Dont rent here. look elsewhere. you feel like the garage would be the safest spot for your car, truck or even motorcycle but its not. multiple occasions of break in and motorcycles stolen. its safer to leave your car outside then inside. management does not cared. ask what their plan was and they said we doing the best we can. they say they have cameras at exits and entrances but not in the middle of a big garage and where all the crime happens. heard stories from past tenants still getting into the apartments main areas. for the price you pay youd think they would have better security procedures when stuff happens. being rude and throwing your hands up isnt what someone is looking for. this is what you get when paying someone $15 an hour plus commission on signed leases. they truly dont care.

We have lived here for 4 months now and have had no issues or complaints. The staff is incredibly friendly and jump on any concerns quickly (maintenance items, etc) They are extremely accommodating and we were on the first floor and couldnt hear our neighbors at all even though three kids lived across the hall from us. Pet friendly too! I highly recommend living here.

Wow! What a great experience and seamless process it was when I was moving into this place. I dealt with Jennifer leasing manager and she was awesome. Very knowledgeable always available and never made me feel like I wasn’t the top priority. I have lived in many high-end complexes but the service so far here has been the best of them all. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due. Thanks Jen and the rest of the leasing team at Luxembourg for making my transition into a new building a wonderful experience.

After shopping around we chose the Lux, located in the same convenient area as our house of 15 years. Great decision! It is quiet, dog friendly, offers great amenities, and feels like home. The local leasing office is wonderful - we cannot say enough about Beth, Jordan and Jennifer. They welcomed us and have answered all our questions along the way. We experienced an incredibly smooth transition from one unit to another. The maintenance crew is friendly, responsive and great at their job. We envision staying at the Lux for years to come!

I can’t say enough good things about Luxembourg and its staff! The ladies down in the office are absolutely wonderful to work with. I have placed a few maintenance requests for random tasks and they have all been completed in a timely manner, so the maintenance crew is exceptional, as well! I highly recommend this complex for anyone looking in the Bloomington area. The rates are reasonable, especially for the service provided. Building and grounds are always clean and quiet too. Weve lived at Luxembourg for a year. After being in a house for 20 years, I was apprehensive about apartment life, but Lux has been a fantastic place to live. Everything feels newish and fresh. Loved the pools and workout facilities. Covered parking on your own level so no need for an elevator when bringing in groceries. A great diversity of residents of all ages who are friendly and respectful in the midst of COVID. And the staff are the best--accessible, responsive and always welcoming. We just bought a house and will be moving out, but I will miss this place.

We have loved living at the Luxembourg! It’s the best apartment complex and unit we’ve lived in - feels more like a high-end home than an apartment. The staff is extremely friendly, they’re helpful, and get to know you on a personal basis. Barb is amazing! She worked with us to find the perfect arrangement for what we were looking for, stayed late and helped our close friends move in as well. She’s dedicated, and you can tell she truly cares about what’s she’s doing. The amenities are beautiful, the building is quiet, and the area has so many things to offer from restaurants to hiking to shopping. We’re definitely feel at home at the Lux!

I have lived at the Luxembourg for a little over a year and a half now and I truly enjoy it. The apartments have great 10 foot ceilings, multiple closets in the bedroom, large soaking tubs and great finishes. The complex itself is very nice with great amenities and security features. The pricing is very competitive with other comparable complexes in the area. It is also conveniently located near many restaurants and stores as well as lakes and hiking areas. The staff is so nice and always available for any help that I have needed. Having gone through some of the growing pains that the negative reviewers have posted about this complex I can honestly say that those complaints are no longer any issue. The gym is new and modern, the pools, both in and out are nice and rarely crowded. And the club room and theater are both open after hours for use and enjoyment. I would highly suggest the Luxembourg to anyone looking for an upscale apartment in the Bloomington or south metro area.

This is honestly one of the best places I have ever lived. The price was great, it was super safe and the amenities were on the next level. 2 pools both inside and out, dog park, games, large patios, large kitchen islanders, and free cable. Not many places offer this. One of the most unique features were the safes built inside the closet. I could not find this feature in apartment in Minneapolis. The staff were super friendly and they treated me with the upmost respect. I really enjoyed my stay.

