They claim they charge you for what they pay for there furniture. Well that isn’t the case because they most be shopping at a place in where they get over charged. All the furniture they provide are low quality and used at that but if you damage it then you pay full price for it even if it’s used from the last roommate. The rent is higher because it is full furnished but with cheap furniture. You could go somewhere else and pay less and purchase your furniture and not have to worry about paying for damages for it because it is literally yours. Falcons Pointe fails to realize when things have been used they will break. That is literally how everything works there is no bed chair table that will last forever or have a tiny chip or tear in it after being used for a while. Just don’t go to Falcons pointe they don’t care about you they only care about what’s in your wallet.

This is my second year living at Falcons Pointe and I love it here! This was the only apartment complex that I looked at when I knew I was coming to BGSU, because they have such great amenities. Falcons Pointe also hosts events in the clubhouse that make it super easy to feel welcomed and meet tons of new people! I was matched with 3 random roommates when I moved in and they all became my best friends very quickly. My favorite thing here is that you get your own bathroom and there is a pool as well as a hot tub! The management here is super sweet, helpful, and understanding. I would highly recommend living here at Falcons Pointe!

Falcons Pointe is a great place to live! The amenities that come with Falcons Pointe is the reason why this place is considered one of the best off-campus places to live. Some of the nice things Falcons Pointe offers are the hot tub, weight room, and computer lab, which are open 24 hours a day. The shuttle is another nice thing to have so you dont have to buy a parking pass to park at campus. Overall a great place to live!

Best off-campus housing you can find in BG! My favorite part is the countless amenities they have to offer to make you feel right at home. The gym is HUGE compared to other complexes. Another great part is having your own bathroom. It is nice not having to wait on other people or having to get ready around your roommates schedule. Management is very nice, helpful, and always willing to get to know and work with residents. Overall, just a great place to live!

Theres good and bad to be had at Falcons Pointe; I did live here for several years while I was a student, and I usually had roommates I liked and enjoyed access to the amenities that were available to me while I was a resident. Almost every time I had a maintenance request, it was handled within a couple of days. I was paying a little more than I should have for the space, but I was content with my roommate situation, so I didnt feel like moving yet.Where the one star review comes in is the obscene and ridiculous price gouging on a variety of things. More than once, I got random charges for a variety of things under the guise of maintenance without any evidence of actual work being done in the apartment. More than once, I had to go into the office and fight charges (The most egregious examples were when I fought a charge to replace the blinds when they hadnt been replace and a couch vacuuming charge for cleaning out the sofa when it hadnt been cleaned by anyone from Falcons Pointe. When I fought these charges, I was later told they were dropped because the supposed maintenance hadnt been done, and that someone made a mistake.)They also keep poor records on your account, lumping in these random, miscellaneous charges with your rent, which often meant that I would be unaware that these charges existed until later, when my rent was suddenly short. The worst of it was upon move out. I had taken my furnished room as is in order to move in in time for graduate student orientation. Because of this, the walls were not repainted before I moved in, and the furniture was not replaced. While I wasnt thrilled about this, it had been presented as my only option, since I needed to move in a week before their official move-in date. The mattress provided with the apartment was therefore old and had a hole in it, which I compensated for with a thick mattress cover the duration of my stay at FP. When I asked about it, I was told that the only way to get a new mattress was to pay for it.After move out, I was told (well after the 30 day notice required by the state of Ohio) that I was not only not getting my deposit back, but that they were charging me and all of my roommates literally hundreds of dollars in penalties, cleaning fees, and other fees. They also erroneously charged me for late/incomplete payment of rent, saying that I hadnt paid all of my last months rent because of some outstanding charges to my account that I hadnt been notified about. I continued to fight with them for literal months about these charges, slowly getting them to concede point by point that they couldnt charge me fee x or y because those fees fell under maintenance and normal wear and tear. Among these was a more than $150 fee to replace the mattress (already at least 5 years old by the time of my move out, mostly likely more), and many fees for which Falcons Pointe refused to give me an itemized list, saying that I had already paid them and that they therefore refused to itemize for me. (In actuality, these were the fees that I was charged without notice that they deducted from my rent.) Finally, more than 8 months after I moved out, I paid them a small amount to be done with the situation, as they threatened to send my bill to collections if I didnt pay. I never got my security deposit back, and I was unwilling to fight them in court, since I had already moved to another state by the time that they sent the initial notice.Dont live at Falcons Pointe; the amenities are nice, but you can get a better apartment for less hassle and less money.P.S. Having talked to several other people who live there, almost all of them had similar negative experiences with the same criticisms, before anyone claims this was an isolated incident.

