BEST clinic Ive ever taken my dogs to. My 11 yr old dog recently had her back give out suddenly. We live in Cody, WY, and Dr. Brown was willing to take her in as soon as we could arrive. He has an incredibly gentle demeanor, instills confidence and thats just what I needed. The staff is beyond supportive, understanding and caring. What started out as the most horrific experience was made far more easier to cope with thanks to them. Tomorrow, a Saturday, he will be performing surgery on my little girl and I have such hope now. Thank you to all of you......I cant say enough thanks for your care and professionalism.

I recently switched to the Animal Clinic of Billings after receiving sub-par care at another Billings vet. The difference in the quality of care was like night and day. After one visit, I knew my pets and I were in great hands. Every single one of the staff members was so kind, caring, helpful, welcoming and very knowledgeable. It was obvious they care both about their patients and their owners. Care was amazing...I felt at home, like I had been bringing my pets there for years. The vet was so knowledgeable and took time to explain everything in detail.Labs were drawn and run right there in clic with results before I left my appointment so there was no back and forth phone tag to review the findings and plan for care.Overall, it was a great experience and I left trusting that I had come to the right place. I would recommend it to anyone who wants the best for their furry family member!

I have had several dogs in the past 35+ years and Dr. Ken Brown has been the vet for every one. I trust he and his staff 100% with my pets. Ken is the most caring and patient veterinarian I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and have care for my pets. I am very honored to call Dr. Ken Brown a friend as well as my pets veterinarian.

Dr Scott was very patient and caring with my little Shih Tzu. He explained everything with such care and attentiveness. His knowledge was superior and I highly recommend this clinic. As a new patient, we will return for all our doggie needs.

I cant say enough about the folks at the Animal Clinic of Billings. They are always very professional, courteous and understanding. We have had now 3 dogs and one cat that we have taken to their office and have been nothing short of impressed with their commitment to the welfare of all of our pets. They have always provided alternatives to what we thought were standard treatments and clearly explaining their reasoning for either doing or not doing a certain procedure; many times against their financial benefit. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a great vet clinic.

Dr. Brown is AMAZING. My dog Lacie got her ACL repaired at another vet in town. However, she was not healing correctly, so Dr. Brown removed it for her. He was so great about sitting down with me and walking me through everything and staying touch! The staff is so sweet, and they’re always excited to see my dog. They are very professional and personable. The atmosphere is so welcoming. I’ve been to three other veterinarians in town, but I 100% recommend Dr. Brown and his staff every time. If it wasn’t for them, my dog would be in so much pain, but now she’s running around again and she’s able to be a dog again. Thank you for treating Lacie like your own Animal Clinic of Billings!

We drove 6 hours from home to bring our pup to this clinic for a professional surgical procedure - Dr. Brown does a clean and exceptional job with ear cropping. (Cropping to reduce risks of ear infections and bleeding out if bit in the ear ) Mandy took the time to correspond with us on caring for our puppys ears and bandages in between follow up appointments. Each person (gals at the front desk included) here demonstrates their love for the animals that come through their doors- its an uneasy feeling when you have to leave your fur baby overnight with strangers but everyone here gave us a very comforted feeling that our baby was in great hands. We are more than satisfied with our overall experience with the Animal Clinic of Billings. Thank you!

We have gone to the Animal Clinic since the 1990s. I wouldnt consider going elsewhere because of the care our pets and family have received. We had an emergency yesterday with our black lab pup and were immediately brought in for the care that he needed. Dr. Massic was wonderful! Dr. Brown has been with us for our new pups and he has been there for us when we have lost our beloved furry family members. We are happy to see any of the doctors at the clinic when Dr.Brown is not available.

I had a terrible experience with another vet in town giving me incorrect information. I was in a panic and very flustered. But I am so glad I did my own research and found this animal clinic. The staff was so friendly and treated my girl so well! Dr.Brown is so knowledgeable and what I loved most is how willing he was to sit me down and go over all the ins and outs. The staff even let us take pictures and record them so me and my fiancé could communicate better with the procedure and the after care. I will probably never go to another vet again. I was so impressed.

