The laundry rooms are out of water for the most of times, they never fix anything and they dont even bother to put a notice. You will never know if you can get your clothes washed until you pay the machine and find there is no water. wasted me dozens of bucks. There is broken pipe leaking water on the grass outside for a month now, making a small pond in front of the building. The passage lights are broken across the community and for months the whole area is in the dark during night. Again, no one ever tried to fix these problems.

Ive lived at these apartments since the beginning of summer 2020, and have had a very mixed experience so far. What drew me to live here was the location and price, but this seemed to come at the sacrifice of quality. My air conditioner has been out nearly half a dozen times in the brief time I’ve lived here, which is especially critical as it can get into the mid 90s during the summer and fall. Even now in the winter it gets in the upper 70s. Although the complex is willing to send maintenance, the response time is usually slow, and the repair can sometimes take days. In interim, they have hooked up a portable unit a couple of times while they repair, but this feels like patchwork for a system that obviously needs replacing. As I type this, my AC just went out again.Maintenance has been kind and as helpful as they can given the circumstances, but they have also failed to wear masks when entering my apartment during a pandemic which is not great. Finally many dog owners fail to pick up their poop, leading to a nasty smell and questions of how sanitary the complex is. It’s definitely dangerous for pet owners as dog poop can carry lots of pathogens, which can spread to other dogs or even to people as they can step on it and bring it inside their homes. While I do appreciate the pricing, and the staff has been nice, I find it difficult to live here and would have a hard time recommending others do the same.

So most of the Google reviews are over 6 months old. Let me give you a recent rundown of my experiences at Country Place. I moved here May 2020, sight unseen, from WA state so I could attend University & try for a fresh start. Management at the time sold me on my unit with photos of the model unit, assuring me mine was similar. Hah! Similar in the loosest sense of the word. Upon move-in, there was a laundry list of problems, from a sticky lock to obvious water damage in multiple locations. But I had to make due. Maintenance cleared up the little issues the day after move in, but my son & I have spent the course of the following year battling a leaky roof which then leaked through the ceiling onto my computer desk and little has been done to rectify the problem. The laundry facilities have been worthless most of the year with leaking or broken machines. Most of the exterior lights do not turn on correctly or at all. And every time there is a heavy rain (which has been frequent), rain water pools at the bottom of the stairs to my unit, creating a hazard from having to wade through inches of water while carrying my little dog so she doesnt get soaked, or having to maneuver to a dry spot on the rocks by grasping onto the corner of the building and leaping. But it isnt just my unit having problems with leaks. Many have leaks. There are broken or clogged gutters and/or drainspouts, making the rain water pour over the sides of the buildings. Some siding has rotted and is about to fall off. Even the roof over the office has a tarred-over tarp keeping the rain out. Fixes like that (and the other masking repairs) would never fly in a WA multi-family complex. It should be done right, not patched or masked. That is just poor management because over time the costs will be much higher in total than doing it right the first time. The first few months we were here, hardly aany tenants picked up after their dogs & the place stunk to high heaven. It has gotten a little better but still many landmines to look out for. The landscaping is poorly planned and maintained. Why keep flower beds if the flowers keep dying and nobody weeds them? Just put in a simple rock ggarden or something. Torget about affordable utility bills. The windows arent insulated & the entry doors have gaps that let in drafts and heat.T So much potential for quality living close to University, but they cut too many corners and have dug themselves so deep that the property may never recover. Oh & BTW, I had no choice but to renew my lease and they increased my rent 9.4%!!! Outrageous!

I love living here! I have been here a year in a half and dont see myself leaving for a long time. Maintenance staff takes care of problems pretty fast and are a great group of guys. The managers at the leasing office care about the community. They will answer any questions you have and take care of the people who live here with a smile. They also live on site. The pool is great. I love the gym. Laundry rooms on site as well. They have a lot of different lay outs. Communication between the office and residents is good. Even security guard who drives the parking lot at night. Great distance to campus. I would and have recommended this place to people and will keep doing so!

Quiet area, well lit at night (College Main St has street lights as far as the eye can see and is a nice walk) and grocery stores/entertainment is just a 5 minute drive. Complex is mostly college students who are gone most of the day and never saw anyone loud or rowdy. Management is friendly and maintenance workers are quick to get your squeaky door fixed or handle broken blinds or whatever is needed. Nice pool and a small gym as well—both not usually occupied but are kept clean and easily accessible. Pet friendly as well, which is a huge plus

Most unfriendly, unhelpful and rude staff Ive ever met. If possible avoid renting at this place. Every time you ask theyll quote a different price and change things without letting you know beforehand. The apartments do look pleasent from the outside, but dont think its worth the effort to talk with these people and stay in such a place.

