Crystal is amazing. My 15 yo wanted her 2 long thick hair cut into a shave and donated to cancer kids. Of course she wants lots of fun colors, but not til after 16! Figured this spot would be the one to go to as a perm stylist. Both my daughter and I got our needs met! Will definitely be back many many times.Oh yeah... super affordable for cut. Not sure about color pricing...yet!

I have a great stylist and I have never been disappointed with her, very professional and fun to work with. I do recommend the salon! However, I must suggest that when they have been hired someone should be with them at all time. Today, I got a girl that left me for over 10 minutes and didn’t comeback or sent somebody else to finish my hair. Glad that the overall people working in the Lakewood Range location are very professionals and one picked up the unfinished job. Lack of training or not, it does not justify someone to leave a job half way! It does not represent Yellow Strawberry’s business model.

Two of the nicest ladies i have ever meet. Im not much of a hair person when it comes to coloring or styling. These ladies know what they are doingThey asked me what color i wanted and i told them i dont know so what you think and they chose an eggplant color and love it. They did an excellent job with the color and cut/style. I live over an hour away and it was well worth the drive. I have found my hair salon. Thank you ladies for everything!!!

0/5 I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I had to select the 1/5 or I am unable to post. My daughter came here for hair coloring while on spring break. She was charged $265 dollars for bayalage treatment and a trim. The bayalage was not done according to my daughter’s initial request and what she was charged does not come close to the prices listed in comparison. The stylist was shown a picture and then promised that she could deliver the same results. She asked for a slow blonde fade in. What she got was more of a half and half color treatment that was pretty brassy looking. She was told it would lighten up over time. It has not. The stylist was rushed to get the job done and even told my daughter she was in a rush - because she had somewhere to be after work. My daughter notified me when she was just about done so I went to pick her up. When I arrived, she was waiting on the sidewalk with her sister who went with her. The salon was locked up and no one was around. My daughter is somewhat timid and I refuse to let her be taken advantage of so I called to discuss the issue with the stylist. At first we were told the only way they can help is if we came back in the beginning of next week but we will be headed home at that time. I called back and was offered a sooner availability. However, we are on vacation and have plans for the allotted time. I requested a refund and was told she didn’t have the money to refund because she already spent it on bills. As politely as possible I said that’s not my problem. I explained we are not interested in going back into the salon for a fix-it job. Rather, we are asking for at least a partial refund. I understand product was used so a partial refund seems reasonable. I have called 5 times now and every time my name and number is taken with the promise of a return phone call, yet I have not once received a return call. I am the one consistently making contact. There still is no resolution to the situation at this time. We were charged a ridiculous amount of money for a lackluster job. I am beyond disappointed and feel as though we are being taken advantage of. We will be pursuing this further!

I don’t recommend! I think the workers were very friendly within the salon, but they did not satisfy my experience. They had more time and effort to respond to my mother’s 1 star review but not enough to respond to our 5 phone calls, where we were asked to leave our phone number but no call back.I came in and asked for a balayage, and the stylist said it was nothing hard to do! I trusted them because they were welcoming and told me they’ve done this before. But the process was extremely unprofessional.The stylist told me my hair would lighten up, but it never did. My hair looks more like a half and half orange tone then a natural ombré. The stylist took breaks to smoke a cigarette and eat McDonalds (I never saw her wash her hands afterwards).I am really upset because I was so excited to get my hair done! Then afterwards, the stylist told us she had to leave, locking up and leaving my sister and I on the curb in the middle of an unknown area to us. I wasn’t worried about being unattended, I am 19 years of age, but this is common courtesy and simple professionalism!I am uncomfortable with them fixing my hair, in fear of them messing it up again. But at least a partial refund isn’t unreasonable to ask for. The stylist said she was unable to issue a refund, due to the fact that she used the money for personal expenses. I made my appointment around a week in advance, however I doubt she relied on my money for said expenses before then.Once again, they were welcoming face to face, but extremely unprofessional overall, especially behind a screen.

I had a great experience, highly recommend. The owner really took her time with me and listened to what I wanted with my hair. The salon is clean and decorated so cute and cozy you have that at home feeling. She doesnt make you feel like just another client or appointment to make money she makes you feel very important and personalizes your experience, shes amazing!

I would very hardly give even one star.The services was very poor.i went by looking online I really thought she would do good job. Just to heilight she ask me 250$ for less than 30 min work but I have 150$ my hair was thin not so long looked okay. Next time I went to do my hair straight she finish less than an hours and charged me 260$ and after I took shower it looks worsed than I had. I called her she didnt pick up phone I went there trying to show my hair and she told it looks so good to me .the keratin works what it supposed to work it goes frizzy but it wont be straight.she was behaving so rude .explains she have 25 yrs experience...,...but looking her work look like 3 month experience look at my straight hair.who can say this a straight hair and it look this much because I put oil it looks so freezy than my own hair. I can show you my hair pictures here but its not letting me.Thank you so much cristy for taking away my hard work money for doing nothing. I was just there to get my hair cut and dyed. She did an amazing job and looked out for my hair vs making more money by telling me I shouldnt highlight my box dyed black hair that it would end up frying it. She clearly cares more about quality vs what she can make money wise. I recommend her to anyone looking for a quality cut and dye job. she is also super sweet. I felt like a friend and not a customer

It was my first time going into a hair salon because I would do my own hair at home, but it was such a great experience going there! Christy, who did my hair, was so sweet and you can tell she really loves what she’s doing because she got so excited and happy when she saw how my hair was turning out. I let her take the reins and chose what colors to put in my hair and it turned out so beautiful! Wonderful place and lady!

