We had the pleasure of renting Mountain Remedy and it was perfect for two families with teenage children. The house was clean, and well kept and the kitchen was well equipped. The views where spectacular. It was so beautiful to see the layers of mountains from the deck and it was the best place to have a quiet morning coffee and contemplate just how grateful we were to have that view. Although steep to get into, the house was in good proximity to the parkway, Blowing Rock and Boone. The hot tub had just been refilled and was clean, although some of the headrest cushions were missing. We wish the weather had been better so we could have used the firepit!

My rental was what I expected in the most part. However, what I didnt expect was finding a load of dirty dishes in the dishwasher with partially dissolved dishwasher tablet. As I discovered while cleaning before departure that the dishwasher doesnt work on a normal wash cycle and neither do any of the cleaning options on the control panel. The dishwasher needs replacing. Cleaners probably didnt know this. The TV is hard to use and should simplify. No local channels but watch it for free channels had Netflix and others available. Beware of lower bedroom as the spa heater comes on constantly. In general the house is well appointed, very quaint, comfortable and quiet. Otherwise from what I stated I really enjoyed my stay despite the weather that turned bad and rained for almost 3 days. Boone is a short drive away to shop and stock up on groceries. This is the second time and will book again with Carolina Cabin. B.T.W the company itself is excellent through the booking and information provided. I will book the property I stayed regardless.

We asked specifically when we booked and again before checking in this week. Please make sure it is clean. However they DO NOT WASH SHEETS between stays. There is no way that they washed or changed the sheets. There was hair, stains, and debris left in the sheets. When you go to the lower level there are no less than 50 plus live moths living there. We found a prior guests duty socks left in one of the bedrooms. In addition to moths we did find a live grasshopper. I felt that pictures speak a thousand words so I have attached as many as I could. If you want subpar conditions these are your go to people. Carolina Cabin Rentals is terrible! All we were expecting is a clean place. To bad they do not have a zero rating option!!!!!Day-2 To the Owner- Thank you for acknowledging that this is not acceptable!While you did make a half way attempt to acknowledge the issues. Changing only select beds while not cleaning others is not going to work! The issues that have not been addressed are as follows.1)Twin bed still not repaired.2) Moth / Insect infestation not addressed.3) Floors still not cleaned.4. Debris, Food, and dirt not cleaned from under the couch cushions.5) Fireplace rocks not neatened up.6) Toilet leak not repaired.We could expand on this but again we are just asking for a clean, sanitized, safe home that we already paid you for in good faith. It appears that you are not going to fulfill your part of the agreement.

As part of our summer mountain biking vacation we stayed a few nights on Skiloft Road at Beech Mountain and couldnt have been happier. We had easy access to the lifts and to the Emerald Outback and loved it. The morning sunrises were spectacular and the lodge was clean and modern. We are already looking forward to our return visit!

It takes a lot for me to give a company a bad review. Before making this, I have tried for over a week and a half to speak with staff about our rental for a weekend. We were given barely 24 hours notice that they were canceling our reservation. We were given few options with little time and all options were farther and more expensive than we needed to stay. We were in town for wedding. A week and a half later, every time I call (has been over 10 times), I’m politely told they are working on what happened and will speak to a manager. Sonja has supposed to call me back for 5 days now and emailed us not explaining why our rental was canceled. We had to pay 600 dollars extra for a place that was farther away and on top of it they couldn’t get our name correct on the reservation. Making me think they overbooked and that’s why they cancelled out stay. I really hate leaving a small business a terrible review but I have not been able to reconcile this for over a week and a half! You are lucky if they pick up and will always tell you they will have someone call back but it is usually next day. So unorganized and unresponsive! Highly recommend going with another company to avoid being canceled on!!

The cabin itself is really nice. It was very spacious. The yard was amazing for kids to play in. The only improvement I would recommend is improving some of the supplies in the kitchen. We felt that there were not enough glassware and bowls and certain utensils such a small spoons. Overall though the house was really clean and the views of the mountains from the front door are amazing.

We stayed in the Spice Ridge Retreat Cabin. ahh!!! Breathtaking!!, from the moment we entered the driveway. You will not be disappointed. We enjoyed everything about our stay. We didnt want to leave. We are already planning our next trip up.

We had the opportunity to take a family trip out here and stayed at Summit View. The cabin was immaculate! The views are amazing and the sun sets right behind the cabin with a clear shot over the mountains! There’s plenty to do and keep you occupied right inside and enough space for outdoor activities! 10/10 for sure!

