This best place to get your nails done

I asked the lady for gel pedi and mani… when she started to paint my toes with regular paint and I asked for gel she just kept repeating that it was more money… okay so I just tell her to paint it with regular because she was already past the first coat and I was short on time. When we did my nails she told be “NO” when I asked her for two colors for my gel manicure… okayAnd now 4 days later 2 of 10 gel nails are chipped.This is a good solution as it’s the one of the only shops open on a Sunday…. But I’m definitely not trying to go back to this salon.

This place has always been hit or miss and lacks professionalism but I have used it in a pinch. I can say now I will NEVER EVER go back! I made an appointment last night for my sister and I to get manicures at 5:30. We were not addressed when we walked and not seated until 6pm. I had gel on my nails and the owner did not wrap them til 615. At 630 one technician started working on my sisters manicure. I sat for over a half hour with foils on my fingers. Finally the owner started to remove them. I decided I was not going to get gel put back on as it was already close to 7pm. I was still charged for a “manicure” priced just for gel removal and nail trim. The owner said she would take 5$ off for my wait but it still cost $20!!!!On top of all of this they do not schedule you with one technician. Rather they rotate and they work on other people while they are working on your nails. This running around is not only stressful it is also NOT COVID SAFE!!!! I would discourage anyone from going here and supporting this business.

Absolutely the worst manicure I’ve ever gotten. They cut my cuticles so poorly, that I was bleeding. When I said “Ouch” the nail tech wasn’t even listening to me & kept cutting. It wasn’t until she saw the blood, did she stop. Within 2 days after the gel manicure almost every cuticle was red & swollen. I had to continually put neosporin on all my fingers. They actually charged me an additional $5 because I was paying with a debit card. I will never step foot in there again.

Visited my family last weekend. I and my mom tried Safety 1st nail salon. Very friendly staff, Excellent service, reasonable prices, and love ❤️ this place. Highly recommend. Thanks again for your great service, Gina!

Professionalism is out the window, we got there 1 1/2 hrs b4 they closed at first they wouldnt take us then they said yes for a pedicure, full set and eyebrow wax. First they made up thier own prices as we were there, I had a spa pedicure a mth ago and it was cheaper than the basic one I did. My sis got her eyebrows done and that took about 30 mins, the lady was in and out and that was outrageously priced for a quick wax. And they wanted to charge an extra 15 for 2 dif color nail polishes on my niece, wasnt even nail art. A lil ridiculous. This was my 2nd trip there as my 1st was a good experience. Never again.

I asked several times for square nails. They are round. My nail tech walked away and didn’t say a word while I waited for a different nail tech in the middle of a fill. They skipped me and took someone who was there after me. I asked why a fill and a color change was $105 I was told I don’t know It just is. It added up to $85. Nail tech Caused a scene at the register I paid and left saying I’m not going to argue with anybody. Over priced and unprofessional.

I went into the establishment for a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was fine. The manicure was not fine the technician dug a little too deep on my right middle finger. This caused an infection that has lasted now 16 days. There is a hard month on the side of my finger that I squeeze every morning and pus comes out of it. And the finger next to it the index finger appears to have become misshapen and have fungus under it. I went back to the salon and explain the situation and she told me that I should have come back the day after it happened Ive been treating it at home myself because Im a nurse. She said that its not an infection that my cuticles are just tender and that there was nothing that she could do for it because some people just have tender cuticles. I will never go to the salon again.

They were very nice!!!and super clean! I would worn you bring cash bc the charger your card extra for more tax! But overall very good❤️

Staff member was congested and constantly coughing and had mask well below her nose. Repeatedly jerked my legs and feet uncomfortably during pedicure. Manager very pushy asking for further services while pedicure was being done. A lot more expensive than other neighborhood spas. Very uncomfortable experience. Will not return.

I was very disappointed. I was rushed out before my nails dried. The nail person did not use enough quick dry. The person doing my nails had on acrylics, kept scratching me even with gloves on! Needed something quick-what a disappointment😒

I love it here. Never had a bad experience. Just bring cash... no biggie walked In at 2:10 they closed at 3, still took me. They were taking customers all the way up til 245. They understand you and you can most certainly understand the techs.

I received a gel set here that was done sloopy for 59 dollars. the woman who did my nails didnt tell me it would be so much. I paid 35 dollars a previous time I came so I didnt understand why it was so much. I wouldnt mind paying that much if the set was done better. I have what looks like glue all over my hands as well. I wouldnt recommend going to this location. Ive had gel done for much cheaper and it came out better. Woman sucked her teeth and complained throughout the entire set. Very poor service.

