I was lied to...downright lied to by the Lakewood Ranch Manager. Yesterday afternoon (9/28/21)I came to the Lakewood Ranch Mavis shop as I had a bad tire on my 2020 Passport...I ran over something on the highway and it gouged a big hole in the center of the tire so I needed a replacement. I was told, by I think his name was Jerry...that they have my tire in stock in their local warehouse and it would be delivered to the shop the next morning on 9/29/21. I explained to the manager that my wife was going out of town with the Passport on 9/29 and I need him to guarantee that the replacement tire would be there in the am of the 29th. He told me absolutely, no need to worry, it will be here no later than 9:30am and we will work on it right away. OK...cool, so I left my wheel with the bad tire with them that night.So on the 29th(today) I did not hear anything by 9:45am, so I went over there. To my disbelief, no one knew what I was talking about ...and of course Jerry was not around. The guy behind the counter then told me he knew nothing about my tire and when he looked it up it was not coming in until 9/30/21. The guy the day before completely lied to me.Thank goodness the local Honda dealer was sympathetic to my issue, had one tire my size to put on...and they did it right away.I am done with Mavis...this is now my second time getting burned by this store...never again.

Although they were extremely busy when I bought my car in early afternoon to look at my tire that was leaking air, they told me if I could leave my car, they would have it fixed within a few hours. Just as promised, the tire was fixed. I have used them multiple times in the past, and will return for my tire needs.

Excellent quick service. Needed a tire fixed in a hurry and they got my vehicle in right away so I could still make it to my other appointment on time.Left a good review the first time as they didn’t charge me to fix flat if I left them a good review. Guess they do things for free to get a good review.This time made appointment to get tire fixed. Showed up 30 minutes early and was told it would be 3 1/2 hours before he could get to it. I said I had appointment but he started that an appointment means when to come in and get in line. That is the same as a walk in if they was the case I would have been there first thing when they opened and not waited for my appointment time.

I would leave a one star but the original guy that helped me the day I purchased tires done the best he could. I made a 9:00 a.m. appointment on 6-15. I arrived 15 minutes early. When I went to the counter and gave my name the guy told me it would at least be 3 or more hours. I was frustrated but ended up waiting. I had purchased four new Goodyear tires for my truck and an alignment. It took every bit of 3 hours to complete the work. I left the store and got on the highway and the rear of my truck felt as if it was bouncing. I left work early and returned to have my rear tires rebalanced as I was leaving for a trip in two days. They got it right in and balanced the rear tires again. I left for my trip two days later. After loading up and leaving as I got back on the highway my front right tire was noticeably out of balance and shook almost unbearably over the three hour trip up and then back. I returned home on Saturday 6-26 and went back to have my tire rebalanced. I arrived at the store at 2:00. The guy at the front desk this time informed me that He is absolutely not taking any more vehicles today. I said it is just my front tire needs rebalanced which is all of 15 minutes. He said no way come back next week. I told him twice I was leaving out on a trip on Monday morning. He said Oh well. I told him I was disappointed as I just wanted them to fix their issue and this was my third trip back. He just shrugged his shoulders. His attitude made me feel like they had stuck it to me. I have another vehicle needing tires and I will go elsewhere. Everyone is short staffed today and I get that but do it right the first time. My time is valuable too. I will try to get their issue fixed by someone else on my trip. I wished I could recommend Mavis because the other front desk guy was honest and helpful but I would go elsewhere. It is worth paying a little more to be treated better and not like you are in the way.

This is one of the best businesses in Manatee county to get your car serviced. They are extremely courteous, very professional and cost effective. The customer service agents never try to pressure sale their services. It is our pleasure to highly recommend this business!

I need a tire repair and went to this place on March 25th late afternoon. The guy at the front desk told me to bring the car next morning at 9am and they will take care of it. Next morning 9am sharp I’m at the shop and different guy at the front desk told me that I don’t have appointment. He told me that they will take care of it but I need to leave my car with them. I asked him if they could do it now and I will wait. He said that there are 6-7 cars in front of me. Since I’m only 5 minutes away I decided to leave my car with them. The guy told me that they would call me when that car is fixed. I waited home for 4 hrs and nobody called me so I hopped in another car and went to see what is going on. I asked the same guy at the front desk why my car is not fixed yet. He told me that there are 6-7 cars in front of me. I told him that he used that line on me this morning…… no response from him. Then the shop supervisor stock his head and said that they don’t have anymore “plugs”. At that moment I asked for the key to my car. When I was picking up my car the shop supervisor was outside and I asked him, how could a tire shop not to have plugs in the middle of a work day. He started to be very aggressive explaining to me that his technician did not tell him that they run out of the plugs. I asked him “isn’t your job to make sure that the shop has everything to service your clients” He became really arrogant. I told him that I would write a review how they treat their customers. He offered to give me his business card so I would know his name and I said thanks and I will refer to you as the fat arrogant supervisor. He said that he doesn’t care about the reviews; He has plenty of business….Don’t go there at any cost. Take your business somewhere else.I would like to ask the owner of this shop…..How could you allow people like them to work for you. Shame on you.

