions I had as well. I was very impressed with the service and with Bob! Thank you!

I have enjoyed my entire time of living at Avalon Mission Oaks. I wanted to thank the Avalon Mission Oaks staff, especially Vanessa the leasing consultant who was always available to respond to questions and a dynamite maintenance and grounds staff that was responsive and service oriented. We’ve been living at Avalon Mission Oaks for 2 years now and we are grateful to have such AMAZING staff here making it a wonderful living experience for us. Bob goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable in our home. He responds to our maintenance requests in a timely manner. Humberto and Edgar do such a great job as well making sure everything we are having issues with is fixed. The staff greet you with a smile when they see you around. Vanessa provides great customer service and gives answers to my questions. I highly recommend if you are looking for a community to move into, this is the one.

We recently moved to the community from Texas and cannot say enough great things about the office staff. We have lived in many apartment complexes (about 8 in 9 years!) prior to this one and have never had such a wonderful experience. The customer service is impeccable. The apartments are a bit outdated, but even if I had the option to live somewhere with more up-to-date fixtures, I would choose this apartment simply because of the staff. The grounds are well maintained and the apartments are well cared for.**Special shout out to Vanessa Avila.** We went out of town and received a delivery of frozen food that came much earlier than expected. Vanessa was so kind and helpful. She unloaded all the food into our freezer for us so it wouldnt spoil. Im so grateful to her! This is truly going above and beyond. Thank you, Vanessa!

I think most people get to a point where they want peace and calmness as the focal point of where they live. This place is just that. Avalon Mission Oaks has not only been wonderful community, but its convinced my wife and I that Camarillo is where we want to settle down in a few years. I think Avalon pays meticulous detail to upkeep, maintenance, regulations, and aesthetics - all of which are important to keep a tenant extremely happy. The staff is super friendly and accommodating (shout out to Vanessa for all her help), the neighbors are polite, its nestled in a beautiful/quiet part of town, and the convenience of having a Vons, CVS, gym, bank, etc. being a literal stone throw away speaks for itself. Not to mention the in-unit washer/dryer, subzero AC, and overall stylish floorplans are the cherries on top. Theres also never a problem with parking, no obnoxious people wandering about, and I dont think Ive ever seen once piece of trash on the ground in the 10 months Ive been here. I dont like to brag where I live, but... :)We couldnt be happier. And for us, its worth every penny.

Ive had some health issues and Luis from the Leasing Office has been extremely accommodating. He stays on top of every request, no matter how small. These people are top notch and Luis is definitely shining at the top. Avalon is a great place to live we have been here over a year now and cant express how much we love it here, clean and SAFE area. What really makes avalon of mission oaks a great place to live is the maintenance crew they are very professional and always very prompt on any work order we place. Today Bob and Humberto replaced our washer in a very prompt and professional way. They are always available even after hours wich is a big plus. Office staff is great as well.

I give 5 stars for management team, and 4 stars for the complex overall. The building is 80s tech so all the latest in design interior is dated with box tv insets and stereo equipment niche (at least this is how my unit is)... The location is good and neighbors are nice. The gym is small but clean and a pleasant pool area appoints the properties best amenities.This is my experience as of move 2 weeks in.to be continued..............

I came by today to look for an apartment and was so taken back by the lack of consideration by an employee. She was extremely dismissive and I am very sure I probably wont return.

It has been pleasant to live in Avalon Mission Oaks for about a year and a half. The office and Maintenance teams are very polite and Profesional. I recommended my sister Gloria to live here, she is very excited about moving over on May. I do recommend this well kept apartments.

Ive dealt with a lot of apartment maintenance crews. These guys are solid. Every single one is super friendly and gets the job done quickly on top of that.

I have lived at Avalon for two years and the staff is incredible. Always on top of things and letting us know about whats going on in the facility. But AJ the maintenance guy is always helpful around the apartment. He knows his stuff and is always here within a day to fix what needs to be done. Been living here for 4 months and absolutely love this community so far! The office staff and the maintenance guys are efficient and response to any issues you have within 24 hours. The community is great with monthly food trucks, pet happy hours, snow cone days. Parking is also great. Each apartment gets one assigned spot and the 2nd car can park in the open space. I never had trouble finding a spot.I also love how Vons, CVS, a few restaurants are walking distance from this community. Theres also a trail nearby too!

This apartment complex is amazing! Ive lived here nearly 3 months. The staff is friendly, professional, helpful, and prompt. They immediately respond to every one of my concerns. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and convenient with a couple of back gates specifically to take a shortcut to CVS and Vons.My biggest reason for 5 stars is Carlos from the Maintenance Crew. He tests everything to make sure its 100% fixed before he leaves. He is friendly, approachable, professional, courteous, and respectful. Thanks for everything Carlos! We came from Florida, and we just moved last July here in California, and Camarillo is our first destination. We never had an idea on what Avalon Mission Oaks community looks like and we did not had the opportunity to check it first before moving in. We solely based our decision through pictures and reviews, and honestly there are no regrets. Avalon Mission Oaks is a peaceful community. I so love this place...it was a love at first sight, actually. Neighbors are so nice and friendly. And the community is a great location to live at, especially it is literally right across Vons, CVS and some restaurants, which is a big plus for me because I don’t drive yet. The management and maintenance staff are outstanding. Repair requests are immediately attended with sense of urgency. There’s a great chance of staying here longer than we anticipated because of the exceptional service.

These apartments are beautiful with hardwood floors in the kitchen. It is located right next to the Vons shopping center so it makes it easier to shopping done. All of the maintenance team are always willing to help and are very friendly. If there is an issue I can count on them to be there fairly quickly to fix the problem. Today I needed the locks changed and within an hour the maintenance guys were there to change the locks. I also requested to have a light changed because I get home late at night sometimes and they changed it within 2 hours. Even one of the new guys Douglas Chavez offered to help me with my car issues which is above and beyond his job requirements.

Excellent maintenance service call at the last moment with the office closed by Humberto and Bob (Robert). Both are professional, responsive and efficient.

I have lived in this community for almost two years and I have had a great relationship with the office staff Luis and Keli have both helped me in so many ways its pleasant to come into the office and Im known by my first name I would recommend this community to everyone, love the staff here.
