I travel for work all over the US and it seems Im always away from home when something happens to my work truck. While travelling in Boardman for work (I do a lot of off road driving) I hit a large rock and began having steering problems. When I looked around for reviews, Flynns had the best reviews out of all of them, so I decided to give them a shot.And I am VERY happy I did, because the service I got there is something I miss in this day and age. For starters, they did the first thing most places DONT do, and listened to my comments and concerns AND actually took them into account when diagnosing my vehicle.Secondly, my grandfather has been a mechanic for over 70 years, still runs his own garage to this day and I spent all my childhood growing up in that garage and knowing a thing or two about vehicles. I was extremely happy when talking to the staff and knowing that they wernt trying to cheat or scam.Third, as travelling for work (and I work alone), I had no place to go while they were working on my vehicle, so I was there for an extended period of the afternoon. They kept me informed of what was wrong and what was taking time to fix. Also, during that time, they checked in with me to make sure I didnt need anything and I was still okay waiting. And to top it off, they moved thing around to even be able to get me in this afternoon, even though I could tell they had a tight schedule. (The place is busy. Thats one way you can tell they have good service. Everyone goes there even with tons of choices in the area.)Fourth, as I said, I do a lot of off road driving. Im well aware of how beat up my truck is. Im well aware of how hard it is to work on with all the after market modifications. Im well aware of how much mudd and dirt is crammed up underneath it. But you know what? Not a single comment or discriminate remark from them about it, even when I expect it.I stop at all kinds of mechanics, stores, tire shops and this is probably hands down the best experience Ive had. If Im ever in the area again, I know exactly where Im making an appointment if I need something.If you guys read this review, I appreciate the hard work you put in on my truck today.Cheers!

Had my Land Rover in for regular scheduled service and maintenance. Flynn Tire front office staff provide great customer experiences at very fair prices. JR, Bryce and Brian were very helpful and Glenn does great work in the shop. I’d recommend the team at Flynn’s to anyone who wants to get quality work done on time. Give them a call for a first, second and third opinion before paying dealership prices.

I needed to get in and out since we were in the area working and only had a limited amount of time to get tires on the trailer. I was in and out within 30 minutes. Thanks guys definitely recommend this company.

This facility was absolutely amazing. I was stranded on the turnpike after my AC compressor blew up at 2am. I was able to get a tow to this facility and stay in their lot. As soon as the company opened I was able to go in explain the situation and that I was out of town. The employees got right to work on my truck and knew that I was in a bad spot. They offered to accommodate me and tried to help me as much as they could. They even offered to take me to get something to eat and continued to check on me to make sure that I was okay. The compressor for my vehicle was not close but they put a rush on it and was able to get me back On the road as soon as possible. They were fair compassionate friendly and every employee there was very courteous and kind. I heard more employees say good morning yes maam no maam yes sir no sir more than Ive heard in a very long time.I appreciate all the hard work that they had done for me and I would recommend this business to anybody.Thank you for getting me back on the road and thank you for everything that you did.

I took my car in to have two new tires on...they put 2 front directional ties on...THE WRONG WAY!!!!!!!!!!! I FEEL IM OWED 2 NEW TIRES!!!!! Ive driven em like those for a a few months without knowing a belt busted in the front and it costed $200 to get them fixed right and new ones. Buyer beware. Do not go here!!!!!!!

Love me new tires for my wife vehicle. However, I never got a follow up call to confirm my appointment, so I called to confirm. They said they had an earlier appointment than I had requested so I took it. I specifically asked if it was a fast process which I was told 45 minutes. I arrived on time at 12:55pm for my new scheduled time of 1pm and I waited anticipating it would only be the quoted 45 minutes. I sat and waited, and waited. My car did not make its way back till just shy of 1:30 pm to start to be worked on. They finished at 2:30pm - double the quoted time. I understand things happen - but from start to finish it was a rough process for me. Bad part is I have to get tires on another vehicle and I am not sure where I will be taking it...

For once a shop (unlike like firestone) did the work with out all the talk. Good deal on a set of tires (BTW a really nice tire) and free aliment check that they then corrected. In 6 years my truck has NEVER drove so smooth and straight. Firestone couldnt even balance my old tires right. Go here avoid the headaches elswere. These guys are ok in my book!

These guys are great. The prices are competitive with other places in the area but the service far surpasses anywhere else I had been. They even pieced together my car after a highway incident free of charge one time a few years back. I only go to Flynns whether for tires, oil changes, or repairs.

I have been a customer here for years. Bryon and his team are honest, and their pricing is competitive. I feel comfortable while there. They actually care about me and the safety of my vehicle, and you can tell they want the best for you. They dont try to oversell or overwhelm either. I refer everyone there, and while its a risk to give out a name to others, with this place I feel confident! Excellent place for car care, I live in Austintown and still make the trip to Boardman because this place is top notch in service.