I have been living at Falcon’s Pointe since May of 2017, and it has been nothing but a pleasure living there. My room was spotless upon moving in, and the pamphlet they gave me at the beginning of my move-in held 95% of the information that I needed. Any questions you do have can be taken up with the office staff, who are more than willing to help out.The staff has been nothing but welcoming and kind, and every single maintenance request I have placed has always been taken care of without any hassle given. If an appliance such as the microwave, dishwasher, dryer, etc. breaks down by its own volition/wear-and-tear, it will often be taken care of within a day or so of the maintenance request being sent out.Pretty much, as long as you don’t actively go out of your way to damage your apartment or the appliances that come with it, you will have a great time here. While I have been charged for something once that I had no responsibility/control over, the office team was more than willing to listen to my concerns and was able to work out the issues that I had. Pretty much as long as you actually talk to them and state your concerns, they will be more than happy to provide any help!On top of all this, the complex comes with a very nice pool, a hot tub, a tanning booth, and a 24/7 gym, all of which can be used most days of the year! And the office team routinely puts out snacks and has activities going on, especially around the time of the year it is sorely needed, such as exam week.I truly have had nothing but a good time, and any issues I did happen to have were either of my own fault, were solved very quickly, or were so minimal that it could barely be considered problems at all.

I moved into Falcon’s Pointe May of 2015 and have been here since. From the day I had my tour the Falcon’s point staff has been very helpful. The girl that showed me the apartment was very helpful and new an answer to every question I had. Move in day was a breeze, I stopped by the club house and was welcomed with warming smiles. I got to the apartment and it wasn’t the style I wanted, but it was nice. I went to room and my key worked fine. The room was completely clean and so was the bathroom. Throughout the time I’ve lived here I’ve needed so help from maintenance, but I never had to wait more than a day except for move in day which is understandable. I can honestly say that the maintenance people have a lot of respect for people’s privacy and sleep. There have been times that I’ve been napping and they’ve come in fixed what they need to fix and have been gone and never made a sound. I myself a person who values my sleep really appreciates it. If you are a person looking for a great place to stay and don’t mind roommates this is the place to be!

Pretty great experience overall (3 years, 3 different apartment units, 3 different sets of 3 other roommates). Each time Ive gotten furnished, though I wouldnt say that the up in price for the furnishings is worth it. Better to buy your own stuff if you plan on staying for more than a year. Falcons Pointe staff has never been an issue, and the quality of the interior is above par. For the price, it seems to beat anything else in Bowling Green. Id highly recommend it. Gas/Electric averages $40-50 a share (so $160+ per unit), just to give an idea for those costs. Be sure to try to get the handicap-accessible room, if you want to maximize your room space. The extra 20 sq. ft. mean a lot. One thing I really liked was your ability to drill holes into the walls. As long as you fill em in with toothpaste or whatever else is on-hand, there is no charge.Edit: Just fyi, Gabe Jones worked at Falcons Pointe for 2-3 years. Im surprised he didnt disclose that important fact when writing his review.

Falcons Pointe is literally the worst place to live in BG only because of the money hungry staff. Yes, they provide a lot of things such as the pool but so does other places as well. They literally charge for everything even when you put in work orders for REGULAR maintenance. They go up in rent every year, which makes you really question what are you even paying for when they smack your account with multiple fees. Also let’s speak of the fees. They charge whatever price they feel like it. Me and my roommate have different fees for the same the same thing. Also they claim there is a bar in the fridge missing and they are charging $17 to everyone. What bar is the fridge is worth $68, please tell me !!! And I will stop. We have been in the apartment for 3 years. Not once did they come update the apartment. Other places got new couches but we still had the same old looking dirty couches. The apartment had normal wear and tear and they didn’t bother to update the apartment even when we had someone moving in.Also I had a credit to my account and they took money from my account without telling me for miscellaneous fees. The office is very money hungry and I feel as if it is some type of finessing going on in the office. They charge for certain things because it is “work that they have to do” well your on the clock and it’s your job to keep YOUR apartment complex up to date. Employees sit around and do nothing anyway. Living here was already a problem. Now that I moved out and made sure that my apartment is spotless and I am getting smacked with all types of outrageous cleaning fees is ridiculous. I HATE GIVING MONEY TO THOSE TYPE OF PEOPLE.

