We have been living here for 6 years. At first, it was great. Rent was affordable, we had free cable and washer and dryer. Then a new company took over, and slowly it got worse. They stopped our free cable in the middle of our lease. We could not afford to move, so we had to renew our lease. It went from around 860 a month, including water, to over 1,000. They claimed our actual rent was only 915, but if you looked at the breakdown of charges, they were now making us pay for the washer and dryer, and more for water. We were charged a base fee of $30 for water, now they charge each unit over $70. But there is only one water meter for the whole building! How can you charge everyone the same when you have no way to determine how much water each until is using. Now this new company, Optivo group is the worst. The apartment has had so many plumbing issues, the pool is not open, the park has broken glass and trash and is covered in graffiti. Unfortunately, we have been unable to move due to major medical issues. I am currently on dialysis and in a wheelchair, and they have done nothing to try to help fix the broken handicap ramp; which by the way is in a parking spot, so if someone is parked there, you cant even use the ramp. I could go on forever about how bad this place is, so please do not consider moving here. Way overpriced for nothing.

Called this place left message and emailed no response. They false advertise on FB marketplace that they have rental but when I called they said theyre not done until August! Called 6/25! FB you need to do better than allowing liars and scammers to advertise anything! Run away from these scamming liars!

Worst management. Do not lease from this apartment atleast until ANOTHER new company takes over “Optivo Group” is the worst I have yet to deal with and their know it all attitudes. Have left the office MANY times not happy. Maintenance is also slow. We’ve been here less then a year and have had so much just fall apart. Let’s not forget it’s SUMMER and the pool is shut down and gross. Like come on. 100% not worth the time it takes to even get ahold of this place for them to show you a model apartment and get a bad version of it.

The things that advertise on their website and other sites are not true..Once you get to the rental office things change..If you LIE on the websites about this place then you will LIE after the lease is approved..Leasee beware of this place..Hopefully this info helps someone..

Im shocked they are still using sparkling pool and WiFi café in their description, they no longer have either. The pool has been closed for months, you can no longer go to the office for coffee, use the computer, printer, etc. By wifi café they now mean you can connect to the internet from the parking lot, though I wouldnt count on it. Loose dogs have become a constant problem, and cleaning up after them is no longer enforced, so we dont use playground anymore. Its a shame, with so many activities limited due to the pandemic, the kids cant play outside or go to the pool. They found the time & money to open a laundry facility and put a bunch of flags out front though.Theres no longer a direct phone # for the office and its difficult to reach anyone about anything. I dont understand why they even have an office anymore, when you do get to speak to someone, they just look at you and tell you they cant help you, ...that has to be handled upstairs. They use the word upstairs a lot. I assume they mean some mystery corporate office that residents dont have access to.My rent amount is a surprise every month now, and no one can explain why. They show up and say they sent an email when they absolutely did not.The online portal to pay rent has the site you are attempting to reach may be insecure, are you sure you want to proceed? warnings.Its just tetrible. I wish there was a site or online community where residents could talk to eachother about these issues. I dont feel secure about living here anymore and sadly there arent many options right now. I would not advise anyone to move here if they can avoid it.

It’s standard for apartment complexes, in the area, to offer a platform allowing residents to pay rent & utility bills from the comfort of their home but it’s hasn’t been the case here at Avesta Treesdale for almost 2 months. (Which is kind of a minor issue)But on the bigger scope of things, My experience as a resident here has been very very satisfying.I have to admit the pluses outweighs the negatives (by far) as I have to highlight the very exceptional Miss Nicole. She’s always Super professional, attentive to residents’ needs and always strives to deliver with the highest level of quality possible. That’s always a face I’m looking to see anytime I pass by the office.

These people are very dishonest and crooked! They lied about my nephew having a criminal record in order to raise our deposit. They wouldnt let me have a walkthrough of the apartment but they expected me to give them the deposit. I was told that I could move in earlier than the initial date, but that I still couldnt have a walkthrough until the intial date of move in..? They wont give me a refund of my administration fee because I chose not to pay for an apartment that they wont allow me to see!