UPDATE:Since my last review, there have been changes that have made the apartments much more worth the money. For one, the leasing office DID reach out to me about my concerns ( I didnt answer because who answers an unknown phone number? not me!)The gym is open now and I can get a great workout in. It has a nice little pool inside and outside. Free weights, TVs, and much more are open for use. Usually the gym is pretty quiet which makes me happy. Its clean and well kept. The atmosphere is welcoming and I think the details are getting noticed. Again I want to say the front office people are nothing but kind and flexible - additionally they remember my name and make sure to say hi. So overall, my satisfaction went up enough to even resign my lease.I give 4 out of 5 because the garage door still get stuck sometimes. Either way, much happier!

Thats the bad (and the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). Now for the good. These apartments are GORGEOUS! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The construction, despite what others have said, moves slowly but surely ahead. Construction workers are here 5 days a week working and making progress. This place was absolutely horrible. Fancy looking apartments that are made of the cheapest stuff possible. Sound-proof walls yet you could hear normal conversations through the wall. We moved in Sept 16 and were told amenities would be finished in a few months - we are no longer there (thank god) and they are STILL not done. They will lie to you and anything they can to get you to sign a lease. When we were the there the placed wreaked of pot smoke. It was bad. So definitely not a place for kids. I had left a negative review when I lived there and Jordan from the office told me they would waive one of my fees if I took it down. So they use bribery to try and avoid people posting negative reviews. This is the worst place I have ever lived in my life. Avoid at all costs!

I have only been here for two weeks, so this review is preliminary at best.My initial move in was easy and stress free. I would recommend to the office that they create a move in checklist for residents, as for previous property owners like myself tend to not think of everything and moving can be taxing at best. Some things would be - setup of alarm system, setup of web pay online, setup of name/number at front entrance, garage sticker for car, completion of move in checklist, addition of name in mailbox, submission of rental insurance to Richdale, dog DNA testing. My best advice in the meantime is to be your own advocate, make your own lists, and follow up with the office as needed. I expect they have busy schedules and when reminded they do respond promptly and positively. So far I have not been disappointed in the unit and I have been quite comfortable (I work from home therefore here most of the time). The quality of the construction is not incredibly solid, but these apartments are clean and classy if that is what you are looking for. My standards of living are high, my search was wide and lengthy, and these units inside are some of the best I could find in the price range. I have had 3 instances where I needed maintenance to come in and fix something minor. The maintenance staff was respectable each time and always knocked before entering. These apartments are ideal for singles or couples without children. I would not recommend these units to families with young children. There is no playground for children and children are not allowed to play on the balconies. On a more positive note, it is a good place for people who own small dogs, as it appears to be quite dog friendly which is sometimes hard to find.

Ive lived at Luxembourg for 1 1/2 years now. The staff in the office at Luxembourg are great! The company that owns Luxembourg? Not so much.I have a son in a wheelchair. When I asked about having accessible buttons put on 5 very heavy doors, I was told they would do it but I, as the renter, would have to foot the bill even though other residents would obviously use the buttons. It would cost over $22,000 and that did NOT include the price of the electrician which would have probably been another $20,000. Seriously? I was informed that they were complying with all ADA laws and that the city of Bloomington did not require them to put accessible buttons on doors to their buildings. What kind of company would make a resident pay for handicapped accessible buttons to be placed on doors that all residents would use? Elderly, other people with physical disabilities, parents with children in strollers, people carrying multiple bags. Its not like they spent money building the place with high quality materials and appliances. My son also requires a nurse to care for him at night from 9 pm to 7 am. Several times a week, the nurse cant find parking. The building is huge with tons of apartments. There are approximately 20 parking spots, maybe, in the front of the building. In the back of the building, there are 2 rows of parking spots along the length of the building. Thats it. Oh wait, they have overflow parking about 300 feet away from the back of the building. When I asked if I could get garage openers for my sons nurses, I was told that the parking garage was only for residents. Funny, since all their employees park either there, or in the prime spots of the regular parking lots. When I asked if they were going to stop that, I was told no because they are their employees and dont park there overnight. Yeah, and they dont pay rent either to park there during the day. Any other business that has clients......their employees are the ones to park furthest away. Its very frustrating because I love the location, the floor plan, the office staff and the community events they have. I dont even mind the cheap materials, cabinets and appliances. The decisions the management company makes leaves a lot to be desired.