I enjoy living here. There are a lot of great amenities that college students get in their rent and the rent is fairly affordable for a furnished unit with the shuttle to and from campus, the pool and hot tub, the tanning, and the 24 hour gym. Any requests to get anything fixed is done in a timely manner. The only downside is that sometimes it is hard to get in contact with the office through e-mail, and the communication could be better. The week I moved in from another unit due to terrible roommate problems (which Molly was very helpful with), some of the leasing professionals who are college students could not provide me with any information on what day of the week I would be moving in like they had the first time I moved in (they gave me a certain day and time the first time, whereas this time they only told me it would be between Monday-Thursday so I had to call off work all of those days incase I was moving in because I only had 24 hours to do so). They also failed to tell me that new carpet was being installed in my unit (my new roommates told me) and that I would probably be moving in that Friday (which was not a day I could get off of work because I was told it would be Monday through Thursday). But Molly was very helpful and was able to get our new carpet put in that Thursday morning so I could move in Thursday afternoon. Anything I need help with I go to Molly who is the property manager because she is willing to do whatever she can to keep her residents happy.

The rent at Falcon’s Pointe (FP) is unreasonable with the space and experience provided. If I could go back and choose a different apartment, I would have. The staff does not care and will not accommodate for anything. They were friendly, but no helpful. The only response you’ll get is “I’m sorry, we can’t help you with that.” Maintenance is great, but sometimes they come into your space unannounced. You’re supposed to get a notice for when they come, but that didn’t happen all the time. They were in my room once while I was gone and my roommate contacted me to let me know.FP charged me for damages that were there when I first moved in, but I had no proof of that so make sure you take pictures of EVERYTHING before you move in because they will find a way to rob you. So many people gave me a heads up about this, but I didn’t listen. I tried to fight to be reimbursed for damages that I did not cause, but I just got pushed away and “warned” that I would have a hold on my credit if I didn’t pay up. So they took my whole $100 deposit for damages and made me pay $40 extra because I guess my damages were that much. Mind you, all I did was sleep there because my schedule was so busy. So how could I cause so many damages? The damages were petty too. They charged me for a paint job that they’d have to do anyway for everybody’s place because the paint was clearly cheap. If you touch the wall, it’ll stain. This is a genuine review because I want people to be aware of my experience. This is not my full experience, just some of the more important things. I was very patient and respectful with everyone, but that didn’t help much. If you do choose to stay here, just be careful about things and make sure you have pictures/evidence of your space. I will say that there are great benefits of staying here like the shuttle, gym, pool, furniture and some paid utilities. I just personally feel that those benefits were not worth the experience that came with it. Thank you!

Awful place to live. Unless you enjoy the smell of dying pigs due to the slaughter house directly behind the apartment complex this place is not for you. If youre one of the lucky residents that move in, you may be fortunate enough to have a 5 star view of dead pigs being fork lifted into truck beds and buried among the left over guts that are not used from the pigs that do get slaughtered. If thats not reason enough to move in youll most definitely enjoy the constant pig screams that come in the middle of the night when truck loads of pigs get delivered a few times each week. This is in no way an animal rights spiel its just a friendly warning that youll receive no warning or help from management on those issues, dont be fooled by all the five stars ratings. Those are just employees who probably get some type of incentive to type a nice review in order to raise the rating.

I do not recommend living at Falcons Pointe. The complex is right next to a slaughterhouse, so if youre unlucky, youll be placed in an apartment next to it and youll hear the screams of dying animals. (they sound like people FYI).Also, the current property manager is probably the rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She is confrontational, uncivil and believe it or not, bratty. She is also extremely careless with money so you better keep good track of your payments. How she ever got the job of property manager, a job where its someones responsibility to deal with residents, is beyond me. All of the 5 star reviews are more then likely from her and her staff. Now, if you still want to move in, dont worry about limited availability. With the rate that Falcons Pointe evicts people, there are always available rooms. But dont believe them when they say theyre the best option in BG. There are better, cheaper places with non-monstrous managers to pick from.

