All around we had great service. The team made sure our order was correct despite many changes I made throughout the decision making process. The windows arrive 2 weeks early and the installation went very smoothly. They were very clean and left our space spotless! Very happy with the quality as well, we love how they really added some much needed insulation to stop the drafts. Thrilled with our new windows and door!

We were looking to replace the front entry doors on our home dating back to last year. We didnt really see anything that we liked at the big box stores. We also visited the showroom of another exterior door & window business, but their selection was not much better than the big box stores. We decided to check out Next Door & Window in the Spring of 2021 after seeing one of their ads. We visited the Arlington Heights location and met one of the salesmen, Mark P. Mark showed us around and we were impressed by the selection and quality of doors. Mark came by our house the following week to provide us with several estimates and visual images on a variety of front entry doors.My wife and I eventually narrowed our choice down to two doors, but we had to go to the Naperville showroom to see the glass styles that we were interested in. The sales team at the Naperville showroom were very helpful as well.We ended up ordering our new doors in April 2021 and the original lead-time was about 8 weeks. Actual delivery & installation took four months, but I understand that many industries are experiencing supply chain delays. Our installer was Fred and he was absolutely top notch! He did an incredible job installing our new doors. Definitely A+ work! Fred was very polite and professional. He took a lot of pride in his work from start to finish. I was extremely pleased with the end result. Our new doors look fantastic! Thank you to everyone at Next Door & Window for a very positive experience.

We had Next Door and Window install windows throughout our entire townhome. Amer Khan was our salesperson and I cannot say enough great things about him. Very knowledgeable and super considerate. We purchased a new front door and had it installed. Top notch service all the way around! Ben, our salesperson, was very knowledgeable about the products and even gave me local address to see how different features looked in a real setting. I appreciated that he wasnt pushy in anyway and encouraged us to take the time to make a choice wed love.Fred, our installation professional was amazing! It was not the average install and we really thought hed have to remove part of the wall. He was so careful and skilled, long story short - stone wall is intacted and door installed perfect!

The installer arrived on time and explained to me how he would complete the project. Fred the installer was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained each step of the process and what he would do to ensure that the door installation was perfect. Fred worked efficiently and the end result was an installation that went flawlessly. We recently had a new Provia front door installed by Next Window and Door. It is beautiful! I was nervous about replacing a wood door with a fiberglass one but it looks great and will be minimal maintenance. The sales rep came to our house and determined everything that needed to be done for installation. The door came sooner than we expected and the installers were prompt and did an excellent job. Highly recommend.

Our door installation was delayed due to pandemic but they kept me updated and help me through out the process. Installation guy his name is Fred, such a dedicated and very detailed oriented in his work. 5 STARS for him.

I received a phone call telling me the e value of the patio door I ordered wasnt acceptable to my town. I was offered a different door that would meet the cities requirements - told is was a better door and that there would be no additional costs - I agreed to the replacement. Installer was a professional who did a fantastic job on the installation of the door and the trim work. Sliding patio door great, enclosed blinds work smoothly but then you have the screen door, definitely an after thought. The screen door slides poorly, doesnt close easily and the locking mechanism is clumsy at best.Separate Subject:When we agreed to the new patio door we asked for an estimate on two other doors, front and side. Reviewed some options and were told we would receive some options with views and cost - Never received.Reminded NDW when they called about the patio door that we were waiting on estimates for two other doors and were assured they would be coming shortly. Well here it is many months later and we still havent received the requested eestimates.

It was a great experience from beginning to end. The salesman and the installers were courteous and professional. The installation was smooth and the installers took all the debris away. I’ve had several doors installed before and this is the only one I am truly completely satisfied with.

I had heard about this group from several people. As a old house lover, I’ve worked with many tradesmen. Beyond quality of work, simple things such as eta, follow up, respecting the home you are working in, answering questions all count. Next Door has the same values. I’m very pleased.

After doing the majority of work on my home restoration over the last 25 years I decided to give myself a break when it cam to replacing my windows. Primarily, I wanted to bring in professionals who could do the install quickly and efficiently and leave the job complete and to the specs of the plan agreed to. This is not what happened with next window and door. The initial sales person came out and was very knowledgeable about his product (Marvin Windows) made promises about the level of expertise his installers had at installing both new construction and replacement windows, and how they would install trim around the windows that included crown moulding. The next person to come out took the exact measurements of the windows, confirmed that all the new construction windows would have nail flaps attached to the windows so that they could be front mounted to face of the house and clarified what trim would be added and how it would be attached. All was good to that point. I was told the installation would take 3 days and one team would do all the work. The installation was a complete mess. The entire process took over 8 months to complete. The new construction windows did not come with a nail flap. They were not installed in the manner that the very specific contract detailed. The installer (Greg) decided he was going to make changes to the design of the installation and said the initial agreed on plan would not work (completely wrong!). He also installed the crown moulding upside-down. I literally had to pull up pictures from next window and doors website to show him how the company advertised how crown was hung. I also googled images of what properly hung crown moulding looked like. Instead of recognizing his mistake and correcting it, he loudly and with irritation stated he would change the moulding but he would not do it the way it was agreed. He would do it his way only. At that point I contacted next window and door and told them this wasnt acceptable and that they needed to send out a different crew to finish the work. They sent out a single person to install the final window that next window and door failed to order when they put the order through originally with Marvin. That person only installed the single replacement window and aluminum wrapped it. He did not address the the trim issues or the windows that were improperly installed without the nail flaps. It wasnt until 4 months later that two other installers were sent to the house to finish the trim installation. At this point my wife and I accepted that the poorly installed new construction windows were not going to be removed and modified. We just want the trim to be installed and to be finished with next window and door. The two men showed up but the material they needed was not provided for them to finish the job. So they needed to reschedule again. One of the installers seemed put out that he needed to finish the trimming out of three windows and a door (to match the windows). His exact statement was I didnt realize I was going to have to rebuild your entire house. What a complete jerk, and not the dramatic comment we wanted after all wed been through. The other installer (Kellen) was knowledgeable and completed the work the next time out. Unfortunately, they again did not send out the correct material. We now have three different style sills on the four windows on our back deck. In fairness, each time I spoke with someone at the next window and door office they were polite and tried to be accommodating. However, the installation was a mess. Do yourself a favor and consider other options to next window and door.