I lived here for about a year and it was perfectly quiet and kept very clean. The staff was super friendly and honestly I dont have anything I can complain about really. They are pet friendly so if you have a sweet dog you can totally take them to the front office to love on.Im not really sure what all the other questionable reviews are about but they seem a bit long winded and hard to read so if youve made it this far... Its nice, cheap, quiet, pet friendly and the staff is super agreeable and are willing to work with you if life happens lol go check them out.

DONT TAKE THIS APARTMENT. THEY WILL SCREW YOUR CREDIT RECORD!!!I lived here 2 yrs back. They never sent us any form of notice of outstanding bill. They created a document for $70 after we moved out and sent it to collection agency. After 2 years, I got a hit in my credit score saying I have an outstanding bill for not cleaning the walls, fan etc.Above that, they gave a fake address to the collection agency so that we cant be directly notified. I got notified through my credit card that a collection agency is involved with my account. Its not just me, I read through their reviews in Google and Yelp, they have been doing this for a while on several tenants. When I asked them why they gave a fake address to the collection agency, they asked me to file a dispute with a collection agency. The collection agency asked me to talk to leasing office. I am like stuck in between with a screwed up credit report.

I lived here a couple years ago. The apartment community is quiet and in an amazing location. However, the apartments are pretty outdated. I lived at Country Place Apartments for 4 years during my undergrad studies & it was the most quietest, least expensive, pet friendly, commuter friendly apartments. My neighbors around me were really friendly & quiet. The staff was great, especially the fun holiday parties they would throw for the residents with special prizes! Maintenance was always on top of work orders that were put in no matter what time of the day or day of the week. Very affordable living compared to living elsewhere. Ive never had any issues during my 4 years of living there. The apartments are getting upgraded to cost efficient appliances now & hardwood floors. Again, very quiet area to live at & a short distance to the bus stop/A&M campus/Northgate. There are laundry facilities on site so its conveniently close no matter what building you are living in. The staff notifies residents when packages get received that are too large for the mailboxes & that can be via email or text, which is very convenient! I definitely recommend living here if you are searching for a cost efficient, quiet, least expensive apartment in the Bryan/College Station area.

I lived in this apartment for 3 years and I liked it a lot. Its one of the good apartment at a reasonable price located in the college main area. The management was also good at that time, they were very prompt on their maintenance. The apartment is located on the bus route and you can walk also from there to college. It will take hardly 10 mins.

What are drip pans, and why am I being charged over $100 for them being dirty, when moving out? Whatever, I guess. there are huge gapping cracks around the window and door seals. Say goodbye to your electric bill money. I actually installed my own rubber sealing on the door so that I wouldnt feel random gusts of cold wind at my table. The management is reasonably nice. If you like submitting 2 or 3 work orders before something gets done, this should be a great place to check out. Leaking A/C units that will soak your entire hallway, which no maintenance workers will bother with your maintenance request.... Until your downstairs neighbor complains there is a leak in their apartment. However, for as cheap as the rent was, i will kill for it again. However, the rent has no choice but to be cheap because student in the area cant afford more. No reasonably paying jobs in the area either.

I had given it four stars previously and this was my review If you get a renovated apartment, it is good. Staff are friendly. The gym is quite useful.I am changing my review based on my friends experience. He was a tenant at country place couple of years back and is now going through a horrible situation because of the irresponsibility of the staff over there. He never missed a payment but two years after vacating he had a really bad hit on his credit report because he did not pay a $70 cleaning fees which he was never informed of. The collection agency is having a random address in their book for him even though his roommate provided a new address while vacating. He was never contacted electronically. He has been in touch with the county place staff ever since and the responses are pretty much rude and evasive. A bad credit score and credit report affect your credibility in this country and if the country place management cannot take the responsibility of their actions, it shows that they are in this business just for money.

