Hmm. I do my nails a lot and i’m very disappointed. There was potential but my nail artist refuses to listen! She just kept being rude. Shape is way different from what i asked for. My skin is all cut up. And i left paying almost $200…for this?Loved the pedicure though :)

I am a travel nurse and move to a different area every months! This was the first place that I went to when I got into town and havent tried to find anywhere else! I also have never had to wait. The service is great. I recommend going to this shop for either a manicure or a pedicure.

I come to Michael’s place all the time with my sister and mother and we LOVE their services. Yes, the prices are kind of high but the quality of the work and how skilled and patient the workers are, totally worth it. I came here the day of my graduation to get eyelash extensions but they told my mother and I that it had to be scheduled in advance, but that they would do it for me. I always got here to get my acrylics (fullset), pedicures, and eyebrow wax. Has to be my favorite nail salon!

I was charged 45$ for half arm wax, i though that the lady said 25$ and I gave her 35$ with the tip, she then approached me and said that arm wax is 45$ , I didn’t want to make it a big deal and my sister said the price is ridiculous she said that it was full but she did not do full arms. Had such a bad experience, lady did not do a great job and I got ripped off. I would not recommend this place .

The service was awesome today my 1st visit and Mia served me. She was very professional. Make sure you check them out and service was fast enough. I have had bad experiences at other nail shops here in Massachusetts but this one was the best so far. They really take initiative when I came with the difficult request is why they are the best. The only shop I will continue to visit when in Massachusetts.

So my daughter came in for acrylic nails. First off the size was off one nail was longer than the other, the nails were mad fat and uneven. The design was terrible they messed up and they charged me 100dollars for that yeah I don’t recommend this place.

My boyfriend got me a gift certificate for this nail salon for vday and although I appreciated the gesture I was super mad because I had never heard of this place and when I go to Braintree mall I already have my go to salon. I looked at the reviews and had someconcerns going to a new place can be scary it’s location is at the end of the mall but it should be at the front of the mall! I made an appointment online but got there early and got a seat right away Tina took me right away she made sure I was comfortable with the water temperature, offered me water, and great conversation she spent over 40 minutes on my feet! For the price I felt like I was at a 5 star spa Mia the manager did my full set and the moment I got there she had a positive attitude it wasn’t my birthday but it felt like it the atmosphere is amazing they put your feet and nails in this amazing product that makes it soft and smooth free of charge ! I left feeling like I spent a day at the spa and like it was my birthday and a queen ! Great attentiveness, conversation, atmosphere and service! I will be back again 🥰🥰

I asked for marbled nails and after waiting an hour they she couldnt even do it. Then pressured me into getting diamonds then charged me $50 for a refill and a design she couldnt do. She then shouted my card was declined and that i have to pay her now when in reality the receipt said cancelled cause she kept pressing the cancel button. Waste of time and waste of money and this was all after she tried to convince me that there the beat at designs... just stolen pictures of the internet.

I just left this place and my feet are thanking me. I have been coming here for a long time now. Sometimes weekly, other times random depending on my work travel. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a happy smile, offered water, and asked how I am doing. The attention to detail me feet (and myself) are always wonderful. My experience here is always a good one.

The employees are always so kind and professional. I enjoy coming here as a regular customer.

You guys charge so much for a pedicure that wasnt even done right, I ask the lady to scrub my feet she couldnt understand me so she call someone else they told me its an extra $7. the lady cut my nail so short I was bleeding, I had to stop the pedicure I didnt even finish it or add any color. Anyway Im not coming back, first time last time.

Undoubtedly the best pedicure and manicure experience I have ever had! The staff was very friendly, caring, efficient and dedicated. They treated me like I am their most important and first customer of the day. The spa pedicure with the hot stone massage was just amazing and I absolutely love how my nails look. I am certainly going back to Michaels place every time I need a pedicure- manicure and I would love to take my family with me so they can experience the same luxury at a very affordable price. The customer service was top-notch!

This establishment charges an additional $5.00 to use the grater for the usage of dead skin when doing pedicures. I think it is more pure robbery particularly when other Nail salons in Boston incorporates the method in their pedicures price. They work is at the lower scale on the mediocre spectrum.

I call two hours before I went here.i ask how much acrylics are they said $25 and $5 extra for French nails. When I got my nails all done I asked how much I owed them they said $35 and $40 for French. Also the guy that did my nails made one nail longer than the other ones. The paint job could of done better. Overall its was an okay experience. I would not recommend this place to my friends.

My first time was amazing. I walked in and was seen right away and I was very happy.I then went back with my parents and kids for pedicures. The salon was empty so they sat us right away. I asked how much for my 2 kids 4 and 10 yrs old polish only and a lady said $25 for both so I said ok. As they started our pedicures, the same lady asked which pedicures we wanted so she gave me a list with 3 types of pedicures to choose from.The regular pedicure doesn’t include have your feet callus removed which all other nail salon that’s part of your pedicure. I then told her that she’s are charging $13 more just to have it doneSo I then told her that my mother and I Won’t have manicure. I was ready to pay and leave she then told me that my kids were $25 each. I paid and will NOT return to this salon againJust a ripoff nail salon 💅

My nails came out sloppy and the coffin shape was poorly defined. the lady doing my nails was very aggressive and she seemed like she was rushing to get my nails done yet there was rarely any customers in there to be rushing in the first place. my nails are extremely thick and the glue to stick my nails on is stuck to my skin and it burns and is very uncomfortable. and i asked for medium long and i got medium short. i don’t recommend anyone to get there nails done at this place and my nails have been hurting for a couple of hours now. terrible ..

