My car stalled on Monday & I had it towed to them. They said soonest they could look was Thursday but they got to it immediately & I was able to pick my car up Wednesday morning. Super fast & super kind. They kept me in the loop with every step. Definitely recommended!

Needed diagnostics on Check Engine Light. Moved to Bremerton 7 years ago and have been very disappointed with Customer Service and overall Work Ethics in every area of professional services. My observations of this Bremerton business were over-the-top business ethics and customer service. This will definitely be my ‘go to’ for all future automotive services. Front man, Derek, keeps it all above board and efficiently professional. Very impressed.

We go there with our two older cars for regular oil changes and all other auto care. Its better if you make an appointment as they can be busy. Each time they repaired whatever was necessary and the cost wasnt extraordinary. Weve had breaks replaced, belts replaces, AC recharged and other general maintenance.

I came in a half hour early, and thats when they started. Staff was courteous and accommodating. I was told my rotors were shot and needed replacing. Was a little surprised at the cost, but taking into consideration that my car has 90K miles on it and this is the first brake job Ive had done, it wasnt unrealistic. The last brake job I had was on my previous vehicle which was not all wheel drive. Over time, everything goes up in price and vehicle maintenance is no exception. I would highly recommend the shop in East Bremerton! Theyre looking out for their customers best interest, not their own! Thank you!!!!

Had our brakes done. We had problems about six months later and thought it would be an issue. Instead, they happily took us in the next day, and they replaced everything at no charge to us! No fight and no questions asked! And the brakes are now just like they were when I drove the car off the lot 8 years ago. Amazing group there, would highly recommend

Do not go here. I came here to get a my get a hub fixed on my vehicle. 1 week later I have a valve tick on my engine. I towed it back to this shop and was quoted an outrageous price to have my entire engine replaced. I find it strange that I had a perfectly good running engine before this event.

Best shop experience Ive ever had on the west coast, the guys are honest about any problems they find (or dont if I thought there was a problem). Ive come here multiple times just to adk them to look over a new truck or check on an old one, and they always are thorough, accurate to their time estimates, and easy to understand

Great service! Brought Darrick and his team a 94 Chevy pickup which had not been run or maintained in years. They got it up and running like new, including replacing gaskets all over the pickup and repairing and flushing the brake system, letting me know what was going on every step of the way. Highly recommend!

I was there to do an oil change and get my tires checked. I like that they take pictures of everything they are doing on my car. My appt was at 0900 and I was out at 10:00. Bobby explained everything on the work sheet and things I needed to get checked and taken care of in the future. One of them was to make an appt for brake inspection asap. I did that! Replaced a supposed leaking radiator hose in my girl friends car that I hadn’t noticed was leaking till she took it into them for brake work. Then not long after low and behold the fitting they had to remove the hose from on the radiator was cracked and leaking. They wanted over $800 to replace something they more than likely broke and couldn’t originally diagnose correctly after she had been charged over $1400 dollars for the previous “service”. But hey they were willing to waive the coolant charge for her.

Honest and professional experience from Darrick and team. Needed brakes in front and rear of my van done and had sought a quote from another shop nearby who insisted the calipers also needed to be replaced while also leaving out some vital information.Meineke quoted me a fair price, was transparent about the inspection process (they text you pics as they go!) and were able to perform the work in two hours that same day, I was even able to get an oil change during the service. It was quite a bit less expensive as well. Not only will I take future brake maintenance to them but my future oil changes as well.

Took my vehicle in for a wheel alignment and oil change, I was told it would only take a couple of hours. I call when the car is supposed to be done for them to tell me they broke a bolt and are struggling to find a replacement bolt. More than 5 hours go by and it is finally done, making me 3 hours late to travel to work in Oregon. I asked for a discount since it took extremely longer than expected and they said well we didnt charge you for the labor of the bolt that THEY broke. I wasnt too upset as this point, but then within 5 miles of leaving the shop I realized that my car now has developed an uncontrollable swerve when taking right hand turns at 40mph+. The swerve was soo bad that most drivers would have probably crashed. I get back from my trip and take it back into the shop for them to inspect, they confirm the alignment with their machine and never test drove my vehicle. They tell me that it if I have any further issues to take it a body shop due to the amount of rust on the undercarriage. Fast forward 2 months I take it to another mechanic he notices the bolt they replaced and said this is your issue here. In the process of Meineke breaking the bolt and replacing it on the rear lower forward lateral control arm they blew out the bushing which was causing the uncontrollable swerving. I replaced the part myself and resolved the issue. I called and spoke with the manager to explain the horrible customer service and the neglect from his workers I had received. I then ask for a refund for the service performed on my vehicle and he tells me that corporate might not allow him to refund a measly $145 bill and that they also didnt charge me for the labor and bolt they replaced that THEY BROKE. He mentions that he will get back to me after he speaks with Corporate, it has now been over a week and I havent heard back from him. I have called and left several messages and am always told he will give me a call back. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and would never have been treated this way at Les Schwabs.I do not recommend this shop to anyone.

