The Service Manager Chris was professional and still had a good sense of humor. He is very knowledgeable about cars, parts and service. He wasnt pushy and understands that money doesnt grow on trees. He explained to me what parts were needed right away and which ones could wait till my next pay. He explained everything in detail and did not get upset when I asked the same question again. He went above the call of duty and even saved me money by finding me a great deal. I will always go there and see Chris-I highly recommend

It pains me to write a one-star review for this location when, up until this point, I had only had five star experiences. John, the manager, is wonderful and has always treated me respectfully and kindly. However, this weekend I dealt with Greg, a younger man I had never seen before. To say that this was less than a stellar experience would be a gross understatement. I had a work order in place, from an estimate built by john, it was a simple matter of a drop off.Greg seemed confused, tried to talk me in circles, and insisted they had to do an evaluation to make sure that Johns estimate was correct. Even after explaining in depth what I was there for, and advising him the estimate was in the computer, he still didnt seem to understand what I was there for, and kept insisting I was just there for rear brake pads even though I was there for quite an extensive bit of work. Finally I asked to speak with a manager above him and his reaction was to get offended and say excuse you?!I would love to know in what reality this is an acceptable form of customer service and de-escalation when you have an upset customer?Ive been going to this location for years, and have spent quite a bit of money there, in spite of the fact that there are cheaper locations in this area simply because of the high level of customer service I have always received. I am not someone that is super knowledgeable about cars and I have always felt as if I was dealt very directly with there, in spite of that. This weekend completely negated all of those experiences and I will now have to seriously consider if Im willing to allow them to work on my car again.

Absolutely amazing! About to go back for new tires! 10/10 amazing service everyone is extremely kind and polite. I just saw a post of someone saying employees being rude!? Thats completely false!!!! The guy at the head desk to greet you “Greg” always has a smile on his face and does justice! Definitely someone I enjoy as a costumer to greet me when I first come in. Service is amazing, quality work. Again 10/10 only place I will go for tires and other automotive essentials!

My daughter took her car here to get an alignment. About an hour later my wife called me and said I need to call and talk to John. I called and he informed me that the outer tie rod ends were bad and the ball joints were also bad. I live in PA and recently had the car inspected. He let me know there is no way it should have passed. He explained he could have the parts the next day and it would no problem to fix. I asked how much he said 2,100 dollars. Parts and 4 hours labor. I said I will have a look at it. Ordered the parts on Amazon for about 140 dollars and changed both ball joints and tie rod ends in my driveway in about an hour. I am not a mechanic and dont have a car lift and do not do this on a regular basis. I am not sure where the 2100 goes but they were obviously overcharging me. Beware of this scam only one ball joint was bad the tie rods were both still like new. Please find a trusted mechanic so this does not happen to you. And if it does post and leave feedback.

Thank you so much for squeezing me in tonight for tires! Ive been struggling with a not-so-slow leak for over a week because of my work schedule and didnt realize you were open on Sundays. I greatly appreciate it. The staff and service were wonderful.

Recently we were on a trip from Minnesota to Ohio and my daughter needed brakes and rotors done on her car. Although NTB was able to get her in and do the brakes, they forgot to tighten the caliper bolt. Fortunately we were able to make it back to Minnesota and she got it repaired, it could have been a lot worse.

On our way through Ohio, one of our tires sprung a leak, and we called the Boardman NTB, and the store manager, John Scarabino, found a replacement tire in stock. We didn’t have to wait too long to get the tire replaced and back on our way. Greg did a great job at the counter, and made sure my five kids were set up in the waiting room. Thanks for saving our vacation!

I was very greatful for the $19 and change coupon as I think many oil change prices are unnecessarily high. Although it did not appear busy in the front or the waiting room area it took well over an hour for the oil change. Remarkably every customer they did come out to speak with had need of some repairs none that I heard of several was under $600 being very low. It seemed strange but what do I know

NTB customer service is unsurpassed. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and honest as rain! They may diagnose issues not related to your visit but never push. I like that. Its worth the 20 minute drive when I need to get there.

This was a horrible place to do business with, First I told them what I wanted done and after taking my money and citing safety concerns that did not apply to my vehicle they refused to do what I paid them for. Also I just recently was showing low air pressure in my front tire on the sensor in the car, figured maybe the sensor was bad but nope, when they put the new tires on the car and changed the rear tires to the front they never changed the sensors around, realized that when the rear tire went flat and the sensor showed it was the front tire, So much for there B.S safety issue, also the front has been making some kind of rubbing plastic noise since they did this work and have yet to try to make it right. This place will never get a penny of my money again.......