Room was absolutely filthy upon move in, there was literally no way they vacuumed because there were sunflower seeds on the carpet. The place also has to be wiped down weekly because a grime will build up from God knows what (proven fact as I cleaned before vacation once and it was like I never had when I returned) The reviews about the slaughter house are completely true and regardless of what management claims; the sounds of pigs squealing happens more than a few times a week and the trees/fence dont block the sound at all. The apartment may be cheap but you get what you pay for and for another $100 or so a month you can do way better. This place was so cheap and filthy I actually bought a house a few months into my lease just to move out and not end up somewhere similar again. Unfortunately, even though my lease is paid off, Ive been informed by their employees that cutting my loses and turning in keys early isnt allowed. Very doubtful Ill see my deposit because these kind of places tend to find an excuse for keeping it. Best of luck if you end up here.

Update (7/23/2019):I was contacted and asked to meet with a Property Manager to discuss my concerns based on my original and updated google review. I decided to meet with them. During this meeting Myself, the Property Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and another staff member discussed my various concerns about living at FP. For the 1st time someone finally acknowledged and apologized for the issues I was having. During this conversation the Maintenance Supervisor outlined areas where he felt he dropped the ball a little bit. The Property Manger explained the recent transition of Maintenance Supervisors, and acknowledged that they were still getting some things fully transitioned, such as routine maintenance. The Maintenance Supervisor discussed how closing any gaps that existed in routine maintenance is his goal right now, and what steps he has been taking to ensure that. We also discussed my issues with early move in for grad students. I was told that they in fact were not aware about grad students need to move in early and apologized that someone told me they were aware of it. We talked about opportunities for the future. I still think there is room for improvement but I appreciate them taking the time to talk about my issues, versus having someone call me who is not fully prepared to have the in depth conversation that was needed and essentially just say the script theyve memorized to say.Original Post (original rating: 1 star):Horrible experience living here, claim to be student housing but are not student friendly. As a graduate student last year I told them I was required to move in 1 week early due to orientation, they said we know that grad students start sooner than everyone but we dont allow you to move in early. As i have lived here for almost a year they have failed to upkeep routine maintenance which has caused issues in my apt unit with the dryer. Now i have been without air for the 2nd time in 2 weeks for multiple days because they did not properly fix the issue the first time. Avoid living here at all costs!Update (7/12/2019):Today I received a call from the front office checking to see how the repair is holding up, in addition they wanted to discuss my google review. They asked in what ways could they ensure that the remainder of my lease (about 2.5-3 weeks) could be pleasant and what additional feedback I had. I further elaborated on the points I made in this review. I got a lot of push back from the office worker, with excuses and explanations etc. I get it shes just doing her job and doing what a property manager asked her to do, in reality they should have had a property manager call me. She reminded me that they provided my unit with a free standing a/c unit while they were making the repairs (it should be noted i had to ask for them to find a way to accommodate us to get the standing unit to begin with, it was not offered out right and was only provided on the second a/c outage) but I had already explained to the maintenance person that the standing a/c only kept the living room cool and none of the bedrooms and on the last day before the a/c got fixed our thermostat was reading the apt at 85 degrees with with standing unit on and we were essentially told that was the best they could do. Each day the a/c was out I had to contact the office to get an update because they kept telling us we hope to get it fixed tomorrow, we hope to get it fixed tomorrow, we have to call a private company to fix it, etc. Overall after the conversation with the office staff, I still hold firm to my original statement, if you can avoid this place do it.

It is hard to find an apartment complex in Bowling Green that is 100% accommodating. There are few things that I like about this complex such has having a free shuttle, pool/hot tub, and gym. Besides that, I will say that living here has been a terrible experience. Everything within the apartment is cheap, poorly constructed, and is prone to break easily. Within this time period we have had our washer/dryer and microwave replaced, our sink flood into the kitchen, and our hot water tank break down twice leaving us with no hot water. Both management and maintenance run slow and are rather inconsiderate. On the outside looking in, it may seem like the best place to stay in BG. However, I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

The whole experience of living at Falcons Pointe was ruined during the period of move out. The facility itself is nice but during the move out process someone sliced my bed with what appeared to be a knife. I contacted staff who said the manager would talk to me, never heard anything back and just paid them the money so I would not be sent to collections. Not only did they not secure the room upon move out they wanted me to pay for a brand new bed from what was clearly vandalism. The website wants you to believe that they are not like the other companies in Bowling Green that rent to students, but they are and they are just after your money.