Went in at 8 and asked if they had time to do a full set. I was fully prepared to turn around if they had said no. With 0 other customers and the employees getting their own nails and toes done, it took them 15 minutes to even begin doing me and my friends nails. The lady doing my nails suggested I do just basic gel but as a bartender the gel just gets ruined and my nails break super easily so I asked if she could still do the full set. Asked for them to be coffin shape which she said would be 5 dollars more. They are barely thinner than a basic square shape, and are very uneven with most of my nails being crooked. Some are significantly longer than others. 2 different employees did the acrylic so one hand is thicker than the other. This is my third time here and every time has been awful. I will not be returning. They didnt even put a base coat before the gel coat. All set. Dont go here. Save your money. $55 for nothing.Update: Its only been a few days and 4 of my nails have already popped off. The rest were extremely easy to take off.

My nails were so poorly done and the woman I had completely rushed the process. My got the dip manicure with tips and it has been a week and one of my nails split in half. I will never go back here and will never recommend this place to anyone. Expensive too!

Never had such a bad experience my nails came out terrible I got a full set and you could see the lines from where she sanded so much it was so bad that she sanded through my real nail and cut me the nails were put on crooked they did horrible then two days after the nails broke in half completely 3 of them to be exact I had to go somewhere else and get them fixed I had a very very bad experience here I will never go there again and will make sure to tell everyone I can how bad the service was!! I do not recommend going through the horrible service these people provided

This is the second time their gel polish has turned yellow on my nails. Not sure what they are using but I’ve never had this happen at any other nail salon and I always get the OPI polish everywhere I go. I got a gel mani late last week and already need to get the polish removed because it looks heinous. Will not return to Michaels again.

I just came from this salon to get my nails done for graduation. Worst experience ever. These people do not know how to do nails. And after I explained to the Owner that I did not ask my nails, she asked a customer?! How I feel has nothing to do with another customers experienc. Do Not risk it!!!! They do not know how to do acrylics. And they charged me $50 for them. WORST nails shop ever!!!

Dont go here. I didnt have the terrible customer service experience some other people had (although my manicurist was definitely an oversharer), but she did a terrible job. I got a gel manicure. I didnt touch my nails initially, but when I got to my car I noticed that there were jagged/pointy edges on several of my nails. The gel also started peeling off within 2 days. The last gel manicure I got (at a different salon) lasted 3 weeks.

I called 1/2 an hour before coming in for a regular mani & pedicure. I was seated immediately once I arrived. I ended up having a gel manicure instead & was pleased with the final look. Also the pedi was very enjoyable. Its nice to pamper yourself from time to time.

I have never experienced such deplorable customer service from an establishment. Where do I even begin? The tech I had made me feel like such an inconvenience. While she was doing my nails she was looking around frantically and rushing. I had to ask to see the colors and 30 seconds later she pushed the basket away from me and frantically started scraping off old gel polish. She then asked me if Id picked a color Yet? Obviously not seeing as you basically swatted them out of my hand while I was looking.At one point when I got up to wash my hands she disappeared out into the mall. Every change she got she was either talking on her phone or checking it. Because she was rushing she ended up cutting me several times and having to go back more than once to fix mistake she had made during my gel manicure. The woman finally figured out how irritated I was and when I told her she was making me feel rushed she got defensive. Mind you I was very nice and calm when I told her. Finally the manager figured out how unhappy I was and came over. She apologized which I appreciated it still didnt make it better. I told her that if the tech needed to step away to address something she should have just said that!I have never had such a bad experience as a customer anywhere. Dont go here unless you want crappy service cuts all over your fingers and a terrible over priced manicure.

The customer service this company has totally declined. Came in and registered for gel mani pedi. They totally skipped my mani and then when I asked for them to do it...they said no its to late, Come back tomorrow, the nail tech is lazy(theyre words) I filled out registration form stating what services I wanted.. I dont recommend them. This is the 3rd time Ive tried using this service since new ownership and Ive been disappointed. Sad it used to be a pretty good place.

NEVER get eyelash extensions here! I went today and after they finished one eye the woman told me to open my eye and look in the mirror and my eye was completely glued shut. They had glued my bottom lashes to the top. She then tried to separate them with a tool and it hurt so badly I started crying. They then brought in another woman and put something on my eyelashes to help loosen the glue but that ended up getting in my eye and burning and stinging. They were finally able to take enough lashes off so that my eye could open. I immediately left because I was so upset that not only did they make a huge mistake, they ended up ripping out some of my real eyelashes and completely irritated my eye. NEVER GO HERE FOR EYELASHES THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING

I went in for a full set and my nail technician consistently didnt listen to my requests for how long I would like the nails. After the 5th time I gave up. My nails are way too long, all filed sideways, one hand is way shorter than the other. Three of my fingers are bleeding. The women were very pleasant just not attentive to your needs.

