I had an extremely positive experience with Dr. Boynton and would absolutely recommend him and his practice. My dentist detected that my implant may have had an issue. She recommended that I see a periodontist. It ended up that I was carrying an infection, for up to 31 years, as during the original procedure, the root had never been removed. I was having severe health issues, as a result of this infection. Now that the root and the old implant are out and the new one is in, I am on the path to healing. I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Boynton. In terms of my experience, Dr. Boynton has a calm, kind and confident disposition. I never felt rushed. He answered each and every question, his team was super helpful and responsive and the office was very clean and well organized.

I have been to Boulder Implants and Periodontics for both an implant and oral surgery. Both experiences were first class. I cannot say enough about Dr. Boynton. His procedures are meticulous and painless, and he invests time sincerely getting to know his patients. Each time I leave his office, I find myself wishing that he were my regular dentist.

Excellent. Dr. Boynton and the staff are very professional and do a great job. They walked me through all of the costs and everything that was going to need to happen be before I committed to anything. Additionally, I was nervous about how painful the work could be, and they were great about answer all of my questions.

In short, I could not be happier with the process and most importantly with the final implant results. After my first consultation with Dr. Boynton I realized three things: he is very thoughtful, he uses the latest technology and he has a lot of experience.Post surgery there was no swelling and I had no pain, and I believe that is in part because I followed with precision the instructions he gave me (again, I think his experience made the difference). Also, post surgery Dr. Boynton followed-up personally with me to check that I was doing well.Dr. Boynton also worked closely with my dentist to ensure the quality of the entire procedure.I believe Dr. Boyntons work is high quality and I highly recommend him.

AMAZING TEAM OF DENTAL PROFESSIONALS! My review comes from spending three days of continuing education with their new team members and helping the office improve the daily workflow of the office. Dr. Jonathan Boynton and his team are committed to the patient experience and he works closely with the general dentist to ensure everyone is in the loop about the patient care. If I or anyone I knew was in need of periodontal care or dental implants, I would refer them to Boulder Implants & Periodontics.

I’ve had to have some pretty complicated work done at Dr. B’s office and I cannot tell you how reassuring it is so have a doctor that cares as much about your health and dental experience as he does. Dental work can be difficult and scary, but he is totally in thisprocess with you every step of the way. He takes great pride in providing the highest quality work possible to give you the best possible outcome. Both he and his admin have worked with me to figure out my insurance (since most main stream dental insurance is what it is— awful) and they do also offer CareCredit, which was a big deal for me. The work I had done included two implants, bone and tissue grafting. The technical procedures themselves were not easy ones due to the nature of my injuries so seeing that Dr. B was excited and up to the challenge was a massive relief. His work is truly worth it. If you want a doc who cares as much about your face/dental health as you do, this is the doc for you.

I met Dr. Boynton several years ago when he helped me with my gum problems. He is top notch, communicates well, and has the best touch I have ever experienced from a dentist. He gives me good & realistic advice which I appreciate.Dr. Boyntons hygienist, Thao, is amazing as well. She is the best I have experienced in my 68 years of getting my teeth cleaned. Thao is really thorough, pleasant company, and also has a great touch. I hope she stays here a long time. Its like a miracle to me that they are both in the same office.

Dr. Boynton, Nikki, and his whole team are extremely personable, thorough, professional, and responsive. They took care of all of my needs and exceeded my expectations every time. He is very efficient with the allotted time and I never felt a thing during each procedure. Just through the service and work that they provide I rate them 5 stars. I cant rate them any higher... but I would! Because they are good caring people too. Dr. Boynton and his staff truly care about their patients and their well being. Im eternally grateful for their work that they provided.

I am giving Dr Boynton staff 1 star just because there isnt away for me to give them a 10 minus in rating. Like they deserve a minus and they need to either all go back to training or get a new staff period. i have seen bad customer service and i work in a call center so believe me when i am telling you that office need to change their ways of doing stuff. The first issue is when you call them please start by asking if they are in network or not with your insurance that will save you a lot of trouble and i am pretty sure they dont even know that answer because they will tell you we take all insurance. Accepting an insurance doesnt mean you are in network with them.Second thing is the way their accountant, billing person i dont know what to call her but the way she will keep coming to you with bills while you are seated on the chair with the doctor to tell you this is how much you need to pay before you can continue your appointment. So unprofessional. If you are not certain that the person the doctor will see wont be able to pay the charged why cant you start by telling that person what is the fee for a doctors appointment before going in??? Such a bad experienceThe third thing is about their billing process. on my first appointment i got presented with a bill of $1300,00 and they told me we can work a payment plan on that. I didnt realized that i was being charged for service they will never bill my insurance for. In back of my mind i taught periodontal services is expensive . My first visit was in December 2018 and in early January i went back for another appointment and got an explanation of benefits from my insurance for that second appointment and realized that Boynton periodontics are not in network with my insurance that is when i started wondering why i never received the first EOB for my first visit on December. So i called my insurance and they advised me that the only got billed for an office visit and an X-Ray so i asked them if they never received a bill for a periscope(endoscope) i had and another treatment they said no.I called Dr Boynton office back to get some clarification and i got the wait time of my life. Can you guys believe that an office like that dont know what a super bill is? or a key in invoice? They send me an email with a document they are calling ledger but looks like it was created by a third grader...i will just stop there because every time i think about it i can not believe i was so stupid for a person who works for a medical insurance company. I ask them to at least give me procedure code and diagnoses code i got billed for so i cam check with my insurance if it will be covered but the lady i was dealing with took a month to get back to me after calls and emails.I ended up filling a grievance with my insurance maybe if they investigate that office they will be able to get more information that was never able to get. And i am not done yet, i will complain to the state if i have too.It is so sad to see these kind of behavior because i took the same treatment plan i got offered by Boynton periodontics that was costing me $2400,00 to a different Dr and the price was only going to cost me $600,00. Yes, i was chocked as you areA little piece of advise reader, please shop around. Rather pay an office visit of $50 dollars to find out what the cost of your treatment will be than have my experience.Update below:After talking to DR Boynton we were able to resolve the problem. The issue was a lack of communication. But he was so nice and took he time to meet me and talk to me, i appreciated his time and i respect him. The 4 start will only be for the communication that wasnt set up properly

