Im always one to shop insurance provider rates every year to ensure we dont overpay. Last year I found an agent able and willing to search rates on my behalf. The rates were reasonable enough and I didnt want to investigate with my own time so we happily accepted the lowest quoted amount of Progressive. A year later I call Jeremy to check new rates and to my surprise Im left waiting for a response. I call back to see the status of the new quotes but no answer. Finally a call back and he tells me hes been busy but hell look into it and will notify me when he gets the info. Here we are, 4 months later and mums the word from Lone State Insurance Agencys representative Jeremy. So today I shopped for my own insurance, not only did I find lower cost insurance but it was drastically lower than anything Jeremy ever quoted me for both auto and motorcycle. It begs the question of whether or not this agency is competent enough to actually run the numbers and give honest feedback or do they push customers into the arms of certain insurance companies for a little kick back, while also screwing over naive clients. If you work with these guys go shop your own policy, dollars to donuts youll find a better policy than what you were given.

One of the many great things about America is we have choices. My previous insurance provider was not totally bad. However, when I wanted some info on insurance renewals, they did not respond (why should I keep asking?). Furthermore, they could not do something I wanted (until they heard I renewed with someone else / then all of a sudden they could do it). Too late. Dawn from Lonestar was friendly / helpful and smart (not pushy). Give em I try. I did and received great service and better price.

I found Lone Star Insurance Agency on Dave Ramseys website. I requested a quote for insurance and they were able to beat my current rates with Allstate. Not only that, but the customer service is fantastic! Naaman is great to work with, but the receptionists are spot on too. I had an issue with an auto draft that was not pulling my payment and they went to work contacting the company and fixing the problem. I have been insured by Lone Star Insurance Agency for about 1 year and I couldnt be happier!!! Shortly, after we made the switch we need to claim due to a home break in. Kim was amazing, she answered all my questions, and helped me understand the process. Since then there has been a car accident and she has given me great advice on what I need to do when it came to claiming under the other driver. I know I have only been insured a year from Lone Star, but can only speak great volumes to the service they have been provided to me and my family.

She was eager to answer ALL my questions, provide me with affordable rates for both home and auto, and walk me through the process. Great experience with Kristin and the Lone Star family so far.

Great pricing until you don’t upgrade your new debit card information. Then it’ll cost a ridiculous amount to reconnect and if you don’t reconnect the same day they call you then there will be a $30 fee for every day going forward apparently. Will be switching do to this poor customer service.