Coming here was not a mistake. The full set pink and white I gotten done turned out so perfectly.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! I went here on a whim because I was already in the mall. I was getting a new set of gel nails, which are the ones with the tips. Not only did it take forever but it was so unnecessarily painful. The women who did my nails filled THROUGH my actual nail. It was painful at the time but I figured she just cut my cuticle by mistake. Days later and my thumb was still in so much pain. After it grew out a little I noticed that at the base of my nail there was a line of dried blood. I immediately coated it with some anti bacterial ointment and wrapped it up to make sure I didnt get an infection. On top of that the nail polish basically peeled right off my fake nails and then the fake nails followed right behind. They honestly should have paid me the $75 to get this done. Even if they did, knowing this, I still dont think Id let them touch me again. Save yourselves your money and some pain and go somewhere else!

Horrible in many ways. First, they filed my nails to an extreme point of pain. Then some of my nails were squared while some were oval. The nail paint was all over my fingers, not just my nails, making them look terrible. It was the end of the day so the woman was very rude.

I came here with my grandma previously and she enjoyed it so much. (Ann did such a great job) that I thought Id bring her back before her trip. When I tell you the service was lousy, it was LOUSY!!!. I havent even made it home, Im in the salon writing the review thats how bad it is. Theyre busy, understandable. But the way this young woman rushed through my re-fill is just terrible. She didnt shape my nails with the nail file (completely skipped that step) slapped on the nail polish (a whole of it, maybe because I brought in my own) and just breezed through the whole process which takes usually 45-60 mins was appalling for how much they charge. Im disappointed and mad that I paid for a service that I could have probably done at home for free with better results. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Asked for a full set, oval shaped and short and i showed her a picture of exactly what i wanted. She was making them way too long so I kept asking her to go shorter and she got pissed -i was so polite about it. at that point i didnt feel comfortable asking again. I would have gotten over it but my nails look horrible. one thumb is 3x the size of the other- each nail is a different shape- one looks like a bubble. Also, when she took out the machine that does the buffing on your natural nail....she took it out of an empty altoids box and it was obvious the tools were dirty. I asked jer about it, she gave me an attitude about it. I am going to try to upload a pic...I wanted to cry-guys they look HORRIBLE. Ill never come back here again.

The worst lash extension ever! Wonder if they really know how its done. I feel like 150 just went down the drain!The guy said he need to remove the old one in order to put new once on than he literally pluck my lashes cz the extension is glue to the real lash. The correct way is using gel removal !!!!!!!I was beyond upset, well if I stop n leave I would have no real or fake lash, the whole time he was not very caring, if u care u would not have pluck somebodys lashes out, the fume was bad from the glue n he kept saying open my eyes cz the under eye patch was not put on correctly ( its suppose to be between the eye)After getting it done, the extension fell off the very same night?! I MASSIVE amount ......wish I could post pictures funny thing is it all fell off from one eyeSo instead of going back which I dont trust him anymore I would like to leave a review n possibly ask XTreme lash if thats how they train the technicians

Ok, to be fair... We did not go back and see what the salon would do to fix the problem.... Read on....The experience was probably 3.5stars if you completely ignore the fact that the techs majorly screwed up my pedicure after it was done. Heres what happened... My bff and I walk-in with no appointment, and are able to get right into pedi chits and everything is moving along nicely. They used single-use emery boards and buffing cubes, which I thought was great. Both women paid attention to detail with the pedicure process..you know, the prep and the leg massage, lotion, hot stones.. It was very relaxing. Everything in the salon, like furniture, pedi tub chairs, etc looked well-worn but clean. The place as a whole looked pretty cramped, but I didnt feel that way if you know what I mean. They had what appeared to be EVERY SINGLE color from Essie and OPI, plus tons of gel colors from multiple brands.Once we were both done, we moved over the drying station... I dont think the fans and lights were working very well. We sat and chatted for a good 10-15 minutes. I was worried my toes werent dry yet, but the tech assured me they were, even after I expressed my concern a couple of times. She spayed both of our pedicures with that quick-dry spray, the one in the red can that does absolutely nothing..then, she PUT CLEAR PLASTIC BAGGIES OVER OUR FEET BEFORE WE PUT ON OUR SOCKS AND SHOES. We told her they were going to get smooshed but she assured us that the spray and Baggie idea works very well... Ok... An hour later, after lunch we took off our shoes and baggies..... Sure enough, all 20 of our toes were totally f***ed up. (See pic, red toes). At that point, we considered going back for a refund or re-do but decided against it as we both had quite a drive ahead of us, and it was getting near rush hour.... We go to Braintree pretty often, but each have our regular salons near home for usual visits. We wont be going back to Michaels Place. Too bad.

THE MANAGER ripped off my acrylic nails with a larger acrylic nail without soaking; left me with a blood blister under every single nail and completely destroyed and ripped up nail beds.