Do not move here until it is completely done being built!!!!!We move in November 2016 and were told all of the amenities were going to be finished by January 2017. It is now February 2018 and nothing is finished. No indoor pool, no outdoor pool, no gym, no dog park, no walking track. We even talked to the management because we do not believe we should be paying for an apartment building we were told was going to be finished. They said they cannot lower our rent or let us out of our lease early because our lease has a “construction clause” in it. This building could have been completely finished in 2 months, but the greedy owner refuses to pay construction companies to finish it. I can see into the gym from my apartment and nothing had been done in there in months. We stayed her for our entire 18 month lease with none of the amenities, while still paying for them. The reason I am giving them a 2 start review instead of a 1 Star review is because I think it will be a nice apartment once it is actually finished. They are very dog friendly and we hardly ever hear our neighbors. Maintenance will come within 3 days of calling them. Water leaked from the light in my closet and they fixed it that same day. Our AC wasn’t working and they came the next day. We had a funky outlet and it took them 2 days to fix it, which is pretty good considering most apartments.Seriously, do not move here until it is completely done being built! After that, it’ll probably be a good apartment.

Do not rent here! This community caused us so much unneeded stress!! We applied a few months ago and stated on our application that we had to break a lease to move out of state. I also stated that I had to break a previous lease in my past, however on both occasions, I paid the penalty fees in full (per my lease agreements). Luxembourg proceeded to run our credit and applications. 2 weeks later, they denied us due to our pattern of lease breaks.. In my eyes, we showed a pattern of taking responsibility in paying all fees associated with breaking leases up front (totalling $3K per lease break). Who knew that following the rules according to your lease agreement would have such an impact on future rentals? Also, they obviously should have let us know at the time of application that we wouldnt be approved instead of stringing us along for 2 weeks. Regardless, we applied at a different luxury apartment community shortly after and were approved within an hour of applying...We are very happy with our new community and feel we dodged a bullet by not renting here. I only wish we read the reviews of the management company prior to applying. My boyfriend just got a call from the management office asking to take down his 1 star review... Sorry! Not going to happen!

My experience with Luxembourg has been amazing. I moved in as a recent grad school graduate so this is my first post-college apartment. Ive now lived here for 14 months and am very happy with my experience. The staff goes above and beyond, the units are gorgeous, and the indoor garage is a huge bonus. The units are smartly designed to maximize storage and space, the high ceilings make the place feel luxurious, the walls block out virtually all noise from the neighboring apartments, and while they are a little on the expensive side, they were cheaper than any other comparable complexes in the area at the time I was apartment hunting. While it is a bummer that the amenities are still under construction, the free lifetime membership made up for it.I would definitely recommend this place!

You can find way better. Keep in mind during this review that these are brand new apartments that are not cheap to rent! The door to my balcony leaks so much air that I can hold a lighter close to the door and it will get blown out by the breeze coming in. This causes the floor to be very cold as well as the heat to run more than it should; heat is not included in the rent.I was told amenities would be done in November when I moved in. They must have meant next November because they are still nowhere close to being done.No assigned parking so some days you are lucky to find a spot. I asked if there would be assigned parking in the future and I got a response that in the future rentable spots will be available for $90/month. So you have to pay $90 a month to park in a assigned spot? The garage is supposed to be heated. Well, it was a balmy 33 degrees F yesterday on the third floor inside the garage, hardly melted off the snow from my vehicle. There is no system (buzzer, cellphone, etc) in place to let guests into the building. If someone stops by you have to run down and let them in the building. Also very minimal guest parking. The last time I looked the front entrance is still not finished and is being secured shut by a piece of wood.Outside noise is also plentiful. However, I will say that inside noise is very minimal. In conclusion, for the price you pay for this place and what you get, you can find a lot better elsewhere.