When do you EVER see an auto repair shop rated above 4-stars? Brian and JR are two honest guys who always put the customer first, and they are honest, courteous and friendly, especially with the older generation and those who dont know a tie rod from a saute pan.I dont know about the other Flynns locations, but this shop and these two managers are as good as it gets when it comes to tires and general auto repair.

I bought and shipped my own tires to Flynns in Boardman and without any attempt to get me to buy their products they happily mounted, balanced, and installed my new tires. Highly recommend them to anyone who needs tires, tire service, or other auto services.

EXCELLENT. The guys up front are great, excellent customer service, most definitely going back here again. We agreed on purchasing a certain set of 4 tires, they called me later stating that they did not realize they only had 3 of that particular tire, so they upgraded us to a set of 4 tires of a better quality and gave them to us for the same price as the original agreement. These guys know how to run a customer friendly business...

I had a scary incident where my tire blew out on the highway. After calling a couple places I settled on Flynns after talking to the associate Becky. She was calm and very helpful considering I am the not the most knowledgeable in the automotive department. The prices were the best and they even offered to price match if it wasnt! Barracuda (my car) got a nice unexpected spa day getting 2 new front tires and the ol oil changed. 👍🤙👍

Augh. Waited over 1 and a half hours for a simple oil change (sent here by Enterprise Car Rental) that I had to make an appointment 2 days in advance for on top of it. No communication by anyone on an update during that time. Not a very good experience unfortunately.

I am VERY particular about my 2001 Dakota with 66K miles. Today was my second visit to Flynns Tire. My first time was a few months ago for a front end alignment and even when I walked in today being skeptic, I was treated like a valued customer. They checked my truck out and showed me personally that my transmission lines that run from the radiator to the transmission were rusted and starting to drip. They then checked my tires, fixed a slow leak in one of the tires, rotated my tires and sent me on my way. Total cost...Not a dime. They have built my confidence in their performance and earned my future business. They will even let me bring my own parts. I buy everything from RockAuto or Summit Racing. I will be going back within 30 days to keep my truck free of defects. I only have myself to rely on, so my truck needs to be in top condition.

Honest, fast, better than average pricing. I was convinced I needed a fairly expensive repair. They discovered the underlying issue and fixed if for practically nothing. They also have a large, clean waiting room with tables and comfortable chairs.

I needed a wheel alignment. Come to find out my tires were worse than I thought. I had just enough for one tire and the sales guy JR wanted to make sure I get at least the one tire b/c he was concerned about my safety! Needless to say I came back bright and early Monday morning to get my other tire and wheel alignment! I was very pleased with the service and timely manner the manager Bryon and his team completed my car service! They are my new go to place and I highly recommend them!!!

These guys were great to me!! I had to miss my appointment due to weather issues, they were patient and squeezed me in as soon as I could get my car there. They called to double check on everything before servicing, and although I was only purchasing tires, they let me know of other issues with the car, so I could decide what to do before I spent all of my money on tires. They dealt with my constant phone calls through the day to reschedule/ask for updates/ask random questions with a friendly conversation and never made me feel as if I were bothering them (thank you Bad-news-Brian!). I will highly recommend them to anyone!

Company rig blew a tire at the Ohio border on PA/OH turnpike.Tandem axle trailer so we limped in after the rubber blew off at the city limit.Brian and crew are amazing. New tires, spares, and a wheel to boot.Sears, and National Tire &Battery just put us in the que. These guys are a joke! Took my truck in for break work, they fixed the line but my brakes are still soft. Jr told me they fixed my truck, he was nothing more than a god damn liar. Now Im out $162 and have to go to another shop to have it fixed properly. Never take your vehicle here for maintenance work, youll probably end up on the side of the road again!

The service was excellent. The service manager Kyle was very good at explaining everything that was going to be done to my truck and why it was needed.

These guys came through for me when I was in a huge pinch. Car had overheated and shut down on a trip from Virginia to Michigan. I had hit a freaking raccoon and it destroyed my radiator. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff helped me get ahold of a rental (when there were apparently no cars available in the area) and even drove me to the Hertz up the road. They had it fixed by the next day and waiting for me when I came back through a few days later to get back to Virginia. I wish they had a location down here.

Ive been a customer for quite some time but have been recommending others to Flynns. My mother had a loud exhaust yesterday and another shop she took it to told her she needed a new part and would cost $800. Flynns had her back on the road in an hour with the problem fixed for $60. They are an honest shop with friendly employees. Won;t be taking vehicles anywhere else for repairs or tires.

I havent come here for any auto services YET, but Id like to give this Auto Repair shop credit for their honesty. I came here with my Ford Explorer asking for a tranny flush. Instead of eagerly trying to make money off me like two other auto shops, Flynns workers explained to me that they dont do tranny flushes for vehicles over 100,000 miles because it tends to cause more problems in the vehicle afterwards. Later when I researched the topic online, I found that many people destroyed their old transmissions by getting tranny flushes. Thank you so much for the heads up. I really appreciate it!