These apartments are very old and could use renovating on each apartment separately instead of some. It is a very quiet environment and everyone around pretty much keeps to themselves. There is often a few issues with water pipes. The front office frequently sends out emails about those issues. Ms. Jennifer is nice and Tiandrea was the best ! (So sad that she left) but i ran into an issue towards the end of my lease. My package from USPS stated delivered and also stated that it would be in the “front office, mail room, receptionist desk”. I asked the office where my package was and they had no clue. They said that they even went through their records of mail because they keep records of every package that comes through the office and it wasn’t even in the system. After that, i contacted USPS and they gave me every bit of evidence that they delivered my package to this place. They have pictures of my item, location/GPS tracking and everything else that says that they delivered it to the receptionist desk. USPS also reassured me that if the receptionist would have declined then my package would have been brought back to the facility and i would have been notified. I have never had an issue with packaging being delivered or stolen from this apartment complex until now that they are under new management/employment. I would hope that that is not the case but it is the only reasonable explanation. I do not understand if packaging is always recorded then why doesn’t the apartment complex records add up with the USPS records. I just want my items. It is very valuable and expensive! I didn’t want to take it this far but no one is taking me seriously in this case but the police. The apartment isn’t even trying to find a solution or help me to protect their name.

This is an older property, which should be taken into consideration;- cracks in sidewalk, established trees which drop acorns EVERYWHERE, etc..But dang, management really knows how to treat residents, I arrived a day early on my move-in date and was given every ounce of understanding from Jennifer. The apartment itself is very sharp and modern; the property is seasoned but the interiors are completely redesigned. I have an open floor plan with excellent mood lighting and even better appliances. So many chill neighbors who helped me during move-in, ags at their finest.Check this place out, Im sure theyll cut you a deal if you ask

I loved living at Country Place and it was so quiet. I lived here all through graduate school (years) and had no issues. The unit i lived in faced College Main. In those units, youll of course hear cars driving by and on Friday and Saturday nights, maybe the occasional drunken person but thats it. I never heard my neighbors or anything. I thought the staff was friendly (I mean, you just get packages from them). Youre half a mile from campus (I just walked to campus everyday). The population seemed like a lot of graduate students and some families. Maintenance addressed issues the same day every time except once (not a big issue on that one). The pool was well kept (dont expect to swim laps). They got the gym a year or so before I moved out and I thought it was nice, but I mostly just went on runs around the area. The area is also really safe. The complex and streets around it are well lit. I would go on runs anywhere from 9pm to 2am and never felt in any danger. I think since it was so close to Northgate, there was a lot of foot traffic and cops. I never appreciated the complex until I moved out to a new complex (different city for a job). Now, you are going to live in an older complex and the cost is great! Dont expect to live in a luxury condominium because youre not. I actually moved in so long ago that I dont know if some of my appliances were ever updated until I moved out (maintenance thought I may have had the oven from when the complex was built). It is a great place to live and I had no issues for the 7+ years I lived there. Wish I still lived at Country Place.

Place is decent at best. It was built 20 years ago and you can absolutely tell. Besides one woman, the staff is anal all of the time. The grounds crew has keys to your apartment, so when youre not home they will post bills and flyers from the office inside your place. The water lines broke 3 times while I was a resident. The rent was too high for the value of the place. The ac unit is ancient. In fact, the only positive thing about this place is the location relative to campus and northgate. Try to avoid at all costs; only consider it IF its your last resort.

Sooo... let me give y’all the run down. I just moved in here two days ago on 6/29.. they let me move into a unit with a broke air conditioner. I called the office and when maintenance came they said that they had fixed the unit Tuesday and it broke again wednesday and they fixed it. They said they left it on Thursday and Friday and it was good and Friday management walked the complex and turned the ac off. So .. I payed a pro rated rent of $57 and some change.. for the two days before the 1st which is today. Maintenance said they’d fixed it FIRST thing Monday ( today) and it still isn’t fixed. I haven’t even stayed here because it’s so HOT. The thermostat reads a reading of 85 degrees and it was 90 the other days. The officer manager told me this morning that they were working on it. It’s yet to be fixed. imagine moving from Houston into a unit where it was KNOWN to have AC issues and having to get a hotel for two nights ( spending extra money) because I have a two year old some who has Asthma and can’t be in heat for too long. I went to the office a while ago and the staff showed no emotion or concern that we were experiencing these issues. if I could I sign my lease I would. My friend who referenced me to this apartment told me that when she moved in her AC was broken for 4 days before being fixed. (Btw she told me after I had moved in after I explained what happened). So no I do not recommend this apartment complex. I wish Teandria ( previous staff member) was still here. She cared about the residents and was very apologetic when instances like this happened. no one moves with a sense of urgency... please weigh your options before settling.

