Yes, my Front left Tire had a Nail, that had punctured into it, causing my Tire alert light to come on. Honest - 1 Auto Care, Repaired my nail issue fixed the Tire, without a charge to me. My Driving the Car now, is great without the Tire light constantly being on.

Had my F150 in for oil and filter change along with tire rotation. Appointment was for 8am, arrived a few minutes before and they took the vehicle right in and was out by 9am with no surprises.Very well run shop!

I recently had my vehicle towed to Honest1 after having starter issues. After looking at my vehicle, they called back with what I assumed my issue was – a bad starter. They quoted me nearly $1k for the starter alone, so I called around and received three separate quotes ranging from $600-$750. When I called back to Honest1 and mentioned taking my car to a different mechanic, they started by giving me their whole spiel about quality parts, etc. and then asked if the original person could call me back. They then called back and offered the repair for $770+, conveniently higher than my other quotes but low enough so that me paying their diagnostic fee and towing the vehicle elsewhere would not have been worth it.That experience alone warranted the low review. The cherry on top, however, is that they recommended an oil change and air filter and were going to charge me $200. I took my car to Valvoline for a much more reasonable oil change and to check the air filter. The kicker? Valvoline didn’t even recommend a new air filter yet (and they always do!).Best case scenario (from my experience): This mechanic shop charges inflated prices, and they always recommend the most expensive part (without even mentioning the other options).Worst case scenario: This shop intentionally misleads customers and tries to take advantage of those who towed their vehicle in (assuming that the owner doesn’t want to or have the means to tow their vehicle elsewhere).

As a first time customer, I was impressed. Their communication process is top notch. Not only did they tell me what they did, they documented it and shared it with photographs. Their pricing is fair and they only do work that is needed, rather than what they can get away with like other places; my regular preventive maintenance schedule said to replace something and they explained why it was not yet needed. Easy to work with and honest, a rare combination now days. I WILL use their services again.

AMAZING! They are true to their name and they stand by their work. They provide photos of issues, provide a courtesy car for no fee if needed (just refill with gas) and if they have ever worked on your car they will have it towed to them for free. Of the repairs I have priced checked they have always had the lower price. I often get coupons to help with the repairs/maintenance I need. Major repairs suck but this company has really taken care of both of my vehicles so I can feel safe and confident driving older vehicles. Special shout out to Joe and the owner for always being great to work with!!

Joe was incredibly friendly and kind, he had a good attitude and went above and beyond. Due to the work needed to be done on my car, they said it may take an extra day and go into Monday. I was really hoping to have my car back Saturday so I could get to work Monday, I called at 1pm to just check on it and to my surprise they had finished it earlier than expected! They were able to make it so I could get my car & get to work Monday, on such short notice of the repairs needed! Every person I interacted with greeted me with a smile and a positive attitude! Would recommend!

Was told needed rear rotors and brakes replaced. Took car to a different place to have this done as was cheaper. They said the rear rotors and brakes were fine but the front brakes needed to be changed out. We do go to Honest 1 often for oil changes and they do a great job. However, if anything else needs to be done the prices are usually higher than anywhere else.

My wife and young kids and I traveled to Minneapolis for a funeral and our car broke down on the way. A dealer service department on the Burnsville auto mile quoted us $3,500 in required maintenance and we took it to Honest1 for an unbiased second opinion. Since we were stranded without a way home Scott and the team prioritized a vehicle inspection and ultimately made a recommendation we trusted that trading in the vehicle was our best option. They were awesome to work with and we were able to make a new car purchase with peace of mind that it was the right decision even though we hadn’t planned it.

Honestly, this is my second time going to Honest-1 (Burnsville location) I have never had more sincere answers to my car problems and honest ideas for the ways I’ve wanted to handle these problems. I’ve recently became a BMW owner and I’ve never had more problems with a vehicle til now. I’ve never needed anything more than an oil change from a shop. These guys have walked me through problems I couldn’t even spell or know existed. Though I didn’t want to cough up the price for my last vehicles issues these guys walked me through every step and it was honestly like I’ve known Joe this whole time. I’d recommend joe & Scott to anyone.. if you don’t have a BMW of course. But bravo, to that crew of guys. Bravo.

