Wow!! Amazing is and understatement. I just moved here from another state, and the place that did my transmission didnt do ot right , so the drive here was scary . I found buckys, and not only were they super kind , he stayed past closing to get my car done for me , and was good at explaining the things that were wrong.I seriously cannot recommend a better or nicer place . Buckys is pretty great. I had an oil leak that was a pretty penny to fix. I got a very fair deal. I also got some electrical issues done at the same time my oil leak got fixed. What I like about this place is that they do everything. After me dropping the money I did to get my car fixed the manager said, welcome to the family, your first oil change here is on the house. And they gave me a full synthetic oil change when I got my oil leaked fixed which I really like because I dont have to worry about it for a very long time and when I actually do need an oil change its going to be free. I also have three kids who I brought with me and John the manager gave them all toy monster trucks. If I ever have any issues with my vehicle I will definitely return.

It was very clear that John at Buckys knew what he was doing. He took his time to explain what was wrong with my car using terms that I would understand, was transparent throughout the entire process, updated me when necessary, and gave me tips on how to prevent the issue from arising again. Work was also done within a day or two, which totally beat the dealership scheduling a month and a half out.Most importantly, I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of or spoken down to as a woman needing help with her car. I felt respected and the staff treated me like a competent adult, which is more than I can say for other mechanics. I highly reccomend.

They have good service and doable prices

We had a last minute issue with our brakes before we headed across the country, and they were able to get our car in the next day and fix the issues as well as change our transmission fluid. We have a VW, and the transmission fluid for VWs is expensive. Weve had garages try to scam us before on the price of it, but Buckys gave us the price we KNEW it was going to be, and that alone confirmed for us that these guys were honest. We so appreciate their hard work and ability to fix our issues! Were currently in South Dakota still traveling, and our car (and the brakes) are working great!

This Buckys looked into a power drain on my battery for me. Found it was the alternator. They then tried to convince me that replacing the alternator and batter on my 2015 Honda fit would cost $1500.00. They said that even the Honda Dealer was charging $1200 for the part. I just called the Honda dealership. They are charging $578 for the alternator. I found it refurbished on rock auto for $115. Needless to say I did not let them install the alternator. Do not trust this mechanic.

I went to Bucky’s because my car had a missing bolt and John and Harry took a look at it even though they were already closed. They put a temporary bolt on until they could get some in. Called on a busy Saturday afternoon for issues with my headlights. They made time to see me and help figure out what was wrong. It was a quick fix and I was on my way.

My mom and I went in about a check engine message in her black BMW station wagon. A nice gentlemen named John kindly took the time to check it out during a busy time, and he was so patient and polite with us front to back. We couldnt have asked for a nicer guy! Ended up here once because it was close by and turned out to be a great shop! Been coming here for all my car mechanic needs. These people are great and really helpful. Whether explaining what needs to be done, or even letting me know what are simple fixes I could do on my own. Had to drop my car off one evening after work and one of the guys gave me a ride home. Just got my alternator changed and they were able to get me in and out before closing. Its tough sometimes when I have a small window after work before they close. After my trucks oil pan was ruined by Jiffy Lube and all (6 quarts) of oil leaked out into my driveway, I went to this Buckys and explained my situation. They took my truck and dealt with Jiffy Lube, who was very reticent to own up to their shoddy service. They handled all the nonsense from Jiffy Lube and focused on the correct repair to get my truck back to functional. I will always return to this Buckys! Special shout out to John as well who replaced my pan and showed me the damaged oil pan to illustrate the issue!

I had an AMAZING experience at Bucky’s. After being ripped off various times while trying to get my running light fixed at other places, these guys were honest and so helpful, not to mention affordable. As a young female I am hesitant about getting my car fixed but this wasn’t the case at all. I would come back here in a heart beat. The manager, Damian, was so kind and respectful and was understanding for my situation. Highly recommend this place over anywhere in Bremerton!!