Cabin: Red Bear RunMe and my family went this previous weekend for a small vacation, we really enjoyed ourselves. The area was peaceful and everything we wanted. The cabin itself was really spacious, we had 14 people total and everyone was able to sleep in a bed, had room to where no one was walking over each other. You really get what you pay for. My only complaint would be that it’s not as clean as I hoped. The beds for instance could have been washed more thoroughly & the grill from the first floor drippings were dropping to the second floor. Besides those two incidents, we really didn’t/don’t have any complaints. Like I said, it’s a very spacious place, you get what you pay for. Don’t let the outside fool you, cause it looks tiny but you’ll have plenty of room! And for my people with motion sickness, be careful coming down the mountain, it’s not as fun as going up. Also, cell service is horrible, but they do offer WiFi and it’s pretty strong to for everyone to be connected to it. I would go again 9/10!

Our weekend was one for the records. The cabin was clean, comfortable and had great spaces with wonderful views of Grandfather Mountain. The three living rooms, (one on each floor) were excellent for individual conversations and the game tables kept us busy.

Very professional company. The whole process was very easy and the home was outfitted with just about everything that we needed. It was nice that the photos fairly represented the home, especially the great view.

Its a great place, fantastic view, clean and everything in the house was as described, the only reason Im giving 4 stars is because I had booked and paid for late check-out, then on the day of check-in they notified me they would have a new guest coming in when I was supposed to leave and they had to cancel my late check-out. I had made plans around the additional few hours, and since I was notified only after I had started my trip, I couldnt adjust my plans and that ended up causing some issues for my family and my guests. That was very disappointing and really got in a way of a perfect experience. I still recommend the place though, its really great! - just be careful with your plans because they will not hesitate to change things on you at the last minute.

We will definitely will return to Fir River Cabin for more fun filled North Carolina mountain time! Located within walking distance of the South Fork of the New River it is convenient to tubing, kayaking and fishing. Of course our visit included all three! The cabins hot tub, fire pit and cozy amenities allowed us to relax , cook delicious meals, or just sip our favorite beverage on the front porch rocking chairs. We heard turkeys sounding off in the early morning in the Christmas Tree Farm located directly behind the cabin. The morning and dusk views are post card perfect. Just being there makes you feel good breathing fresh mountain air. Fir River Cabin is a great place to rent and we highly recommend a stay here for your North Carolina mountain vacation.

Really enjoyed the experience staying at their Grandfather View cabin. Not a ton of instructions for checking in or checking out. It was just a really relaxed and positive experience.

Majestic View is in a beautiful and secluded neighborhood. The view and outdoor space is wonderful. The master bedroom is big and beautiful although the bed is a challenge to get in and out.Lots of positives! Now the negatives, the cabin was not cleaned properly which really shocked me with Covid. Refrigerator , stove was greasy and not cleaned. The game/movie room had stuff spilled all over the floor. The sheets on the trundle of the bunk bedroom had never been changed and was gross. The reason we rented this cabin was for the hot tub , gas grill, and outdoor space. The hot tub was never cleaned and had to be drained, cleaned, and treated. Out of our 5 day stay we could only use hot tub two days. The grill was broken and after 7 calls to Carolina Cabin Rentals (nobody ever answers ) we were told they would have to contact owner about grill. What did that mean... we finally got a grill to use the last two nights of our trip. This is a dog friendly cabin so if you are allergic to cats ( hair everywhere) or dogs do not stay here.It is beautiful and if they did a deep clean all kitchen items and cabin itself I will stay again. It should be great now for next visitor.

We really enjoyed our time at Mountain Meadows. Future guests should pay attention to the directions when told to ignore Google Maps. It did not help us at all. I would also recommend stopping by the grocery store before going to the cabin as it is a 20 minute drive. After a long ride, it wasnt fun to realize we had to go back out

This review is for the rental company and not the accommodations. Although the company was easy to deal with and everything was sent timely, we were taken back by all the extra fees they wanted to charge for check in early and check out late - especially since no one was at the cabin the night before or after our stay. We rent at least 20 times a year through rental companies and VRBO and have never encountered the high fees Carolina Cabin Rental wanted to charge. We also considered bringing a pet but the fee was much more than other rental companies. Leaving our pet at home was cheaper! I was pleased with the communication. I just feel they were trying to squeeze out any additional funds they could.

We rented a place through Carolina Cabin Rentals for a family vacation. Everything was as expected; they did a great job at setting the correct expectations with the rental. Check in and check out was painless. They also have pet friendly rentals and very reasonable fees associated with those. We brought our two larger dogs and had a great family weekend.

Carolina cabin rentals helped to make my cabin rental a breeze. Right after booking the cabin I got a call from the realty company asking if I had any questions and thanking me for booking through them. Everyone I talk to was courteous and well informed and was able to answer all of my questions. The cabin and the grounds were extremely well maintained. I will definitely be going through this company again to book another cabin.