Not too many complaints regarding the complex, besides that the apartments were cheaply made and dirty at move-in. However, the staff there are absolutely awful. When we moved out, we were billed to replace the carpet, along with other miscellaneous charges. When we moved in, all 4 of us marked on our inspection sheet that there were burn holes throughout the carpeting. We tried to reason with the office staff, but obviously wrongfully withholding deposits is how they operate their business. They refused to take the carpet charge off, EVEN after examining our inspection sheet which noted the holes. This essentially left us with a $2,000 bill at move-out, which was sent to collections... Also, any time I would go into the office, I could see their staff reading through reviews of their business online. Weird. Do that privately.

Ive lived at the complex for two years and dont have any horrible complaints. The only real problem that weve had is HUGE spiders in the fall (because we live on the ground floor). The maintenance team is wonderful, but unfortunately no matter how many times they sprayed our apartment the spiders still came in. If anything needs repaired, however, the team is quick to respond. As far as the staffing goes, they are always friendly and polite. If/when there are issues, they are always eventually helpful. Because this complex like any other is demand-orientated, rent goes up every year (unless you are resigning). You can very easily find other perfectly fine apartments closer to campus/downtown for much cheaper, but you get what you pay for.

Worst experience of renting an apartment so far! They have no idea what I had put on the roommate matching sheets. If you never guaranteed you can assign me to a place based on my preference, please tell me directly and dont let me fill out the sheets as if you are so considerate of my choice. Perfunctory staff dealing with your applications! They claimed that they have to take almost one month to clean the room for you before you move in, yet the cleaning and fixing are also quite perfunctory though they charged you the rent of one month only for preparing the apartment for you.I dont understand why so many people in the fb group want to get rid of their lease until I lived there. Dont trust they have only limited rooms left and their apartments are such a popular spot. Always seeing people cannot stand here and move out all year around. Avoid here if you unless you really enjoy staying in the poorly managed hostels.

I havent had any problems. Most of these reviews are either sucking up to the staff or complaining about the staffs behaviour. I have had NO problems over my 2 year stay here. Maintenance is good, they arrive within a week if its not a critical issue, and they are pretty professional. It is a bit expensive given the amount of people split in the units 1400+ per month for a small 4 person unit, not the best. They foot the bill for water and internet.

DO NOT RENT AT THIS APARTMENT! (1) There are a lot of places that are so much cheaper in Bowling Green. (2) My roommate moved her boyfriend in our apartment and the management didnt dod anything about it. I had to move out for my own safety. (3) They try to charge you for everything that they didnt fix in the first place. I lived there for two years and they never took into account that in those two years, they never updated the rooms but tried to charge us because of that. (4) Stuff would go out. My toilet broke like 3 times, and I had to wait to wait until they could fix it. They run out of hot water. Sometimes they dont follow protocol and will just come in your apartment without your permission. This is next to a pig slaughterhouse so you can hear the pigs screaming at night. And it smells really bad sometimes depending on when they slaughter pigs. DONT DO IT! Go to Enclave or even look at private owners. This is not close to campus at all. One time the shuttle driver wasnt there so I had to find another ride to campus, it was horrible.

If you are moving into your first apartment , searching can be a daunting task no doubt about it . The good news for you is that if you like having your own personal space and you do not like pooping in the same bathroom as your roommates, then the Falcons point is for you. Of course like anything else in life, you can always find something to complain about, so take that with a grain of salt as reading all of these reviews. Personally the best part about Falcons point is that our leases are all separate per room within the apartment. So You wont run into the classic case of one of your roommates moving out and it effects your rent. That is a giant upside to living in Falcon. Maintenance comes fairly quickly and they are happy to help. The front desk has people working the phone that can answer questions and they call back most of the time if for whatever reason they couldnt answer. Like any place you go, in life are you likely to have a miscommunication on the phone, a broken sink, or annoying neighbors. Yes.lol but NEWS FLASH people you are gonna have that no matter where ya live. And if you have any of these problems, rest assured, Falcons front desk will accommodate. When choosing a place to live I personally like falcon because The shuttle Driver his name is Dallas. He picks me up every day and takes me to class. Who could complain about that . That is a privilege. yes part of your cost of living goes into this service but it is an amenity that is provided with well thought out intention to the people living here. The pool and hot tub and the gym are cool , can you get these amenities in other places , yes. But, as I can only speak for Falcons Pointe, I can at least say they do a ship shape job of maintaining and providing these amenities . Also I would like to point out that you can go on a free yes FREE that spells free, tour of falcon and get an idea of what it is like. Of course yes, they are going to take you to a unit that is specifically for show , but When people move out of each unit they take the time to go in and make it as good as new. That being said If you were a moron and made a dent in the wall or broke your blinds and didt put that on the damage report when you moved in , then yes they will charge you for it. PSA treat your things nicely then. If it was there when you moved in they will not charge you, but they are not mind readers , so unless you tell them they will hold you accountable. They are running a business . They operate to make profit. Thats gonna be any place you live. So in the end if there is damage, someones gotta pay for it thats life. Thats what a security deposit is for as well. Yes there might be weird smells in your apartment . If that is the case, I can gaurentee it wont be the front desks fault. So keep in mind if you call them with an attitude youll probably get an attitude back. That is not poor customer service, that is called what goes around comes around. I did not even know we lived next to a pig slaughter house until reading these comments lol. Do you eat bacon? or Pork , or hot dogs? well they gotta produce them from somewhere. But if it upsets you that where YOU chose to live is next to a slaughter house ( which again i never even noticed we did because you cant tell lol) then you should have done your research before moving in . There are obviously downsides to living here , its not that close to the bars or campus but neither are a lot of the places . And yes you may have some faulty appliances but you cant predict when something will break . Ans they will replace it for you if need be .