Darrick was able to find the problem and fix our car when other shops just tried to get us to throw money at it. He spent extra time making sure he had the right fix and was able to solve it at less cost than anyone else around. He’s the only mechanic in town we trust :)

Derrick and Don were awesome. Very straight forward as to what was recommended by the factory but honed in on what what should be top priority given my budget concerns. As a single female I am comforted knowing that these guys are very honest, and they dont do the high pressure stuff.

I took my car in for a $60 alignment on July 17th, 2020 at 11AM and was told it would take about an hour. I get a call over an hour later saying that they cannot do the alignment without fixing a bunch of other things that would ultimately cost $1800. I said no and told them I will just pick up my car without them doing anything. It drives back home fine (only a 5 minute drive) and I drive it again for only another 5 minutes after that. A few hours later, I drive it again and after about 3 minutes of driving, the wheel gets heavy like the power steering went out, the battery warning light came on, and the temperature gage goes all the way to the top. All things that have never happened before that moment.I have a friend that has been working on my car (he has the exact same one in which he replaced over half the engine so he knows exactly what everything under the hood and under the car should look like). I called him to come help me as I’m sitting on the side of the road and when he got there, he showed me a broken belt and a pulley that snapped off the engine. These things do not just happen. Especially when he has been working on the car for a month now and has checked those specific parts and said they’ve always looked perfectly fine. The pulley was missing a bolt that my friend was positive was there the last time he looked at it (only a couple days before taking it into your shop). My friend then had to go get new parts and replace them on the side of the road until it would run again.The only explanation for this is that somebody at your shop messed with the belt and the pulley to make a noise that would make me come back for repairs. This was almost detrimental to the engine of the car. The belt (the serpentine belt) connected to the alternator, water pump, and power steering which for an aluminum engine; could have completely destroyed it once breaking.Never going here again and considering a law suit

Great service. Cheap and friendly

Went to get brakes checked and they told me a bunch of things that weren’t true. They said my vehicle was “too dangerous to drive” but when my friends uncle looked at the brakes the front and rear brakes were completely fine but he replaced them anyways since it was already taken apart. Plus they said it would take 2 hours and we’re trying to charge 500$ for labor! Adding up to 1300$ total. These guys are scamming. Sad thing is my mom knows the owner, bet if he knew I was her son the price would’ve been different.

I went in a little early (about 15 minutes) and they saw me right away. They text messaged me with when they started, inspection report and repair order. The only thing that I was disappointed with is they gave me report but never reviewed with me so there were things I would of done to service car but wasnt aware of the issues until I got home. I assumed everything was okay bc nothing was said.

This shop is staffed with the best service techs in town. They continue to take care of our vehicles and the customer service is amazing. Bobby and Darrick are incredible and there was another gentleman doing the inspections whos name I did not get who was just as great as the test of the team. When I do not have the time to do myself the Bremerton Meineke by walmart is where I go.

Ive hear great things about this place so I set an appointment. They turned me away be cause I have a breathalyzer installed into my vehicle. I can understand some hesitate but there should be some type of work around so people dont get turned away for services they truly need. My past mistakes dont define me and shouldnt be discriminated against when you are doing the right thing to fix it.

I meant to post this a few months back , but back in March 2019 we spent over $1,000 replacing all our brakes and other things at Meineke . After a few months we started hearing a clicking noise when we would slow down , we thought nothing of it until it got louder . We finally took it to our mechanic to get looked at thinking it had something to do with our axel in May 2020. Our mechanic found that our front brakes were installed wrong by Meineke and had shifted so that only half of the pad was being used and was worn down . Because Meineke’s brake warranty only covers up to a year we had to pay to get our front brakes replaced again by our mechanic a year later . Please go elsewhere to get your brakes properly installed .