This place has absolutely the worst management and I would not recommend anyone staying here! Ive had a hole in my bathroom ceiling for a month now and then someone finally shows up to fix it at 5:30 in the evening unexpectedly no calls or nothing! This place charges way to much and does not care enough about its residents!

Certainly not the best, but certainly not the worst apartment complex weve lived in. Its decent enough that were on our third lease with Avesta, but there is definitely room for improvement, as is to be expected with any complex. We like our building and get along well with the neighbors. The apartments are just enough space and easy to maintain, and maintenance has always been available when we needed them. Plus, there is a washer & dryer in the apartment, so you dont need to worry about a laundry facility. Unfortunately, there is not a gym on site. It can get loud as there are lots of children living in the complex, and there is the occasional person who thinks its acceptable to crank up mariachi music at 5am in the parking lot. There havent been any violent crimes that we know of since we moved in, but there are lots of domestic issues (fights, yelling, screaming) that seem to always take place right outside our windows at all hours. We cant hear our neighbors that live behind us through the wall we share, but we can hear anyone in the breezeway through the doors. Also, the parking lot is very small and offers visitor parking, but guests still park in resident spots, so by the time I get home from work at almost 11pm, I have to park my car all the way in the front of the complex when my building is in the back. We get notices from the office all the time about how they are enforcing parking and they have a tow truck that services the complex, but it just comes and goes as it pleases with no consistent schedule. Obviously, the guests and residents have caught onto this so everyone thinks its okay to park wherever they please. Everyone had to pay $15 for a resident parking sticker that doesnt even make a difference because people are still not following the rules and are getting away with it. In conclusion, if you are someone who is looking for a decent apartment for a low price and you dont mind the noise and inconsistency with parking, this may be a good place for you.

I can’t say enough good about Avesta Treesdale. They have the most attentive staff out of anywhere I’ve ever lived. Any maintenance issue that I have is typically resolved within hours. Thank you guys for everything you do!

Not a bad apartment complex. Ive lived here for a year and a half so far and the biggest thing Im really happy with is how maintenance will take care of pretty much whatever you raise a concern about. Ive had to do a bunch of maintenance requests as it is an older building, but their speed of handling requests and efficiency with it has really delighted me. The staff at the office knows their job and Ive never had an issue with them. They really encourage you to speak up if you have an issue, rather than just be upset. I appreciate that. Parking can be kind of a pain at times, but its been strangely better lately so thats a plus. Lastly, the prices are decent for the area. Water is included which is really nice.

Parking is getting much better with the new company they have hired. Rooms are large and spacious. Washer &dryer in unit is a big plus. Im single in a one bedroom, and my electricity bills are about 65-70.

Been here 8mo now and no real complaints so far.. Maintenance is quick every time Ive called so far.. Everyone on the staff is friendly.. The parking has been a little sketch lately.. and the grounds could use a little improving if Im being completely honest.. But the insides are nice, I dont have to go to the laundry mat and I have a dishwasher.. lol So for the price Im happy here..

Ive never lived in an apartment before this is my first time and I actually enjoy it I think its a good price for what we get with amenities and all like the fact that I dont have to get out of my house to do laundry my repairs have been on time I havent had any problems with neighbors the only thing would be that we should have assigned parking spaces I always have to park far from my apartment. Other than that its a friendly neighborhood.

This is my second time leasing an apartment home here, and I love it. The management and maintenance team are second to none, particularly when it comes to customer service quality and response time. The rent is very reasonable, especially when you consider what is included (W/D unit, cable, water, sewer/trash) and the school zone in which it is located (Bashaw Elementary, Braden River Middle, Manatee High). It is truly centrally located, commuter convenient, and family friendly. This is where you live until you can afford to purchase a home!

