Kinda disappointed. I booked online a oil change and wheel alignment with full details of my vehicle.Upon starting my service I reminded them to rotate the tires. Afterwards they advised me they can not do my alignment due to vehicle weight.Well they know me vehicle info since they require it to schedule. They know in advance the weight of the vehicle. Thanks for wasting my time... SMH

This location is obviously dealing with the same labor shortages every other service industry company is, bu Yadshira at the front desk was very patient explaining the time it’d take to each person that stopped in, very polite, and gives off positive vibes. The technicians were surprisingly quick, my service took an hour less than I expected. Still best to drop off your car or be ready to sit for a couple hours, but it’s worth the time.

My wife and I were traveling home from Hershey Park and had a tire blowout on I-78. It was a Sunday so we were scrambling around to find a place to replace the tire and cracked rotor. We eventually made it to Pep Boys and the experience was fantastic. Elena and John went out of their way to squeeze us in and get the car fixed so we could make it home to NY. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. Very professional, kind, and accommodating.

This shop is my go-to for all automotive servicing. It can occasionally be a couple of days before they can take your vehicle in for an appointment, but they make up for it with great customer service, fair prices and skilled mechanics who actually know what they are doing. Sometimes chain stores have below-average mechanics or no mechanics at all (some utilize trained technicians rather than ASE certified mechanics) but the mechanics here are true mechanics; this location also benefits from good management and a very good front desk staff that know what they are talking about and they do a nice job of communicating. There is no parts store attached like a more typical Pep Boys, so the lone drawback is that the location has a limited parts supply and must be replenished from their Allentown store that has parts and service on site. I do recommend this facility for servicing - they do a nice job.

Fantastic, it cost me a lot less to get done then what they quoted me at the dealership, and they were honest about it the Chevy dealership in Wind Gap was not. They told me things that were wrong with my car that wasnt. They tried to get me to buy a new vehicle I dont know who the technician was but I dont think he knows what he was doing I mean they told me it would cost me labor alone $7,441.13 that didnt include parts. And that it wasnt worth fixing. I know one thing they should get rid of that technician cuz he dont know what hes doing.

Best mechanics in Bethlehem. Nice, good people who are always willing to help you out. Fair prices and they give many deals/coupons. As someone who doesn’t know much about auto repair, I appreciate how they take the time to explain what’s wrong and what needs to be done to my car. Absolutely incredible customer service! Elena was so helpful and friendly. While on a mini vacation an hour’s drive from home, my engine began smoking and smelling terrible. I have not had great experiences with pep boys in the past but was in a jam so I called this store. From the moment she answered the phone I was greeted with the highest quality customer service and friendly demeanor. I brought my vehicle in to be looked at and left it over night. She called me a few times to keep me updated on what was going on and found a solution to the problem so I could safely get home. I would absolutely use this store as my primary shop if I lived closer. Thank you, Elena for all your amazing help and for making a stressful experience so pleasant and easy!

Good sale on 4 new tires. **BUT** You get what you pay for! Am not going here again. But what do they care- theyre not interested in loyal customers like our mom and pop shop we go to. My mistake for just not going there and paying +200 for 4 new tires on new suv.1st time with appt first thing in morning- backed up so we went all the way home and waited for call. Waited until 3pm.Tires on, a few days later my car drives with a shake and bumps. So I called and they scheduled me to bring car back early one am, first appt.Drive a the way there and not one tech is in. Receptionist called and called and no one answered.Car didnt get fixed and went all the way home.Going to my neighborhood mechanic from now on.

Bought a battery online for pickup here. The inventory was wrong and they didnt have it but I noticed a Bosch battery that would fit. They quickly and happily fixed the order and I was on my way quickly and happier leaving with a Bosch brand battery instead. 5 out of 5, Id come back for service in the future. Thanks!!

Had an appointment and when I arrived I was told that they may not get to my repair that day! I stated that I had an appointment and was told they had two techs that called off. But they were able to service someone else’s car getting tires but did not have an appointment!

Everytime I come here I am always pleased with the service. The manager is so kind. I love the appointment online app and I am never mislead with the diagnosis of my vehicle.