We had a popped tire on the way up to tennessee and after getting a bad tire from one shop and limping our way here. Going to tire shops that were unable to help us. These guys got us in and out and on the way to make our trip happen! Staff went out of there to be friendly. Strongly recommend

Phenomenal service so a short notice situation. I was on my way home from the beach and picked up a screw. It was 30 minutes till they closed and the team was quick to get me in and get my tire patched. The customer’s wish is the teams command for this location. I have been coming to Mavis tire place for years now, and usually they are pretty good. This particular morning, the front desk man Jose i believe was not the best to deal with. He was upset when anyone walked in, also if they had an appointment… very unprofessional!!! Sat in the lobby area for about 2 1/2 hours when i had an appointment.

Jerry and his team provide exceptional customer service. I got a flat tire over the weekend, had AAA change the tire, called Jerry and he said they would be able to fix the tire on that same day.When I arrived at the store, Jerry and his teammate came out to the car and removed the flat tire from the back of my car. I have a child so it saved me a trip of going inside. They patched the tire, put it back on my vehicle and put the spare back where it belonged. I will recommend and use them for any of my tire needs in the future!

I got up Sunday morning to find that one of my tires was very low. Since I live close, I felt it would be OK to drive on a low tire to Mavis. When I got there I was told that, being a Sunday, they had a small staff on duty and that they were only working on cars with appointments. I decided to leave the car there so it could be worked on Monday and I figured I wouldn’t hear anything until the next day. I was delighted when I got a call on Sunday afternoon saying they were able to get to my car and that the tire had been repaired and it was ready to be picked up. I am pleased that they went beyond what they told me. I will be back again.

Mavis will not do right by you .I wish that Mavis would do the right thing.Well Mavis tire is typically the cheapest place and most decent deal… with immediate availabilityYou definitely get what you pay for.As my grandpa and many other grandpa said cheap work is not good and good work is not cheap.You can’t have both in the same.I’ve have had a TPS sensor fail (about a week after installation) and they have told me that it is a cause of my own doing. I’ve had this vehicle for multiple years and never had a TPS sensor failure until I changed my tires and it appeared.I have given many opportunities for them to do the right thing and fix their installation issue however they refuse to and want to charge more money.My advice to you is to go to a competitor that has a better solution and is more customer service friendly.It’s OK getting a great deal but it’s not OK not taking care of your clients after an installation failure.

We have been taking our cars here for years buying new tires and fixing way too many nail holes from all the Lakewood Ranch new construction. The service is always excellent. Whether scheduling an appointment or dropping in with the unexpected repair it has always been five stars. Make no mistake, these guys are busy, like everybody else trying to keep up with the influx of new people moving into the area. But they have also built a reputation of reliability and service that keeps their long time customers coming back. This is the original Lakewood Ranch tire store and the only place we consider bringing our vehicles. Thanks for everything!

I never have said that about any other tire store … I had to get a tire sealed that was leaking air .. they had me in and out …they did not try to sell me anything .. they did what I asked … don’t waste your time at the other tire stores in Lakewood .. Called to patch a tire the day before for an appointment. They were able to get me in first thing in the morning. Planned to do it off and pick it up in the afternoon and did exactly that. Since it took longer than they expected, he said it was on the house and super polite! Will be coming back!

This morning my car greeted me with a low tire pressure warning, about 12psi lower than the rest of my tires. Got to work, checked the tire in question and found a bolt! A little panicked, Mavis turned out to be right across the street from my job so I gave them a call just before 10am and they were able to get me in the same afternoon and I had my car back good as new 3 hours later. All the salesmen were friendly and efficient. Definitely check them out if you are in the area and need some tire service!!

I had a nail in my tire for the last few days and called and made an appointment for right after work. They had my car done within 30 minutes at 5pm and were the most respectful and kind auto shop employees I have ever had to deal with. I recently moved from out of state and clearly was flustered with the difficulty of maintaining an out of state leased vehicle and they made the whole process simple and easy. I will be coming here for my regular tire rotations, oil changes and random tire issues in the future. It is a great feeling knowing there is a place I can trust after moving to a new state!

I was at Mavis on Lakewood Ranch Blvd about a month ago during a road trip. My tire had lost pressure over the past day. I got there about 10:00 am. Steve (great service tech) saw the piece of metal embedded in my tire. He said they were busy at this hour and asked if I could possibly come back about 3-3:30. No problem-we we’re headed to the beach! I came back about 4:00 and was out by 4:45 with a plugged tire.

