Great place for a haircut. The ladies are friendly and not intimidating. We actually drive past a few other places to go here. Worth the drive and the price.

Becca is awesome and gave me an amazing haircut and eyebrow wax. However, the overall experience was less than satisfactory due to the terrible music selection the studio was playing. If I come to a barber shop designed for men I expect better music than the Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and Jesse McCartney. Please fix ASAP before my next appointment. In conclusion Becca 5/5, atmosphere 1/5.

This lady Jane’s out of all seven locations I have visited, The lady Jane’s headquarter office in Birmingham is by far the most spectacular haircut salon lobby I have seen! Spoke to Rachel regarding business and was very friendly and overall a great experience!

I had a stellar visit to Lady Janes Haircuts for Men, today. My stylist Nicole was an awesome stylist who knew exactly what to do with her scissors and shaver! My neck is clean shaven and the scalp massage and hot towel treatment are extra but worth it! Nicole gave me exactly what I wanted and even was friendly during in cut conversation! I wish I could give her more stars cause the review doesn’t do her enough justice. I would definitely recommend Lady Janes and also Recommend getting an appointment so you don’t have to wait.

If I could rate this 6 stars I would. One thing I always wanted was a place that will actually take their time and show some care when cutting my hair. Thats exactly what Lady Janes does. I have always had Riley and she does a fantastic job every time. Plus that shampoo and scalp massage is heaven. Lady Janes is an incredible value (only $25 for a mens haircut) and the quality could not possibly be better.

Saw Alyssa today for the first haircut in months because of the quarantine. Appointment was right on time, and Alyssa was great. Love my haircut and feel so much better. All employees were in masks as were clients. Staff was cleaning regularly while I was there. Felt very good about the appointment and recommend this location for sure.

Channel is the best. She works flexible hours which make it easy to schedule. She has even offered to come in on her days off if that’s what would work for me. I like the way she cuts my hair. It is always perfect. I enjoy our conversations and wouldn’t go to anyone else. She is a true professional.

$25 for a hair cut in an Environment like that way underpriced. I don’t know how they are able to pay that overpriced B-ham rent. Hopefully they stay around for a while. I like getting a coffee from roast if I have to wait.

Great experience and happy with my fresh cut. My friend recommended I come here, and to have Jasmine cut my hair. She wasnt working when I went, but Nicole kept me in good hands. Would highly recommend you have them wash your hair. You also will have a head massage and you feel incredible and refreshed after. The atmosphere is nice too, has many TVs with sports and news on all over. A bit pricey compared to what Im used to, but will go back for sure.

I went in there and the person who cut my hair asked me how long I wanted it but cut at least triple the length she said, she didn’t really care about what I asked her about. You definitely don’t want to have the lady I had of you are a teen looking to keep your hair longer.

Came to visit a friend and we decided to go get haircuts. He told me we need to go to check out Lady Jane. We walked in and the place is very clean and modern looking. The Wonderful Jasmine gave me an awesome new and fresh hairstyle and trimmed and shaped my beard with great detail. After I felt like I owned 12 Porsche 911s! The next time I come to visit I will most definitely be visiting Jasmine to style my hair!

So I am pretty picky about my haircut. I like my fade a certain way. Jasmine has accomplished this way beyond my expectations. She knows more than just how to cut hair, but the science behind hair. She is able to make great recommendations for your hair and the products you use in it. Since I can remember I have been getting my own haircut, I have only had 2 other stylists, that have since moved on from hair, that I used on a regular basis. It all started when a friend came to visit me from DC. He is as meticulous as I am, conditioned to exceptional work and service. I was hesitant to make a suggestion when he asked me to take him to a barber, as I am new to Michigan and haven’t decided on “my barber” just yet.I always knew of this place Lady Jane’s and that it is everywhere. It turns out that the Birmingham location is its HQ. It’s very clean, its very relaxing, connected to a very tasty café, and there are TVs everywhere you turn for your entertainment.Typically you can request a specific barber which is nice, but instead to be as quick as possible we went with anyone available. As it turned out, we both were pleasantly surprised with our barbers. I had an excellent barber, Jamie, she not only was skilled with clippers, but was an outstanding conversationalist. I had such a great time joking around it turns out Jamie is hilarious, we laughed so hard that we had to stop to take a breath several times!All in all, the experience was stupendous, my friend and I left looking great with big smiles on our faces. I would highly recommend this location and Jamie!

There are many different stylists who are equally talented and skilled but my go to stylist is Allie. While she expertly prepares and selects the best styles for her clients, she does the same with her conversations. She’s top-notch! If your looking for a lasting relationship and one that provides benefits over and over in the way of new styles and cuts, do yourself a favor and seek out Allie. I initially thought this place was going to be something different (like a strip club) until I saw the pictures on Google. It is nothing like that. It is a like a sports bar, with TVs everywhere, where you can get a haircut. I was surprised to see there was even a TV in the stand in front of where I was sitting during my hair cut, which was portioned so I could see it even with my head angled down. Brilliant. I paid for the Scalp message and the hair wash, WELL worth the extra money. I was completely relaxed. Melissa was fantastic!

My Barber retired and for the last couple of years I went direct to the Owner of the shop. There comes a time when you have to cut the ties of loyalty when you are not satisfied as a customer. I tried Floyds on Woodward, but it just wasnt right. So I kept hearing the commercials on 97.1 The Ticket, plus Fox News on Sundays before the Lion games so decided to google some reviews. I saw that Jasmine had a ton of great reviews and the Barber shop looked great so I decided to drop in on a Saturday with no appointment. I got right in and ended up with Jasmine. Not only was it the best hear cut I had in years, but even though we had just went her personality made me feel right at ease and if I had been coming to her for years. I just made my second appointment with her this weekend for my Christmas cut. Thank you Lady Janes and thank you Jasmine.

The best! My work schedule is crazy, and I live more than an hour from here but I make my schedule work to come here. Ive had a few different stylists and everyone has done a great job, but Jasmine is my favorite .She takes her time and makes sure everything is perfect before anyone in her chair walks out the door .

I went here on a recommendation by 95.5. Go see Alina... she is very knowledgeable and did not disappoint. My cut is perfect and she did the grey blending perfectly. Get the Kings treatment (scalp and neck massage) with the peppermint conditioner. They have excellent customer service and the ambiance is top notch. This is a proper salon.They have free one hour parking on the Woodward side of the building. They also have a coffee shop, Birmingham Roast, attached to this facility with great coffee (try the kuppa joy or golden joy).Thanks, Alina! Ill definitely be coming back to this location.

Lady Janes is an excellent place to get your hair cut for whatever style you are looking for. I personally go out of my way to travel a few extra minutes to get my hair cut there. Melissa Martin is my stylist not only do to her excellent stylist skills but because of her great personality. She makes my haircut more of an entertainment than a chore on my to do list. I would not choose any other place in the area that I live.
