This place is awesome. If you use your computer a lot and havent had a checkup on it in a while, you definitely should bring it here. Also if its running slow for you.My desktop was having trouble updating. The owner fixed the program, removed a bunch of little viruses and even dusted out the inside. The price was unbelievably low.They fixed my laptop not long ago, so when my desktop needed work I drove all the way from Olympia to have have them fix it. It was it 100% worth the drive. I highly recommend this place.

I went in on Saturday June 26th, I was helped by two men and a woman on my search for a 128gb SSD (I was told that my computer couldnt read anything higher than that) so I went to find a used computer place because I know they usually have a lot of off the wall stuff in the back. After 10 mins of them looking around, they got me a 256gb m.2 ssd that they couldnt use because of some damage. I took the free shot and ended up with twice the space I was looking for. These guys had my computer for a week and said they needed more time and to order a part to trouble shoot my laptop. I have an Alienware 17” R4. Not a very uncommon laptop. They say they fix laptops so, you’d think they would have everything they need to at least tell me what is wrong with my computer. The owner is an absolute legend. I was in need of thermal paste a couple years ago and he helped me out by offering me one of the tubes he had for free. After some haggling, I was able to give him $10 I believe. Now, I have enough thermal paste to last me the next 100 computers I build.

I have 2 laptops fixed here. They are very nice and willing to answer any question that you are curious about your laptop. They are bust all the times so they might let you wait for 3-4 days to response you about the estimation.

Every time we go to Computer Sonics in Burien, they are absolutely great, every time. I even purchased a used laptop from them, and its outstanding! I wont take my computer business anywhere else.

Excellent experience at Computer Sonics Burien. Brought my computer and adapter in when my computer suddenly stopped working. After some sleuthing and checking, realized its most likely the power adapter that is the problem, not the computer. Thankfully. Even helped me find a replacement option online. Felt relieved leaving the shop and grateful for the help. Definitely will go back in the future, if the need arises.

I brought my laptop in after it stopped working and was told that the motherboard had stopped working and it would not be worth it to replace it. The guy I talked to was very nice and gave me lots of advice on what laptops to purchase if I got a new one.

I have been taking my computers to Computer Sonics for years now and they have always taken care of any issues I could not fix myself. They are always great to work with, quick on turn-around and reasonably priced. I have also taken my companies work computers there when they needed worked on with the same results. I have worked with Hamid more recently in my last couple of visits there and he is very helpful and pleasant to work with. I would recommend giving them a try if you havent yet if you need any work done on your computer. They also have parts and pieces and computers for sale in the store as well.

Go local! Getting my iPhone screen replaced at Computer Sonics cheaper, and more pleasant than getting it replaced at Apple. I got fixed it in 45 minutes. They also replaced my glass screen protector in-store for free, while in the past Ive had to ship it in to the manufacturer in order to get it replaced. All-around very positive experience, would recommend to anyone!

This business has been helpful and available for my computer issues. I am working at the present moment which has required some updates I did not understand. They were always available and knowledgeable when it required solving a current problem as well as new installs. Some of the equipment I had was outdated and they helped me keep what was still relevant.

The shop was very accommodating to my needs that I had for my computer. I had actually brought in a chip that did not work which they extended themselves to ordering a motherboard and returned it while doing the repair. I offered to pay for the shipping, but they just wanted the job done right and stated they had a professional relationship with Their supplier. We had three older laptops that crashed but we still needed the data off the drives. We were hoping to have the hard-drives put in cases so we could use them as external drives. Unfortunately, they were too badly damaged but the guys came up with a great plan B. They were able to pull off all the data and put it on a 1 TB drive. Problem solved. Very economical and fast! Recently, the entire Seattle area had a major wind storm that knocked out power in my area for several hours. It also caused a power surge that fried my motherboard in my PC. I was fortunate enough to find ComputerSonics in Burien, and in a few short days, they replaced my motherboard and upgraded my system to current standards and I could not be more pleased. I bought a real good HP Desktop at Costco in 2018. $600 on sale, tower only. Performance issues came up later, computer began running awful.A little after a year the warranty ran out, I got the total run around from their extended warranty 800 numberwhich they want to try to talk you into repairing your own computer over the phone. Rude, interrupting, dominating CSR at their 800 number. Costcos warranty is a joke!I went to a computer repair place in Renton. After 5 days and wanting a$55 payment up front for an assessment, they emailed me saying theycould fix it for $450 plus my $55 already paid. So by now im getting reallyupset by all this nonsense. Picked up my computer from this rip off place. It sat for 2 months at my desk unusable . Totally discouraging.I looked for a better repair place, talked to a lot of people.And then I found COMPUTER SONICS! I read all these reviews and thought if there is any decent place around Seattle Tacoma, this has got to be it.Last Monday, I brought it in, and HAMID THE MAN! was there and right away tore into my computer! He said with what I was telling him my issues were, he was sure it needed a new hard drive, and explained to methe new upgrade now available in the last year. He quoted me $180 andsaid he could have it done in 2 days. less than 48 hours later, he called me and said its ready, and told me what a great computer it is.The bill came to $180.
