American Building Contractors (ABC) installed new siding, six windows and gutters with guards on our 60-year-old house. We are very pleased with the finished product and we have gotten many compliments on the house’s “new look.” Our salesman, Scott, the program manager, Zach, and the crew were very professional and responsive to our requests. The siding install was top-notch and the vent color matches perfectly. They arranged for some very competent contractors to install the windows, gutters and do the electrical work. I would definitely recommend ABC! The only complaint I have is that the crew and one subcontractor left a gate in our backyard open at the end of the day and our dogs escaped two times. I would suggest people with gates make sure they are closed at night and/or remind crew to shut them when they finish for the day.

I needed some siding replaced, so I reached out to American Building Contractors to get a quote and see what needed to be done. From this point forward, their communication was prompt, their information/quotes honest, and their prices fair. When it came time for the work to actually begin, the installers were efficient and followed the manufacturer instructions for LP SmartSide to a T- which means it should last, and last, and last.They did an excellent job and I cannot thank them enough. I look forward to working with them again when we replace the other sides!

We had a leak in one of our bedrooms and didnt know who to call. HomeAdvisor recommended ABC. I was told they would send out a carpenter who wasnt a salesman and that he would be coming out to make the repair not to give me an estimate. It would cost $160 an hour and he would be able to fix it that day. Jason came out and figured out what was causing the problem in about 5 minutes.He had to replace some wood that was rotted under the shingles and then replace the shingles. He did it all in a little over an hour. He showed me the rotted wood and took pictures. He was very professional yet took the time to answer all of my questions. They were fair, honest and did exactly what was promised. I was happily surprised and would recommend them to anyone.

Our house was hit with a storm and had damage to the roof and gutters. ABC inspected our house quickly, worked with our insurance company, and provided excellent service throughout the process. We would highly recommend ABC. Also, we loved working with Josh and Reed- both were nice, helpful, and professional.

I just had my roof done yesterday. The contractor was on time and finished the project within a day. The project manager was on site and very responsive to any questions I had. The project manager was very professional, and the crew was polite when I talked with them. Everything was cleaned up as if they were never there. Great experience!

ABC did a wonderful job. We ran into some issues that we discussed as possibilities up front. They communicated very quickly and provided accurate information on budget and project status. We had some challenges with weather and some unexpected structural issues. These were communicated and resolved quickly. The crew did a great job with cleanup.

My house was hit with a wicked storm. I needed new roof, siding, and a few windows. The ABC crew handled everything in a smooth and seamlesss fashion. This was the proverbial “set it and forget it” repair. Unfortunately, this was not the first time something like this has happened to us. I wish I would have used ABC the first time. I can’t undo that mistake but I am 100% sure I will use ABC the next time (but hoping there won’t be a next time).

Due to hail damage, we selected ABC to replace our roof. From the moment they initially came out to check for the damage, I knew I would be going with them. From start to finish, they were outstanding. A field supervisor was here at all times as well as a VP of operations stopping in to check on the progress. Our roof took 3 days to complete and the crew was fabulous. Cleanup was done meticulously and as of now, we have not had any issues with our roof. I would definitely recommend them and use them for any future issues.

Excellent Company. I had American Building Contractors do some roof repair after high winds in a recent storm. Contacted American Building Contractors and Chris was at my place in less then a hour. Chris was very friendly and helpful. He answered all my questions and reassured me they could help with my job no matter how big or small. I decided to replace the handful of shingles that had flown off during the storm. Couldnt be any happier with the end product and how easy Chris and American Building Contractors were to deal with through the entire process. I will definitely use them for any future roofing needs.

Extremely dissappointed with the service from this company - And I didnt even have a chance to see their work. I called to schedule a siding repair on June 21 and was told I was added to the calendar but it would likely be about 3-4 weeks before they could get out to my house. Not having heard an update, I called back on July 3 to find out status and was informed they were still a few weeks out. I called back again yesterday, since another 5 weeks had gone by and I still hadnt heard anything, and was just informed that they are now booked out for the remainder of the year and they wouldnt be coming out at all. How in the...??? I cant imagine dragging a customer along like this. My job would likely only take a could of hours too (assuming this is the real reason they cancelled - not worth it to them). Be careful if you think you have work scheduled with American Building Contractors - theyll probably cancel on you too!

It is rare that I ever post a 5 star review, but this company really deserves it. I suffered severe hail damage to my roof, siding and pool early this summer. After filing a claim with my insurance company they tried to settle for a fraction of the replacement costs. Thats when I called ABC. They sent out Mr. Trafton as a representative. He was friendly, thorough and professional every step of the way. He took pictures and submitted all kinds of supplemental materials to ABCs insurance division who stuck with my claim until my insurance company finally agreed to pay the full replacement costs (as they should have in the first place). Three weeks after settling with my insurance company a crew from ABC showed up and replaced my roof. They did a professional job every step of the way. In fact, they were so professional that they went to my next door neighbors, told them they were about to begin work and asked them if they had any concerns. A week later they scheduled the siding crew. Two days later my siding was installed, just as professionally as the roof. From the very beginning to the very last detail of the job ABC was the most congenial and professional contractor I ever worked with; and I did union construction for 20 years, so I know what Im talking about. I HIGHLY recommend you hire ABC for your exterior remodeling needs! For an insurance claim I wouldnt recommend you use anyone else. Everyone I dealt with at ABC through the entire process couldnt have been friendlier or more professional. Thats why they deserve a 5 star rating. Dont let your insurance company screw you. Call ABC for all your roofing and siding needs - and ask for Mr. Trafton to come to your home for a free, no obligation assessment. Their employees are the best, and their insurance department rocks! They are the best in the business!

Overall they did a good job! I did have to give them three stars ue to lack of communication. I found it difficult to get a time when they would be out to my house to complete the job. When I called, Clay was very nice and personable, and got me an estimated time for completion, but unfortunately this time frame got extended. Now I understand that for jobs like this, the timeframe may move, but my issue again was with the lack of communication, which required me to call back twice more. After the job was completed, I then had to call the company after a weeks regarding the check I had received from our insurance company, as they had not yet picked it up- assumed they would want to be paid for the job! All in all, they did a good job with the roof, just need to work on communicating with their customers. Things could have been a bit more coordinated and organized.

Chris came out to replace a few shingles after the wind storm. He was quick with the repair and offered to leave a few extra shingles. For the time I saved, the speed they arrived and the money it cost, I would call them again.

American Building Contractors did a great job with service and quality of work for me at my house with an insurance claim. Appreciate the help to make sure we received a fair claim, and they were able to quickly and professionally do the replacement work.

It was great teamwork. Jericho knew whats going on my siding crack and fixed all the problems in half a day. He even did fan service (painting on the new sidings). It was worth to invest some $$ and fix all the headaches. Thx handyman!