My car started having trouble today around 1pm. Called Bucky’s and they said the could get it in first thing Monday morning. Had my husband drive it there today before it wasn’t able to drive anymore. Next thing I knew my husband was getting a call about what was wrong and how much it was to fix it. They told us it would be ready around 3:30-3:45. We headed out so we would be there by 3:30. We got a call as soon as we were leaving our drive away updating us on our car and letting us know everything was right on schedule. When we arrived at the shop my car was waiting for me. This was by far the best service I have ever received! Damian was amazing and saved the day! I will definitely choose Bucky’s as my go to from now on! It definitely is better than our Ford dealership I usually go to!!! Thanks to everyone at Bucky’s for saving my day!

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Heard Damien was now managing this shop so made the switch because he is as honest as they come. I’ve taken all my cars to him over the past several years for minor and major repairs. Called to see if they were able to diagnose an issue i was having with my BMW and he said it wouldn’t be a problem. Quick diagnoses, timely repair and fair pricing. Went in today right before they closed and saw Damian. He fixed my console control within five minutes of being there. After a year of being without my radio, navigation, AC, everything... it was so nice being able to blast the radio with the windows down. Felt like a teenager again. Definitely going back to get my belt fixed (went in at closing) as he suggested after I told him it was squeaky. Gave me a fair price and was honest with what needed to be done. I had my brake pads and rotors changed by midas on Callow three years ago and I had to keep going back because they were sloppy and noisy. After the 5th time I gave up and just lived with them. Last week I took my van in for an oil change at Buckys on 6th and Callow. They found the brakes were already down to almost metal. I only had put 14,000 miles on them. I had Bucky replace them since I am really tired of the BS at Midas. The brakes feel and work great. I had a little old lady walk right out in front of me. My van stopped fast saving her life and me the hassle of hitting someone. I know my van never would have stopped in time with the old brakes on.

Came in at 8 am to get my brakes done. They were worse than what I thought. Damien at the counter was super nice and helpful. Gave me a few options that works work for my budget and even made phone calls for me so that I didnt have to drive more than I had to. Came back in with parts needed so that they could get me back on the road and started working on my vehicle right away. Im going to be back for sure for all repairs and oil changes.

Very poor quality of work. Would not trust them with my vehicle again. They improperly installed my brakes causing them to smoke and burn up and tightened a lug nut to the point where it could not be removed without breaking it off. Military discount didn’t even cover the value of parts they broke while trying to fix my car and I ended up having to get the brakes redone.

Great mechanic shop- knowledgeable, friendly, honest and fair price. I will be returning here with my Ford van.

By far the best shop I’ve found in the Kitsap area. They are honest and get the work done fast, and properly. Not to mention there prices and time it takes them to get the work done is unbeatable. Being away from home I have a very hard time trusting people to even touch my 2 Lincoln Mark VIII’s. Billy and Damion have always been straight forward and honest with me, they treat me like family rather than just a customer and treat my cars as if they were there own. I had been told by a tire shop that I needed all new brakes this holiday season when I stopped in for a low tire. The quote was ridiculous. Took my Prius into Buckys and not only were they priced very reasonably, they told me that my rear brakes had a lot of life on them and I could keep that cash in my pocket and spend it elsewhere this Christmas. Buckys is under new management! I absolutely love the new manager Damien and the new crew. They helped me with a wonky headlight, told me how to avoid the issue in the future, and checked my other lights for free. They even replaced my taillight for free so that I wasnt driving around without it while awaiting my recall appointment with the Subaru dealership.

Buckeys was awesome!! The manufacturers for my transmission tried to be complicated and Buckeys was ready to fight for me! After it was all said and done, I was short about $60 or so and they just discounted me the $60!! Awesome mechanic shop, quality work, and they dont charge u to death. Talk to Damien or Billy.

I am greatly satisfied with my experience here. I went in for an oil change and asked that they check my brakes, and it turned out my front brakes were in dire condition. I set an appointment and when they were done they deducted what I spent on the oil change from the price of the brake job. I have found my go-to shop!