Gross overpricing of repair parts used. Was charged $75 each for sway bar stabilizing links that I could buy for $17.69 each. And charged $220 for a right front lower control arm/ball joint assembly I could buy for $113.79. Total charges for parts and labor which included basic wheel alignment was $845.98. And Im talking Moog parts, not some cheap China made parts !!! Anyone else think this was a bit much ? Im retired on Social Security, not made of money !!!

I picked up a nail in my vechicle and was losing air. I was at get go and they were the closes place. I know it was close to closing but don’t have a spare. I was hoping they would fix it. The guy working behind the counter could care less that he just sent two women in a car that the tire was going to be flat before I got home. I WILL never step foot back in this store. What if it was his wife or better yet maybe his daughter.

Tire popped on highway got towed to NTB and they were able to fit me in for a Reasonable Price at a REASONABLE TIME. John Scarabino is a great Salesman same with the team they all great you as soon as you walk in.

They tried to tell me i needed a service on my vehicle. I took it to the dealers and had 3 technicians look at it. They said it wasnt needed. It took almost 4 hrs. To get new tires put on even though i had an appointment.

I guess if you get a regular tire installation they are not bad. I had them install my low profile all season 20 inch tires on my 300C. These are factory rims and tire sizes. I got them from Tire rack and they Installed them. For the past year they have gotten progressively worse with holding air. I have taken them to True Tread and they had to reseal all 4 because of the half ass job at NTB. I took them back to them once to correct but to no avail. My other car which has 18 inch tires and rims they did correctly. It has cost me 40 dollars a tire to fix what they did wrong in the first place. I will be sending my concerns on to tire rack as well. So much for saving money on tires at Tire Rack.

Love NTB. Have been using them as a company since 2004 when I lived in Columbus. Theyre the only company I trust to fix and maintain my vehicles. Honest service.

After Sams club told me that it would be a 4 hour wait to check the pressure and possibly add air to my tires I decided to go there half mile down the road to NTB. I was not disappointed. They had me in and out. Very polite and professional!

Had to call five times to finally get the phone answered. Person who answered had the personality of a doorknob. Put me on hold to look up price and never got back on phone. After waiting 30 minutes, I gave up.

Have not had a bad experience. My second time running into Jim Broadbent and let me tell you this guy has been nice to me every time. Knowledgeable and patient ( I know nothing about cars ). I recommend this location. Also, CJ is awesome. Look him up!

Terrible treatment every time I have been there. Each time I have had a scheduled appointment and each time I have been made to wait hours for a wheel alignment and oil change. Customer service is terrible and I have experienced rude, unprofessional and what I believe to be racial discrimination at this site. I recently went in for an appointment at 5pm and my car was completed at around 7-7:15. I had returned to the store at 7:30 and Im now sitting in the front lobby waiting patiently about 20 more minutes to pay for my services (a customer was paying for her services). As the employee Jim finishes the transaction with her and she walks out, I proceed towards the counter and in comes another customer and Jim thinks that it is perfectly okay to tend to the gentleman that just walked in to the store. When I approach the counter and let him know that I would like to pay for my services before he takes care of the gentleman because Ive been waiting to pay and I just wanted to go because I had been there since 5, he had the audacity to catch an attitude and then LIE and sarcastically said well I didnt see you, and Ive been here since 7 in the morning, but let me take care of you since youre the most important person in the world.....meanwhile I had been sitting right in the front lobby with my 4 yr old grand daughter talking with her and she was walking back and forth because she became restless and he had been at the counter the entire time!!! Long story short because there is more...I e mailed the manager John of the store about the situation and the other rude unprofesional things he said to me and have yet to receive a response. To top it all off I still need a wheel alignment so I dont even know if they did it properly.

We were traveling and the tire pressures were low due to the temperature drop. We stopped there. They corrected our tire pressures for use at no charge. Greet place with friendly people working there. The employee that came out side to correct the problem was very friendly . Good place they know how to treat customers.!

Worst tire shopping experience in this area. Went in with a quote I got from their own website and the sales guy gave me a price on the same tires that was $45 higher. than onlone. When I asked him why it was higher he said it was because the price online does not include all the services I showed him that it did, and they were charging me $99 for installation on 4 tires in store but online it was only $62. He refused to meet that price! When I asked him what was the point of having a website then he said look lady I dont know Im not IT. I walked out, if youre so blatantly going to lie to me and try to rip me off I dont want anything to do with your business.