1-star because of the incredibly shady handling of everything from property promises to normal, reasonable requests.Lets start with the broken promises:1.) Your apartment will be nice and new and ready for move-in by January 1st! We were made to wait until late February to move in. They strung us along and would provide updates about the move-in readiness of the unit at such a late point where we were forced to work it out with our previous landlord to extend our stay on very short notice. Luckily, we made that work.2.) November of 2016 We arent done yet, but by early Spring, you will have a finished fitness center and an outdoor courtyard space, complete with a pool! Its 2018, and the fitness center isnt done yet. Thats almost a full 2 years later. That whole first summer was a bunch of construction out in the courtyard resulting in our THIRD floor unit being absolutely covered in dirt. We couldnt even use our balcony, unless we wanted to spray it down daily. The pool just got finished late Spring of this year (2018) meaning that came to fruition a full year late.3.) We were promised a great theater space and a lounge area to use regularly. The lounge closes at 6pm (including the party room) and you cannot reserve it. You also cannot rent out the theater room or use it at all outside of the irregular events that may get hosted there: such as the Super Bowl. These are both spaces that look nice when youre about to move in, but youll never actually be able to use them. If you ask about why you cant reserve the spaces youll get someone trashed the room and didnt clean up once, so we never rent it out anymore. The property managers here are largely unable to help you with any sort of request you have, short of Jennifer. The phrase you will hear more than once is Thats just our policy, sorry.Jennifer was essentially this apartments ONLY saving grace. She would actually try to help make things right and work with you.Move in here at your own risk.. you will likely end up very frustrated at many turns, from being overcharged for rent and being told youll get it later after the accounting process does their auditing (can take up to 6 weeks) to seeing amazing amenities locked up all the time, this has been a terrible experience. What once looked like a promising beautiful apartment with an amazing array of amenities turned into a string of poor living experiences and bad management, from the top down.

DO NOT RENT AT THE LUXEMBOURG!!!!! I really wish I could give 0 stars. These people will scam you out of your money. I recently received our security deposit (LATE, after the 21 days they said it would arrive) and they took $380 out of the check and they also double charged me for my water bill. They took $380 out of the security deposit to replace a stove top for a burn mark. So IF you decide you want to risk your sanity and live at the Luxembourg, be ready to not receive your full deposit back. I got slapped with a $380 fee (another review said she had the SAME ISSUE but hers was $409, guess I should feel lucky huh?). This is very common of them to do as I am continuing to read more reviews with my same issue (a total of 6 people). For a grease stain or a burn mark on the stove top!!!!! I have provided them with proof of payment for the water bill and Kristi Keyser hung up on me!! This is only the LEAST of my worries at this place!!Before signing our lease, they promised that the pool and gym would be done within 2 months of us living there. THAT WAS A LIE!! The pool did not open when they said it was going to and the gym “opened” 5 DAYS before we moved out. We lived there for 14 months!!They said there would have built-in grills for the tenants to use, well that was a lie. They have two tiny grills that barely work and always run out of propane. When we moved in they said we could rent out the community room or the movie theatre, well when I went to rent out the community room they said they are no longer doing that. Same thing with the movie theatre room. These “amenities” are only open when the office is open. WOW. Aren’t most people at work during their office hours then want to use the amenities when they get back to their home????I cannot even put into words how many issues I had inside of my unit while living there. I will just rattle of a few....the washer they chose to put in the apartments is cheap and will not fill with water (they were unwilling to fix as they said this is how they are), they make you provide your own screen for the patio, the insulation will have your heat bill well over $200, there is a sewer gas smell coming from the sink as they do not have proper P-traps (which you have to pour water down a drain every other week to keep that smell away according to Jordan, the manger), the cabinets are cheap, the shower doors come loose from the hinge so they will not allow you to swing them open (we had the maintenance man “fix” this 6 times within 5 months before giving up), there is more but at this point I would think you get the point.PLEASE think twice about moving into these “luxury” apartment. This place has caused me so much stress and anxiety that I do not have ONE good word to say about the property, the management or the unit itself. Not one.