Easy contactless check-in and check-out. Carolina Cabin Rentals sent specfic instructions on getting to the cabin, local garage and towing companies should you get stuck, and suggestions on vehicle choice (4WD) and where you can buy vehicle accessories locally for snow and ice traction. The cabin had everything we needed, and everything advertised. If you rent during snow season, youll need a 4WD vehicle for the driveway. The view is great and the flying squirrels loved the sunflower seeds provided by Carolina Cabin Rentals. No complaints, but the bathrooms could use updating. The rest of the house is charming and cozy.

Love Carolina Cabin Rentals! I usually book 2-3 times a year and have had lots of issues with other cabin companies (bed bugs, non-working hot tubs, cellulitis from hot tubs, trashy environments, loud neighbors, dirty cabins) and I never have a problem with this company. Theyre always available during our stay, access to the cabin is easy and convenient, the cabins are always clean and beautiful, always with plenty of extras like games and play rooms. Will always book with them!!

We had no issues with our rental so cannot review how they handle any. We stayed in one of their luxury rentals and my biggest recommendation to Carolina Cabin Rentals would be actually to whoever is handling the towels and linens in the rentals. There were many stained towels, washcloths, pillow cases and sheets and that should be unacceptable in a vacation rental, especially for the price we paid. The property was otherwise beautiful and well maintained.

Elderberry Escape was AMAZING 🤩. The views are beautiful. We had a party of 11 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer was a plus for our 5 day trip. We will definitely book this property again.

Excellent stay at one of Carolina Cabin Rentals properties in Beech Mountain (Benzine Farm). Cabin was well stocked, very clean, well organized, and beautifully located. No problems at all with the property.

My family and I was suppose to stay at Majestic Mountain. I was called the day before my trip and was advised that the owners where putting in new floors, I booked this back in February. So I was given 3 choices and I need a place that would sleep my large family. So I chose Stone Throw. This cabin was not what it looked like in the pictures. The owners and rental company completely misrepresented the property by taking creative pictures using filters and Deceptive lighting to make it look better than it was! The cabin was not clean, chairs, beds, shower door where broken. We went the first night without hot water, there was no cell service... so we had to drive down the mountain to contact them... they finally came the nexts day to repair the water heater. They sent two guys who did absolutely nothing. A couple hours later they sent a female who got it working, but we only had water for 24hrs then it was out again! We paid for Rustic Chic but got Old and dilapidated!!!!!!!🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️😡

The house we rented from Carolina cabins was fabulous. I was a little disappointed with the customer service at Carolina cabins. We rented a six bedroom house and had 12 people attend our family reunion. I needed clarification of some of the kitchen amenities. They were not able to answer my questions and were unwilling to email the owners of the home. I ended up bringing a lot more kitchen stuff than I needed to bring because of that. We did have some air-conditioning problems That ended up being thermostat issues. We did not have a lot of instructions around the house for anything. Every time I called the people were very nice but just not that helpful. I will say though we did save a lot of money. The house was listed on VRBO also and it was a significant difference in price from Carolina cabins.

We recently rented a house in Boone, NC for our family vacation. The cabin was terrific, exactly as described online, and the service through Carolina Cabin Rentals was top notch throughout! They were available and responsive when we had questions before arrival about checking in, and this service continued throughout our stay. We had a low battery on our entrance lock, which they sent someone to change immediately- and it was July 4th weekend!! We absolutely recommend this rental company!

Our cabin BLUE MIST was GREAT! We had 6 adults and plenty of space. Cabin was very clean, nicely furnished & tastefully decorated. Bedrooms are large & beds were very comfortable. Very private location, but close to Blowing Rock. The view was breathtaking! Level entry both upstairs & downstairs which was important to us because one person in our party had mobility issues. CONS...No fire pit. No hot tub. The cell phone service (we have Verizon) & the internet service was NOT good in the area, but that’s sometimes typical in the mountains.

Everything was fine until we got to the cabin. Horrible odor. We spent two days wiping everything down with white vinegar, which only modestly helped. Whatever the smell was, it was in the fabrics. We called to report it. They offered no help at all. We‘ve rented enough to know not everything will be perfect but housekeeping should have notified management there was a problem at this home. Our bigger concern is that the solicited review we wrote was was never posted to their website. Our guess is that since the last review for this cabin was more than four months ago, they only post positive reviews, and discard the others, which is why we decided to post this here.

