Homes are in need of service and repair and they either will not fix them or will not fix them in a timely manner. They no longer handled touch up painting, so if your home needs painting prior to you moving in, too bad. My walls are covered in scratches/marks/patches. For a 3 year old home, it looks like wild animals and children have been destroying walls for 10 years. I’ve been stuck using one side of my sink, smelling rotten food, having food/water backup with standing water in my sink for two weeks. They canceled a service appointment 15 minutes before the appointment with no reschedule date and no date of when they will address the problem. For the money I am paying, I should not be sitting on maintenance requests for weeks at a time.

Karla was acting like a professional and trying to answer my many questions. With site unseen, it is difficult to rent anything. I did ask if it was a non-smoking establishment. I also asked if it was sprayed for insects or bugs. She did not know the answers to those two questions, but said that shed find out. It may not have been in her literature that she received about her job. Truthfully, and I dont think its Karlas culpa, but I dont feel as if I have enough information to apply for this apartment.Edit: Karla did find out the information and related it to me. That was very nice and responsible of her to do that.

Answers late and makes everything hard. My application has been pending more than a week.I have been talking to 3 people, Karla was amazing and she’s trying to help me because she knows Erica scothorne and Meagan walker are not doing their job.I’m disappointed.

I have recently needed to find a new rental unexpectedly. I applied for a property and was approved within 2 days- they allowed someone else to sign a lease on the property the same day I was approved and then offered me options either 1000$ OVER my budget and 700$ MORE than what they approved me for. Extremely bad business- now I have no options and 100$ less in my pocket for a application fee and still nowhere to live.

- [ ] Our lease was up January 31st. We told them we had plans to renew. We were told on January 15th that the owner decided to sell the property and we had until February 15th to get out. But if we stayed past January 31st we would be charged a FULL MONTH of rent of staying 15 days in February. They gave us 15 DAYS to get out and have everything cleaned. They have been nothing but a hassle to deal with. Everything has been terrible since Everest took over from GK Houses. Not to mention it takes 6 weeks to get your deposit back when you move. I would not recommend to anyone. They have caused nothing but stress and anxiety. And the fact they had the audacity to ask me to leave a 5 star review is why I spoke my piece. DO NOT RECOMMEND
