I had an absolutely amazing experience at Baus! I thought it was time to change things up and I am not dissapointed. All of the stylists seem very nice and talkative, my stylist Amanda was very happy and cheerful and was very flexible when I explained that I wanted to try something new and different. For 35 dollars getting a full hour haircut, shampoo and conditioner, and a hot towel shave! Definitely coming back, thanks Amanda for the wonderful haircut and experience!

Theyre just going to do what is already there and make it shorter. Waste of money. Bad beard trim. Bad cut. Good thing hair grows back. Now I just gotta wait a few months to fix what they did terribly wrong.

It’s clean, modern and above all is a warm and friendly place to disconnect from the world and stress of life and then leave feeling like a new person.During the start of Covid I have never seen a business take matters more seriously then Baus. From their mask and check in policy to their sanitation protocols. As a physician I couldn’t feel more at ease about coming in especially during the chaos of the pandemic looming.I could go on for a few more paragraphs about how much I love this place and how much I enjoy my time there. Fantastic barbershop, stress detox and invaluable chair therapy.

Where do I even begin? For years I thought my barber I was going to was amazing, I was referred by a friend that has been going to Baus for a while and I decided to give them a shot since he wouldn’t stop bragging about the services there. I ended up booking an appointment and the moment I walked in I already felt that I’m at a real barbershop. The staff was supper friendly I was greeted right away and the place was spotless. I sat down to get my haircut and I usually do the same thing I’ve been doing for years but this time I asked what should I do and I was suggested a certain look and I said why not give it a try. As I was getting my haircut it wasn’t awkward at all since it’s my first time meeting I was engaged in conversation as if I been going there for years! When finished I was styled with products in my hair and cleaned up with out any leftover hair on my face. Btw the shampooing was amazing you get the best scalp massage! My haircut has never ever been the same since, I’m so happy I have a place now I can depend on for my haircuts. I usually never go on putting reviews but this time around I had too. This place is amazing I recommend it to everyone I know!

I followed my preferred hairstylist here from her last barber shop. This one has very friendly staff and its nice inside. My only problem was that the music they play is painfully bad. Like a 90s night club. Maybe I was just there on a bad radio station day haha! Regardless, Ally is fantastic and worth the visit always.

The haircuts and great at Baus. However, it is evident that Daniella and her staff don’t take COVID-19 restrictions seriously. They are often not wearing their masks, fail to adhere to the health division policy requiring all customers to wear masks for the entirety of their service. They’re being incredibly reckless and it pains me to say, but there’s no way I’m returning to Baus. A great fade isn’t worth potentially contracting the virus and killing my family.

This place is awesome. Quite pricey, but for the amount of care and detail that the barber puts makes up for it. I came in not knowing what type of hairstyle to do with long hair, but Rachel worked with me to figure it out. She didnt cut my hair until we both were sure, and that took like 15-20 minutes. Just for this simple act, the customer service is a 10/5 (most of my past barbers would be in a rush to service others). And the quality of the cut was really good, and I was very satisfied with the end result :)Definitely one of my longest haircuts, but that may be due the early confusion of what I wanted. I would have to make sure my schedule is clear next time around.

Walked in during my scheduled appointment, and had my barber take me straight to my seat after introducing herself. The place is clean and comfy. My barber took her time and was careful with how she treated my hair since its long. All in all, great experience. Would reccomend. 10/10

Mason is as good a human as his is a barber. I have pretty high anxiety, yet I’m fine with his straight razor around my throat. He is kind and sweet and always ready for my appointment time. I used to live near Baus, but now I drive an hour every 3 weeks. Totally worth it. I’d honestly drive from a different state. It’s like finding a great tattoo artist. Once you find one, you will always go back. Highly recommend this place.

This is Metro Detroit’s premier place for men’s grooming needs. The staff there is professional, practical, and does anything to make the client feel comfortable. I’m impressed by Baus’ ability to set trends instead of follow them. Their owner seeks opportunities to better herself and enhance her skills and the store benefits because of it. So excited they expanded closer to home, although the distance never stopped me from going to Baus.

I dont trust many people with my hair and since getting my hair cut by Bizzy I have been extremely impressed by her abilities. I trust her with my hair and honestly dont think anyone has cut my hair as well as she does. I would recommend Baus to anyone but I would specifically recommend Bizzy if they really want to get some dope haircuts and feel like a bazillion $$$$$. The new spot in Rochester also has an awesome East Coast vibe.

In the past few months I started growing a beard, but had no luck at maintaining it. I was recommended this place by a barber I know and I have had nothing but amazing service here. I recommend a hot shave, and beard lineup with trim, which when it is all said and done feels like you were totally pampered. If I go out of town I will wait extra weeks just to have my preferred barber perform the services with the quality and care I have come to enjoy at Baus. Additionally they have an app that makes making appointments a breeze and shows they have taken time to get their service right.

I have really long hair and I went just for a trim and they cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. Im really picky about my hairdresser but this place is a 10 out of 10, would go again. When I decided to make the big decision to look for a new barbershop, I did a ton of research. I was looking for a place that had a good reputation from customers with beards, and did I ever find the right place. I made the leap and booked my first appointment with Tony, he was knowledgeable and took the time to ask questions about what I was looking for in both my haircut and beard shaping. I was coming to him in hopes that he could repair what my long time barber had screwed up, he did that and more. While the cost is a little more than what you will find at some of your local shops, it is well worth it. The vibe of the shop while a bit hipster, is overall a very cool vibe. The staff is very friendly and from what Ive seen, all the barbers are very good at what they do. If you are looking for that barbershop that goes the extra mile and gives you that old school vibe, this is definitely the place to go.

Consistently great haircuts. So far, I have been seen Tori for many times, and Daniella once. Both have me a great haircut that also grows nicely. The place is clean and not loud. Its on a small plaza and parking may be tricky. The app is easy to use to book your appointments.

Absolutely phenomenal.If you want to go to a Barbershop that is exactly that...a Barbershop....look no further and accept no substitutions.I was seen by Mason on Wednesday 18 Jan 17. He took the time to look and feel my hair/head to get the knowledge needed to properly cut my hair. I have a round head shape coupled with very thick, dense, and curly hair. For those with this issue you know it can lead to disaster...but Mason got it entirely right.This is the place to go, no questions asked. And for me, Mason is the man.

When I moved to Michigan from California in 2015, I was in search of my new go-to barbershop. Baus was the first place I checked out and Ive been using them ever since! The atmosphere is great as the staff will always greet you once you walk in. I recommend to schedule an appointment because the word has spread about how good they are. Great for beard trims!

Im a business owner myself and would never have anyone with such a poor attitude working for me.Update: after reading the owners reply, Im even more happy we didnt spend a penny at this place. (Btw you cant charge anyone for missing an appointment without signed documentation and approval of charges for missed appointments). Anyhow, I said both of my sons names when I called, she cut me off and said they were booked under the same name then proceeded to argue with me that she was right. Even though I made both boys different accounts so I knew YOUR booking application was the issue.Again, she needs customer service training and I would never have someone so inept answering the phones.

New location is prime. I’ve been getting my haircut by Brittney C for about 6 years now and she has never once made even the slightest mistake. She makes me look like a movie star when in reality, I’m Shrek.