Our experience with the company was okay. I can tell you, we will not rent from them again. While the cabin itself was nice and absolutely beautiful on the inside, the extra fees they charge is outrageous! Our cabin rental was around $500 for 3 nights. By the time it was all said and done, we paid over $900. The cleaning fees are ridiculous. Our cabin had so many rules we were scared to touch anything. Downstairs when you went outside, if you weren’t paying attention, you would have fell down the mountain and onto a busy road. There was no railing for safety. Something they failed to mention in the cabin listing. I don’t know how the cabin passed inspection with that safety hazard. The owners live at the top of the mountain we were on and kept driving by every single day. We felt like we were being watched. It was very hard to relax when a truck was driving by every single day between 5 and 6. Beware of the fees before you book!

Carolina Cabins was incredibly easy to work with. Our stay at the Echota Resort was amazing. The cabin was well stocked, the resort amenities were great. The pools are well tended to, the fishing ponds were a great plus and the area is full of things to do. Carolina Cabins was incredibly responsive. Any time I emailed during our stay I had a response within the hour. Will definitely stay with them again!

Carolina Cabin Rentals is very easy to work with when choosing a rental. There was an issue with the home we rented ( no fault of the rental agency). We were already in route with our two dogs but they quickly found dog friendly options for us to choose as an alternative. The alternative home was actually more expensive then the original home but CCR allowed us to use the rental at the same cost as the original home. They are available for any needs and are very friendly and work hard to make sure your trip is enjoyable. We will use them again for a rental!

We booked Bearadise cabin because it had a hot tub. Before we were leaving for the trip, I noticed another review for a cabin with Carolina Cabins that said when the got to the cabin the hot tub wasnt working. I called the company and JUST 8 minutes before I called, the office was notified the hot tub wasnt working and they were getting ready to call me. I asked if we could change to a cabin with a working hot tub and was told there werent any available. Talked to family then called back to see if my trip insurance would cover canceling. The second person I talked to said she thought it would, or we could call back and they would talk to the owners about a discount- oh and they gave us $75 for the hot tub not working. Long story short, the insurance denied the claim saying it was the owners issue. Several emails later we have still not gotten any type of refund. I honestly would have been happy with a partial refund. Whether it was Red Sky insurance, the cabin owners, or Carolina Cabin rentals who knows.... poor business either way. This group can really pass the buck.

The cabin was not what we expected and we had trouble finding it with the directions provided, but when we called the office, Morgan was very helpful and went above and beyond in getting us to the right location. Felicity was also very responsive in addressing our concerns about the condition of the cabin and the fact that the hot tub had been removed.

Our much needed family gathering was perfect at Pinecone Manor. The spacious rooms provided all the space needed for 9. The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking essentials provided. The kitchen layout made it so easy to share cooking. Spectacular views from the wrap around deck was so calming. The game room was a fun floor. This house was clean, tastefully decorated and spacious. We hope to return next year.

Meadow View cabin was like Heaven. A beautiful relaxing home with amazing views out every window. Very clean, wonderfully decorated, a home away from home, but alot more splendid. Our experience in renting Meadow View through Carolina Cabin Rentals will hopefully be a ongoing yearly event. This place is magnificent and we cannot wait to return.

Great cabin location huge room and space the only thing I didnt like was no television in main bedroom and only 2 TV in hpuse.This place was too big and sleep 14 people for only 2 television.. But overall nice cabin

We have rented from Carolina Cabin Rentals several times and have been extremely pleased with each location! They are very responsive to any questions or concerns that have come up. On one of our stays the code did not work for the door. They Answered immediately on the after hours line, sent another code and everything was great. We will definitely be renting from them again!

This place is exceptionally clean and well stocked as well as functional. The 3 levels of the house allowed for primacy when needed. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were very spacious. The yard was very well maintained. The plates and utensils were sooo beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! I was just scared of driving up and down the mountain but thats just me.

Elk Laurel is a beautiful home and our group had an amazing time! There were plenty of activities in the home to keep everyone busy. We had a little problem with the hot tub, called Carolina Cabin Rentals (at night), was able to speak with someone immediately, and they resolved our issues quickly. The home is clean and fully stocked with most anything you will need. We will definitely use their services again. Thank you for a wonderful family getaway!!

It was ok Ive used blue ridge cabin rental before and it seemed like a better deal after using both. The cabin was nice enough, Riverdale, they had white carpet throughout with no mud room, which was hard to keep clean with small kids constantly hiking and doing outdoor activities, a beautiful Creek was pictured, but had 80 stairs to go down and up to get to it, plus a rope tied to a tree to get all the way down to access it completely anyone a little older couldnt go. There was about 200$ in cleaning and booking fees, plus a deposit that totals half of your entire stay, so for someone looking to rent for a week or more it gets very expensive.

