I go every 2 weeks to get a trim and a shape up. If you are a real man who doesnt want to go to a salon, are you looking for a nostalgic barber shop, then look no more.Beard growers should ask for Andy.He does great work, being a beard grower himself.

Decided to take a drive down on my lunch break figuring a 35 minute window was enough of a chance to get a mans haircut with 4 people working. (Called beforehand to see if how busy it was or if there was a time period I could get in; walk in only) which is not thier problem they got busy in the 20 minutes between the phone call and getting there. But when you take a number (20) and they start at the next 15 at a time of 11:55 am and you sit/wait for at 19 and some random person without a number magicly is next (assuming a friend); then at 12:25pm (couple minutes after guy with no number takes the next spot) I walked out. Cheap haircut at $11 but completely unprofessional.

I got everything I asked for, merely $11. Fantastic. And my job interview went well!

The folks that work/own it make you feel like family. Andy cuts my hair and this dude is on point.I know guys that pay over 3 times what I’m charged, and they don’t get the quality cut and or experience that I get.

They are patient, funny, and get my boys haircuts right. Great stylists, great place.Make sure you bring cash. They dont accept cards here. Its first come, first served until 5 pm, and closed on Sundays.

Quick haircuts for only $10. Very hard to beat, Ive been looking for a good place to go in Sarasota for years and think Ive settled on here. The 30 minute drive is definitely worth it.

On advice of a friend, I went there Friday 12/7/18 at lunchtime.Busy place but wait was short (20 min). The nice lady who did my flat top perfect was named Carrie I believe. Used the hot shaving cream on back of my neck and straight razor to trim.. old school. Loved it and WILL be back. 10$. cuts. Thank you Carrie.

Usually extremely busy but move right along. They do not make appointments. They have always had at least 3 barbers on the floor whenever I have gone and I have always had a good cut. Prices are VERY reasonable.

Ive been there a few times over the years and Ive had good results. Yesterday 10/05/18 I went in for a cut. When I walked in I was greeted by a barber who had a customer in her chair; there were four people seated. I asked if Andy (who cut my hair last week and did a fine job) was available and she said he was not, in fact he would be out for a few days. I then asked if the people sitting were all waiting for a haircut, if so I didn’t have the time to wait. The barber who was actually working said that two of the people sitting were barbers and available. So I then asked are these other two people waiting on you? At this point I’m just trying to figure out what the heck is going on here? Are they working or not? The two other barbers are still talking to each other and looking at the newspaper ... the lady barber asks again for one of them to assist me. The guy looks up from his paper as if I’m asking for a favor, as if I’m bothering him. It was very unprofessional and made my feel unwelcome. Needless to say I walked out. I will not return to the shop. I’m guessing by their attitude that new business is not important as they probably have an established clientele. I ended up Googling barber shops near me and went to “Bossman Barber shop” a mile and a half up the street (first time customer) there. Half a dozen barbers all with customers and myself and four others waiting. I’m all for small business but this is why they lose out on customers.

I have been about 10 times and had a good cut 2 of them, there is an older lady there that will tear your head up, customers should be watching the tv not the barber. Every time there is a line and i hope for the best but i always seem to get this lady and after waiting 30 min i just want a cut so i pray, but every time i have some wild side burns and crazy uneven cut and i am on my way to another shop to get my head fixed just spend the money and get a real cut!

First time visiting there. Good haircut. The place was full. Four chairs occupied plus people waiting for haircuts. They only take cash and not credit or debit cards.

I have been going to Braden River Barber Shop for about 12 years now. I absolutely love the home feeling I get everytime I visit to get my cut. They make you feel like family. The owner Vikki takes a lot of pride in her shop and you can see the love that she has poured into her business through the years. Her daughter Kaylin has been my go to barber since I have started going there and she will likely be cutting my hair until Im one day old and grey, or bald lol. Thanks for always being great. You all Rock!

Brought my sons here for a haircut and will never come back. One of the barbers (older gentleman) ignored how my son wanted his hair and basically shaved his head with a #2 blade. My other sons witnessed this and wanted to leave right then and there. There were other barbers that were available and my boys allowed them to cut their hair and they did a decent job. Hard lesson learned and was disappointed.

None of the barbers are great now because the good ones leave. Too many of the barbers are not working all week, so you never know if your preferred barber will be there when yo you go..... Update: Good barbers back, bad barbers gone, so a major improvement.
