We are so grateful for Haglin! They were very responsive and worked us in quickly since we needed to have the car for a trip. They are professional and honest and the communications were very thoughtful. We really appreciate their attention to detail and explanations for what needed to be done. We are new to the Boulder area and Haglin will be our go-to place whenever our car needs service.

My daughter was in Boulder for the summer and heard a noise from her brakes. Haglin auto did a complete inspection and determined no repairs were needed. Every time I called for questions or updates, they were extremely kind and helpful. They allow you to pick up your car after hours which helped me a lot. Their online system for viewing recommended service on your car is also extremely convenient and user-friendly. I had a transmission fluid exchange and flush done, and my car runs as good as new. The cost was a little more expensive than what I’m used to, but the quality of service was good so I didn’t mind as much.

I blew my spare tire on a Sunday afternoon and parked in front of the car wash near Haglin, but didnt know about the shop or anything in the area. I returned the next day on a bmx bike knowing I had tires and the original rim in my trunk that could be mounted, but thought I would have to bicycle with those, asking/looking for a shop. Thats when I discovered Haglin and the work was quality+fair.

Haglin Automotive has very experienced mechanics and a welcoming office. I was traveling and was able to set the appointment on a Saturday as this was an emergency repair. My Avalon got timing belt, water pump, and valve cover gaskets all done by Tuesday. They used OEM parts at my request. If I ever need any repairs while in Colorado i will call Haglin. Jack in the front office was courteous and knowledgeable however Haglin was $1400 higher bid then numerous other places I checked with for transmission rebuild.

The people here are so friendly and treated me like a person who knows her stuff. Never once felt uneasy or talked down to. They are great at what they do, and I love their system for inspections and how they classify when things should be repaired! My Subaru is driving better than ever :)

I needed a full diagnostic of what the problem was. I had taken my car to the Toyota dealership 6 times for the same issue and they were never able to diagnose the problem. After a single hour of diagnostic testing, Haglin was able to find the issue and provide a full breakdown of what was going on. Though I ended up choosing not to repair my car, I was confident in their findings and the quotes they provided for fixing it felt reasonable on top of reassuring that it would be fixed right.

They were sensitive to our concerns and gave a clear time line for when brake service would be needed, not insisting that it be done right away. The prior time when we had them give a second opinion about need a new power steering pump and brakes done, they found pump replacement unnecessary, and plenty of brake left, as is the case this time. Haglin automotive is hands down the best mechanic I’ve worked with. They are so nice and professional and are always willing to run diagnostics even if I do the repair myself at home. They go out of their way to make sure all your questions are answered and answer the phone to help me do my own repairs. When they do the repairs themselves it is done well and on time and they are always willing to give a loaner car to make life easy. I can not recommend them enough.

This is the second time I’ve been to Haglin Automotive with repairs and 4 visits.Chad who does the shuttle service is friendly and always has great conversation. Timely as well. I’ve never had to wait.The front service staff are knowledgeable, thoughtful, and thorough with any and all explanations or concerns I’ve voiced.The repairs they have done for my vehicle have been more than satisfactory.I’ve noticed, or maybe it’s just my optimism. That they have done little tidbits here and there while making the major repairs happen.I’ve never felt relived taking a vehicle to a mechanic before.Haglin Automotive has my trust and support 100% as a great place to service your vehicles.

We went to get our vehicle after they had it over labor day weekend and it was completely ransacked. We had several things stolen, and these people had little to nothing to say about it, the things they did say included you didnt drop it off this way? & We cant control the crime rate in this area. They didnt lock our vehicle, they have no security where they park their vehicles and were absolutely unremorseful. Absolutely unprofessional and totally irresponsible of them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Ridiculously overpriced...seriously, it’s absurd. Call any other mechanic after getting a quote from Haglin and I’m sure you’ll go elsewhere. Seems they’re more interested in your wallet than your well-being. I walked in yesterday to find all employees closely congregating without masks. Even when I walked inside, only about half of them put masks on. I will not return.

I have been going to Haglin for 4+ years. They’re family owned and operated, honest, trustworthy, prompt, and reasonably priced. Easy five stars. Place for middle tier and high tier cars, if you have a cheap car want cheap repair don’t come here. This place have the best technicians in boulder for above average cost, it’s pricey. It is worth it on an expensive car, every penny. If money is not the main issue, and want the best people to work on your expensive car and make sure it works, it’s the right place. Master techs with D levels even the front desk has veteran people who owned cars back in the 1950s , they tell good stories and know about the business. I called Haglin to get an estimate on work another shop told me I needed done immediately. Jack listened to me and thought maybe the problem was something else. He told me to being out in the next day and he would take a look at it for free. Turned out that he was right and the more expensive replacement the other shop told me about souls wait awhile. They fixed up what needed to be done affordably and gave me a timeline for the expensive replacement. They seem to be really upstanding folks at Haglin, not trying to milk you for everything they can get, which I appreciate as a female in her mid 20s who know very little about cars. They know how to get repeat customers

These people are simply amazing. Super honest and upfront about what your car does/doesn’t need to run well and live a long life.It’s rare you come across such great customer service in any industry. I used to live in Boulder but I happily make the drive from Denver whenever I need work done because they are that great.

