After trying other tire shops nearby I was turned down due to the time of day. The manager Chris was more than accommodating when I had a near flat tire right at their closing time. They were able to get me back on the road right away without any question. Would highly recommend giving them business due to their selflessness and professionalism.

These guys were superb.I spoke with Chris, the team leader/manager prior to my visit and explained that I purchased tires in MS and there was a problem. The vehicle just didnt feel right after installing four new tires. Chris met me at the door. He handed my key to one of the techs who took my vehicle to the shop immediately where he found one tire that had a manufactures defect. Chris said he didnt have the tire in stock but could have there by the weekend, Saturday. Once I found out the tire was there like he said it would be, I drove back to the shop and was once again greeted at the door. Tire was replaced and I was back on the road with a most satisfying smooth ride. The Bessemer location, in my opinion, is where you should go for any automotive service need. Chris and his staff are always professional, courteous, time efficient, polite, and always take great care of not only me as a customer, but my vehicle as well! Mavis Tires & Brakes were fast and reasonably priced! I called from out of state to see if a specific type of tire was in stock and would be available within the next hour, as my husband was driving in on a spare. I did not have high hopes on a Sunday before labor day, but luckily, they had when he needed in stock (although not new rims, but that was fine). I was able to place an order quickly and easily, at a very reasonable price. He was in and out within an hour with the new tire on his car. Very happy that I found Mavis Tires & Brakes, they saved my husband a lot of time and trouble.

From the time I walked in they were quick to ask what can they help me with, which was nice. TP helped me get the information I needed to repair my car in a timely manner. The young lady with the dreads didn’t catch her name but she made sure my parts was ordered and heading to the store. Over all I had a great experience even with the mechanics family type atmosphere. I will now get any work done here and will recommend them!!!!!!

Chris was awesome! I had a bolt in my tire that could not be patched or plugged. They helped me find the right replacement tire for my car at an excellent price. I left the wheel with them and went back to work on the spare tire. After work, I came back to pay and they offered to put the new tire on and put the spare back in the car for me, no extra charge. Would seek to do business with Mavis Tire and Brakes in Bessemer again!!!!

Brought my car in to find out why it was having a slow tire leak and in 30 mins I was out the door. Super easy staff, Chris was a blast to talk to while I waited, and my car tire is now fixed and I dont have to spend hella money on new tires or anything else crazy expensive. We had a great experience here. Devon was very friendly. My grandmother insisted on coming with me to get my car aligned. He was there to answer all of her questions and even engaged in conversation with her. All the other workers were very friendly and worked fast as well. We even got to choose what we wanted to watch on tv. 5/5 stars. Highly recommend.

I was quoted over the phone a price. At check out the price wasnt what I was quoted. They suggested an alignment. I declined. They suggested brakes for my car. I was able to look at my pads and rotors. I didnt get brakes. My rotors were smooth and I was okay with the amount of brake pad still on the pads. In the end I paid about $30 more than I was originally quoted. They were pretty quick with the tires, I was just not fond of how they tried to upsale me for more money.

Had a tire with low air. Josh was working with several customers but was smiling the whole time. When he went out to get info on a car he was writing up he took the time to get one of the shop guys to check my tire. They aired it up and took the time to find the nail in my tire. Josh at Mavis in Bessemer was still at store when i arrived with one of customers vehicle im a tow truck driver for absolute towing he was so considerate enough to allow me to put my customers vehicle in his shop over night a BMW i might add i have to say for the care value this gentleman has about his customers vehicle i think is one of the best things ever cuz ppl dont care in this world anymore. I ordered new tires over the phone through Mavis on Monday and they were received and installed the next day. The customer service was outstanding both over the phone and once I arrived for installation. Id like to personally thank Greg for his honesty and the time he took to keep me updated. I had my tires replaced, balanced and aligned and had my windshield wipers replaced. The work performed was excellent. I felt like I was driving away in a new vehicle. I highly recommend Mavis Discount Tire.

I got a flat tire and luckily a Mavis was located right off the interstate. The store was full and had nothing available today as it was almost time for the store to close. That didn’t stop the man working behind the counter, Josh, from coming out and helping me to get my spare on the car. Absolutely great example of A+ customer service. Every time I purchase tires in the future it’ll be from this Mavis location. Best most selfless customer service I’ve ever experienced.

I took my car to Mavis tire on 6-26-2020 They installed front brakes and 4 new tires. The cost was less than what pep boys was going to charge me so it was about the money but I was very impressed with the workers and the Customer service. I will definitely being using them again. I was going to buy tires. I picked out the brand agreed on the price. The time was 1:30. The manager told me the were behind and ask if I could come back at 3:30. I said I could. When I returned they put the car no the rack. I waited until 5:00 At 5:00 they said it would be. 6:00 or 6:30. At that I gave the manager a piece of my mind and left. I was in the service industry for many years. I NEVER treated customers this way.

Hi. Sadly, I visited this Mavis location to have them evaluate a rumbling feedback I had begun to feel after hitting a road pothole. Rather than address my explicit request, they immediately began trying to sell me four new tires, even though I made it clear that two of my tires were relatively new. After the first sales pitch- which took nearly 10 minutes- they pressed on for another seven minutes trying to sell until I reiterated my original request, at which point they answered my question in under a minute. I had a much better experience at a Mavis in another city, but this was notably time-wasting service.

Make sure you ask for Michael and his Amazing Mechanic Michael!I came in with much baggage! My car had been stolen and there was pleanty wrong with the Car! These two men helped me in a way that i could not ever repay them! This is the very least i can do! I am beyond grateful!They did not take advantage of me, they cared, and helped tremendously!I am so very thankful. This place is horrible. I dont recommend this place to anyone. They dont honor their prices I came they didnt balance my tires they broke 2 peoples lug nuts and told them sorry and they had to come back the next day. They didnt fix my tire sensors correctly. I was the ONLY one here and it took them 3hrs to put new tires mount and balance them on my truck. Then they told me I had to come back the next day to get my sensors done correctly. My truck is shaking because they didnt balance my tires nor align my front end. I had to give them 1 star to write a review they deserve negative stars... Horrible.. STAY AWAY.. NOW DAY 2 AND BEEN HERE 2HRS... RUN. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE... 😤😤😤😠