I would recommend this rental for large gatherings. The house is well kept and the view is spectacular. The game room was hit for the young adults. The house is also close to Blowing Rock and Boone. You won’t be disappointed with this house.

From the moment I booked the reservation to the moment we checked out, we were extremely pleased. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed, the view was amazing. The cabin looks small in the pictures but it is actually pretty spacious and was quite comfortable for all eight of us. Just had an amazing experience up in the mountains with family for a week! Very accommodating and helpful with our questions. Our cabin in particular needs some appliance upgrades, the water heater situation is a little unfortunate, because we had 6 people in a cabin and only one person could shower at a time, (don’t even think about running the dishwasher 🤣) and I think it’s silly to charge $20 for firewood. Also, our hot tub was on the second floor when the house was on the third, which made for an uncomfortable transition in the freezing cold, which would’ve been nice to know in the description. Outside of that The Sugar Bear Cabin was just adorable & a perfect place to enjoy Banner Elk and skiing for our family’s first time!

The process of finding and reserving a cabin stay through Carolina Cabin Rentals was extremely easy. I appreciate the ease of the site and thorough communication after booking. Everything contactless and safe. The pictures of the cabin were exactly as shown on the site. The rental company was very responsive when I needed to contact them. Very professional! I will use them again for our next mountain stay.

Quick to supply information and respond to questions. BEAN BAG CABIN cabin needs a little TLC. Deep cleaning, replacement of broken chairs and screens, new mattresses would all make it even better. The location and view were very good. We loved the small ski town feel and the various hikes in the area.

Lovely cabin in a perfect location missed a dishwasher since we did a lot of cooking. Very comfortable enjoyed our stay will definitely use this cabin again

Great cabin to stay in. Close to everything you would need and very cozy! If anything this cabin is worth staying in for the view! Woke up every morning to a beautiful view of grandfather Mountain. Everything went well except for one thing...the a/c units were not installed like they should have been when we arrived, so there was no air in the cabin. We installed one ourselves so that we would have some air. The units had mold growth on the vents as well, which is why I assume my 5 year old son came home with a really bad cough. Rental company did respond quickly about it, but just apologized for the inconvenience and that was pretty much it. The cabin itself was gorgeous and we loved the air hockey and foosball. The view was amazing.

I’ve used Carolina Cabins twice now. They have beautiful homes, easy to communicate with, and every thing always goes smoothly using them. The website is easy to navigate when you’re looking for a place to rent. The homes are clean and spacious. I will be using them in the future as well.

Our Family experience was amazing. had a few issues with the house but nothing that would cause me to not go again or recommend. the view, the house , the size and the activities made this trip great. We had an amazing stay at Cabin Fever. The property is beautiful and everything went smoothly.

We visited Phoenix Mountain Lodge with our two sons and their families for our annual Christmas tree trip. Our family has been doing a choose-n-cut tree for over 40 years and once the boys were married, their wives joined that tradition. Each year, we select a cabin and this year was fabulous! The rooms were all perfect, there was plenty to do for the little ones and the views were spectacular. The cabin was in great condition and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