We have had the pleasure of working with NEXT Door and Window for both of our door and window projects. From the extremely knowledgeable salesman, to the professional, detail oriented installers, both of our projects were a complete success!Growing up with a father who was a general contractor and a building code official, we are very particular about who works on our home. When researching options, we knew we wanted high quality windows and doors, but also knew that the installation was the key to their long-term durability. We absolutely loved the quality of the Marvin windows and Provia doors, but the highly educated salesman and extremely experienced in-house installers are what sold us on NEXT Door and Window. Peter Pils and Frank Biela installed our windows and Fred Masters and Carl Issacson installed our doors. All of them identified pre-existing issues with our home, including rotted wall studs, insufficient insulation, and unlevel door openings. All of these problems were appropriately and effectively addressed on the day of installation. The fine details were then attended to, leaving our windows with perfectly mitered corners and our doors with beautiful caulk lines. Yes, I said it. Beautiful caulk lines! Fred Masters, you are truly a master of door installations and an artist at heart. Any homeowner would be extremely fortunate to have these gentlemen install in their home.We highly recommend NEXT Door and Window for your door and window projects. You definitely get what you pay for...in the best way possible. We have 1 phase of our project remaining and we will undoubtedly be utilizing their superior services and products yet again.

We had our patio doors replaced and we couldnt be happier. Mike, who did the installation, is a consummate professional. He worked from 8:30 to 3:30 and only took one break. He was focused on one thing. Quality. The new doors and surrounding trim were installed perfectly. And he took the time to explain to us what he was doing and why. I have been telling and will continue to tell all of my friends and relatives about Next Door & Window. Also, hats off to our salesman Bill. We wouldnt have ordered the patio doors if it wasnt for his professionalism and caring..

The service was great! I wish my storm door didn’t take so long to come in, but it was worth the wait. These guys are very professional, polite and knowledgeable. Once my storm door was ready, the installation was fast and no mess to clean up. Would recommend and use these guys again.

Great to work with - they assigned a project manager to our job, who kept us up to date on the progress of our window order and managed the scheduling of work. The installers were very professional and did great workmanship - our installation was a complex angled window and required new trim and flashing - it looks so much better than what we had in place. I would definitely use them again and recommend the team to others.

I have used Next Door and Window several times for both windows and doors. The have replaced almost every window and door in my house. There products are great quality; I have used Marvin and they are way better than the Norcos originally installed in my house. Their installation is the best. They leave every thing looking perfect and they always call a day or two later to make sure you are happy. Today I had the seal replaced under warranty on my patio door. It took the crew less than half an hour to repair. They arrived on time. They put on shoe covers and were wearing face masks. I also had a small trim piece replaced on a window that was about 8 years old and I had the same experience. Next Door in Window has great service if you ever have a problem with anything they have installed for you.

Next door and window our Craftsman, they take the time to look at every installation and understand what is the best way to do it. Chris who installed my windows looked at the old wood windows that were aluminum clad and made sure that my Hardie board was not affected and was able to make it look like the windows were replaced and you dont even see any difference. Mike who did the door the front door took apart the old door with the two side panels and was able to make sure that how the door was installed looked unbelievable.So from my perspective next door and window is all focused around craftsmanship and quality and Id have them do more work for me when I got more windows to replace.

Punctual and meticulous. Installers Peter and Stefan requested 7:30 a.m. start time and arrived at 7:25. Tarps on front lawn and inside house. Perfect cuts each time on trim. One and done. Marvin makes an awesome product. Will be using NEXT for future window purchases !

Fantastic job and experience. From the start, the sales guy Josh was very informative and easy going. Not pushy at all. Laid out a ton of good options to choose from and responded quickly when we had questions. Then on the installation we had the pleasure of getting Fred assigned to us. This was our first full experience with Next Door, specifically the Naperville store.Ryan Beacoms knowledge of the window industry was evident as he took the time to explain every detail to me with the patience of a saint and dealt with my undecidedness like a pro.The installers were so fantastic. Not only did they arrive early on installation day, but they showed me, my house, and everything around my life that day respect. The weather at the end of the day was cold, rainy, and just plain miserable, but these guys got it done as promised & were even able to clean up.Overall, the installation process was painless, from start to finish. And we plan on using them again.
