If you love wasting $168, requiring a notarized affidavit for a simple request on your account, and to work out amongst a color scheme so ugly it’s almost a blessing that Versace died before his tastes could be offended by another such south Florida original (nightmare), then come here. Once in as a member, you won’t be allowed to leave your subscription, and they’ll draw you back in like the mafia, and in a way nastier than the notion of student loans being passed on to loved ones after you do. This whole establishment is essentially a trick that exists to extort you from exit fees via myriad and ridiculous steps they make arbitrarily, although the headache this process creates is anything but. Come to workout, leave...never. Unless you have a “notarized affidavit, pay this fee, etc.” You’ve been warned!

Absolutely the worst. I have been a member for 4 years now and was incredibly disappointed with their attitude when the pandemic hit. Apparently, they would be applying credits to member accounts for the months of pandemic closure; however, when I emailed corporate to ask them for the credit to be applied to me, they simply ignored me until I decided to re-send the same email which they decided to reply with If you wish to cancel your membership please send a cancellation letter and $10.00 processing fee which absolutely blew my mind...not only did they completely ignore my initial concern, they also suggested cancellation of my membership with a fee of $10 which is unheard of. I also went out of the country for 2 months and had called and asked to freeze my membership which they told me could not be done unless I went in in person so I asked for a refund when I got back and was told they dont do refunds which led me then downgrading my card which apparently also costs $10 to do. Absolutely preposterous. Most of my family members and friends are members at youfit and it sickens me to know that this is the type of company we have been supporting. Zero customer service, money is above all else in this company. Disgusting. Stay Away if you dont want to deal with a ton of billing issues that will never get resolved.

My biggest issue is space. This location is waaaaayyyy too small for the area. Theres never any floor space for stretching or ground exercises. And I can never get any time in on the free weights. If you dont work monday-friday 9-5 and can go at off times then its okay. But its a nightmare when you can only go after work.

Terrible service. I am going to immediately cancel the membership. Took money from the account during the Pandemic. When asked to freeze the account, they did not inform me about the 2month rule. Plus, I was notified on the call that I will be reimbursed when I resume. I only got know about the 2 month freeze rule when they again took money of out my account after 2 months. I called them again to freeze the account (for which now I had to go in or send a letter) and when asked for the refund(for the payments during the period the gym was closed), I was told they were ONLY processing refunds within first 3 months of reopening (for the payments during the period the gym was closed). Again a new rule, which I had no idea about. All in all, I never got reimbursed plus they took additional money from my account. This shows a lot about company and it ethics especially during such unprecedented times. I have been a client for almost 3 years now and it is terrible to be treated like this. Never coming back after today. I do not recommend this gym at all.

They make cancellation unnecessarily difficult. There is no legitimate reason to not allow cancellation over the phone and/or internet. Its just shady b.s. to squeeze more money out of members. Just like continuing to bill people(myself included) while they were closed for months. They also raised my rate without notifying me.

I called youfit back in Feb, March when the pandemic started.They promised me that they would credit my account and would stop charging me while the gym is closed.I checked my statements recently and noticed that theyve been charging me the whole time.Its nearly impossible to connect with Corporate. Their customer service line just hangs up on you.Is anyone else having this issue?Its not fair that they are charging people a monthly member fee and gyms are closed.Even now, when most gyms are opening up YOUFIT is still closed. I want my money back! help!

Company is taking advantage of online billing. Once the pandemic closed down the gym, they continued to bill my account. I emailed the manager requesting him to close my account. He tells me I need to come in, in person, to the youfit in deerfield to cancel my account and that it cant be done online. I blocked them from charging my account and the whole time they were racking up past due payments on my account.Do not get a membership hereDo not support shady business practices like this

Nice facility. Very clean and the staff are professional and friendly. The equipment is kept up for the most part. Nothing down for too long. Their machines and weights selection is adequate for a descent workout but could use a little more variety. Overall a good place to workout.

I liked this gym, the problem is the companies billing. I moved away and wanted to cancel. I was first told it needed to be done at the location. They dont offer online cancellation to squeeze more money out of people who arent checking their account balance. Its been 4 years and I havent used the gym, and Im still getting billed. Why not just have an online cancellation? Too convenient? I dont even know how these guys got my bank account. I usually know better. Now Im told I can mail in a notice of cancellation. Some businesses are taking advantage of automatic billing, and this right here is a perfect example of that. Clearly unethical. They could cancel my membership on the phone, online, however they want. But they insist on making it inconvenient so they can unethically take advantage of customers. FACTS!!!