The staff I worked with were absolutely FANTASTIC and relieved all of my feelings of foreboding of my little piece of work wiener dog that I love dearly would never be able to walk again! Dr. Brown was absolutely a superstar meeting me late on a cold Saturday night to take care of my little guy and perform surgery on a Sunday morning so he would be able to walk again. The rest of the staff was also great and I truly felt cared for my dachshund post surgery and taking the time to answer all my questions on how he was doing. Last thing I want to do a shout out to PT Laura for all the PT work she did with my little guy! 10 out of 10 recommend the Animal Clinic of Billings for their care and unique specializations on animal care.

Dr. Brown is amazing!! I couldn’t have felt more comfortable and at ease leaving my fur baby in his very capable hands. He eased my concerns and talked with me a good 10 minutes past my appointment to make me feel better about the operation. He did an amazing job on her and his staff kept me in the loop throughout the entire process! They’ve followed up twice since her surgery (6 days ago) to check in on her and I! I appreciate their attention to their patients and extreme care of personal circumstances. I couldn’t be more grateful to have found this vet service and will gladly be driving the 5 hour drive to see them again!

I had a beautiful am staff puppy given to me, I named him Po. When Po was given to me the breeder had cropped his ears and they werent symmetrical.called Dr. Brown with concerns and he heard me out and said we can fix it. Their was some confusion initially but the the Animal clinic of Billings had no problem accomadting Po. They fixed his ears up perfectly and professionally. I will never go anywhere else these guys are the best

We have been to a number of vets trying to find one capable of handling my working-line search and rescue German Shepherd (EXTREMELY intelligent and very high drive) and finally found Dr. Bobbi Jo Massic who came highly recommended by one of our training coaches. Incredible experience all around. The techs are amazing, know how to handle dogs and love them! Dr. Massic is the same- she obviously speaks dog language. Highly recommend for GSD or other high drive dog handlers.

Two of my little Dachshunds had to have IVDD surgery. The staff and Dr. Brown were fantastic with updates and letting us know exactly what was happening and how our little dogs were. One we just recently got home and the other had her surgery several months ago and is doing fantastic!!! Thank you!!

Dr. Brown was recommended to me by my local vets office for a TPLO surgery on my bird dog. At our first meeting he spent over an hour with me explaining my choices and answering all my questions. I developed a great deal of confidence in his ability. He did not disappoint. My dog has recovered nicely. Dr. Brown spent time discussing her condition with me following post-op appointments even calling me at home to discuss the results of X-rays taken and forwarded to him by my local vet. He has been very accommodating.

Dr. Brown could see I was nervous about my dogs health and he went above and beyond to calm my fears. I phoned in advance to discuss pricing and Angie was very helpful every step of the way. The entire staff is very kind and professional. Highly recommend.

I had probably the worst day of pet ownership in my life on Saturday, when my cat was hurt badly by a neighboring dog. My usual vet was out of town, and we showed up out of the blue with my mortally wounded cat. They could not have been kinder or more understanding. Despite the pandemic Dr. Brown gave my daughter and I hugs and did all she could to help us feel better as we said goodbye. Then this morning I got a delivery from Gainans of a rose and with condolences from Dr. Brown. It was another incredible gesture of kindness from a vet that very clearly does, truly, care. Thank you.

The staff is highly competent and they care for your pets. The billing department must have been trained by one of the hospitals. Make sure you know the exact cost before you agree to anything. They over charge for everything.

Dr. Brown is very personable and his staff including his assistant are very attentive and they worked very hard to solve an issue with our dog that other clinics had not.

They have been the best vet we have ever had. After leaving another veterinary clinic from low levels of service and support, we came to Animal Clinic of Billings on a friends recommendation. It has been great ever since. Both our labs are actually excited when they go there and the staff greets them by name. Our older lab had terrible hip problems that required ortho surgery on both - great success! She is back to acting like a puppy again. Couldnt be happier.

Unfortunately, we (my girlfriend and I) had to put down her cat of almost 14 years due to health reasons. Vet was very honest about diagnosis and available options. Vet and staff were very empathetic during the process. A few days later, we received a sympathy carnation for our loss. The entire staff are absolutely amazing. I had my boy Terry into see Dr. Brown on numerous occasions. The vet bills were substantially lower than other vets in the area when I had the work quoted. More importantly, I trust their staff to ensure my guy is being looked after.