No one answers the phone. Very unprofessional assistant manager. I recommended this business to my husband. This is based upon n his experience to purchase 4 Michelin tires for his Rav 4. They didn’t have them in stock. Long story short he purchased 4 tires from an unknown manufacturer. I personally am sympathetic to their short staffed situation, but I don’t want to hear about it.

The Service was great, and the cost was lower than I was expecting to pay. I got a flat on the highway while I was putting on the spare I called them and told them roughly when I would be there. When I arrived they repaired my tire in no time.

I have been going to this Pep Boys store for about a year now with 2 different cars that are in for routine service about bi-monthly due to the mileage we drive. The team here is quite efficient in what they do and get you out the door quickly for the minor work. In most my time there I have dealt with Kevin, Jorge & Allison whom are very nice & knowledgeable. They will check the car over for you, explain what is going on and even show you should you like. They can get most parts quickly and when I am in a bind have been even able to get them in as little as a few hours. In my experience I generally do not have issues which is why I continue my support of the store but if/when there are and I discuss with the team they will do what is necessary to make it right.

Great service! I went to Bethlehem Pep Boys yesterday to get two tires put on my car and an alignment done after making an appt the day before. My car was taken into the garage right on time and the mechanic did everything I asked to get done.The guys at the front desk were super friendly and easy to talk to, and they answered all the questions that I had. I will definitely be going back in the future.

The person who worked on my car Matt was very nice. It is really hard to find a shop with honest people. I am kind upset, use to take my 2007 Ford F 250 harley-davidson here for oil change, but last week I did an appointment for a brake service and they cancelled the same day I dropped off the truck. Aparently their shop equipment cant handle my truck weight. So I bought the tools and bought the calipers and new house at Autozone, definetly was cheaper that the brake job another pep boys shop did in my truck for 800.00 and just one year start to failure. I am a US Army active duty soldier so I really in this services because every three years I have to move. No more pep boys for me.

Terrible experience with Andrew didnt have tires as was told on the phone was going to get different tires only two in stocks they were going to get them fron another store other store sold them again bad inventory then was told they were going to get 4 more by Wednesday again notices and no communication from them I had to call to find everything out finally went backto car dealer and purchased tires , now they want to resolve the problem with a free oil change Andrew stated oil change was quite expensive around 120.00 again trying to make me feel inferior I told him that the car dealer changes my oil every 5000 miles for only 69.95 so no resolution there in my opinion very bad way to do business

Been going to this shop mostly for tires and alignments on my vehicle for a few years since I do most work myself. The new management and staff there is really great. Went there for some unusual wear on my tires and they diagnosed the issue and showed me exactly what was wrong. They weren’t able to get the parts which was fine since I was going to perform the repair, but after everything was done they aligned it better than factory. I had them replace a bearing awhile ago and it recently started making noise again just 2 months after their warranty (6 months) which bearings should last almost forever, I just briefly mentioned it and they offered to replace it anyway which I wasn’t expecting. I amDefinitely impressed with that. Very happy with my recent experience here. Car runs and drives like new.

Worst repair experience ever! They refused to warranty poor work performed by another Pep Boys. Very smug and arrogant staff. I will never go to another Pep Boys again. Also, an oil change cost about the same as if I were to do it myself. Got my moms car state/emmision inspection as well. Great atmosphere for such a small place. I will go again, when needed as its my new go to maintenance shop.

I needed a decent chunk of work done, tires, breaks, oil change, and inspection. Allison was very helpful in explaining the cost of everything and the different rebates I was able to get. She called me first before doing an additional caliper that was found to be ceased and broke the price down for that as well. They were able to get the work done quickly and for a reasonable price. My car drives great now and I couldnt be happier. I look forward to returning for future needs.

One star not for service but for having two technicians on duty for a Saturday afternoon a week before Christmas -That’s just terrible