Avesta is a place were i have been looking for in a long time. Its quiet and they are always there when you need them to fix something. At first i heard a lot of bad things about them because of the previous owners but it is such a good place to live i would not move out of here at all. This is were im comfortable and i am positive you will feel the same way.

I like it in here, the only problem sometime is about parking, office staff very professionals and always trying to help with everything. Maintenance are really good and their know their job, i am learning English but when i go there the assistant manager always is ready to help with her translator and that is making you feel better because is showing that they really care about the residents.

We have been here for a little over a month now and love this place! The apartments are spacious and beautiful, the staff is courteous and knowledgeable, and this place feels like a home! So happy we chose this community as our residence!

Although rent is fairly reasonable considering the amenities included (W/D unit, cable, water, sewer/trash), Treesdales office and maintenance staff in regards to customer service has significantly decreased. They never answer the phone or are readily available to assist residents on-site during regular business hours. The overall safety and security has also declined. The staff more specifically the current property manager, Jane, come across as nonchalant and moreover lack understanding and the value of customer service Treesdale once possessed. I would NOT recommend anyone to reside here.

The staff are the best part of this property. The social, ethnic and income diversity doesnt exist. There were children roaming unattended, many beer caps and trash scattered. Its good for section 8.

I love the services that I get from the staff in the office very nice and friendly helpful with everything even when you call for work orders they dont take very long and also they take the time out to sit and hear and understand any problems that I might be having most of all nice community all the neighbors are nice and friendly as well along with the children out here also havent had any problems since Ive been here staying love the staff keep up the good work here at Treesdale apartment.

May 21, 2018 there was a shoot out in this community and one of the rounds went into my apt. When you sign your lease they make you take out rental insurance that is added into your rent but they dont tell you the insurance only covers the building it doesnt cover your personal property. The property mgr Mayulis is very rude and extremely unprofessional and not willing to work with you. Giving the circumstances you would expect some understanding and compassion but she lacks both. I would never recommend anyone to live here. This is by far the worst place I have lived.

This place is a 3rd world prison at best. A dog wouldnt even deficate in these apartments! Ive heard they accept convicted sex offenders as residents! The management are completely worthless and not helpful at all-Ive seen toilets cleaner than the pool they had closed for months! They dont evict tenants with criminal records I also hear, who I am of concern would molest my children! #disgusting

Prior to signing a lease I was given a tour of their model unit and told the apartment I would be renting was exactly like this one. I was not permitted to see the unit I would be renting until I signed a lease, I should have known better but I fell for their bait and switch routine. The apartment I ended up living in did not have the same amenaties as the model such as - a dishwasher nor a working washer and dryer. By this time the original leasing agent that showed me the apartment was no longer working for Avesta and I did not have it in writing that I would be renting a unit with the same amenaties possesed by the model. Soon after moving in the AC stopped working one Summer night around 9 PM! I have 3 small children all under the age of 10, so I immediately called maintenance and requested emergency assistance. Summer nights in FL are often humid and unbearable! I was told this was not an emergency and a someone from maintenance would come check on Monday morning. The temperature in the apartment raised to 97 degrees within 1 hour! I had to take my kids to relatives for the remainder of the weekend. Upon returning Monday I noticed black and blue color spotted all over the ceiling in the walk in closet. It appeared to be mold, I called maintenance to come look at it and they simply PAINTED over the mold! Then there is the issue of your car being towed for seemingly no reason at all, I had a relative park her car in a visitors spot 1 evening while we went out- we returned in the early morning hours and her car was gone! The tow company insisted it had been parked there for more than 4 consecutive days, which was false. She just got into town the day they towed it. After $300.00 I was able to get her car out for her. Many times there arent any open parking spots and Ive been forced to park a half mile down the street at a store to walk home. There are unsupervised young children running the streets, all of which are under 5!!! Around every corner you can smell people smoking weed. The office staff is very RUDE and down right ignorant. The maintenance people all wreak of VODKA and are unprofessional. There was a shooting in the parking lot just 2 days ago in broad daylight, multiple police cars counting bullet casings! Do not move there if you have children, its unsafe to be outside. The cost of rent changes every month - they add random utility charges regularly. The Office manager lives in the building next to the office and is NEVER actually in the office. If anything breaks due to normal wear and tear, be prepared to pay out of pocket. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