As others have said here, the customer service here is terrible. I had been a long-time customer. I always had decent manicures and pedicures, although I always felt that the owner was, if not rude, at best abrupt. I went in for a gel manicure recently and within a week, one nail had chipped off significantly (more than half) and 3 others had noticeable chips. Ive never ever had a gel manicure that didnt last 3 weeks. I called and told them I needed a redo and the woman who answered said they couldnt take me that day (please note again that it been only 7 days) but made an appointment for me for the following day. When I walked in and talked to Gina, the owner, told me the manicure was only guaranteed for 7 days. No matter that I called on the 7th day and tried to get in. She was extremely rude and dismissive. The manicurist who did my manicure (who happens to be Ginas daughter) was right there and wouldnt even look at me. We had had a nice rapport during the manicure so I dont know if she was embarrassed by her ungracious mother or just being rude herself. I would never go back here and I highly recommend going up the street just a bit to Rejuvinex, a much, much nicer salon with super nice staff. I believe he gel manicure is about the same price...possibly even a bit less.

This place was horrible. They treated me as if I was a animal. They didn’t think I knew how to speak their language but I understood everything. They are horrible people no respect.

My 12 year old niece and three of her friends got gel manicures today. When she returned home she told me the owner asked her how much money she had before she started her nails. When finished, the same woman told her it would be 35 dollars plus a mandatory $5 tip totaling $40. I disagree with charging a mandatory tip and feel as though it was overpriced for what she got.

The interior leads you to believe this will be a higher end experience. However - the wait time is always excessive even when you have booked an appointment. More problematic is the rough treatment and poor quality of work. My acrylics broke regularly (2-3 nails between 2 week appointments, with gel polish on them.) and I do not work in a rough profession. To fix the broken nails they roughly ripped the acrylic coating off my nail with no soaking. My nails hurt for days afterwards, and I was made fun of for wincing. Fills with gel coat between $55 - $70 every 2 weeks, making this quality inexcusable.The reviews mentioning the bad attitudes and rudeness are not inaccurate, though that would not bother me if the quality was there.

WARNING: Dont Go here. Was ripped off and will never go back.1. Had to wait and hour (initially told 15 minutes, then another 15 minutes....until it was an hour)2. Asked for a fill which says *Gel powder fill $30, and at the end they charged me $50 +$10 credit card fee. So $60 total for a basic fill.Compared to other salons in the area $30-$35/fill +gel its a rip off and not worth it. Read the rest of the reviews, many had the same experience.

My finger is infected from where she cut it during my manicure. Also filed under my nail, lifting it up, and then blamed me for having my nails be too short. My whole experience here was uncomfortable. Would 1000% never come back. There are also spots that I can see through the polish of my gel manicure. There are zero redeeming qualities for this place.

They upcharge without telling you the price will change. They charge ten dollars on a childs manicure too use two different colors. Staff is nice owner is rude and cocky. Over charges. She chatged.me 140 dollars more than what I owed and when I broke it down and priced it in front of her she claimed upcharges. Even with her upcharges the bill was still 140 less. She told me she added gratitude of twenty percent for each technicians and thats why it was more. Hmmm 140 for 3 techs. I paid cash because she insisted I go take it out and shed give me a discount. She literally tried to pull one over my eyes.

I went into this nail salon with my wife and 2 daughters. The minute we walked in, she yelled you pay in cash... cash only Very uprofessional and rude. The owner was ignorant and made nasty comments about my children. She will the proceed to talk in another language laughing. Who wants a pedicure and to be verbally abused??? There are plenty of nail salons, why would anyone go to this one. Dont let this woman abuse you. She is nasty!

Gina does not know what customer service is. she talks about you and your nails openly in front of everyone.

This place is very overpriced and almost always has a long wait. I definitely will not be coming back. you can get the exact same mani/pedi or acrylic nails anywhere else for cheaper.

They are very rude. When they asked how could they help me. I told them what I wanted. Started barking price. They told me what they were going to do. Bad customer service. I have attempted twice.

Extremely rude and condescending. Names one price then, gives another price once youre done (saw this happen twice while getting pedicure done), and the polish started chipping the next day! Dont waste your time or money there!

Over charged almost double the price of what a standard gel pedicure would cost as listed online. I was not well attended to. Staff didnt reveal the extra charges and waited over me to receive a tip at the end after charging my card, it felt very uncomfortable. My friend who was with me was also charged additional fees for her full gel set that were not transparent.

This place was twice the cost of any place in the area. There was no special treatment, and they were really slow. I went one time when I first moved to the area, and I will never go back.

I got gel and it came off in a week, I made an appointment but didn’t leave for 2 hours because they started me late, one lady is very rude, 3 of my nails were bleeding, very overpriced. I will not be going back.

Literally the worst experience Ive ever had. Supremely rude manager when I came to complain about my chipping nails AFTER ONE DAY. They blamed it on the quality of the paint... which they choose to use. The woman started wagging her finger in my face and yelling about how everyone knows to not get a regular manicure because they dont last as long as gel... but they SHOULD last more than one day. Im appalled at the unprofessionalism at this salon and will not return. If I could getgive zero stars I would! 👿