We have lived in the Luxembourg for nearly 3-months now and I have no complaints. Yes, the clubhouse is not open yet...but will be open any day now (we were told end of summer was the goal, and that has been accurate). And in the meantime, we have a membership to Lifetime (one block away). Outdoor pool, grills, and bocce ball court have been open all summer. The people in the office are very nice and helpful. It is not as loud as the other reviews had said - I have lived in condos, townhomes and apartments throughout my life and this is the 2nd most soundproof place I have been. Parking is easy and convenient. Cannot speak about the community/party room not being available outside of office hours - have not needed to rent it yet (would be a bummer if thats the case). Only reason for 4 stars is because the unit we are in was not in perfect shape when we moved in - a lot of the cabinets were chipped and splintered, some of the tiles were cracked, and our granite is a bit grainy...that comes with the territory though when you rent. Regardless, they told us to put in a work order if there was anything we wanted fixed so they are very willing to accommodate. Overall, we have had a positive experience.

DISCRIMINATION!!Believe in the one or two star reviews! I wish there were a 0 star option!First, you can not have family members from another state come to visit, especially if they smoke...I never knew of or read this smoke free policy:/ My mother, whom I havent seen in over a year, came to visit me and my brother (who has a 2yr old) just a few weeks ago and she does smoke, she spends time divided between us. Well, the third floor neighbor said to her can you not smoke, we have a baby..mind you Im on the first floor..mom said close your outside door or window. These simple, idiots complained of smoke! Can you believe the manager, Jordan, called me, told me to ask my mom to try not to smoke as much, and actually received the profanity ment for the third floor idiots. Heres the best part...Jordan said We can file document that there is an UNAUTHORIZED PERSON living with you ...wait what!? Youre accusing me of breaking policy? She doesnt live here, soooo....apparently I cant have family/smoker visit me?? I believe there is serious discrimination going on here. Instead of Jordan handling the situation more tactfully, he simply tried to turn the page and said (literally) I have an UNAUTHORIZED PERSON in my ONE bedroom apartment. Second, if I had a baby, Id want to keep things from the outside from coming in by KEEPING WINDOWS AND DOORS CLOSED...simple enough! Third, when I complained that tenants were throwing food and trash down from the second or third floor, Jennifer(whom I adore) said she spoke to them, it stopped for a few days, but they still throw food out and it lands on my patio..i will not put furniture out there....no need to complain anymore, so i have to deal with it. Please believe these low stars, this is not a good place. Never will I recommend. Stan E Williams said it best, he lives here too. This post is more a vent about poor management. Jennifer is my go to. Shes always made me feel like I live here too!

I dont get what all the hate is on this place. Ive lived here for months and havent had a problem. Yes, the place in under construction. Yes, it is on the more expensive side (no more expensive than the Genesee or The Covington); but, you knew this when you signed the leasing papers. The apartments themselves are really really nice. Ill say that you do get what you pay for. The only reason this is a 4 star is because the amenities arent done yet. When they are I will move this review to 5 stars.

Here are some thoughts that might be helpful to consider when youre about to pay $1500+/month to live here.Youll find yourself lucky because it is:-Covered parking with conditioning for cold weather-Modern design, fancy look and high ceiling-Nearby 494, American blvd, Joes Senser, Dennys, and other upper scale groceries and shopping places-Nearby a park with a lake-Nearby hotels so your family can visit and stay near you if needed-Mostly quiet area-Pool, gym and tennis course probably will be ready to use next summer-Mostly middle class and young people live hereTough lucks when:-Uber/Lyft get lost and could not find you (too new)-Trash shoot/mail room/parking are on one side of the building. Its an U shape building. If you live on the other end, youll have a long way to go (Imagining the day you have a lot of groceries...)-Shared carts are always missing because tenants hide them in their apartments. Multiple suggestions have been made to the management and no helpful resolutions were made. Management doesnt charge or fine people for doing so, or neither try to track the carts. They claimed to buy more carts, but its like feeding more cookies to mice. (Cookies will continue to disappear!) So be prepared to have strong arms, legs, buy less groceries each time or get your own foldable cart.-False fire alarm went off accidentally, many times. If it will be a real fire in the future, youll think lightly and less seriously ...-No mesh, or screen on the balcony doors. If you cooked strong smell foods or want some air into your living room on a summer day, bugs and mosquitoes will be your guests. (Only screen windows in bedroom)