The good people at Haglin fixed my Prius’ hub bearing earlier this year when I messed it up during some bad weather. They got me in the next day and when I went back for a check-up the same week, they did it during my lunch break in less than an hour. Their work is quality and affordable. Called last minute and went in for an inspection. Didn’t have to fix anything immediately and didn’t get charged. The staff could not have been nicer.

These guys were excellent! I was able to schedule an appointment for the very next day and the work was finished in less than 24 hours. They also provided an incredibly thorough diagnostic report that included clear descriptions as well as pictures. Reasonably priced and wonderful paperwork/payment service. Highly recommend!

On 7/27/20, I brought my car in to Haglins because of a referral since I couldnt get it into my mechanic for a week and I felt like the issue should be addressed promptly. The engine light had been on a couple different times on my 3 week vacation through the mountains. But it would go out, and it was also not on when I returned home. And once, before my appointment, the engine oil pressure gauge moved all the way to the max. I turned the car off and then back on, and it was reading normal. I explained these things to Jack at Haglins. I paid for $167 for a complete diagnostics. Codes p1763 and p1762 came up, but when they checked the governor sensor, they said it was not faulty. But the urgent repairs were a transmission flush and a cooling system flush, and it also was ready for an oil and filter change. ($381+$199+$54 +167 diagnostic =$817). When I left, I assumed the problem was fixed and that anything urgent to the health of my car had been addressed. On August 22, I drove from Boulder to Longmont. When I got to Longmont, the temperature gauge started to rise. I pulled into a gas station, turned it off and watched as smoke came out from under the hood. I called Haglins since theyd just done the radiator flush. They asked if I had towing insurance. I said I believe so. I need to call them and get the tow set up. Haglins said theyd take care of the tow and i would get a refund for the charge for towing. And that if this was related to the work they had just done, theyd make it right. They towed it. They found that a radiator hose had blown, and fixed it. I asked why that wasnt found in the complete diagnostic, especially if they were doing a radiator flush. They said it couldve been where they couldnt see it bubbling, or it may not have shown any signs of possibly blowing. I just thought this would have been a part of a thorough diagnostic, especially for the money I paid for one.I found a ride back to Boulder. Got the bill for $330, with a form to send my insurance company for a rebate of only $75. And when I turned the car on, the engine light was on, again. They came out with a code reader and it showed the governor sensor again. He said it was not faulty though. The engine light went out after he turned the car off and on again. He said to bring it back if it came on again.On 8/23/2020, the next morning, the engine light was back on AND the coolant low indicator came on, even though Id just paid to have that filled after the hose repair. I filled the coolant myself, then. I called to tell Haglins what was going on. He said to bring it in on Monday, and theyd make things right. I brought it in and as we were talking about the previous problems, he indicated that he thought the hose couldve been repaired where it was, rather than being towed. When I told him it was towed, he said that its a judgment call based on various variables. Also, the low coolant, could have been an air bubble . He found no leak.But he diagnosed a NEW code, p1494 that would be why the engine light is on, even though that code had not come up before, in the diagnostic a month previous, nor has my engine light been a problem before this July. And now 2 different codes in only 5 weeks. And no explanation for why the governor sensor code goes on, yet it is not faulty. I have lost my confidence, and a lot of money, in this process, and still my car is not fixed. I thought Haglins would take better care of me. But I shall go back to my own mechanic, and I do regret taking my car here.

Best experience Ive ever had in an auto shop - I rarely write reviews but this place deserves one. My service was completed quickly, they sent me a detailed report on my car inspection, the shuttle service was superb, and the coffee was a nice touch too. Nobody really looks forward to getting their car worked on, but next time I need it, I know Ill be excited to return.

I took my car here to get the brakes done. We chose this place based on the google review. They said they would inspect just the brakes for free, instead they inspected the whole car for free. Ashley called us back and told us the damage, which was higher than expected, however she was just being honest. She spent at least 5 minutes on the phone with us around closing time explaining what needed to be done. We decided since the car was old we would not get it serviced. Ashley was incredibly nice and did not pressure us at all, and the whole thing was free.I cant comment on the quality of the work, but if it is anything like the customer service, it is probably great work. I will be coming back to get work done when it needs it due to the customer service. They were caring and honest with no pressure.Good work aint cheap and cheap work aint good. If you care about your car bring it here, if not, take it to Just Brakes or some other crappy auto shop.

I am new to Colorado and failed my cars emission test. I called around for pricing and what it meant to have it fixed. They said they would do a fog test and no charge for resetting all the sensors. Because of that and taking the time to explain everything to me I took it to them. From then on I was amazed at their amazing customer service. I dropped my car off and they asked if I needed a ride to work, I did. They did so much on my car but only charged me once for the labor. They drove my car around to reset the sensors and even took it back to pass the emissions. Then they dropped the car off for me at work. Great customer service, nice guys. They are my go-to now for Colorado. Thank you so much for going above and beyond.

