I went to Brown Automotive for a diagnostic test on my battery because it wouldnt stay charged. They were able to find what was going on, corrected it and I recd an oil change all within 45 mins. Very professional front desk gentleman too. Ill definitely return for more business!

As a first time customer, I scheduled an oil change, tire rotation and balancing about a week out with a mid morning arrival time. I arrived a few minutes early and they were able to accommodate me immediately. Work was done in a professional and timely manner and only took about an hour. The shop provided great coffee cups, cookies, snacks and a very comfortable seating area. When the work was completed, the staff backed my vehicle into a parking space allowing me to easily drive away without having to back around other parked vehicles; sometimes its the little things that matter. Great service and I will continue to come back.

My dad had unexpected car trouble. Brown Automotive was very patient with him and was willing to walk him through the process of what needed to happen. They were understanding and did a great job of fixing my dads truck at a reasonable price. My dad called around for estimates from other places and Brown Automotive was the clear winner. They finished the truck when they said they would finish it. They called and updated my dad every step of the way. When we arrived to pick up the truck, they had an angle that away to where all my dad had to do is get in the truck drive and go on his way. I really appreciate the service and the care that was given to my dad into his truck, thank you.

I have used their services twice now and plan to continue to do so. Professional staff and services, reasonable prices, and they follow-up after a day or two to make sure everything is running well. Their representative is very responsive if there is an issue and I was contacted within five minutes to discuss my issue when I responded to their follow-up with a problem.

Fast, Friendly, and affordable. Dont look past this hidden jem in Trussville. They did everything they said and more. They also drove me home while my car was with them. They also found a wrench from another service shop that had been left and had been causing a rattle. My new mechanic for sure!

By noon I knew what it needed, i was called and also received the work needed by text with my options to complete work or decline w prices as well. Straightforward and clear communication which i appreciate. Completed work before end of next day and satisfied with my entire experience w Brown Automotive. Brian did a fantastic job on my wife’s car. I scheduled an appointment to drop her car off for new tires and an oil change at 3:00 pm on Friday. He recommended 2-3 brands and types of tires for her car and ordered then for us so that we would not have to transport them.I received a call 2 hours later that everything was ready. Brian brown is a diesel guru master mind they also have a technician that does automotive electrical diagnostic on any car and any repair on newer gdi vehicles he has a technician that is 100% senior elite master certified in Kia Hyundai from the dealership so why pay the high price of the dealership when they can service all you needs with a factory trained tech they can handle anything small or major

Excellent work. I had taken my car to a few shops to get prices on repairs and they offered the best prices I could find. The previous owner of my car had broken many bolts and cross-threaded them too. They fixed them no problem. It took the repairs a lot longer because of that but I appreciate the hard work you guys did and the phone call to let me know! They took their time, did the job right and its like driving a totally different car. They even told me my flywheel was done for and it was only a little more to replace. I will definitely go to them next time I need repairs!

My sons car needed the motor replaced. I called and asked for a quote and was given an amount that was lower than many of the other places I had checked. We had his car towed to Browns Automotive on October 18, 2017 and paid 1/2 of the amount up front so that the motor could be ordered. When Browns discovered that the clutch also needed to be replaced they promptly contacted me and gave me the amount to include this repair, which was a very fair price. On October 27, 2017 I received a message telling me my sons car was ready to be picked up! They mechanics at Browns replaced the motor and the clutch in 7 working days and they kept me informed the whole time!!! I waited a couple of weeks to post this review because I wanted to make sure all was well with the car. My son advises me everything is working great! I definitely recommend Browns Automotive and will be returning for any maintenance or repairs we need done!

Only because I cant give absolutely no stars. I called in to them because I try and give locally owned businesses a chance. I asked to have my clutch bled. I was quoted 60 to 70 bucks for the job. I only came here because I work and go to school fulltime and just didnt have the time. Well get to Browns automotive before even touching my car I was told I needed a new clutch, then it was oh no your fly well is bad, then it was your pressure plate lost some springs. I told them just to bleed the car. They tell me ok. I leave for maybe 10 mins they call me and tell me oh my car is a little bette . They tell me they bled it from the top of the car.... now my slave cylinder is under my car. The guy tells its a little better and so instead of paying inside to just put 50 bucks inside of a car on the lot to pay the tech! They tech did absolutely nothing! They was I left my car is the same way it was when I left my car. Never touched!I will never ever recommend this place to anyone on earth! They will misdiagnose and be very shady just to make a payday because they dont get much of any busines . Save your self the headache and gas and go to Christian brothers up the street!

I bought a Groupon coupon from this company for new brakes. They told me I needed new rotors too. I laughed since this was the first time my fairly new car was getting new brakes and there was NO vibration when braking. Brown Automotive told me they couldnt put the brakes on without new rotors. I told them they would have to refund me the Groupon coupon then. Brown Automotive wisely just gave me the brakes.***The owner mentions below that the coupon requires new rotors.