I took my car in for a simple oil change. I was in and out in 45 min. However, after getting home I noticed on my work order that I was charged for 6 quarts of oil instead of the 5 that my car takes. So I went and checked my oil and found that it had been overfilled quite a bit. I also had no sticker with the mileage for the next oil change. I took my car (and kids) back to the shop to have them check it. I was told that the computer said my car took 5.5 quarts of oil and that since they can’t charge a half a quart, I was charged for 6 quarts. My car’s manufacturer recommendation is 4.8 quarts with a new filter. I’ve never had any shop or the dealer use more than 5 quarts. One of the mechanics suggested that “they” have been underfilling the oil for years. They took my car back in the shop and found that it had been overfilled. They drained some oil out and then sent me on my way with an apology. I still paid for oil my car didn’t need (and it was expensive Mobil 1 full synthetic) and had the aggravation of having to change plans, pack my kids up, and take my car back to the shop. And good thing I was paying attention because my car could have been damaged because of this mistake. Interesting to note, while I was there waiting for my car the first time, several of the mechanics came into the waiting area to talk to the woman at the register about how incompetent the other tech was and how stupid he was. They used profanity and their conversation was inappropriate for a waiting area. The tech they were complaining about is the one who worked on my car.

Last week was supposed to get an inspection, arrived at the center and was told emission machine was not working, never was called or emailed. Then today went to my appointment at 11 am for the inspection, was waiting for the car and still at 1:45 the car had not been touched and was told we’ll be “next”. What are appointments for if you can’t complete the job at the time of the appointment

Not the great place it used to be. Tried to say my wipers needed replaced when they did not--this happened twice on two different vehicles.

I called today and asked about having 4 tires that I had at home simply removed from the rim and they quoted my 80.00 freaking dollars!!!!So, I called across the street to Jack Williams.... And got a non rip off quote of 10.00 per. I will never ever get my vehicle service there Ever!!

This is hands down the best garage around !! Theres one mechanic that stands out the most, Matt! Hes great always fixes my car now. He gets things done fast!

Ive been in management for almost twenty years and one thing I know, when someone on my team or myself makes a clerical error, we fix it. This place gave me the worst customer service experience I have had in a long time. They overbooked their schedule on a day I was supposedly scheduled but somehow left me off the schedule. I spoke to the manager three times when the schedule was empty and he confirmed I was coming in on Sunday at noon with my wifes SUV. Come Sunday, Im not scheduled and the mechanic on duty who should not ever deal with customers had no remedy and no consideration that we drove there because we were under the impression we were with someone Ive trusted my vehicle with in the past. The management team must have changed because the manager was called and he lied about speaking to me 3 times and and left it up to the mechanic on duty. I will never take my business over there again. My regular mechanic at Jeffs Automotive was booked so Pep Boys was my backup mechanic but next time Ill wait. No matter how good a mechanic is, if your customer service is bad, your business is bad. Stay away from this place. Trust me, I never give a bad review but this was bad business from a team who dont care about the customer. Well heres the power of the internet giving them the spotlight they deserve. Every time I do business in this part of town, the quality of life is always absent. And thats just facts. They treat people of color like were nothing.

Placed an order online then called in and spoke to James who confirmed that my tires were in stock and scheduled a day and time to come in to have my tires installed. The morning of, I call to confirm just so I didnt drive an hour for no reason, because Ive had a recent experience of ordering tires and scheduling an appointment elsewhere only to wait for an hour, have my tires removed, and then the shop discovering they dont have my tires. So of course, they only had three of my four tires. Told by Jason the manager that the fourth was on its way but not there yet (and not in time for my appointment). Jason calls me when the tire arrives so I tell him itll take me an hour to get there is that ok, can I come in an hour. Told yes no problem, and that hed adjust the price for my troubles. I was given the idea that I would be taken care of when I got there, but when I arrived there, I ended up waiting for something like an hour and a half before by car was even taken in. Jason was the only person working and already had a car on the lift. Then Jason leaves and goes to sit in his car to have lunch. Im still made to wait even though another tech arrives who then proceeds to start work on another car over mine. I speak to Jason who then tries to tell me if Id come in for my original appointmentt I would have waited even longer because they were backed up. That he has to eat because hes diabetic. I get it, I live with a brain cyst and sick all the time. Why couldnt he have explained that in the phone before I get there so I know what to expect? And please explain to me why appointment times are even scheduled? If they are not going to honor an appointment because they are working on cars from the day before, or dont have enough techs, or whatever other excuse they can come up with, how can anyone depend on getting their car serviced in a reasonably timely manner on the day of scheduled service? All Im trying to do is get new tires. Im so sick and tired of being taken advantage of and given the run-around by places like this, because thats what it feels like. Is it because Im a woman? I dont get it. I can understand if Im expected to wait an hour or two if I walk in off the street, but I confirmed an appointment time as a wait for service customer. Its not bad enough that I was told the tires were in stock when they werent. And then I thought at least there would be a consolation to all the, as Jason told me I was getting a discount that was better than the veterans discount I was offered, but it seems I ended up getting just a little more off that I would have gotten automatically with the veterans discount, at least according to my calculations (although I appreciate anything, at least its something). I ended up being there for 2 hours. Does anyone else go through this, or is it just me? I feel like theres a kick-me sign on my back all the time. Im either getting ripped off, getting poor treatment, and/or poor service. I mean, if what I keep experiencing is the way things work, have the respect and courtesy to at least let me know in advance so I dont think Im being taken advantage of. Is that too much to ask? And quite frankly, if this is the way things operate with everyone at all these types of places, I think that really sucks. Ive really got to learn how to do my own tires and other simple maintenance, because dealing with car shops is frustrating and discouraging. Now my only hope is that I dont experience and issues with the tires, but with my luck I probably will.

