Hands down the best manicure I have ever had. I drive 1.5 hours every few weeks just to go to Kim because she is so good at what she does. She is also so sweet and fun to chat with while she works and I am not even a chatty person! Throughout the process she is always double checking to make sure she is doing my nails just how I had in mind. I would recommend this business to everyone and anyone looking for a quality nail job.

Kim was so wonderful. I went in with a pic of what I thought I wanted. However, she was honest about her capabilities. She took the time to explain step by step what she was doing. Asked if I was okay and if I liked how my nails looked each step along the way. Kim also showed me multiple colors on my nails so that I could pick the right one. She worked very hard and ensured that I got what I wanted! I am very happy with how my nails turned out. Kim made me want to get my nails done again and again. As I previously have went to other nail salons and ended up hating how they turned out. I will definitely return to Kim Nails & Spa! :D

Best nail experience I’ve ever had! I got acrylics during ring dance week and Kim was amazingly accomodating. My nails turned out incredible! The best part was that she stops after every step and makes sure that you like how they look, which most other people won’t do!

Probably the best pedicure Ive had in years! She worked hard to try and smooth my rough heels, and spent much more time and effort on that than I expected! Because she is so thorough, I usually end up spending more time here than at your average nail salon, so be aware of that if you are in a hurry. Overall I recommend highly.

Kim is a super sweet lady who takes her time doing your nails in order to make sure youre happy. With my first acrylic set, she consistently asked questions and made sure I was happy with how my nails looked before she moved onto a different step in the process. This was my first time. I had a manicure and pedicure. She works alone but gives you personal service! She made suggestions and gave advice on care. She took her time to give great service, so expect it to take a while. I was there for just over two hours.

Kim is the best!! We decided last minute on Sunday to do my engagement pictures on Monday, I called Kim late Sunday afternoon since she was the only place open on Sunday in Blacksburg to see if I could come after work, she was completely booked Sunday and Monday, but realizing how desperate I was she offered to open up at 7:30am, 1.5 hours earlier than normal to fit me in! She was so nice to talk to and did such an incredible job on my toes, fingernails and eyebrows. I am so grateful she was willing to come in early on a Monday morning for me. I work outside and my nails are still holding up and looking great! Will be back for sure and I look forward to booking with her for our wedding.

Absolutely love this place! So sad I didnt find it before graduating. She takes the time to get to know you and make sure you are getting exactly what you want. I got a gel manicure. She ensured that I liked the color on my nail before finishing the manicure, also taking time to ask how I liked my nails shaped. Several times she thought she hurt me (she didnt) but asked me to make sure I was okay! Very nice lady, and absolutely impressed that she runs the shop on her own. The shop is very clean and sanitary, does not smell like acetone like in other nail salons. Definitely would recommend this place!

I usually do not write reviews but I felt like I owed it to Kim to write a positive one after my experience with her. I booked an appointment for my girlfriend and I a week in advance and I ended up running 10 min late the day of the appointment (I called to tell her) and she said no problem! When we got there, Kim treated us very kindly and was so funny. She works by herself and is such a hard worker. She treated my girlfriend and I with great respect and was clean very thorough when doing both of our nails. It was an amazing experience and I would recommend Kim 10/10 times to anyone that is looking for a respectable, clean, and friendly place in Blacksburg to get their nails done.

Kim is amazing!! She and her husband own the salon and she is the only one that works there. She somehow manages to get everyone in and does an amazing job. Went to Kim’s on Sunday to get a fill for my acrylic set. 5 days later the gel polish she put on my nails peeled off and my acrylics were cracking. This is one of the worst nail jobs I’ve ever gotten and I will not be returning.

I got MERCA!I went to Kim´s Salon to get my arm pits waxed during the summer of 2015. A day after small bumps began appearing on my underarms. I had an internship the next day so I didn´t have time to get them checked out which was a big mistake! My internship was in the SW where the closest hospital was 2 hours away. Eventually the bumps got so big and painful I had to drive to the hospital where the told me I had merca. This is something that will stay with me for the REST OF MY LIFE. It will not go away, the bacteria will live in my body forever and it could have KILLED me if left unchecked.Even after this experience the merca I got from Kim´s Salon came back 2-3 times. The last time only being only a few months ago.I know I should have wrote this review sooner but now is better then never. For future customers I would suggest to NOT do any waxing at all here. If you do there is a chance you will get MERCA! Kim is a nice woman but not worth going to the hospital multiple times within the past year.