I needed a tire patched and called to see if they could take care of me, they said no problem. I dropped my car off at 9 and they said theyd have it done by 11. At noon I called to see if it was finished, they said I was next and it would be done soon. At 3:30 I called again and they said they were getting ready to get started on it and it would be done soon. At 5 I called again and they said they were working on it now, and it would be done in 15 minutes. At 6:30 I called again, and they finally said it was ready. When I went to pick it up, the manager, Steve, said my repair would be free if I gave them a 5 star review on Google. I gave him 5 stars and finally got my car back, 7 hours after they said it would be finished, for a simple tire patch. Not only did they not get the work done on time, they never once called me. Several other people at the office said they had bad experiences with Mavis, but I trusted the Google review rating. Now I wonder how many of their 5 star reviews they bought with discounts to their customers. Im certainly never going here ever again. Fortunately, Steve didnt specify how long I had to leave my 5 star rating up, so I dont feel bad about correcting my prior review.

Visited the new Mavis Tire and Brake on 64 in East Bradenton. Ernesto was super friendly and helpful. They were a day from opening day and he greeted me with a smile and a welcome. When I asked about a tire rotation for my Tesla, he offered a complimentary rotation for their grand opening. Will definitely be back when it’s time to replace my tires! Highly recommended.

I had gotten a nail in my tire traveling from Indian rocks Beach to Bradenton. Not sure where to go to get it fixed as the air was leaking out slow but sure, I pulled into Mavis since I was driving by. The staff was very helpful and less than two hours later when they called to tell me my tire/car was ready, and the charge was minimal. They were great. I highly recommend them. Plus the surrounding area had some stores that you can walk to and keep yourself busy while you wait. Thank you Mavis!!

We recently purchased 4 tires on one of our vehicles. Just went back due to a slow leak (puncture) on our other car. They repaired it without charge. We appreciate their customer service.

Every time I’ve gone in, they are extremely rude and talk to me like I’m bothering them. I really tried to give them multiple chances, but after this last one, I am done. I dropped off my car at 10:30 for an 11:00 oil change appointment. I came back at 12:30 wondering why it was taking so long, and they hadn’t even started my car. They said they don’t remember seeing my ticket. They acted as if it was my problem and not theirs, arguing “what do you want to do about it?” I am a young lady and I don’t need to be talked to like that. I was very uncomfortable, I took my keys and ran. Never going back again. I went to another place down the road without an appointment and was in and out within 20min, and they were extremely pleasant.

This place is a joke. I bring a trailer tire in for a flat repair. I leave it to pick up next day. I come back and they did not fix it but fixed it right there and then on the spot. Okay mistakes do happen. No biggie. Two weeks later I bring in my truck for an alignment. After alignment the truck tracks straight but they did not center the steering wheel. So I make an APPOINTMENT to get this fixed. When I get there they tell me I have to wait for all the walk ins that are currently waiting. Hello? I made an appointment to prevent having to wait. I just walked out the door. Will have to find a new place for tires. You should too.Edit to the owner. I have contacted that number. They said the regional manager would contact me. So far no call yet

Do not bother making an appointment. This place has no regard towards peoples time and schedules. I made an appointment a week in advance to have all four tire changed. Appointment scheduled for Saturday, February 27th, at 9am. Was advised it would take about 2hrs. Perfect!! I scheduled my day around this appointment. I do not know the name, but the service advisor I made the appointment with was very courteous and thorough in all the details.I was early for the appointment time I committed to. I arrived at 8:40am... The service advisor (not the same guy) greeted me with be right with you. Moments later...what can I do for you?. Told him I have a 9am appointment to have four tires replaced and advised him I was told it would be about two hours. He found me in the computer and continue upselling strategies which I had already declined with the previous advisor. This should have been in their notes. He asked if I was waiting and I told him I was being picked up and brought back in a few hours. He confirmed my phone # and said he would call when its done. 3.5 hrs later, no call. As I was being dropped off they were just pulling my vehicle from where I had parked it. Now furious, I went inside and told the advisor I was there to get my vehicle. I made a 9am appointment a week ago and you have failed to keep your commitment. He asked which vehicle was mine... I told him.. he went into the shop, came back and said.... keys are in the truck running. NO apology, NO let me get my manager, NO concern of wasting peoples time and accommodating their busy schedules. Just another dissatisfied customer walking out the door and the loss of a $1200 sale.

I stopped by my local Mavis (Lakewood Ranch Blvd near Publix) because I needed air in my tires. So glad I did, the store manager took care of it right away. The mechanic came out and realized I had a nail in one tire. As I waited for a ride... thinking I would need to leave my car over night the store manager came over and said, all done....and no charge! Amazing customer service. Dont hesitate to visit them...I should mention Ive always had a good experience!!!

Cant complain. They had the super sweet Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires I was looking for at the best price I could find. I was thankful Mark recommended an alignment as it was off and he provided me with proof. He also gave me a coupon for the alignment. Mark was helpful and polite and was enthusiastic about the tires and my car. Its a busy shop but they got my car back a few hours later and I am happy.