I have been a member of many country clubs and I must say that Youfit at Boca Town Center is the cleanest club I have ever been too. Staff is super friendly and professional. Managers there are always seen walking the floor and engaging with members. Also kudos to them for handling the nasty members and upholding common gym etiquette in the most professional way. Wish other gyms would do this! I will be recommending all my friends to this club. Thanks for all your hard work!

All the staff is super friendly here and the location is great for hitting the gym on the way home. I do have to say, this gym is small compared to the amount of people that are in here during busy times. The free weight area is always jammed full and I feel rushed to move so someone else can work out. And I often find myself waiting for a weight machine. And some of the cardio machines are rusted, which makes me really not want to touch them. But other than that, its a nice gym!

Town Center YouFit is simply the BEST gym period!! Friendly, inviting and very clean. I see a lot of comments on manager Jonathan, whom I must say is one of the nicest and most professional people I have ever met. He is always walking the floor, cleaning, and engaging with members. Also he and staff are very good at holding people accountable for gym etiquette and common gym policies. Any negative reviews are probably from people that have been talked to because they refuse to follow polices or lack basic gym etiquette. To Jonathan and team I say THANK YOU!! Keep up the great work!!

This was my first visit to YouFit and I was thoroughly impressed with my entire experience. From the ease of parking in a shaded/dry garage to immediately being greeted at the front desk with a polite and smiling employee named Amy. I couldnt believe how big and spacious the club was with clean and new equipment. I was also greeted by the manager Jonathan who was steadily working making sure that all of the gym members were happy. The members were also nice and were engaging with hellos and smiles. I also used the clean showers and had an extremely pleasant experience. I have worked out at many clubs over my years including LA Fitness and Lifetime and found this club to be above the others. And for this low monthly price you cant beat it. Try it out for yourself. Youll be impressed.

This is the best kept secret in Boca Raton! Staff is always so friendly and managers are very diligent! Place is also spotless! I tried the new LA that opened up but no one re racks any weights, staff there is rude and equipment doesnt get wiped down, so I ran back to Youfit! I will never leave again!

This is the best gym in Boca Raton! Staff is always friendly and smiling. They always make me feel so welcome. Managers Jonathan and Spencer are truly the best. They are always walking the floor, being friendly with members and making sure its clean. Also staff is very good at holding members accountable for common gym rules, which to be honest some of these people in Boca are the absolute worst, but atleast they deal with it as kind and professionally as they can and it makes us other members that do respect the gym, staff and management, respect them a bit more. If I could rate this place 10 stars I would! Keep up the great work!

Beware giving youfit your bank info!!! This was a smallish location with a minuscule locker room, slightly funky. The staff were a mixed bag but friendly for the most part. Not overly crowded even at 6pm on a weekday. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles of a larger location such as sauna or spacious room for classes but it does the job of a quiet basic workout. Low stars because it is affiliated with youfit, who has been charging me for personal training that I canceled 8 months ago but has never stopped coming out of my bank account despite numerous phone calls to stop and reverse the charges. They have the signed paperwork to cancel it last June but still charge me monthly. Also I won a free year membership for winning a weight loss competition there, but alas they never stopped charging my debit card for that as well. Another “mistake” that is proving exceedingly difficult to rectify. So they will take your money but seem unable to stop doing so even after you cancel/ win/ quit a service.

Wish I could leave negative stars cuz thats exactly what they deserve. Especially after looking at the negative feedback they get. They shouldnt be in business. The only good thing is the gym itself, its decent equipment and somewhat clean... But the staff are awful some of the employees are nice, but when I complained... I would expect the manager Jonathan to be helpful, but he was the worst of all. Im fed up with going to places and the bosss being pathetic power hungry tyrants. He was extremely rude and you would assume he would be polite but not at all!

GIVE ME A BREAK that YouFit prides yourselves on customer service and the prior email should reach out to our corporate customer service team info email address in regards to any issues with your account! YOU FITS INFO email address IS A SCAM!! The Managers (Jonathan and Gary) just cover each others tails. So dont expect a fair hearing there. (Legal recourse appears to be the only remaining option for that). The info email is just a way to avoid giving out information about a corporate HQ (which doesnt exist) or the name of an owner or real Manager who will actually do something. Its just layers of bureaucracy. They NEVER give you ANYONE who will actually help! If they REALLY do care…they can provide someone who will actually be objective, correct their shady actions, and then people would correct the public record! YOU FIT NEEDS TO STEP UP AND DO THE RIGHT THING!! THIS IS A PATTERN OF TROUBLING TREATMENT OF MEMBERS…and BY THE SAME MANAGERS!!***UPDATE: I notice the owner responds to most other posts, but not this one. Why? Its undeniable. So the answer other general complaints to merely pacify and give the impression that they do anything about the complaints. But they dont.