Pretty Bad experience, I was charged with exorbitant damage and maintenance fees after moving out, although the apartment was in no need of repairs, on top of that I was never informed about the charges and the account was handed straightaway to a collection agency who messed up my credit history and pretty much affected all my future financial investments. After living there for about 6 years, I can say that its a pretty enjoyable place to live. Its always quiet which is great for studying. The exception would be when a plane or train passes nearby (which isnt that loud except for military aircraft). The office staff are pleasant to talk to. Also, the maintanence staff are pretty responsive whenever you have to turn in a repair order. The latest addidtion of a workout room was also plus. The only thing I have not enjoyed about the apartments is the washer machines tend to break down on occasion (but theres more than one, so you can still do laundry. just figure out the least crowded time slot) and the recent paint job. Dark grey and neon green/orange isnt very country like.

My dtr lived in in this complex - eight months after moving out we received a notice and a bill for theoretic damages to the apartment -( the stove was not clean enough and the bathroom was dirty)According to the Texas Property Code, Section 92, the landlord is required to provide a written claim on property damage within 30 days after the tenant relinquishes the key - we have not received any such notice. Yet we received a bill from a collections agency and threats to our credit score. I believe Country Place management has a scam going where they attempt to collect money from former tenant. We need to stop this practice. It is illegal. I will fight for our rights

I lived there for 2 years and it was the worst. During that time the water was shut off without warning at least 7 different occasions for several hours! There were times we would get BROWN WATER! Also the bath tube would clog all the time because they use CHEAP paint on their tubs which flakes and makes it impossible to clean! After I left they charged me for damages that were pre-existing which I notified them in writing as stated in the contract, however they lost the form and now I have to pay or else theyll notify the credit bureau. And Ill not that there were always sirens going off in the middle of the night because its so close to North Gate. The price is not worth it, with a little research youll find a better place for a lesser cost like I didGood Luck

Stayed here for 21 months as a student. Place is quite and has plenty of parking space, but apart from that this place is run by HORRIBLE individuals. In my 11 years of apartment stay I never encountered a worst place like this before. This is the first time I am taking time to review a APT so that others can avoid it. I am a really quiet and peaceful person. I probably had about 3-4 minor maintenance requests during the entire stay and it will take a week or sometimes multiple reminding to fix things like low water pressure and toilet flush etc. They will have always some excuse and will ignore you if you are a INTERNATIONAL STUDENT. Also, after 4 months I moved out of there they billed me $250 for cleaning APT when I left it really clean (wouldnt have bothered to clean it all day if I knew they will bill me anyway no matter what). I signed 9 months lease after a initial 1 yr because I was graduating and didnt wanted the hassle of moving, BUT IT IS MY HONEST ADVICE THAT THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COST. FYI, when you go to sign the lease initially Tony and her assistant will be really nice, but afterwards they act worse. As an Asian International students I have given my honest opinion. Check other reviews before you rent this worst place.Thanks.

I really wish I could rate it 3 1/2So, its basically what youd expect. Its an old apartment complex, there is history to it here. I really like the feel, its also really nice to live alone. This neighborhood has its ups and down. For ups, I feel pretty safe. Every other night a patrol truck passes by. There arent many shady people coming in or out. Most of the people here are just international graduate college students. The neighbors are mostly friendly, I see people go out for nightly strolls. There are some families that live here, you can see kids playing outside sometimes. Its close to campus, so thats another plus. I bike to class every day and I also get to bike back home late at night not having to worry about the distance.I really wish I could rate it 3 1/2As for the negative side,I was not really expecting this, but I got bedbugs for a good 2 1/2 months. I talked to the front desk and they sent a really good exterminator who sprayed 4 times during the course of a month. This sucked because I had to keep everything in plastic bags and I was sleeping on an inflatable bed in my living room. The hot water system isnt as good as other places. Due to the fact that this place is old, i get it. But some days, when you really want hot water, it just isnt there. You can hear the neighbors. Its not the worst, but they are there to remind you that you arent living completely alone. And finally.... The Train. Depending on where you live here, you will hear the train roar every day, every night, every hour.Overall, i liked it for my first semester junior year. The location, the staff, and the living is all enjoyable (now that the bed bugs are gone)