Had my AC compressor fixed when told there was a crack and my freon was leaking out. Replaced it Aug 2020 so only used it a handful of times, worked fine until the first hot day this spring and wouldnt get cold at all. Brought it in and they assured me it would be fully covered on my warranty. They confirmed the freon was gone but no dye to tell where its leaking. They added dye with the new freon and Ill have to go back if it continues to leak out and it will be fully covered on the repair last fall. Very good customer service and they even offered a loaner car to use which was very helpful. Im looking forward to getting it fixed once and for all once we determine where its still leaking. I will service all 3 of my cars there based on their excellent service and warranty for work.

I came into their shop with a slow leak in my left front tire. The tire has to be replaced because of where the hole is near the sidewall. They put my spare tire on because I have to drive back to Cincinnati. They didnt charge me for the work. The staff there are very friendly and willing to help out. Great job by everyone. I overwealmly recommend them to anyone.

My unlucky day turned lucky when I was in the right place at the right time.... my 1st flat tire as I drove out of a local store with all my groceries!! We were impressed the minute we walked in. Friendly, respectful and didn’t try and push other services. We received detailed reports with pictures with what our car needed. A bonus was receiving a thank you from the owners via email. We will definitely use them again.

Blew 2 tires on the interstate, picked the nearest AAA approved shop I could find. They checked the car out first thing the next morning. Gave me a price for 4 new tires and they stuck with it. Didnt try to upsell me on anything, which was such a relief since it was already a big expense, and I cant stand being upsold on anything. Joe seemed very knowledgeable on tire options and recommended something within my price range that is good quality. Ill definitely use them again.

What a great experience. My Jeep decided it didn’t want to go into gear as I was at a gas station Christmas morning. Luckily I have AAA and they towed me to Honest 1 in Burnsville. With the Holiday weekend, I knew they wouldn’t even know it was there until Monday. Long story short, I had my Jeep back my Monday evening. Honest 1 did the repairs to get my vehicle back on the road, and suggested things that should be done based on mileage and performance, but not once were they pushy. I hand more done than I thought I would, but because of how awesome the process was, I didn’t hesitate. I even declined some of it, and they were honest in saying that it wasn’t an immediate need, but would have to be addressed eventually. Definitely would recommend and I’ll be back when my Jeep needs service again....which will be sooner than later I bet.

Honest1 is our go-to shop for our vehicles. We live in Northfield now, and if we ever have a say in where to take our vehicles, it’s Honest1 every time. They are kind, thorough in their reports and services, and treat me with complete respect.

Honest1 is my new go-to repair place. Their notification system via text message and email is top notch and a real game changer. Called at 4:30pm for service, dropped it off at 5p for inspection the following day. By 9am I had repair/service estimates with pictures. Authorized repairs by 10am and was notified at 3pm that it was ready to go. Prices were reasonable and very satisfied with the speed and visibility of the whole process! Very smooth, will use again!

I took my F150 truck in for a fluid leak. The vehicle inspection is very helpful. I ended up getting most of the services recommended done and used the coupon. We did have a immediate issue after picking up vehicle but these guys provided a loner vehicle to allow me to get to work and got my vehicle back to me same day. No excuses. I had to bring truck back again 2 days later. Again no excuses and diagnosed issue immediately but also let me know that dealer had a recall on my VIN and would fix truck under warranty. This turned out to be true! And saved me a ton of money. I will use again.

Got me in right away! Needed to see what was wrong with my engine and they did a thorough diagnostic with pics of everything and sent a report back to me in a timely manner. Found out i need a timing chain done on my engine. Wasnt thrilled when the told me the price and ended up finding someone to do it at my house. There quote was higher than what i was finding online so not sure why that was but still was much more than overall what i could afford. Otherwise happy with the service they provided and the staff was really nice!

I just want to say that the people at H-1 are amazing. Its very easy to take your vehicle in, get a repaired or maintenance done without a hitch and give a great review........ that was not my experience. Im from over an hour away and I went to H-1with an emergency. Things did not go well and it was a very rocky start. With that said, I have never dealt with a company that was so willing to own up to a mistake with no excuse at all and then take care of the client as well as Honest 1. Fred, The owner, called me the very next day with a complete rundown of what went wrong and how they were going to fix the problem. Joe the Manager, then called me every day from the morning Fred called until the day I picked my truck up... And, By the way, the truck runs great. They did a free diagnostic and they did a good job pointing out every problem with a 12 year old car but they didnt push for anything that wasnt necessary so they would have 5 stars if their database wasnt trying to make the car like new again.

