Waxing The City provides outstanding service. They are always on time and Laura always greets me with a smile and a friendly hello. Kaitlyn has been my cerologist the last 3 times and did a great job. Her waxing skills are excellent and she made me feel very relaxed.

I had a simple eyebrow waxing with sierra. When I got to my car I looked at my eyebrows to see how they looked and there was so much hair she missed. She didnt even trim my eyebrows so they still look messy with no shape. I think Ill stick to the barber thats been doing my brows and just give up with waxing. $20+ and I still had to pluck my brows. Not worth it. Im not blaming it on the girl that did my brows but maybe the company needs to train better?About the response.. The hairs she missed were long and visible. Also she cut me trying to pluck a hair so I told her to stop. My brows havent been waxed or touched in months so they could have been trimmed. Please dont make excuses for poor work.

I was visiting Florida for a wedding and decided to stop in and get my first ever Brazilian wax. I was SUPER nervous as I’ve heard how painful these can be. However, my cerologist, Yana, was super knowledgeable and gentle with the entire process. She thoroughly explained what it would be like and how to care for my skin after. I have not went back to shaving since. I also had a full arm wax done with one of their newer technicians who did a diligent job in the entire process as well. If you’re in the area, stop in! Best place in the area for wax services! Very clean and well kept studio. I went in yesterday to get my arms done and they saw me right away. It didn’t hurt and the girl waxing me made me feel super comfortable. They have a great selection of skin products as well too. It’s a brand new establishment and in possibly the best location. Definitely the place to have anything done if you have many things to do since it’s near so many other stores and restaurants. You should definitely consider checking this out for yourself if you’re thinking about trying a new or different place.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the staff and I felt very welcomed! I had my eyebrows done by Yana who did a phenomenal job shaping my brows. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything she was doing so that I felt comfortable. She took her time and she made sure I was pleased with my eyebrows before I left. I don’t like in the area but when I was visiting my family in Sarasota, my former waxer cancelled my appointment so I found this place. The first wax was 50% off which is an amazing deal. The place is very clean and modern. I had Erina as my cerologist, she’s so gentle and gets every last hair. I barely felt anything and I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes for about 4 years now so that says a lot! Not only does she do a great job but she makes you feel so comfortable because she’s so sweet and HILARIOUS to converse with. I highly recommend Waxing The City to anyone!

I had a great experience at Waxing in the City. The lotion was perfect, the facility was super clean and the cerologist Channel did an awesome job. I normally break out/bad hives after waxing my bikini or eyebrows this time I didn’t. Like I said the place is great and super clean and tidy.

I went in to get my eyebrows waxed and when I got home and looked in the mirror I realized the tech missed a lot of hairs. I had to go in and pluck them myself and try to clean it up. I’m not impressed, I should have just done my eyebrows myself and saved my money.

Went on a Thursday evening, First time so i got 50% off my service (eyebrow wax&shape) so I thought I’d get an add on, the hydrating gel for my under eyes... BIG MISTAKE!!! The product my waxer had put under my eyes went into my eyes and caused such a burning (Not even 2 mins on)that I made her stop mid wax and take the gel off me and let me get the product out of my eyes. After that she finished her waxing to my liking and i checked out. She still charged me for the eye gel!!!! Waste of money and an un happy client!

I have never gotten a wax treatment done before so I was a bit nervous when I decided to try it with a friend and the service at Waxing the City by far exceeded my expectations. I had the pleasure of having Yana Hosny wax my eyebrows, lips and she even made the thoughtful suggestion of waxing my nose hairs which I didnt even know was a thing! She walked me through everything she did (probably because she could tell I was nervous about how painful waxing could be) which was quite helpful to calm my nerves and she did her first wax on my lips and I barely felt a thing! Then when it came to waxing my nose hairs I was extra extra nervous for the pain and that wasnt painful at all either and I love that I dont have to worry about my nose hairs exposing themselves when I smile! Yana definitely knows what shes doing. I really wasnt into much beauty maintenance before coming here but I definitely plan on coming back here for future treatments. I dont submit a ton of online reviews, but I felt so comfortable here I just have to rave about it. I highly recommend Waxing the City and Yana. The service and care was excellent here and I was very impressed. Thank you for not causing me pain!