My car was overheating and they fixed it and after 2 days my car start overheating again. I thought they find the prob. Which I paid the for diagnose engine and parts

I had just purchased my 88 GMC Sierra and noticed uneven wear on the tires. I scheduled an appointment for alignment with the Bremerton store for the service along with some other issues I needed addressed. They couldnt do the alignment due to the repair that is needed. They addressed everything I had concerns about and left owing nothing after 2 hours of a thorough examination. I am coming back for the repairs after I am able to make a substantial cash payment for the repairs, and finance the remaining balance

They were all friendly And professional. My complaint is that not one person was wearing a mask. Even the front desk when I checked in and paid. There was no social distancing so it made me pretty uncomfortable even though I had a mask on myself. Not sure about company policy on this but wanted to mention it.

Went in to get new brake pads and hoping for not replacing my front rotors knowing I probably need them since the sound is grinding; which is bad of course. The worst happened and needed new front rotors and pads. But, after the repairs , they noticed the rear rotors need to be replaced (metal on metal) but missed it during the initial inspection. So, Derek (the manager?) threw them in for free of cost. That saved me in cash and safety of stopping power.

If you talk to Derrick, it is the best if the Meineke chain. Been to several, this one has top notch mechanics and manager. Wont take my maintenance stuff any where else. The dont up sell you, but they will do a complete inspection. Hard to find this quality of service these days.

Im very unhappy that I brought my car to Meineke. I went in for an oil change and upon inspection they told me I needed a transmission flush and a new filter. It was going to cost me $272.20. I was going to take my car to the dealership because I needed some recall parts changed, so I told Meineke Id have the Toyota dealership take care of the flush / filter. The man helping me told me to get it done as soon as possible, so I was worried. When I took my car to the Toyota dealership they informed me that my transmission fluid was fine and I did not need a flush or new filter. They saved me almost $300. Meineke also removed my hub caps and did not attach one of them properly, so it fell off. When I called them about it they were very dismissive. I wont take my car to Meineke again.

I came in with a coupon for a synthetic oil change on a newer Ford Focus. The man at the counter was very nice and accommodating. However, I had to wait for 1.5+ hours because they had no oil filters in stock for my husbands car (a very common one). But, $20 for an oil change is a bargain, therefore I will probably return again.

I had a loud noise coming from my left rear wheel. I thought it might be a bad wheel bearing. I was right and Meineke fixed it. They were professional and fixed it in time for me to get back on the road over 4th of July weekend. They emailed pictures and ghier diagnosis for free ahead of time. The price was fair and what i had expected ahead of time. Overall they did a good job and didn’t try to sale me on anything I didn’t need. I appreciate a mechanic that doesn’t go for the upsale when I clearly didn’t need it.

Came in today for a oil change. I had a coupon for 19.95 for a basic oil change. I was informed it could be more if my cap showed it needed the more expensive oil. So the first oil change in my car the dealer used synthetic oil. James tells me since the sticker in my window shows synthetic oil was used I now have to pay 77$ for my oil change. I asked what does the cap show? He told me it does not matter I now always have to use synthetic oil. I decided to look it up online while waiting for my car. I could find no Info stating what I had been told. All I read was it has no effect on your engine to switch back and forth from synthetic. I will leave here today with the feeling that since Im a woman I can be taken advantage of. But hey he gave me $5 off. While sitting waiting for my oil change a different person was at the computer. He was kind enough to mention a 45% off coupon. I went online and found it. Shame on you Meineke. To make a buck you lost business for all 3 of my vehicles. This is my first oil change to take 2 hours.