In April 2021, we stayed at a CCR property rated 5 stars, Parkway Retreat in Blowing Rock, NC. From the moment we walked in the door, it was clear this was not a 5-star rental (terrible smell from dirty diapers left in the trash). We uncovered a number of issues throughout our stay (not enough hot water for showers, clogged bath tubs, no heat in the basement with 2 bunk beds, among other things). At the end of our stay, I wrote a very comprehensive review to make sure others were forewarned. In spite of my many emails asking why my review and rating are still not reflected on the CCR site, and being told that it will be posted, here we are in August and Parkway Retreat still has a perfect 5-star rating. It seems clear to me that CCR doesnt really care about honest reviews. I have only posted one review in my life. This review will be my second and hopefully my last.I am still in the rental as I type this review.Our experienced started about two hours prior to arriving. I received a very nice call from Carolina Cabins informing me of a small problem with the hot tub. Bottom line, it was usable but had a small leak, we just needed to watch the water level and add water as needed.During that initial call, I asked about checking in early...we made better time than I had planned. Once again, during my call everything was great and professional. Morgan said he would look into it and confirm housekeeping was done and everything was inspected by quality control. He called me promptly and said it was no problem to check in a little early.On the way, we stopped to pick up groceries so that we did not have to go out again. It was a long drive with the kids, and everyone was just ready to eat and relax.We then arrived at the house and started to unload the car. Here is where the wheels fall off. Morgan called me back and said there was a mix-up and the house was not ready and would not be ready at the normal check in time of 4:00 PM. Reminder, I have a car full or groceries. So, what do you do with groceries between 4:00 and 5:30 while you are waiting to get in. Well some go bad, but we got in. We were offered compensation in the amount of $75.00 for the late check in, which doesnt cover some of the food that was lost while waiting to check in.Next part of day one, the hot tub is a serious problem not a minor usable problem. We were called once again promptly and professionally. I really appreciated the service, a service tech was here fixing the problem within hours. He and I reviewed the problem, and he took the time to show me what needed to be done in regard to water and the two breakers that operate the tub. Before using it, we just needed to wait for the chemicals to be added.I filled the tub with water and turned the tub on in order for it to be heated. No one came by to add chemicals that day. In fact, no one came for 24 hours to add chemicals. I also had to call again before anyone came with the chemicals. Shortly after the chemicals were added, we tried to finally use the tub. Needless to say, the tub no longer worked, so I once again placed a call.Fast forward another 12 - 14 hours, I had not heard anything in regard to the tub repairs. So, I called again...I had to leave a message. I received another call from Morgan (once again very nice), I explained my frustration, he said he would follow up about the repairs and possible compensation. He called back shortly after that with compensation in the amount of $175. However, he also mentioned that no matter what he would follow up to let me know in regard to the hot tub. I never heard anything from him or anyone from Carolina Cabins. I tried to follow up, in fact, I called three times today...no call back, no email, nothing. I believe they see this as a none issue because we are leaving tomorrow.In the scheme of things this is not a big deal; however, the kids were really looking forward to using the hot tub...especially at night. In addition, we rented this cabin based on that particular feature.As far as the home, it is nice enough and in a great location. They did a decent job with the cleaning. However, the glass door in the master bath is starting to pull out of the wall, which prevents the door from closing completely. The grill is in desperate need of a real cleaning, the grease trap is missing, so grease has collected all underneath the grill...creates an interesting problem when you have a lab that will eat anything. The air filters are extremely dirty or missing.My recommendation is to take your business elsewhere. We typically take at least one trip to this area a year. I never used Carolina Cabin Rentals before, and I certainly will not rent any home that is managed by them again.

My Stay at Carolina cabin was a good one the cabin was very clean had , spacious, very nice looking also had a lot of items already there for use the location I stayed at was great for as centrally located only Discrepancy I had was there was a make America Great again hat display on top of the refrigerator like if someone put it there to be purpose intended noticed everyone has a right to there political beliefs also we all have the right to not want to endure any type of politicalize environment if I had known that the hat would have been displayed there I surely would not stayed there and would have questioned and staying with the company at any of the properties because for me the Make America Great Again statement has been also adopted by some that viewpoint of making America Great Again as reverting back to some of the Olds way when the were more injustices and suppressing although all supporter of the make America Great do adopt the statement to basically contribute to these actions there large number of group and individuals that do so that way I personally Care nothing about the Make American Great Again because for me if it not total positive Im not for it and really I find it offensive to have to unknowingly go somewhere to rent and stay and have to see that but besides that this was a good place to stay im not here to offend no one are there political agenda you have a right I just do not think any place of business of any sort should display any political information of any sort

We rented Serendipity recently, which is a new addition to Carolina Cabin Rentals collection. The home is located in the Aho area of Boone, right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house was beautiful and clean, it is like a treehouse perched on a hill. It is located in a quaint subdivision and its porches (there are several) face Grandfather Mountain, delivering amazing sunsets every evening. The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, plus a great game room down in the basement and a hot tub on one of the balconies, which was clean and ready to go when we arrived. We found the location of the cabin to be perfect, its about 12 mins from Blowing Rock and 15 mins into downtown Boone. The home has a lot of stairs, just something to be aware of if youre traveling with anyone who may have trouble managing them. Overall the experience was great, and we would return again in a heartbeat.

Carolina Cabin Rentals has great homes to rent and is very easy to work with. We appreciate the quality of the homes and the customer service of the people.

Black Bear Retreat is a wonderful home to gather with friends and family. There are 5 king bedrooms spread out over 3 floors. The master suite is on the upper level and has a nice bath with a large double vanity, glass shower and separate potty room. No bumping elbows here! The bedroom is spacious, mattress was comfortable, walk-in closet was good size. We also enjoyed the views from the attached porch. Two other bedrooms are on the upper level that share 1 hall bath. One of the bedrooms features a king bed with XL twin above and an alcove with 2 pullout chairs. It also has shelves with kids toys/coloring books. The kids loved it!! Main level has one king bedroom which uses the 1/2 bath across the hall. Lower level has a large king bedroom and uses the large bath downstairs (not ensuite). The kitchen is very functional and is well stocked with silverware and cookware. We spent most evenings grilling on the back porch overlooking the sunset. We had a lovely long range view to the west. The 9th tee box is next to the house on the other side. Trees (summer) provided almost total privacy from golfers. The family room was very comfortable and offered lots of comfortable seating, pillows and throws. The couch pulls out into a bed if needed. Both upstairs and downstairs family rooms had Roku TVs with accounts already set up to use as well as all bedrooms. We appreciated the near level entry and the two car garage. The fire pit, hot tub and pool table were a huge hit and enjoyed by all!!Carolina Cabin Rentals were very responsive to any requests such as garbage pick up. The washer and a coffee pot needed to be replaced at the beginning of our stay. Communication and coordination of replacements were excellent. They perform a mid stay inspection which I was not aware of, but it was not a problem. Spa was very clean and serviced during our stay (3+ weeks). Carolina Cabin Rentals also helped coordinate our transfer membership to BMC (the club). Everything went smoothly and we were very happy. We are looking to rent again next year!!

