This place is amazing, I highly recommend it!! Awesome staff and services! Ive done a bunch of sessions with Deana and Im loving the results. The Vivace is an incredible machine which has helped so much with my skins appearance and as an added benefit has made my skin way less acne prone. For skin resurfacing please note that you will most likely need to do multiple sessions to get the results you are looking for.

Color me impressed! Let me start by saying that everyone that Ive come in contact with has been welcoming and friendly (even on my bad days), and that means a lot to someone who has really bad social anxiety. Deana is down to earth, has a great sense of humor, and strikes me as someone that is knowledgeable in her field of expertise (very honest). Ive made the mistake of getting some work done at a few sketchy places but I feel like Im in good hands. I really like the overall vibe here, its pretty relaxed and no one pushes anything onto you either.

After having been to many different establishments around the South Florida area, its been a real pleasure to find a place with such experienced technicians with a vast array of product knowledge and know-how.I initially went in wanting a little TLC for my face and was very pleased with the results I got from the PicoWay laser. I had been going elsewhere for the removal of a couple of tattoos, but soon switched over for that too after learning it was significantly less money than what I had been paying. The results I got from the tattoo removal were immediately visibly and well above and beyond what I had been receiving from the other place. So, I got the benefit of not only paying less, but it seems the time its going to take to remove them is also basically cut in HALF!I also wanted to do some laser hair removal since shaving and waxing is such a pain. I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing the results were after the first session. It took me no time at all to see that the quality of the equipment and technology Beauty Smart offers is incomparable to other places in the area. Im very pleased with the experiences Ive had thus far and cant wait to try all of the other services they offer!!

I recently had the experience of receiving my first treatment of any kind on my skin for sun damage. The sun spots are from years ago and I received a laser treatment from Gina who was very professional. It was a great experience and she was very gentle. I was referred to Deana through my doctor for a small spot I had on my nose. I didnt know what it was, but every time I looked in the mirror, there it was, for almost one year. I went in and in 2 treatments that each lasted probably 5 minutes each, the spot disappeared after the second treatment in only days. The nice part of the experience was that Deana checked in by text EVERY DAY to see how things were moving along for me. I was so impressed by her follow up and that she really wanted to make a difference for me. She is professional and really cares about her customers. I started going to Deana a few months ago for laser hair removal. Ive got to say I was a bit apprehensive. I wanted full body hair removal. Ive had 3 treatments now and 1. I cannot believe how baby soft my skin is and 2. She made me feel SO comfortable although I was nervous about bearing all. I love not having to shave and my boyfriend loves it! Prior to receiving a recommendation for Deana at Beauty Smart, I had received multiple quotes in Boca and Delray to correct my age spots and acne scarring. A girlfriend of mine recommended Deana who quoted me much less than what all the other doctors were going to charge me. She used less invasive techniques on certain areas of my face that did not require the more abrasive procedure, and the more intense procedure on the areas that needed it; Therefore, minimizing my downtime. I thought my downtime was going to be 10 days and it ended up only being four; however, the results were as if I had had a major procedure. Every single one of my age spots is gone and my skin looks amazing. My only regret is that I waited this long. I am going back to see her again for the age spots on my legs. She will take good care of you and contrary to the Boca status quo, she wont hustle you. Professional, kind, and genuinely cares about her patients.