Going in tomorrow and having my radiator replaced because I asked the guy to replace all of my fluids. REPLACE. THAT DOESNT MEAN ADD MORE TO WHATS IN THERE. I even had them performed a new vehicle inspection. So , you cant tell me that makes any sense. Now I have some clay like muck in my radiator and guess what came on today at a red light? The check engine light as my car dies in the middle of the street! Here I am on a busy highway in the middle looking like a POS. If those things are separate and there is no damage to my motor or sensors, I will update on here to give more feedback. I loved the service. I gave it a 8/10 because I has to wait 4 Hours. Look at it in my perspective. Here it is 11 PM and Im having to flush my radiator in hopes my engine isnt fried at 11PM. Thanks!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Worst service I have ever experienced!! I dont even know where to begin. First time I showed up for my appt. it took 2 1/2 hrs for them to tell me they ordered the wrong part! I left with nothing done on my vehicle. Meineke ordered correct parts and told me to come back next day at 10am. I arrived at 10am and my did not get on lift until 11:15am. At 1:30 they were done fixing my catalytic converter and charged me $945.08 (first quote was for $515 but that was the wrong part). I left and within 45 min my check engine and other dash lights were back on again. I called Meineke and they said that thats normal and he sees it all the time and is common, keep driving for a few days and the computer will figure out the new part and should go off, just reset the dash lights. I drove straight to NAPA and had them do a diagnostics check. The exact same readings were coming up as before. Next day I took it to dealership AND Austin Pro Max to get more opinions. Both places said my catalytic converter were not even close to being fixed. They didnt even replace the correct part! Meineke replaced a part that didnt even need fixing! They have refunded me $500 but I still paid for the $300 part!! This place sucks and thats an understatement!!

Took my 98 Expedition in for an inspection (I knew most of what they would find, but the inspection is free). Re-sealed rear differential, replaced a CV axle, turned two rotors, replaced pads/etc, also had some minor parts they didnt charge me labor on (bushings and brake hardware kit). Overall I spent more money than I planned on but I dont feel ripped off. They were up-front with me about the costs before they did a single bit of work so I knew what I was agreeing to.Very pleased overall, especially with maintenance and repair that nobody really wants to have to have done in the first place.

Went in for an oil change and was short 10 cents cash on an 18.00 oil change I left my card with my wife and only needed to call her to get the number to pay the full amount. Little did I know the cashier instructs me like a child or because Im African American, you better get that card his name is Eric and recommend if you are not a cacaussion you use caution when bringing your vehical. Your will leave feeling like trash or you might want to fight. Horrible experience.

This is my 2nd time there & ive had bad experience both times. After I had my oil changed my car was leaking oil like crazy. Took it back to them twice and they finally said the oil filter they put in had a faulty plug. I personally believe that they forgot to put it back in. Very condescending staff that is not friendly.

If i could leave no stars i would..i got Ripped off..i took my car in on the 6th because it was having trouble starting. They said thru put it on the diagnostic machine and was told it was my alternator. I asked if they took outside alternator they said yes. Went to AutoZone purchased the alternator..took the car and alternator back at 8:15. At 1:30 i get a call that the alternator didnt fit..it took almost 5 hrs to realize the alternator doesnt fit..i ended up buying there alternator at 5pm i get a call..your alternator is replaced but we cant get your car to go into gear...you cant pick your car up until tomorrow..i go back on the 8th pick up the car $410 take it home its still not cranking right up..i took the car back..they diagnose it this time that the starter is out they will gladly repair it for $1100+. .shouldnt the first diagnosis have detected that..the sad part is although the first guy that waited on me Dan or some name with a D. never looked at me or acknowledged my presence. I feel he knew he took me..everyone i spoke to said no i wouldnt use place..i take the alternator back to AutoZone the sales person is inspecting it..testing it..saying they didnt think it was the alternator i purchased from them..that they think it was switched..i didnt switch it i took it to meineke they Say that explains it..i wouldnt use them and we have a contract them..they took it back after 15 minutes of inspecting..i will never use meineke again..disgrace

CAREFUL USING COUPONS!! Had an 11 am appt for basic oil change that included tire rotation, visual check of air filter, fluids, etc. I was the only car there when I dropped it off and they quoted me 30 min. I hadnt heard back by 1:45. Finally it was done around 2. Prior to my appt I had marked my tires and sure enough they HAD NOT BEEN ROTATED ! They said that they only rotate if it looks like it needs to be done but they will go ahead and rotate if I want? Cmon ! 2 hours for an oil change not including rotation time ! Unacceptable! He offered me a free oil change next time as I walked out but I wont be using it. Do your job right the first time and you wont lose business.