Picked this place for a simple oil change. They didnt ask what oil so i assumed they checked the system like everywhere else does. Nope. lucky i caught it when they charged me price of conventional instead of manufacturer recommended synthetic oil. Then they did a sloppy job re-doing the oil change in a rush, spilling oil everywhere

Nice budget place to get the work done on your car

Price was high but the service was excellent. We were out of state and in a pinch. Open on Saturday and Sunday.

Not trying to solve problem but selling parts, did a state inspection there and I asked them to help me check the tires to see if they needed some air they said everything was fine and i was good to go. Later I found out that one of my tire was damaged because of their incaution, and they tried to sell me the tires, why dont you bought me? I dont know if there is other problem that they failed to find out.

Went there on Wednesday cause my brakes were making noise and George the assistant manager pulled the car right in.He then proceeded to remove my tires and discovered that my brakes were metal to metal.Then he gave a couple of options and we decided to go with the middle package(they come with lifetime warranty pads and rotors)and everything got done in less than a hour.He did sign me up for the rewards program and my brake inspection was free!Very professional friendly services.Highly recommended!

I went to Pepboys to exchange a car battery that did not meet the 3-year guarantee. I ignorantly went in without any receipt or proof of purchase because my husband had told me that this was a Pepboys-only battery, which later turned out to not be true.Two men helped me but I didnt get either of their names: both 20s or early 30s men of average height, one white with a beard & one tan guy with a buzzcut. The buzzcut guy looked up all of my information & even called the out-of-town location I had purchased the battery in, all to no avail (& my growing embarrassment). Anyway, he ended up able to exchange my battery. He was even nice enough to lift the old one out of my trunk & carried the exchange out to my car. Then, he thought I had trouble navigating out of tight spot I was in & offered to help (but actually I was using my backup cam lol)All in all, 10 out of 10 & I would absolutely trust this place again which is pretty important when it comes to car service.

Entered into an agreement on a price with the night manager when I dropped off a set of wheels. When I went in the next day to pick them up, the day manager quoted me for $35 more than I was quoted the night before. This place cant be trusted. Luckily theyre one of many places along Stefko blvd, so just avoid these guys and bring your business elsewhere

Every time I come here I receive great customer service. I dont know much about cars but the workers are knowledgeable and knows exactly what I want when I explain it to them.

I would never go here again or recommend it. I was getting new tires, they opened and broke my window, refused to fix it saying it was broken when it came in then went and opened my hood to put new tires in?! They broke my hood and could not close it. I definitely knew that was not broken when we got there so I refused to leave until they fixed it. Horrible attitudes and treated me like I did not know my car at all. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

These guys saved the day for me! My sunroof was stuck open, on a holiday no less, on a day that it was pouring! Thankfully they were open and although very busy, they were able to help me get it closed, while on top doing an oil change for me at the last minute. I was very greatful for their help!!!!

I went to this location on 11/13 ordered my tires the day before received an email that my appointment was scheduled arrived at 1:15 pm it took them 3 hrs to replace my tires on my truck while I was waiting even though I had an appointment I will never go to this location ever again

Had new tires and wheel alignment done 11/2/18 at Pep Boys.Got my car serviced at the dealer 3/23/19 and they are telling me I need a new alignment. My tire has wear and tear that suggest I never got an alignment done..