I’ve had a long running love/hate relationship with Haglin due to the (forced) nature of our business relationship for years. However, I’ve since returned twice on my own accord for mechanical issues on 2 different vehicles.The quality of their operation has turned me into a fan of Haglin Auto.They’re a great team. Appointments are kept, communication is good, they work honestly and have some great guys in the back that can diagnose problems quickly and efficiently.It took a while, but I’ll be visiting Haglin happily for years to come.

I called to set up an appointment and they were really friendly and quickly to make things happened. Walked in and got the ball rolling--they had a lounge to work in. They also offered to drive me to a place or to get breakfast which was really sweet. Later the mechanic called me with quotes and a really in depth review of my car and honest suggests. I even had a change of mind at some point and they were very understanding and worked with me.I spent time looking for places on Google and found this one, and I highly recommend anyone to trust their car and their customer service interactions with this place!

Brought my car in with a torn CV boot. They told me I also had a Broken strut. I was in a bind and didn’t have my computer with me so I trusted them based on good reviews. Upon reviewing the video of the bad strut it was just a loose assembly mount and did not need to be replaced. The Cv axle they replaced once and the entire car vibrates profusely in first and second gear. Brought it back and the technician said this part has been known to have this issue. After two more days and two more cv axle parts they refused to test drive it with me. Car still vibrates bad in first gear. Mind you the car did not vibrate at all before it just had a torn boot. They took advantage of a vulnerable situation. Normally I do all my work myself but had shoulder is surgery and couldn’t do the work myself. Avoid this place at all costs.

Haglin has been taking care of my car and me for a couple of years now. Great team run by a couple of great ladies! They are communicative and efficient about fixing the issue at hand and getting me in and out so I can use my car for work. Their car care club card is definitely worth the purchase and has paid for itself time and again! In the office Ive worked with Rachel the most and she provides the best customer service, connecting me with rentals if its a long service job or helping me get to work after I drop my car off at the shop. Trying to coordinate auto assistance for our college son from New York and finding Haglin via an online search truly was the best experience.Of course, issues arose 5p the night before a holiday but we took our chances to call Haglin, who to my surprise answered after hours & w/in 30 minutes had a tow truck at my son’s location. They were so helpful, professional & customer service oriented every step of the way, keeping us informed and made necessary repairs in a very timely manner. They will for sure be our go-to automotive center in Boulder! So genuine and efficient.

I appreciate having a great relationship with the owners and front desk staff. As a woman, its hard to find a good automotive shop that I can trust. The pricing isnt as high as a dealer and the service is better. Its not an inexpensive shop but its VERY clean (not all black and grimy ) and they are great at communicating. These guys are excellent to work with! I think this is a solid example of how a business should be ran- with customer service as a priority. I own a dealership in Utah and one of our customers needed a turbo installed in CO. Haglin performed the work and it turned out perfect. I appreciate the work they did and my customer now says he will become their customer too!!!

Just went in for a cheap oil change, now I see why they gave me a discount. They told me I had so many other things wrong with my Mustang, when I had just spent over a grand at the ford dealership. Nothing is wrong with my car, I had it checked at two different shops before taking it there. They see a young college girl and try to rip her off. I grew up learning about cars and how to take care of them. I love my car and know when something is wrong. I will never go back here.

Staff and service was amazing and very helpful, eager to explain and demonstrate exactly what was going on with my car. Pricing was reasonable and was broken down for me in a comprehensive manner. Really good experience.

I have a 2011 Buick Enclave that was leaking transmission fluid and recently called Jack at Haglin Automotive to seek advice on this issue....Jack was super helpful on the phone and asked me to drop the Enclave off at the shop so they could have a look at it....a couple of hours later I recieved a text which included a full inspection of my vehicle including very accurate photos of problem areas beneath the undercarriage of the Buick....The Buick has 140,000 miles on it so I was expecting some leaks...Jack called me back after I had a chance to look over the photos of the inspection which also included the urgency of possible repairs that may be needed....Upon talking with him ....I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he had 25 years plus experience in auto mechanics and service writing and had many years experience working on General Motors vehicles....They traced the transmission leak to an axel seal that was recently installed improperly due to a failed cv axel....I purchased this vehicle used and the seller had this work done at another shop... The Buick is running fine now and Im super happy with the service I recieved at Haglin Automotive! I will definitely be back for my auto repair needs in the future....Thanks Haglin Automotive!!

Thought that maybe my vehicle was DONE! Needless to say, Jay at Haglin promised to be honest and let me know if that was a reality. Haglin Automotive has always taken very good care of me, or rather, of my car. They are very friendly and trustworthy. Today I brought it in for service and they even washed my very dirty car for me free of charge. How is that for service?