This place is terrible I was told if you are under 30 they will not rent to you which is clearly age discrimination I was calling to book a Business trip up to Boone and I’m told that I am to young to rent from them due to them thinking I will have a party because I’m 28 ( under 30 years old ) I have never had this happen to me at any other rental company no matter where I have stayed so you home owners that is renting your home throu this company I hope you see this and see how much money they are turning away for you when your house could be rented

We stayed at Lower Fiddlestix 114 and we loved it. The cabin was beautiful and we felt safe with the gate to the community we were staying in. We were close to wildlife we saw 4 deer drinking water right below our balcony out of the stream in the back yard. Only thing I have to say negative is the bathroom in second bedroom leaks terribly it needs to be caulked where the glass doors are. Also the main bedroom bathroom was clogged in the tub. Over all good stay though it was clean and very nice. Can’t wait to stay again

The Stairway to Heaven home was fantastic. The layout provides enough privacy while also having an appealing large 2 story family room. The accourtements provided for a very relaxing stay. It was a home away from home. I cant imagine renting from anywhere else

From the moment I booked the reservation to the moment we checked out, we were extremely pleased. I forget the gentlemans name who called me prior to our arrival but he was super nice and extremely helpful. The cabin was clean and cozy and the view was amazing. The cabin looks small in the pictures but it is actually pretty spacious and was quite comfortable for my family of eight. My family and I truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and look forward to returning soon. Thank you Carolina Cabin Rentals for an amazing stay.

Divine View - Absolutely beautiful view!!! The house is very nice and fully equipped. This house is at the very top of Seven devils so the drive can be challenging especially in the winter. The driveway was full of snow and ice when we arrived so we had to park at the bottom of the driveway and haul all of our belongings up the driveway to the house. Carolina Cabin Rentals should consider clearing the driveway in the winter prior to check in.

We had a great experience working with CCR. They are well-organized and responsive. The home we rented is in excellent shape and accurately represented by CCR. We look forward to renting through them again.

During our stay, we had an issue with the hot tub. I called on Saturday morning at 8am and left a message. I had a return phone call within 10 minutes and they were able to walk me through the fix for the hot tub. We were back up and running in minutes. Great customer service and care!

I have used this rental company several times- I have NEVER been disappointed. Quality homes, always helpful, and I appreciate their emails for information you can refer back to when needed.

We rented a cabin in the Seven Devils area for a week. From the start, the staff at Carolina Cabin Rental was very responsive. They answered our questions before booking, as we got closer to our arrival, and while questions popped up during our stay. We did discover a problem on our last night, and they were quick to respond when we reached out to them about it. We weren’t looking for anything since we had stayed the duration of our reservation, but they refunded one night plus tax to us. (They did this without being asked to do so.) Although we would not stay in this particular cabin again, we would absolutely stay with Carolina Cabins again!

The cabin is charming! Decorated with an artist’s eye, it’s eclectic furnishings and artwork blend together into a comfortable and lovely space. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you might need plus a shelf of recipe books.The view from the deck and the expansive windows in the sitting areas is spectacular.Gorgeous flowering bushes frame the cabin and the driveway. Staying there is heavenly. We’re planning to book two weeks next summer.

Makes it simple to rent a nice cabin out of town. Some personal interaction, but not inundated with touch points. Solid communication throughout reservation cycle, the team is responsive and accessible when you need them.

Our experience at Carolina Cabin Rentals exceeded our expectations! The house was immaculate and was beautifully decorated. Every place my eye turned it was, “wow - look at this”! The view from the back deck overlooked not only the golf course to the right, but to the left was a spectacular view of mountain ranges as far as the eye could see. In the evening, the sun set over the mountain range. I would be hard pressed to find anything displeasing with our experience there. Nice job!