I called to get a quote on a visit and the first time I called they ask if I can hold for a moment and I said sure and it ended up being 20+ minutes so I call back and they answer right away like I wasnt just on hold forever! I firmly believe they forgot about me and didnt even apologize. Listen up ladys of animal clinic of billings if you dont like your freaking job then go work somewhere else.

After being referred here by a friend, I made an appointment to get two puppies’ first shots and our mama dog up to date on hers. I was thinking it would cost around $50/dog at the most. NOPE! They charged me like $40 extra per dog for a “wellness check” which I never asked for, and all they did was weigh them, give them shots and dewormer and trim their nails. They weren’t even going to trim my mama dog’s nails, I had to ask her to. Overall it cost me about $230 and all I had made an appointment for was first shots for the pups and rabies for my mama dog.

We’ve received excellent care for our dogs and excellent customer service. This is a top-notch full service veterinary clinic.

Our beloved Standard Poodle very recently became extremely ill. We were faced with some hard decisions. The staff at this clinic were unbelievably compassionate and understanding and provided amazing care. Their care and concern went well beyond the visit. I cant see ever going anywhere else for animal care. Our family sincerely thanks the staff at the Animal Care Clinic.

My furry friend has unfortunately undergone multiple surgeries, from infections, to bone reconstruction, plate removals. I trust Ken Brown and his staff with my dog over anyone in the state. Not only are they friendly and extremely knowledgeable, but I’m always impressed with how thorough they are with diagnostics and personal attention, keeping me in the loop every step of the way. I highly suggest this clinic to anyone for their pet problems, big or small. A+ service.

We took out dogs here and they took our dog and gave him a x-ray without telling us and they charged $83 for the x-ray. Than they checked his eyes and felt his stomach and charged $48. And lastly they gave us 2 pill bottles with 4 pills in each and charged $24 each. Don’t go here they are rude and unfriendly. But if you liked to be charged $243 for a uti have fun with that.

I switched to the Animal Clinic about 10 years ago, when I needed a second opinion on the health of one of my dogs. He was near death and our vet wasnt able to help him. I took him to the Animal Clinic, and he was on his way to wellness within a week. He lived to be 18 years old.The staff and doctors are always caring with my dogs and always willing to answer all of my questions. They never try to force treatment or procedures on me. They simply give me the information and let me decide. I find them to be very thorough and knowledgeable in all areas of veterinary medicine.I do believe their prices are a little higher than some other vets around town, but the care that they give is worth the extra cost. The Animal Clinic is fantastic! I believe they really care about their patients and strive to give the best care possible.

I cant enough good things about Animal Clinic of Billings. I have had nothing but positive interactions and treatment of my animals here. Our dog had TPLO surgery and rehabilitation and is doing amazing! I would highly recommend these guys for general treatment or orthopedic surgery!

Im fairly new to town and have spent this a.m. calling around getting quotes on services for my lil guy. Everyone Ive called has been helpful and kind. Not Donna. Apparently me calling to ask about pricing on a nail trim and licensing was just too much for her. She asked what breed he was and laughed at my response. Im not a dog breed expert. He is a rescue. I just repeated what I was told he was from his previous veterinarian. She continued to laugh until I just hung up. Maybe Donna needs to be updated on how to do her job politely.

Staff and customer service is impeccable, but I feel they could have made an effort to discuss pricing in advance, so make sure you discuss that minor detail if money is of any concern to you. Heres a list of todays sticker shock that totaled $576.95//$48.00 health examination, $67.70 medical injection joint, $57.00 sedation for procedure, $83.00 X-ray small, $61.00 X-ray courtesy small additional views, $123.00 ultrasound-muscle /tendon, $102.00 polyglycan/triamcinolone, $35.25 hospital 1st day care. =$576.95 I gave consent for an injection for pain; however the courtesy of a phone call to discuss pricing would have been nice.

Staff was fine. Dr Brown was bossy. Felt like I was charged for things we never discussed and that they gave meds we never discussed. Also, a 30min wait when you have an appointment is just bot professional

We had a dog here this past week for surgery. The quoted price for the surgery was $3500 but when we got the bill it was $3808. I really need to understand how this happens because if I quote a price, I have to honor it. Vets are not special, they are not any better than other surgeons, and yet it seems as if they have no conscience when it comes to misleading customers. After driving 600 miles to have the surgery, you cant very well turn around and go home, and then to have the price increased by more than 10%, well that is shameful.Be sure you use your credit card so you can deny the charge if it isnt what was promised.