I had to write a review, as I noticed multiple people are writing about the manager Jonathan, I was working out and I walked into the bathroom and found throw-up on the floor and it was their for hours. this gym is so dirty that there is throw-up on the floor. In the past I went to a manager and it happened to be Jonathan (the guy with the beard) and told him how dirty it was and he just looked at me like I was bothering him. And they didnt do anything. I have friends who told me after the fact, that they had the same experience... so its pretty bad having service who is rude to its customers and then having throw-up none the less on the floors of its bathroom that isnt taken care of right away.Judging from the experience that the prior post from Mark K describes with your management team saying they will help and then they never do and which many of us at the club witnessed first hand, I wont hold my breath. And none of us are planning on renewing our memberships until all of these matters, including Marks, are dealt with. Dont just say youre going to fix the problems. Actually reach out to people and fix them.

I’m giving two stars just because the gym has a nice location and it looks clean, other than that I’m not satisfied at all. Staff is not friendly at all, the guy that was there didn’t even smile, he’s not professional enough to stay in the reception. It also felt awkward because I had to carry my bag( no locker unless you have a membership). Even though I have a free 7 day pass I will not be back.

My problem with U fit is their very cheap paper towels, you cant even get a piece out of the machine without it shredding apart. Spend the $$$ for better quality, &in the long run, you will save because then I (& everyone else) wouldnt have to rip off 2 or 3 pieces in order to get one piece. Same goes for the cheap toilet paper.

I was told that there were no contracts, no membership fees and no cancellation fees. No Pressure like it says on their advertisements. Well when I went to cancel in Dec 2013 they tried to charge me a $125.00 cancellation fee! They claimed I signed up for a full membership.The way they have you sign to accept the supposed month to month membership is on a computer where you cannot read what you are signing. They fooled me and now I am spending time and money trying to reverse the charges and put a stop payment on the vendor so to prevent then from continuing to charge my checking acct.***Update Jan 28 2014. Manager Lauren has been uncooperative in resolving this issue. She claims they email you a copy of the contract right after you sign it. If they mislead you to believe you are only signing the black pad for the card you need to get in, why would you bother to read the email they sent you? The disclosure should have been made upfront prior to signing a black pad with nothing to read. They tricked me and others into believing it is a no contract no hassles club. While visiting Florida I signed up for a couple months paying $19.99/mo so that my brother could come along. Now they claim I am on the hook for $125 cancellation fee becasue I cancelled in less than the one year membership.I am contacting the Better Business Bureau today. If anyone would like to join my complaint, please contact me.Xena

I work at the YouFit in Maryland/ lochraven. While visiting my dad down here for break, we decided to see the place. The front desk guy, Josh was very helpful and told us everything about the gyms here in Florida. My dad thought the YouFit in Maryland was stupid (without ever seeing it) simply because of the pricing and how it looked like planet fitness. After coming in and looking around, he said he wants to visit all the locations and possibly join! The only thing I would suggest is some new kettle bells.

Ive been going to YouFit for years.The two girls at the front desk said without the key tag or id I cant work out..I ask them to look at my picture in the computer and the said no. I was so mad. I joined YouFIt at this location and the staff are nice but I have visited several others (Boynton, Deerfield, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando) and wish they would update and/or move into a larger space (maybe old Sears?). The machine are old and rusty and there are limited choices, no classes, plus a poor selection of tv channels and promos. Its closest to my house but I will drive farther to enjoy the perks of other locations.Shame since it serves such a large community,

The manager(Lauren) fancies herself a petty tyrant, monitoring member conversations and havingthe hired hands report back to her, who she treats as peons. She makes it seem like she is doing members a favor by letting them work out there. She comes up with these ridiculous, unsubstantiated complaints from other members about things I said while I was in the club and cancels my membership.Beware of the speech police! I tried to schedule a training session with my trainer through Kevin. I was scheduled for 11am Saturday Sept 16th. Ive been waiting and waiting only to found out i wasnt on the schedule for today. Now this is not the only time kevin has screwed up with me. Normally when its the first time around I let it slide because people (even me) make mistakes. But dont start to make it a habit. I come here to workout just like everybody else and the money is deducted from my account every month. Thats not fair that i get treated like this at all because all I want to do is workout

Ive worked out at this gym and the manager just thinks hes the king! Its disgusting the way he treats people even regulars.