Its unfortunate I have to even give them one star. The company that owns this building is called Richdale Group they have 1.4 stars on google out of 76 reviews. I have never seen a company that low before. That should be a clear warning sign!!! Do your research before moving here. They have been building the property for about 5 or 6 years. The US bank stadium took 3 years.... wish i would have looked into it before moving here. :(I have been living her for about 7 months now. Everything started off great with this place. We got a great deal for signing a 18 month lease. At first glance everything looked very well put together. However just after a few days of living here I started to notice things. Like horrible paint jobs around the house. Very low quality cabinets and drawers in the kitchen and bathrooms. Also both of our showers leak all over the place. I have called maintenance about these issues, and they do come very fast. They say the work is done and everything is fixed, but the showers just start leaking again right after they leave. Also all winter long one side of our apartment was ice cold ( my bed room and bathroom of course lol). I called the office and once again maintenance came quick and said they found no issues, but we will seal the windows again. This did nothing to fix the problem. Im almost positive there is little to no insulation in the walls. So i dont know who they employee for maintenance but they do not know what they are doing. This is among the more just annoying issues. However Jennifer in the office is either a liar or maybe was just mislead by upper management, because before signing any lease terms me and my roommate made sure to get clarification on what was the latest time frame for the pool and gym to be completed. Jennifer gave us conformation that early spring was the latest. Today is the first day of summer and they are no where near done with any amenities ( apparently the movie room is almost complete but that is honestly the last thing i want to be doing in the middle of summer). They are currently waiving a messily $42 a month fee. That they are trying to claim covers the amenities the facility will have. Which is clearly untrue. Also they are giving current residents the opportunity to pay the $42 a month and they will cover a lifetime membership to the location across the street for you. Now that might sound amazing, but this lifetime across the street must be the first location to ever open. It is extremely small. There is nothing but a few thing to workout with( you can either lift or run on a treadmill) there is no pool, no basketball court, literally nothing a normal lifetime has to offer. Long story short i regret everyday moving into this place and i just hope and pray that they finish building these things by next summer cause that is how long Im stuck here until. Please dont waste your time with this place. They will dangle a sweet move in special just to trap you with all the false promises. I strongly encourage you to find a very similar property for around the same price point that is higher quality and has the amenities already.

The apartment is very nice. living here for more than a year. also the stuff are great and always providing great service. The reason why I put a 1 star review is for the same reason as other here.more then a year ago when I signed up (2016) I was told that the construction is a matter of a few months. probably around december/January was told.Today we are in the middle of October(2017), more then a year has past and still it doesnt look like we are about to enjoy any of the amenities on the apartments. (which is one of the reasons we signed in)We feel like we were mislead and if knew that before we will never sign the contract!no compensation was offered from reachdale group and after a year of patience from our side we were told that nothing can be done about it.Very disappointingbesides this I do like the staff here- Jennifer is awesome and the apartment is great. I wish that Richdale group will take responsibility instead of hiding behind the contract. witch we all know that will protect them.**2018 finished lease they charged $420 to change stove top glass witch had normal white markes on it, the same marks that u can clean!thats after 2 years of lease there.never got charged so much for something so tiny.very disappointing will not recommend.

We moved in at the end of October, 2016. The building was under construction so we were unable to look around, that wasnt too alarming, we were told it was for safety reasons. We were shown pictures of the projected fitness center and pool designs and were told it would all be finished January 1st of 2017- so we signed our year lease. It is currently September 2017 and so far just the concrete path in the courtyard has been poured. NO pool, NO gym, NO grass, NO dog run, NO community room, still have to pay for amenities so they let you have a free membership at lifetime down the block. Mickey Mouse craftsmanship inside unit, management has POOR response time and stops in to your unit unannounced and leaves without notifying you that they were even inside YOUR HOME. Hands down the most disappointing, infuriating and embarrassing place I have ever paid 1,400 to live in. Moved in for the pools and ended up with a dirt pile and empty promises. Looks to me like this place ran out of money and cant finish what they started. I have dozens of pictures to prove it. Stop in to see for yourself, just dont be fooled by the lies.