These guys are amazing. I have been taking my older dogs to them for years and with the newest addition obviously following suit. We had a little mishap earlier this week where my fiancé had to rush BOTH of our boxers in (it was a stressful situation.) I was at work and called them to let them know he was on his way. Even being buried in orthopedic surgeries that day they got our dogs in right when we walked in the door, and calmly assessed the situation. Making all 4 of us feel extremely better. I would highly recommend these guys to any of my fellow pet owners. Thanks again Animal Clinic of Billings!

I highly recommend this business. I took my dog to a veterinarian at a different hospital and the vet misdiagnosed five ruptured discs and told me it was just a common stomach ache, even after taking multiple X-rays of her spine. A few days later my dog was unable to move and the back half of her body had become paralyzed. I took her to Dr. Brown and he immediately pinpointed the problem and rushed her into surgery. Now she runs and jumps like nothing ever happened and youd never be able to tell shes had five discs removed. Dr. Brown and the staff could not have possibly been more awesome, helpful or available to my needs and it was exceedingly clear they were far more knowledgeable and caring of animals than the first clinic I visited.

This review is ONLY for CHRISTIANE YOUNGSTROM.We have brought our 2 dogs to them for 3 years and Christiane (I cant even put Dr. in front of her name) happenED to be our vet 95% of the time. Outside of normal check ups she was absolutely horrible. One of our dogs ears have bothered her for over a year, I have had 3 visits about her ears and have been told every time they are fine Its just a slight Allergy.Our final straw was a cracked toe nail, split horizontally back to the toe itself. It was a good crack, no blood, slight discomfort for the dog. I brought her in to have the cracked portion removed as I didnt have the equipment for it. They insisted she be put to sleep and go through surgery to remove and cauterize the nail. I refused and never came back.After finding a new vet and having to schedule 2 weeks out I purchased a Dremel tool and trimmed the nail back myself. It has been 2 months since the incident and the dog is just fine. The nail has come back healthy and there was never a drop of blood or wince of pain out of the dog.Christiane is greedy and lazy, out to get your money for very little service/effort.I would avoid this Vet at all costs.For what its worth our one and only visit with Dr. Brown was amazing, unfortunately he has moved away from regular visits and is more of a surgeon specialist at the vet.

Dropped the ball and missed a pretty obvious case of kidney disease in the family cat. The symptoms were all there. Told us nothing was wrong and managed to try and up sell us during the visit, too. The cats symptoms continued to progress until we ended up taking the cat to a different Vet (caring hands) and they were able to get it figured out and treated. It would have been better for the cats life expectancy if we hadnt lost the time we did in going to this vet and trusting their knowledge.

Had to take my cat Jack in for a badly swollen foot. Dr. Massic and the staff were all very helpful, informative, and were able to accomodate my last minute appointment. Jack is doing much better thanks to the Animal Clinic of Billings!

Wouldnt help my kitten who was having difficulty breathing unless I paid upfront. I couldnt afford to and asked about payment plans. Still wouldnt help. My cat died that day.

I was out of the country when I had a scary experience with my dog not being able to get up or even walk a couple feet without yelping in pain. One of the vets at this clinic took the time after business hours to talk me through the situation and explain to me what was happening. I was able to get my dog situated and pain managed based off their advice until I was able to take him into their clinic. Overall I have received great service!

They take great care of animals but after you have paid your bill on a payment arrangements they still charge your account when the bill is paid in full

I would not recommend this business. I was charged $1500 for antibiotics, IV fluid and an X-ray. I brought my dog here for a suspected bowel obstruction. She passed the sock that was causing the problem at the office. The vet convinced me to keep her overnight for observation. When I picked her up the next day the bill was $1500. I was stunned and appalled.

4-5 years ago, Took a dog I was given, was abused prior, for a price on repairing her non set broken leg. They were Wonderful in comparison to the 3 vets We had visited. Saw them last year. Office Mgr has Issues! Not going back, much as I Love the Dr. Brown.

