Tyse Tutoring was very bennificial in improving my writing skills in ways that I was not able to acquire through school. The one on one learning and feedback drastically improved my ability to get my point across through writing and capture the purpose of the paper. I worked with Blair as both a tutor for my regular classes, and a tutor for the testing you need to get into college such as the ACT. Blair was always trying to find new ways for me to make learning in the classroom easier. When she tutored me about the ACT she found my strengths in the different subjects, and showed me ways to thrive on the test that were completely personalized to me. Blair tutored all of my siblings and me for math, science and standardized testing. For me, from 7th grade to 11th grade. Sometimes in school students don’t get the one on one time with a teacher that they need to fully understand a topic. Blair was there to help me. The tutoring style and system was very in depth helping the student get a thorough understanding of standardized tests and useful strategies. Along with this the student receives practice test for homework weekly accompanied by detailed talk throughs of what and why certain things were wrong.

I worked with Blair in 2017 and she definetly knows what she is doing. I did fairly decent on the practice SAT, prior to working with her. However, after working with Blair and taking the SAT my score was 200 points higher.