My first time going here and they were great! As a woman, I have to be wary about what car repair shops I go to because Ive already had other shops try to take advantage of me. I also really find the inspection information helpful since they have photos and recommendations. I like that they didnt try to sell me on getting EVERYTHING done and were honest about what was crucial and needed immediate attention. The price is very fair too. Definitely recommend.

Great service and solid updates throughout the process. Only negative was I failed to ask for military discount. During a follow up call, again very much appreciated, the caller let me know they have a 15% military discount. I mentioned I failed to ask and was wondering if there was an option to apply the missed discount to future work. I was told I could get a $50 credit for follow up work. The discount would have been $475 if applied previously. Very happy with the work itself and would recommend them for your auto repairs. Just make sure you ask about discounts before settling invoice.

These guys are professional and fast. High quality work. Cant complain about one thing from a service standpoint. Only issue is that they suggest service for literally anything. They said the air filters could be replaced when I did so just 5 months ago and they look totally fine. Small thing though and overall they are very good.

They did a turbo repair on my car. It failed too, they replaced it under warranty at no cost with a brand new one. 100% recommend using these guys.

I had to get a timing cover gasket & tie rods plus more to stop my coolant leak.. They would call me & update me on the process of my vehicle.. They make sure what ever they are fixing the parts for the problem is good & not disinfected..They also give out loaner cars.. They are nice & friendly.. Plus a 3yrs & 36xxx mile warrant..

Very friendly service and done quickly and professionally. Be sure to talk through recommended services as they like to throw in extras that dont necessarily need to be done. (I.e. spark plugs, brake fluid), unless of course your car is having issues in these areas. Mine was not. Also, thought price was a bit high. For back brakes it was $450. Ive had it done for $300 at Tires Plus and a small St. Paul shop for $400. Needed mine fixed ASAP or would have shopped around a bit more. Overall, satisfied with my experience.

Normally would give it higher marks but has to sit outside in the cold for 1.5 hours! Used to be friendlier!

Overall great service. One issue is that I had a gift card for oil change with up to 5 quarts of oil. Car requires 5.1 quarts and I got charged for an additional 1 quart which I feel is an unreasonable amount to charge for 0.1 additional quart of oil.

Im thankful I found this company. I live in Sioux Falls and was looking at a used vehicle in Minnesota to purchase from an individual. I had an inspection done at their shop. Upon inspection they found about 4k of repairs that would need to be done on the vehicle. The detailed inspection not only saved me a trip up there but saved me from investing in a vehicle that would have had a lot of costly repairs that werent obvious without a mechanic looking at it. They were able to send pictures, a detailed report, and took the time to speak with me in detail over the phone. Their customer service and quality really is top notch. I would highly recommend them.

Great customer service and very timely. I was nervous to visit an unknown mechanic (visiting from out of town) but felt that I received very good service here. I needed a light in my car changed, and Honest1 took me in without an appointment and quickly fixed my issue. They even gave my dog treats while we waited. I would definitely use them again.

I have been a long time customer, and I brought my vehicle in, they recommended the service, I followed through, paid for it, and unfortunately, the problem was not fixed. When I took it back, they found the issue, made the targeted repairs and did not charge me. Then, the part they installed was defective, they took my vehicle back a second time, and completed the work, a second time, and did not charge me. I am so thankful. You will not find a higher quality service, nor professionalism when compared to Honest-1. Thank you! Wonderful, wonderful organization.

This place was super close to me and cheaper than the dealership. They didjt pressure me to get things done on my vehicle I dont need. BEWARE. I have used Honest1 in the past to service my two previous cars for oil changes and regular maintenance, so they were the obvious choice for me to go to when my new car started making a strange noise. I took it in and worked with Brody. They inspected the car and called to tell me the issue and quoted me two prices ($500 and $800). I called back and spoke with a new guy (Mike I believe) who explained the issue in more depth and gave me a price that seemed reasonable (about $500). He told me that I didnt need to do the more extensive work just yet and it would be better for me to do the less invasive and cheaper option. I trusted him and paid for the work in advance and scheduled a time to come back for the work to be done. 3 days later, Brody calls me. He tells me that the price I paid (and what was quoted to me) was wrong and that it was going to cost me THREE TIMES what I had paid. When I asked why, he could barely give me an actual answer. When I asked why he was now quoting me a higher price than the FIRST estimate for $800, he said that I need a part that no one makes. I drive a 2015 Jeep Renegade. The most popular Jeep in Minnesota. I find it hard to believe that no one makes a part. The original quote that Brody had given me for $800 was to replace the entire part, and was still LESS than what he was telling me now. He even said that he was trying to save me money, but charging me over $1,000 more than my original quote sounds more like he was trying to take advantage of me. I have since gotten quotes from 3 other mechanics and all 3 of them were SCHOCKED at the price Brody gave me. They all said it shouldnt cost more than $800, while he was charging me $1600.I did get my money back after I complained, but I was so offended and disappointed that this happened. Dont lie to your clients, just be honest like the name of your company. Had they been straightforward with me to begin with, I would have given them a second chance.