I can’t praise this place enough. Christy is quite possibly the gulf coast’s best kept secret. I came if for a rather large request for a big change, and she handled it like a champ and a true professional. With 25 years of experience, I knew I was in good hands. I absolutely adore my new cut and color and look forward to sitting in her chair again in the future!

The place quoted one thing $125 and ended charging $260. Been taken advantage of because we are from out of town is BS. Once the lady saw what needed to be done to my daughters hair, the stylist should have said that the price was different this is poor business practices. I would give zero stars if possible. I have taken my daughters and my wife to some of the most prestigious stylist back home and nothing has been close to the price gouging that happened with my experience today. I would never recommend anyone from out of town go to this studio.

Hair Raizers is the best salon you could ever go to! Charity is amazing and truly knows what shes doing! Ive gone from curly to straight from red to purple to blue and pink hair with Charity and every time it comes out amazing! I wouldnt go to another salon if someone paid me to! I do a lot with my hair and because my hair is so important to me she is always very careful not to damage my hair in anyway. If I have an idea and its going to damage my hair or not look good in anyway way she is very professional and will take the time to explain why something wont work but then offer you another way to get something similar with a better outcome for you and your hair! Visited this salon for the first time today and SO GLAD I DID!!. Ive been searching for a good salon in Bradenton for months and found them online, read their reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a stylist myself and having worked only in high end salons I have some high expectations. I must say I could not be more pleased with my hair! This salon does not offer the extras of a high end salon but they dont charge high end prices either ;). The talent and quality you get here is so worth a visit. Youll be hooked. I saw Lindsey and she was simply awesome. Very down to earth, approachable, knowledgeable and TALENTED! She did not rush the cut and style. She was very attentive and really seemed invested in giving me the style I wanted. There was pleasant conversation and plenty of laughs. This is my new salon home. I’ve been getting my haircut by Charity for two years now. I’ve lived all over the United States and I’ve always gotten my cuts at top salons because I am picky about my hair. Charity has ALWAYS given me excellent cuts at very reasonable prices. I drive from 30 mins away bc of how good she is.

Im always really hesitant to try new hair salons, but after reading the reviews on Google I decided to give it a try. It was wonderful! Very relaxed environment with top notch hair products. She took the time to make sure everything was done correctly, something that I definitely appreciate as a first timer to her salon. Definitely would recommend to any and all!!

I called Hair Raizers after I let a friend convince me she could die my hair and it would be fine! Not a good idea I ended up looking like I had tiger stripes in my hair it was AWFUL! I called the salon the next day a Saturday I might add and Charity was fantastic she made an appointment for the same day even stayed late to fix my hair! She is absolutely wonderful no more tiger stripes for me! Ill never go to another salon again!

Ill be coming back. I had a semi-disastrous home blonding attempt and Charity was very sweet and helpful. She gave me advice and helped me feel better about it. I will definitely be switching to this place from Scissors on Manatee. They were great too but I feel like the girl who styles my hair there is afraid that if she helps me or gives me advice, I wont need her... she wouldnt even recommend a shampoo...

My husband and I found Hair Raizers one year ago and we havent gone anywhere else since. I have thick, coarse, wavy ethnic hair that most places in Bradenton do NOT know how to handle. Charity is amazing and always leaves my hair silky and shiny. Individualized attention is one thing that sets this place apart from the rest. Typically an empty shop is a sign to run for the hills but thats not the case here. Charity schedules her clients individually so you dont have to compete with any other clients for her attention. She works one on one with her clients and makes sure you leave satisfied. I cannot say enough positive things about this place!!

Hair Raizers owner, Charity, was upfront and honest with me. What I wanted was achievable but would take some prep on my part or Id have to cut at least 6 inches off my length. I chose the prep, the olaplex made my hair look and feel amazing! My artic ice tone hair gets complements from people in all walks of life! I love it and cant wait for the next hair adventure!

Great hair cut

Although Mary took her time with my hair, I called 3 days later to say I felt like the toner was left on too long because it was hard to see my highlights and she said she would work me in that evening .Later that day she texted that she is running behind, which I understand , and I answer her text what my availability is the next day. Never responded again to me. Unbelievable and very unprofessional , as a former stylist I would never treat a new client like that especially after the money I spent. It would have been a easy fix. The cut was off too. I liked the idea of a long bang but its only cut that way on my parted side and not on the other. Disappointed.

Ive never been here before (fairly new to the area) and when I called to book an appointment the woman on the other line was incredibly rude. I just asked her a question about a stylist and about a service and she made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience to her. At the end of the call when I thanked her she said alright and hung up. Guess the search for a good salon continues.