2 weeks awaiting for a decline decision base on breaking a previous lease to move from Denver. The break up fees were paid on time. I applied to another upscale apartments in Eagan and we get approved within an hour. This is not an equal/fair housing. Check the reviews for the management company, not even 2 stars.Update: Management called me to review this post, after I explained my frustration Joe asked me remove this post. SMH!

I didnt think i needed to comment, but maybe I will now. First, the amenities included in the rent..trash, water, etc...I thought were supposed to be paid by the complex (via my rent). Well, Ive gotten two bills (Nov and Dec) from NWP so far for these services. The first one I paid, but awaiting to hear of the second, as far as being late or whatever. Well, Luxembourg still charged me for these services..(which Im not suppose to get a separate bill....right???) No one said, here is a refund for the Nov 1 charge that you paid online... $16.79. Ill wait. Though I had Oct and Nov free rent, but still...Ill wait. Plus it looked like i had a balance brought forward for trash.. $10.00???? What!? Please explain...again Ill wait.Second, James Webber stated correctly about the frigid cold air coming in and heat staying on butchering the utility bill. I placed a really long rug in front of the patio doors to block some air...still comes in and also come in through bedroom windows. Its cold! Especially these floors. Insulation isnt key in the North??And lastly, during the application process; I was told I could not hear walking above my apartment. ..umm, not true!; the gym was to be done in late November 2016. ..its now January 2017; (its so much of an inconvenience to check mail and empty trash with the lengthy construction). We were given no updates, closure of areas, detours to take....nothing! A new tenant asked me how to get to the garbage dump..really Luxembourg?? Do we (the tenants) not pay enough to live here? Should we not be comfortable? Ill wait. I am not recommending this complex to anyone, and will be leaving as soon as my lease is up. Only gave two stars because of perfectly convenient metro route.P.S. I wasnt informed what the security system next to the door is for...I didnt get a code, password nor set up instructions. I hope this facility improves for future tenants.

I would not recommend Luxembourg to anyone. I applied, put a deposit down, and was scheduled to move in on December 15th. I called mid November to check the status, and the management said they were on schedule for the December 15th move in. I moved out of my current place, rented a storage unit, and got a call on November 28th saying I wouldnt be able to move in until January. Now Im left without a place to live and cant find anything since 90% of surrounding apartments are leased. I should have read the other reviews about this place.RESPONSE TO MANAGEMENT: I picked an apartment closer to the trash room, as there was only 1 in the entire building. They wanted to put me near the main parking lot, a unit somebody just moved out of because they probably hated it.

I give this a one star only because the kitchen is beautiful and ceilings are high. However, when I was looking for a place to rent and live I signed a contact saying that I was paying so much for all these amenities and heated in door parking garage as well free first month rent. I was then advised after a few days I had not paid my rent. I contacted the property manager whose receptionist had given me first months rent free. Who then argued with me for the remainder of the month on how it was a misunderstanding and I will have to pay. I informed him that when signing the contact for renting the place I will not be paying for first months rent as agreed. Finally the property manager decided that they would give this to me as a one time courtesy. Two months into living in this beautiful place my shower door broke and was not fixed quick enough. As well, when signing the contract they had advised me that since the amenities where unavailable they were charging me $40 extra a month for a lifetime fitness contact. I agreed this was good deal. However, now living here for 6 months they are changing the agreement with our lifetime contract. In which we will have to pay more even though amenities are included in our rent agreement. I understand that this is a new place but I should not have to be hearing work being done on the roof from 6am to 2am . Yes, I said 2am. On top of all of these great extras the Heated garage That I pay extra for is never heated, they just have a large vent that blows air into the garage. To add to that when it rains or snows the garage roof and walls will rain themselves. As well, you will be the luckiest person to find parking in this garage even if its at the very end of the garage, If you do find a spot at the end of the garage, not all doors in to or out of the building work.As well, watch out for sitters in the garage. These are people who park their car in the garage but they never and I mean never move it. The Luxembourg is supposed to have rules about this but tell that to the car owner with the car cover on their car thats been sitting in the garage for atleast 6 or 7 months. Last thing I care enough to say is watch your bill it will change from time to time and since this place is not sealed very well your electric cost can possibly go up. I pay about $100 a month which isnt bad, but for a place this small shouldnt cost nearly this much. If you are looking to live here make sure your cross your ts and dot your is and confirm that you are getting everything you pay for. I can not wait to move out after winter.