I did extensive research of finding “the best” person to help with my face. I read review after review and I finally chose Deana.The first time I consulted with Deana was almost 1 year ago. I am 35 years old, and my skin is needing a little “help”. Prior to going to Deana, my skin was damaged in a few spots. She suggested 3 treatments of the Picoway. I purchased 3 sessions for $1240. I was all ready for my treatment on 9/22, but when I get there, the machine isn’t there!!The 1st session was very intense; after I healed I didn’t see a difference. (which is fine, that’s why I purchased a package of 3). I went back for the 2nd treatment and the machine was “not working” correctly. When I got home, I realized that the 2nd treatment was only about ¼ as effective as the 1st treatment due to the machine not working correctly. Deana said she wouldn’t count that treatment. (obviously. But if I wouldn’t have said something she would have counted it). At this point my face is still the same. The next time I went there, Deana wanted to try something different because my face wasn’t responding. (even though we only “technically” did 1 treatment of the Picoway). I didn’t ask questions, I put my trust in Deana. We then did an IPL and something else (I think vascular, I’m not sure). No results again. Deana really did want to help me and improve my face, so I went back in at another occasion and did some other laser treatment, (I’m not sure what it was). With this treatment, my face scabbed over on the areas treated. When my face healed, all of a sudden, I had this pronounced circle on my cheek that was never there before. There were other spots on my right cheek prior, but now it is MUCH more pronounced. This “circle” was DEFINITELY not there before. Deana even said out of her own mouth that I did have prior marks on my right cheek, but now it’s a little more “pronounced”. (meaning, MY FACE IS NOW WORSE) I stayed so patient though this whole process. She said it would go away in time. (It has not).Deana then suggested that I come in when the trainer of the machines was there. I did, and he suggested an IPL. However, the IPL performed on my face only touched on minimal spots. (I’m not an esthetician/laser technician or anything, but isn’t a person supposed to do a series of treatments for something to work)??? Only 1 was done. Again, nothing improved on my face. (maybe because we never did a series of treatments!) At this point, the only thing I want is this “circle” on my face to go away that was never there.We then did a chemical peel on my face; I could tell it wasn’t going to do much to my face, because I wasn’t peeling that much; very mildly. The girl that performed the peel on me said it usually burns a lot more (because it wasn’t burning me at all).Deana said this would be the last procedure she would do on me. I told her the peel didn’t really “peel” much, so I had to ask if we could do another one. At this point, Deana doesn’t want to do anything else to my face. (even though it is now worse than when I started coming to her).She sent me a text of all the “FREE” treatments she did on me saying it totaled up to $2842. I don’t care if the treatments totaled $200,000!!!! The fact of the matter is, is that my face is worse than when I came to her. She is saying that it’s not, but I think I would notice a big “more pronounced” (Deana’s words) circle on my cheek. Attached are before/after pictures.Deana, you’re acting like I want some “FREE” treatments. I DON’T!!! I simply want my face back to where it was BEFORE coming to you. Money isn’t the issue; my damaged face is.In another text she said that she doesn’t think anything she can offer me will make me happy. Maybe a consistency of treatments would help.I NEVER came to her expecting miracles, (or anything unrealistic) but did expect some kind of improvement on my face for $1240. At this point, the LEAST she could do is refund me.I hope that my review resonates with someone, so they think twice about coming to Deana.

I went to BeautySmart, For hair removal in November 2015. I had my first treatment with Deana and everything went fine. I decided to get more areas of laser hair removal done and scheduled my second appointment with the technician, Shadia Krecht, during the session I received burns which left marks on both of my legs and arms. I have since learned that this is very common when the skin has even exposed to sun or harsh chemical. I was very nervous that these marks would not go away. Deana and the technician assured me that they would in time and guided me professionally through the process. I am happy to say that my skin is 100% back to normal it took about three months total.The tech, Shadia is no longer working at BeautySmart. I have had two more laser hair removal treatments from Deana and the results are fantastic. Thank you for your professionalism, for your guidance for your kindness and for helping me get through something that could have otherwise been a disaster.

Ive waited long enough to hear a response from Deana... Ive never done this before on any site about anything. But now Im convinced that I should tell you all what happened to us:Deanas technician burned my wife. She has permanent scars. On top of that, there are no results and its been well over the 28 days that Deana says to wait to see. All I did was ask for a refund, which I thought was reasonable, and since Deana put it in an email to my wife, I couldnt have fathomed she would react the way she did. Long story short: she refuses to admit her mistake because shes too arrogant and refuses to refund our $2800. I dont have time to do things like this and Im doing it because of how irate Ive been at the way Deana has handled this. When I think about this experience, I just think, I paid $2800 for my wife to have permanent damage and no results. Im embarrassed that Im writing this. But I have to tell you this so that you know that if things go wrong, youre not getting made whole. I had the whole email thread posted here between Deana and my wife where she guarantees the refund. But its too many characters. So I opted for the explanation instead.