When we got here on 5-28-2021, we found out the AC was not working , also notify that mouseDropping we found the place to be really dirty.the next day , they tell us they can’t get itClean or fix the AC, ruin our family vacation !What a mess of cabin rental company!!!!!!!! My family of 7 stayed at Tiffanys Estates in the Upper House. The booking process was easy and the company provides good instructions on travel to the area during the winter months. We are from South Florida so I made sure we drove a vehicle that was better for the snow. The house was beautiful but there were a few things that gave us the impression that the house want properly cleaned. The refrigerator was a little dirty, there were clothes left in the closet, stains on the bed linen, the outside trash was already full, and used shower gel in the shower. I contacted CCR and a representative came to remove the clothes. I didnt make a big deal of the other items because I didnt want to get upset about something I could do something about so I washed the sheets and cleaned the refrigerator. Overall, we had a great stay but the cleaning company that is used must be more thorough in their process of cleaning.

The cabin is beautiful. Great location to the slopes. Loved the layout with the patio and hot tub, tv, and fireplace between the two cabins. Only problems were upon our arrival their maintenance crew was there and working on the hot tub and it had to be drained which meant we couldn’t use it until the next day! The living room fireplace did not work, and there was food left in the oven! I thought these issues should have been resolved before we arrived! Other than that we had a wonderful stay!

Everything was as advertised. This cabin is perfect for a couples get-away. It is secluded with a great view and only a short drive to Boone or West Jefferson. The ONLY negative would be if the lots next to it are developed then it would lose the very private atmosphere. We loved our time there and will definitely be back!!

Couldn’t have asked for a better cabin to rent for our nights in North Carolina! Comfortable beds, beautiful cabin, binder of information of things to do/places to eat, etc. Quick and responsive management team! Highly recommend!

Booking was easy. Property was clean and check in/check out was easy. Had such a great location. Everything was just as listed and more. Had a wonderful trip.

Benzyne Farm was beautiful spacious and comfortable. It was nice to enjoy also the fire pit outside since it was shilly. The only thing was several of the chairs outside were broken and the house was not very clean, specially the floors which was my only disappointment specially having little one .

The big concern with Valle View is how it was not cleaned. On first arriving, the fence in yard had 10+ piles of poop. I can not believe you do not require customers to clean up after their pets. Not sure about a pet owner that does not clean up after their pet but I guess that is why the carpet in the house looks the way it does. You need to upgrade your pet owners that use the house to be more responsible.The bathrooms were clean but the pots & pans in the kitchen needed to be reclean to use them plus there was something in the muffin pan under the stove, not sure what it was.The refrigerator NEEDS to have its filter changed to help with the taste of the water and ice. Had to throw away the ice and clean the ice maker tray.Would be nice to have a clock in each bedroom.The house was not well vacuumed as there was bugs and things around the house and under the furniture.The Valle View was a nice small cabin and was glad we could take our Lab with use to enjoy the area during the day. It has great views & location.

We rented a cabin in Banner Elk NC from Carolina Cabin Rentals and had such a great time. The cabin was clean and well stocked with towels and sheets and loads of tvs and games. The one problem we had was dealt with quickly and profesionaly, they are so friendly and courteous. We cant wait to rent from them again.

We had a great stay in Boone, NC. The house was perfect for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children - and was clean, cozy and comfortable. We had easy access to the ski resorts and Hawksnest Tubing as well as Grandfather Mountain. There had been snow earlier in the week and while the roads were in good condition - including those in the Summit Ridge Park development -- there was a good 4-5 inches left on the ground which meant my kids were in heaven and played outside in the yard everyday! The kitchen was small but had everything we needed to prepare meals at home. The house was well heated and warm and cozy as the temperatures dipped down into the low 20s. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean with good water pressure. The two irritations: poor lighting in the main living area made it hard to read or play games at night and the kitchen oven didnt seem to heat properly. I have already recommended this place to friends and really loved the views from the house and the proximity to Boone. We will be back to explore more of the High Country!

Wonderful condo....lack of personal touch missing, I have listed some things below.1. Directions to the condo were not good2. Uncleaned on arrival, but was sorted out by agent3. No broom or cleaning equipment after winds broke a lantern on the deck4. No kettle, no serving dishes, limited cutlery5. Big issue...water in kitchen and shower was not hot enough to even wash up6. Some lights are out, needs new bulbs7. Dusty floorThis was a great condo, new construction, we enjoyed our time, view was great, few little issues, but overall it was good.Craig & Melinda

Great cabin location with all the best attractions nearby. My only criticism would be that the cleaning needs to be more thorough as there was dust on all the shades and cobwebs on lamps throughout the cabin, dirty trash bin and underneath the sink there was a foul odor. Other than that, I would definitely rent again!