Just brought my Subaru Outback into the Buckys off of Callow in Bremerton to check out my squeaking breaks. Not only were the quick and courteous but when they let me know that the squeaking wasnt a safety hazard, they didnt even charge me for the labor. He just said next time you have a car issue, come to us. I appreciate that they value customer loyalty. I will definitely keep going to them.

The manager Damien is the best mechanic around! We have been takin our cars to Damien for over ten years and he is alway honest, loyal, and provides the best service/price around kitsap county! The manager Damion cussed me out over the phone and charged 300 for a battery and diag. We only wanted the battery tested. He also thinks irs okay to cuss our customers. I asked for the corporate number. And he gave me the wrong number. So how the BBB and Attorney Gen is involved.

They need a zero star option, I took my car in for a blown head gasket replacement, the total spent $2100.00 for head gasket and some more parts and repairs “added to it” , took over a week and half, i was outraged and disappointed of a horrible job that was done on my car and the incompetence of this shop. it ran way worse after they were done then before bringing it in, then tried to lie and say it ran like that when i brought it in, they told me my car was done, when to go pick it up, barely would run, idle then die, huge clouds of smoke from tail pipe, the steering was making a loud squealing noise now , which wasn’t before bringing it to them, which they didn’t wanna take responsibility for any of it and they told me to just drive it around then come back later if it still running the same way, a car that would barely run, that would stall and die, after saying no and them looking at again, 3 days later they said it was one thing, then something else then it was finally something that was gonna cost $1300.00 in more repairs (which was wrong and just throwing money at parts) , i finally picked it up and took it to a different automotive repair shop, who pin pointed exactly what was wrong and fixed the problem, in which the problem was caused by buckys failure of installing things back correctly and breaking parts , now i have to pay for their failure and negligence of my vehicle cause i know they won’t honor their “warranty” when they tried to pass me off a car that wasn’t finished or repaired correctly and was told “this is just how cars are.” When i know cars....Save your time and money, go some where else. So they don’t mess up your vehicle and you end up spending tons of money. They may be in proceedings to a civil suit court case.

I had a #3 cylinder misfire on my 2000 Toyota Echo and couldnt figure out why. I called Joe at Buckeys and he told me to bring it in so, I did. Holy Moly! Found out it was my ignition coil and not my greatest fear, a dead cylinder due to a broken piston or something. These guys had my car in the air, ordered the part and it was delivered in 15 minutes. I also ordered a lube oil and filter change. They had my car running within one hour of me bringing it in. These guys know their stuff. Thanks, guys! I highly reccommend Buckeys to anyone .

I called them to get an adapter, and they tried to sell me a bunch of things I didnt need, and wasted my time on the phone while trying to get me to come down. After questioning them like a lawyer, it turned out they didnt have the item I was after. Probably best to avoid them.

Don’t ever go to this place! I went there few years ago for free engine check up and it turns out my car not starting at all and of course Buckys said if you want your car to be check I have to pay and I don’t know anything about engine and when I called my wanna be mechanic friend it turns out they just pull one of the spur plug so lesson learn buckys on Callow will ripping you off!!!

After I changed my own brakes they quit working correctly. I took my car here and they got it back in working order expeditiously and at a good price!

Great service and staff to fix my car quick and easy

The customer service was absolutely horrible. I brought my 2015 jeep in for an oil change October 26 2017. They complained about my tag, and they complained about the oil filter being too tight. All the while, they never changed my oil. I paid for the service I thought were rendered. Here it is November 16,2017. My oil change light is on and so is my engine light. I called the facility, they had yet another bad attitude when I brought the issue to their attention. They claimed they never reset the light. My vehicle automatically resets itself. After receiving a second opinion, my oil was never changed and neither was my oil filter. The buckys in bremerton on callow will never see my business again.

Had issues with my AC. Took it in and they charged me didn’t do anything to fix it but told me it was full of Freon and the compressor was good. Couldn’t get it to work so I took it to the dealership and they said the compressor was bad and the accumulator had a leak...not sure what these ppl do to be mechanics.