It would Be ZERO if I could!!!First off the initial tire install appt. was for 3:30 and they didnt even move my care until almost 5. So it took 3 hours to change one tire! I was already done with these doors but it gets worse!After waiting in the waiting room for 30min finally someone came out form the back. These people are untrained fools who act smart but pretend to be stupid if there is an issue. Bought a tire went flat two days later. Brought it back. They took the tire and came back and said I ran over something. They showed me a hole, that I did not notice when I inspected the tire, and said can’t fix it. They would replace if I had the road hazard their salesman said was a waste of money.Not only will I never return here but I will be sure to inform anybody I know abou the poor service and sloppy employees who are at best rude.

I would give one star but it wont let me. I will never go back here again. Sick of these companies thinking they can rip off their customers. Took my car in to get the tires aligned up and they said it needs all new bushings. I just got my car inspected the day before in West Virginia. They refused to line the car up. Had to take it down the road to Flynns. They put it on rack and said there is nothing a wrong with the car. This is the second time this place did this. Will never go back again.

Had an appointment for a tire change and ended up getting an alignment package too. The alignment took awhile, but the tech took me out to the alignment rack to verify the custom settings I had requested. The shop will use the alignment specs you provide and will verify settings with you if they are unable to meet them exactly. I was very pleased with the results on my autocross car.

Was ok experiance. I listened to two employees whine and complain about their jobs while waiting for my tires to be installed.The guy who checked my out was incredibly friendly. The initial guy who checked me in was gruff, and one of the whiners. I had to go back in after getting into my truck and seeing they hadnt filled the tires to the correct pressure. The guy who checked me out, was kinda and told me where to pull my truck so he could get them to the right pressure. All the while the other guy tried to tell me I dont know my own truck.

Very greatful for all they did for me and my family. Kept us safe by finding a brake error and repairing it at an amazing price. So greatful to these wonderful people. Thank you Lord for all of them. Bless them for their kindness.

I’ve never had an issue with this store’s work. They are just very slow. I’ve waited 2 hours for tires, and 1.5 hours for rotations/oil changes. Prices are not very competitive either. However I can overlook pricing/job times if the work is done correctly which they do.

The work was done but they so conveniently charged me for $25 worth of gas which I neither asked for nor did they alerted me about before doing so. This place is terrible...desk mnager had bad energy....i went for a new tire..he wuotes me at a price then it ended up being extra because of lack of communication...told me i needed 3 other issues resolve i selected to resolve one of them...at checkout a mechanic informed me about another issue with a “btw your rear spring is broken”..wouldnt that be aomethinf you tell me before check out maybe be a bit more personable...then when i left the new tire was place in the rear with ineffcient air pressure...my most worn tire was placed in the area where one of my issues was occuring whereas it would have been safe to place the new tire in that area...basically find you an in town mechanic with credibility inyegrity and professionalism...stop at valvolibe for an oil change...this place is sketchy and lazy

Nothing, even though youve seen a staff member 2 more times. I get you may have issues. I get maybe theres an employee problem, a call off. But all it would have taken, from the customers perspective, a simple Im sorry about the wait. Thats ALL it would have taken and Id have gladly sat down and held on longer but NOPE, not a word till Im asking another customer to them the staff Im leaving as there is STILL no one at the counter and a tall man walks out, says he needs to talk to that lady first without any concern for my time or my doing business with NTB or any apology UNTIL I say Im taking my business elsewhere. WOW!It has been a LONG TIME since I was treated like an afterthought. And when you throw in the fact that Im a paying, loyal customer, it just adds fuel to the disappointment fire.See ya NTB. Ill pay the couple extra bucks elsewhere, where Im treated as if my business matters and my loyalty means something.From Feb/2018:Great pricing and a decent staff, NTB is my place for an oil change/tire rotation, especially when I have their both for $19.99 coupon. Nice place and they do good work. I needed some work done before driving back to N.Y. and they came through for me.

Service was average at best. I brought my car in with a tire that wouldnt hold pressure. It took me taking my car there twice for them to find that it was a small piece of a nail in my tire causing it to go flat. They didnt charge me for the follow up visit, which was nice since I shouldnt have had to even go back. One piece of advice, MAKE AN ONLINE APPOINTMENT IF YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Do not expect to walk in and be able to have your car serviced within an hour or 2 that wont happen. Overall if I had another tire issue I wouldnt have a problem going back here. The staff was decent and I eventually got my problem fixed correctly. Much cheaper than other places I have looked up.

Took my car in for tires. They called me and wanted to sell me a battery. I said no. So they had a different manager call me and try to sell me a battery at a lower price. Very annoying.I first posted this review 11 months ago. At that time, NTB told me that my battery needed to be replaced. That same battery that supposedly needed to be replaced is still in the car. So, if you want unnecessary repairs made on your car, this is the place to go.