Im not sure whats worse about Dr. Boyntons office - their utter incompetence or complete indifference to patients & their concerns. While my surgery was successful & I didnt have complications, I shouldnt have to choose between technical proficiency & basic patient care. A good doctors office offers the package deal; this is not that office.I had a gum graft procedure at Dr. Boyntons office in April 2018. I had a consultation & scheduled my procedure a few months later. About 7 to 10 days prior to my surgery, I emailed the office, as I had yet to hear from anyone there with instructions about what medications to stop & when prior to my procedure.I opted for IV sedation, the anesthesiologist was supposed to contact me the night before my procedure with instructions. I sat by my phone all day - he never called. I had to call my own mother (a nurse), for instructions as to how late I could eat/drink so that I could take the pre-meds. This did not instill confidence in Boynton or his associates.I awoke the following morning to a frantic email & text message from Boyntons office, telling me not to eat or drink anything, that it was URGENT that I call them. When I called, I asked why it was that I never heard from anesthesiologist - I was told that HE WROTE MY PHONE NUMBER DOWN INCORRECTLY! The receptionists put the anesthetist on the phone & he was short-tempered, cutting me off mid-sentence & scolding me as I tried to express my frustration. At this point, I was a few hours away from surgery & considered cancelling my appointment.Upon arrival at the office, I was immediately ambushed by billing, asking if we could pay $1500. No notice, & just before I was to go under the knife. This seemed highly unprofessional, however I obliged.Boyntons office sent me home with a folder of post-op instructions - most of which were out of date & not pertaining to my specific surgery, a fact I would have never learned had we not called the office to ask a question. How hard is it to provide your patients with up-to-date post-op instructions?!After surgery, when I asked what signs I should be looking for to make sure the wounds were healing correctly, I was told Dont look. If you move your lip, you can displace the tissue graft. They were condescending & made me feel stupid for simply asking for information about my procedure & trying to be proactive with my recovery. My post-op interactions with Boyntons office were no less infuriating. The plastic mouthguard I had to wear was made with an air bubble that caused pain & discomfort. When I raised this issue, Dr. Boynton first told me to fix it myself, before finally agreeing to fix it for me, nearly 3 days later. When I called the week after surgery with a question, I was told someone would call me back the same day, which never happened. When I returned to Boyntons to get my stitches removed, the nurse initiated the process without using any numbing agent; it was not until they were halfway through that Dr. Boynton offered this option to me.Just this week did we settle billing with them, 8 months post-surgery! We received incorrect statement after incorrect statement. It seems there is no one in their office that even *slightly* understands billing or insurance: The first time around, they submitted the info to our insurance company incorrectly; the claim was rejected. We then spent hours calling our insurance company, calling & emailing Boyntons office. When we finally discovered that our insurance covered the lions share of the procedure & we were owed a $1000+ refund from Boyntons office, we received a begrudging email from billing, informing us that they will discontinue accepting our insurance! Great, because I can assure you, I never want to step foot in that office again.Even when all goes well, gum grafting is a painful procedure. I did not feel I was in good hands, my concerns were met with incompetence & indifference every step of the way; I deserved better. I will never return & would never recommend this office to anyone.

We had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Dr. Boynton. We rarely review anything online, but we felt motivated to do so in this case.My wife had a complex periodontal case, with multiple issues. Rather than our typical dental assembly-line experience, we were delighted by the sensitive, patient, compassionate attention, aside from the consummate professional and technically excellent care.Dr. Boynton and his team were not hurried or superficial. While thorough and efficient, they really took the time to listen to, evaluate and discuss our concerns.Dr. Boynton went out of his way to make sure our questions were all answered, and wanted us to be as completely informed as we wished to be. This made us feel like full partners in our treatment plan. His facilities are immaculate, and well-outfitted. As an engineer, it was a treat to be shown my wifes head CT scan images. The CT machine is in the office, and the imaging software seemed like Science Fiction; we looked at different cross-sections of her sinuses. We believe the professional skill and attention to detail shown in the care my wife received made all the difference in the success of our procedure. The friendly, gentle, genuine, personable and compassionate care she received made all the difference in our emotional and spiritual satisfaction. No one should ever aspire to need to visit a periodontist, but if you should need one, this is the one.

I had been putting off gum graft surgery for 2 years because of the stories I had heard from friends about how painful it is.I can honestly say I had minimal discomfort from my procedure with Dr Boynton. And I had 6 teeth grafted!I kept waiting for the pain to start and it never did. I didnt need any of the prescription painkillers and used Aleve for 2 days post surgery. Dr Boynton and his team were great, called me the evening after the procedure to see how I was doing. Was very happy with the care I received.

Dr. Boynton and his office staff are all thoroughly kind, professional, and extremely competent. All the work I’ve had him do was really excellent, and he and his staff were so thoughtful of my comfort. Tina, the receptionist, really takes care to find out what each patient needs in the way of care (do you like warm water, etc.?) and makes sure you know that the staff is interested in doing well by you. I was always afraid of dentists, but I’ve gotten very comfortable with Dr. Boynton and his office. This is good, because I need to have 4 cleanings a year and quite a bit of work on my teeth; now I can look forward to the cleanings and even surgery without worry.I recommend Dr. Boynton very highly, both for quality of care and for compassion.