I have lived at Falcon’s Pointe for almost 2 years and I have had a great experience. We have had several maintenance requests throughout my time living here and they always came in a timely manner to fix the issues. Everything is kept clean and tidy including landscaping, the pool and the clubhouse. Kitchen appliances are updated and there is a washer and dryer in each unit. The only thing I think they should consider is to stop increasing the rent so much. Mine hasn’t gone up above $350/month since I signed my lease back in December of 2015 but the same unit I am in now is $400/month. It is nice that nearly everything is included in the rent (water, internet, trash) but since they are targeting college kids no one is going to want to live here if they keep raising rent and there are plenty of other apartments in the area that are significantly cheaper. But overall, I would recommend living here to BGSU students!

After living here for only 3 short months, I already plan to renew my lease for the next year! What really sold me was having my own bathroom! The gym and pool are never too busy and I love that the hottub is open year round. The office does such a great job with roommate matching. I was skeptical at first, but my roommates have become some of my best friends. The staff there is extremely nice and is always there when I need questions answered! Thank you Falcons Pointe for making my time here in BG a home away from home!

I do not write reviews often but I feel very compelled to do so in this case. If you are actively searching for a place to live in Bowling Green stay as far away from Falcons Pointe as possible. From the surface it looks like a very accommodating place to live. The staff seems very friendly, there are some nice perks and amenities like the swimming pool, hot tub, etc. and this is true to an extent. However, when it comes to customer service this organization has zero interest in working with the tenants. As an individual who consistently paid on time for 2 and a half years ($350 a month), I feel as though i was treated only as an addition to the bottom line. There were multiple circumstances where my roommates and I felt as though we did our due diligence, such as work orders to get things around the apartment fixed, only to have maintenance come through with a lackluster effort or none whatsoever. We were later tagged with a fee on our accounts at the end of the month. There were many other small instances where there could have just been some leniency in my opinion from a customer service standpoint. In fact, toward the end of my tenure I was explicitly told that the staff had found someone to take over my room for the last month of rent (I had moved home for a new job). I was alleviated of my responsibility to pay my last account balance until further notice. Well, there was no notice until I was mailed a full bill along with some late fees for not paying the balance. The individual had backed out and I received no phone calls, emails or any notice whatsoever. I had once again explained my case to middle management but it was clear that they were unwilling to work with me. I tried to get in contact with senior management in Wisconsin multiple times as they, do not like to be bothered on these issues and finally, once reached, they were happy to pro-rate my account.I believe Falcons Pointe is fully aware of the high demand for places to live and they take advantage of every opportunity to earn another penny. No need to earn someones loyalty when new business will be floating in the door within minutes of the last tenants departure.I really wish I could be sitting here writing about my delightful experience but in all sincerity the service was well below my expectations and I will never recommend anyone look to rent here. Thanks for nothing Falcons Pointe. I am ecstatic that I can finally say I am done dealing with all of you.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I lived in falcon pointe for 3 years and it was the worst time of my life. They add extra charges onto your account without telling you. Let’s just say they are the president of finessing. They will try to get money out of you in every way possible. They up’ed the rent each year and didn’t update anything in our apartment. The bedrooms are literally the size of a dog cage. Management isn’t helpful at all either. Then once we moved out they charged hella unnecessary fees for things that they do whenever anyone move out. There’s other places to live at in BG for cheaper than this dump. Only good thing about this place is the hot tub and sometimes that’s even raggedy like management. Don’t do it......