We sent out guinea pig there to get help since he couldnt chew , he had diarrhea and he lost almost 2 lbs within two days. We left our gpig there thinking they would help him instead they just gave him food with pellets that he couldnt eat even cut up veggies after we told him he was being syringe fed. They didnt even try to help him to eat all and still put him under sedation for teeth trimming . We got him back with legs not being to stand up , he still couldnt chew and his eyes were very cloudy . Well, about being home for more than 48 hrs our gpig passed after being in terrible jaw pain, cheek twiches, and painful stomach spasms for 48 hrs. They even sent him home without him having going to the bathroom and they go oh we gave him sub q fluids right after the sedation because he was dehydrated of course without being force fed food and water up to at least 50 ml which means 10 ml every 3 hrs. He was also with the chills when I ended up getting him and he was so freaked out besides when he got home. We had trusted them to help him out but instead they let him almost 2 full days there without being syringe fed if I knew they were not going to do that I would not have left him. When we told them he passed they were like What? Then going what you think from ?

Great experience with customer service and from our vet. Had our dog boarded here for a few days while we were out of town. We will be back!!!

Like everyone else, our Lumi is our pride and joy and absolutely the most precious thing to me (ok besides my actual children 😅) I did a lot of research on laparoscopic spays , ovary sparing spays, and laser vs scalpel and through it all Dr. Massic and the staff were super supportive and helpful ; pointing me to other clinics that might provide what I wanted. In the end I chose Dr. Massic to do a standard spay for my Lumi because the care and support they provide is second to none and my fluff baby is doing awesome! They treated her so well! Dr. Massic did some awesome inside out tucking type suture so there are no outer stitches to irritate and they disolve and they sent her home in a cute T-shirt from the clinic tied just right to protect her incision instead of having to wear a cone❤️ I can’t thank them enough for all the care and I’ll never go anywhere else!!

I went in today because my doxi has a uti. I knew that was the cause. The vet came back saying he needed emergency surgery. It was going to cost about 2500. When I did t schedule an appointment they became very pushy. Saying my dog might die. He has Blatter stones. Another vet did not see any stones Or any need for surgery. This place is a chop house for dogs. Never go there!! I also just looked up the 5 star rates and they do not exist. Made up people. They do not have gavenooks or accounts on social media. SAD AND SICK!!

January 2017, Dr. Brown performed a TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) on my 7 year old boxer. This surgery gave Rocko back the life he enjoys of walking and running at Riverfront Park and in the mountains. Dr. Brown and his staff demonstrated their caring and concern for Rocko with each visit to the Animal Clinic of Billings. I highly recommend this team and facility.

After three vets and 2 years of x-rays, cortisone shots, PRP injections into my dogs elbow, I was sent here. These folks are not only incredibly caring, but saved my dog from constant pain. They immediately ordered a catscan and saw, what no others did, that my dog had floating bone chips in his elbow. They scheduled a surgery for 2 days later. With some PRP and glucosamine injections over the next months, my 11 year old golden can now do 3-5 miles of easy hiking. Thank you Dr. Brown!

In the past 3 months I have had occasion to take 2 animals to the Animal Clinic. In both cases we were treated exceptionally as they sought to provide options for us that we could live with and afford. In the second case, we were provided with an estimate. Sadly, the required care was well beyond what was expected, including several nights remaining on site after surgery. Regretting the substantial difference between estimate (not to be confused with a quote) and final cost, the vet discounted our bill substantially. She then followed up with us via phone a few days later.Pets are expensive and I will now purchase pet insurance. That said, I cannot recommend The Animal Clinic of Billings too highly.

HORRIBLE!!!! Took my service dog in for some trays and got no estimate at all. They sedated him, but gave him too much, so he couldnt recover properly. They refused to allow me to see him, refused to release him for me to take home, refused to let him out so he spent the entire night in his own feces. The next morning they still refused to allow me to even see him, refused to talk to me at all, and couldnt even remember what he was there for. I finally started freaking and they acted like I was some sort of insane monster because they basically kidnapoec my sd and MY medical needs were irrelevant. So the Dr finally decided to spare me 45 seconds to tell me that there was nothing wrong with my dog and that he was sure it would be just fine. Patronizing insulting and arrogant. Then came the bill...$752.00 for NOTHING. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOULOVE YOUR DOG
