The owner, Austin, is extremely professional and honest. I have gone to him since the business opened, and he has always done great work. He never pushes unnecessary work on you to try and make the sale, and always completes the work on time. I have recommended him to family and friends, and they have all had the same great experience. DO. NOT. USE. THIS. SERVICE. I have been going to Austin for about three years now. He seemed like an honest, good guy. He isn’t. He completely broke my starter. Now, you don’t have to believe this story. But it isn’t the only issues I’ve had with him. Just little, unprofessional things that I ignored because he was kind. Things such as refusing to work with my warranty because “it was too annoying”, not properly diagnosing my AC issues so it stopped working two months after the repair, as well as other things.So I was there to have him check on my AC, figure out why it isn’t working. As he is bringing the car inside, he turns it on and you know that awful sputtering sound a car can make if you screw up turning it on? He did that THREE times. I heard it with my own ears, figured it was gonna be fine. It wasn’t. My starter is completely shot, 600 dollar repair. But EVEN BETTER NEWS. Took it to a different mechanic and when the starter went it sent so much electricity to my battery that my battery was completely fried, had to get that replaced, ANOTHER 200 DOLLARS. That is what the mechanic said, but he said it in fancy car talk lol. This is at Texaco btw. I went to get freon added to my car. That’s it. Left with a 800 dollar bill.He of course denied any wrongdoing. My starter was having absolutely NO issues, but it just magically died and had absolutely nothing to do with him turning it on wrong and causing that terrible noise? I don’t know anything about cars, but I do know my car wasn’t having issues and that that sound happens when you do something wrong. Still charged me for damn freon. Do not ever go here. Just don’t. And I will be telling every single person I know to never use this business again. I would hate for this to happen to a loved one. I have had a great experience at Texaco in Guilford. Professional, know their stuff, kind. RJ Shore in Branford I have had a good experience at as well.

Cannot say enough good things about Austin and Nick (and Mike) over at Indian Neck Motors. Theyre both awesome guys and hard workers. More than fair labor rates and are very accommodating. Did work on my 04 WRX for half the price of many other shops I got quotes from. Cant recommend this shop enough - this is my new go-to shop and it should be yours too. Thanks guys!