Falcons Point has a lot of potential. However, with the unprofessionalism of the Assistant Manager this place is not the ideal place to reside. I signed my lease here in 2017 with the impression of being valued and handled with respect, patience, and kindness. If you choose to sign a lease here prepare yourself to be attacked verbally and to feel inferior. There has been numerable of incidents where I personally felt attacked and unvaluable here and no one who is paying rent at this apartment complex should ever feel that way. Theres a lot of issues at Falcons Pointe such as disguesting hallways, the shuttle bus not running due to drivers being late to work, break ins by local pedophiles, unplowed snow during the winter season, slipping on ice due to the lack of salt being placed down, and of course and most importantly, the disrespect the residents are given. Residents dont have an opinion nor voice here because nothing you say will ever been considered or listened to.

I held a lease with Falcons Pointe for two years.LOCATION:Not ideally situated for college students with no car. The shuttles are nice--but they dont run all day so you must schedule around them. A drive to campus took 15 minutes one way. This is something to keep in mind if being close to campus is really important to you.THE APARTMENTSThe bedrooms are smaller, but they have their own bathroom which is what initially attracted me to the complex. It is a newer build, but it was obviously very cheaply made and furnished with very cheap appliances. During my time there the microwave broke, several lights when out, the disposal stopped working, the kitchen sink leaked, the dishwasher leaked and never cleaned adequately, the toilet paper dispenser fell off the wall, the divider between the hardwood and carpet let go, and most frustrating: the dryer never, ever worked. It took nearly 3 cycles to achieve slightly damp status. Maintenance was no use at all (keep reading). The people who live there are sometimes a little sketchy. Like, cop cars parked outside your building watching you sketchy. The walls are quite thin and the tenants below us had late night parties--they received violations and even had the cops called but management did very little to stop it. Which brings me to my next point...THE MANAGEMENT:The office folks are very friendly until you hold them accountable as landlords or mention the obvious problems with the units. The people there are very young and have no real authority to fix or improve anything--only argue the terms of your lease or threaten you with fines.MAINTENANCE:You call them and they show up within 24 hours with their tool kits and their dirty boots tromping on your carpet. They spend about 15 minutes muttering and screwing around, then leave. Two days later its broken again! We called at least 5 times to have the dryer fixed. Finally they told us that, middle units usually dont have very good vents so they dont dry well. Why would you rent out an apartment with a washer/dryer that doesnt work!? I We started hanging up clothing to dry instead. Eventually we stopped calling maintenance when things inevitably broke again. Why bother?ROOMMATE MATCHING:Not excellent. An empty room gets filled with whoever applies. I got lucky the first year, but had a complete slob move in the second. I have lots of friends who dont like their roommates either and some who dont pay utilities. Beware.RENT:Rent has steadily increased every year that I can remember. It was $10 cheaper the year before I got there. Then increased the following year and the one after that. They purchased the Enclave and renamed it the Edge, so it may have something to do with that. I havent seen any improvements to the units themselves to account for the cost increase.EVERYTHING ELSE:I signed my lease in 2014 and by the time that I moved in they had repainted all of the buildings bright green. Im not crazy about it and I wish I had known about it before moving in. They also proceeded to paint the neighboring complex an even more obnoxious shade of pumpkin orange. It was like a beacon for trashy young people...There are always plenty of parking spaces which is really nice! People can come over and visit without worrying that their cars will get towed (unlike many other apartments in BG). But they also dont tow the rust bucket cars which have been there for years and years. The parking lots often have a lot of broken glass scattered around so dont wander around barefoot or walk your dog here. During the winter they neglect to salt or shovel the walk ways so its can be quite dangerous! I fell a lot.The back stairway to my building was absolutely putrid. Broken glass, beer cans, dried vomit, half-smoked cigarettes, cups and bottles containing used chewing-tobacco and the ever-present stench of marijuana were everywhere. The pool is mostly a place for college kids to hang out and drink. I wouldnt consider it a family friendly space. I would prefer a dryer that works over a resort style pool.