Took my car last time for smoking through the engine. Paid $600 in cash for the repair . After I drove couple miles my started smoking again. Took my car back to them and they told me to pay another $600. After that I realize that this business was not honest at all and not professional. I will never ever take my car or recommend someone to take their car to this business.finally, took my car to another repair and I had to pay only $300. And it was fixed really good.

I worked with Joe at the Burnsville location to service the brakes on my daughter’s Jeep. They did an awesome job in no time at all. They did a really cool inspection that warned me of things that may be on the horizon. Brody and the team were amazing. My engine started smoking and they were the closest repair center. I pulled in an hour before they were closed. I was lucky it wasnt a serious problem, but they had to order a part. They got the part, fixed the problem and I was out before they closed. Very professional and friendly. Ill be back!

Overall, did a decent job. They were able to fit me in if I could drop it off and they got it done within the window they said. Thank you. They offered to do a lot of extra things, new struts/shocks all around and new rotors along with the brake pads. Store manager said I dont really need the suspension just yet...so my thought is, dont offer it! Ive never had to replace struts on a vehicle at 70,000 miles! This is about the same offering I got when I brought a different vehicle in here a couple years ago. Its a little annoying. Also, their oil change card they offer: FYI, it only covers 5 quarts, which doesnt cut it for a lot of vehicles. It does say that on the card, but it is easy to miss when you see the FREE in big letters. I also had to wait quite a while just to pay when I was done. The car door was unlocked when I went to the parking lot to get in my car. I asked the manager about that and he said they normally lock it.

I took a day off on a Friday to have my car done at a dealership and they told me excuses to get rid of me cause they were swamped and down three (3) technicians and set me an appointment for Wednesday. So I called around and found out the same appointment availability is Wednesday. Then I found Honest 1 in Burnsville and was told I could come in tomorrow which is a Saturday at 8am and they actually didn’t blow smoke up my tooshy! They were professional and very HONEST! That’s how I see how they got their name. Work was done in a couple hours and I was on my way! I’ve found my new auto care shop for myself and family and that’s HONEST 1! Thanks guys! Also I like to mention is the email setup that I received with all details in the work that was done. It really goes into detail and the pictures are awesome along with other inspections like transmission fluid, coolant, belts, air/cabin filters, etc. AWESOME SETUP!I highly recommend HONEST 1!I also took my vehicle in for a rattle which was bugging me ever since I owned the car for about 2 1/2 years and they were able to figure it out!!GREAT PLACE TO GO!!!!

Went in for a pre-sale inspection. It was great, excellent value and they had a really nice report with photos and recommended steps. Everyone should do this with their cars. Brody up front was a great dude too, really helped me out.

On top of talking to you about the vehicle and issues found, you receive a report that includes pictures and videos of them! So amazing! So for people like I, who don’t know very much about vehicles, can see the issues, understand the issues. On top of that, informational videos on what the parts are designed to do on it. Then throw in the awesome customer service I’ve received. I’m not going anywhere else for my vehicle repairs from here on out! Thank you!

Made an appointment the day before and dropped off the next day. They offer a shuttle service but I didnt use it because I live within walking distance. They staff was very professional and helpful with just telling me what I needed and they worked quickly. I will be using their services again.

Ive been going here to get my oil change for my WRX since the dealerships charge more than $100 for an oil change when this place is pretty much half that cost. Its an oil change, youre in and out in no time. I could do the oil change myself but Id rather just drop off the car and get back to work (or grab lunch). The front office staff is knowledgeable and they dont give you the typical sales pitch. They are as they say they are, honest! I like the digital inspection they have. Being able to see a review of what they inspect on the car and what might need replacing soon like air filter helps with making decisions on whether I can do it on my own time or just let them complete the service. During this time with the pandemic, theyve been very good with their COVID policies. My wife and I take our vehicles here for oil changes and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future!