I dont like . Bad service. Last month, About 15 days ago my property got robbed. No one has done anything about it. I called and told them about it but still, until right now but nothing. They just told me that i should call the police. The police is always aroumd that area for variosu reasons. Also under maintainence areas, its not so good either. I dont think we should have to call almost every single time constantly for problems in my home. Id like to know who i can call to help me fix this problem abour my home beimg robbed and maintainence. Id also like to know what the insurance is for, damage to property or what because its not very helpful. They werent even available to help me out when i got robbed so due to this i will be anxiously waiting for my lease to be over do i can move out. Not only was it this the problem but some of my neighbors have also had their cars robbed. Ive talked to majulis about this but all she has said was to lock the car and close the windows but i dont find that as very helpful at all. I do not recommend anyone live here. It is awful service.

Been calling them since Friday Morning 2/15/2020 to come fix AC and they still have not come to fix it . Temperature inside house is 80 ! I told them i have a baby 5 months old and he’s been fuzzy since and they just say oh yes we will send maintenance guy over . Till today Wednesday 2/19 AC still not working.

The police are called to this place on a regular basis. Ive seen abandoned homes look much nicer than this toilet bowl. Id rather live on the street than ever live in this joint again! Take our advice people: DONT LIVE HERE!! There are plenty of other places you can choose besides this hood rat paradise! People will rip your permit off your car if they hate you here to see you get towed (and the office will have you towed if they see your permit on the inside). People in some of the buildings (those that loiter in the balcony area with no lives and nothing better to do) will call to have you towed, and start stuff with you then vandalize your car when you sleep! Man I dodged a bullet leaving this dump!!!

The worst place to live in Bradenton!!!! Dont do it! We moved in 2014 to this complex and it was horrible! The apartment management are a joke! The apartment we rented was never cleaned before moving in and also the maintenance staff tried to fix everything with spray paint. Will never recommend living at any of this companies properties. I broke my lease just to get out.

The office personnel are friendly courteous and will do their best to provide great customer service relations,although sometimes there is miscommunication between management and leasing agents. for this reason myself and my family was passed up 3 times for transferring into a larger apartment therefore my eldest slept on a couch for 2 months. now that we are finally settled into our apartment getting things fixed in the apartment can take awhile. since they dont have enough maintenance personnel. the maintenance personnel they have are friendly most times and knowledgeable, one person in particular is very friendly and goes beyond and above his job, Patrick Maintenance person. if i need something he does his best to fix or lets office know next business day. even helps if he sees a resident needing to move a heavy object he will help them. even if he is not working and he is still on site.

I saw some tenants smoking marijuana and crack near children! The police are a regular sight at this place, and not for the right reasons! DONT LIVE HERE!Muy mal!!!! No bueno!!! Basura!!!!

Worst place EVER for apartments, more like a slumlord paradise (Avesta Treesdale in Bradenton, FL). Can hear everything through your doors of your apartment, and people are constantly fighting outside; reminds me of the Jerry Springer show in person. Especially building 6. RIght in the heart of Bradentons project/ghetto area. The neighbors are bums who mooch off the government instead of getting real jobs, and are way too curious about what their neighbors are up to. The older people in particular. Half the welfare recipients in Manatee County live here Im pretty sure. Worst mistake ever we made renting here. Our cars got keyed, an uninsured driver hit our car, and the neighbors are pure white trash. Dont move here unless you like being harassed, carry a gun for protection, and like dogs urinating and deficating outside your door! The apartment does nothing about the bad neighbors, just tells you to suck it up pretty much and offers you to move next to other terrible neighbors. No security cameras on site, like the wild west of apartments. Wouldnt be surprised if any of the units contain a brothel in them!