Very disappointing experience here so far. I really wish I had reviewed the holding company well before picking this place. They strung us along for almost 3 weeks when prepping our lease. Then they wouldnt release the lease because we hadnt sent them renters insurance information Which we did. I asked the company if I needed to list them on the renters insurance and they said no- then later yes, so I got all that squared away. I emailed the building managers as well as the corporate center information. It seemed all good right? Nope. When we got here from out of state, our lease was all messed up. All the things we had agreed on had to be added in pen! Even the lease term was incorrect. So what were the so called lease writers doing for 3 weeks? Then about two months after we moved in, we got a threatening letter about our renters insurance not being on file! What da heck?!(We did a facetime tour of this place otherwise we would never have picked it). Then after we moved in, we learned that there is only one trash room on each floor, which means walking your trash through really long hallways. Then we learned that there is no assigned parking which means if you get home anytime past 4 you are stuck at the end of a steep ramp- in your own building! The building is supposed to be secure- yet 50% of the time I get home, the garage doors are wide open. The entrance to each floor has fob access, yet there is a side door that one can wander through? The units look cute on paper and in pictures, but in person they are very cold and impractical. With light switches in completely inconvenient places. I have never given a negative review for any where I live, but now I am just counting down the months to leave. So much disappointment for the most expensive place I have ever rented. Also another weird thing about this property is they allow you to pay the rent online ($$$$) but then you have to write a check to pay for the water and sewage ($). Super weird system, but they add on the trash there too, so you have to be careful to remember where you paid the trash- was it with your rent or was it with the sewage because you could double pay, and with my experience with these people, they may just pocket your money. I really hope that when our term is up and we are leaving, we have a hassle free experience although I am very doubtful.ADDENDUMSo after I wrote this post, I got a phone call from their Headquaters. Luckily for him, he didnt try to get me to take down my review- he just wanted me to know that I could pay my sewage and water bills with the trash added to my online monthly rent payment- I will look into this but I am skeptical because I already asked the office and was told I couldnt do that, also the sewage bill says- write a check. I usually pay my rent a little early and this comes in the middle of the month so well see.The individual who called me proceeded to argue with me on the security of the fobs but I see he believed me and that has been fixed.Other things I forgot:- Garage is not heated!- Looks like they dont take out trash for weeks in the one trash room in the whole building- almost always overflowing-We pay a little extra a month for our view which is over a hotel parking lot. Makes ,e wonder what others are looking at- a brick wall? Or trash?- The pathway to the garage is never shoveled on time and as such, it is packed up and icy- Never ever live next to a hotel! I had no idea it was next door to several hotels. Almost once a week some one screws up and you hear their car alarms for a really long time- usually when you are trying to sleep too!- The office misrepresented information to me recently about why certain packages werent delivered where I thought they should be- -they were like the city of Bloomington rules... rubbish! The postal service follow Federal mandates (yes I called the post offices manager). There are other things going on, but rather than tell me the truth they chose to come up with something that makes them look good and blames others.

Scheduled a 9:00 am tour and was left waiting for over an hour. Called the office to see if something came up but didnt get any response. When the office staff finally arrived they told me their hours didnt start until 10:00am, so I checked my voicemail confirmation and my showing was confirmed for 9:00am. Unprofessional from the start, I chose another location to rent with.
