Family of seven staying the weekend for a family reunion. Booked our stay with Anderson Mountain Rentals...250 Chestnut Drive. The rustic cabin had adequate space. The beds were very outdated and uncomfortable. The housekeeping was poor! Dirty bathrooms, dust on every surface, cobwebs on all light fixtures. The bathrooms were not adequately supplied with wash clothes and towels. Couldnt open windows or doors leading to the deck, no screens. Will not be renting this location again🙁

Beautiful location, secluded and exactly what we needed for getaway. The fireplace was our best friend during the cool Fall nights!Customer service was great too and attended to our needs promptly.Would definitely recommend!

I cant say enough how wonderful and accommodating Wendy was while we were staying at one of their rentals! We were having a little bit of an issue with the WiFi where we were staying on Sunday and on Monday my son had a job interview which required a reliable connection. Although there was a tech scheduled for the morning, we didnt want to take a chance and Wendy didnt miss a beat! She offered up her office in town, which provided him the privacy he needed, as well as the reliable connection, reducing the already stressful situation. I never got to meet Wendy face to face, but if I had, I would have hugged her, despite all this COVID stuff!!! Thanks again Wendy for all your help! PS - Nick got the job!!!

This is the first time Ive used Anderson Mountain Reality, and I wanted to share my experience. Ive recently completed my stay at the Bears Den. We are a family of 5 my wife and I and three girls 6, 3, and 4 months.After reviewing their properties we settled on the Bears Den a 2 bedroom 2 bath rental.After a several hour drive with three small girls we arrived at the property. Another hour of unpacking and getting situated we realize our 2 bedroom 2 bath rental was a 2 bedroom 1 bath. My wife immediately informed the Anderson Reality via email, and to their credit they replied very quickly. We were asked if this would be an inconvenience. After paying $1569.00 I considered it payment rendered for product not received.My wife informed them after traveling several hours we were not interested in relocating. We would make do, but a partial refund was in order. After that email my wife and I never heard back from the reality company the rest of our stay.I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called them the day after our return home. I politely spoke with Sarah and explained the situation, and left a number I could be reached. I never received a return phone call, but I did receive an email offering $50.00 compensation. Their attempt at compensation was low, but I had no interest in haggling and accepted their offer via email.To date I have not received a refund, and am no longer interested in one. What I would like to do is inform the next renter of my experience, and hope I can save them money and their time.Regards,E. Garza

My family and I frequent the Boone and Blowing Rock area. Anderson Mountain Rentals is the only rental company we will ever use again. We have stayed in three different cabins and loved them all. Their staff has always taken good care of us. They treat us like family and are always on top of things.

I absolutely love Anderson Realty! My family and I came up this last Christmas and had such a wonderful time that we had to come back this summer. We look forward to renting again from Andersons wonderful staff and experiencing all of the seasons in their amazing, well kept, and clean cabins. I stay in one of Anderson Mountain Rentals cabins every time I visit the Boone area and I have for many years. They always have a nice variety of cabins to chose from and the staff is always friendly and willing to help. It is a family owned company and they know the area very well and are always able to suggest different things to do that my family might enjoy.

The cabin was perfect! It had a amazing hot tub and plenty of rooms for me and my family. The yard looked great and the people running this business are very friendly. Definitely coming back soon!

Everything about my stay was 5 star. The cabin was clean and excellently presented. i had a little bit of trouble finding it but when I called the staff were so helpful and courteous. Well be back in the Fall

Although the agency was friendly, our cabin was awful. We were very disappointed in it. It was not clean, updated, maintained, or adequately stocked. As a result, we will not be using Anderson Rentals again. I suggest that you look at your cabin in person before renting it if you do decide to use them.

Please do not stay with these people they are crooks, I stayed in a cabin for 2 days stepped through the bottom of the hot tub and had to get stitches in my legs I am big guy and the hot tub was old and cracked. I called them and told them they then evicted me and tried to have me arrested for vandalism then tried to sue me for fixing the rest of the house up. Worst experience I have ever had renting from anyone ever.

Hi Anderson Mountain Realty & Rental, This is now my 4th attempt to reach you. The past 3 went unanswered. I am surprised by your lack of response as you were really responsive when you wanted my rent check. When I want an answer to a questions your response time REALLY sucks. What exactly is the issues? I paid for a rental home and up held my part of the contract but you rent a property with issues . When asked for a small token of compensation you dont have smallest amount of consideration to even respond. VERY disappointed and would caution anyone before renting from this agency.

I wouldnt rent from them unless you want to be ripped off.
