Wonderfully understanding and skillful. Had an emergency repair situation while driving across the country with wife and four year old son. They squeezed us into their busy garage and gave us prompt pleasant service while not overcharging. Couldn’t recommend these people more. Honest compassionate skill!

Came from out of state with a flat tire. They were able to help us out in a pinch and were so kind in the process. Prices are super reasonable. 15/10 would come back if I lived here!

I bought a used Mazda 3 for my daughter to learn how to drive. The car needed inspection and a few other issues addressed. Laubdach’s per my request went over this car with a fine tooth comb and did a fantastic job getting it on the road in new like condition. I have zero hesitation on having my daughter drive this car. The final Bill was completely reasonable for what was done.I will be a return customer in the future. Thank you!

Mike and his staff do excellent work and are priced right. My original estimate was $100 more than the actual bill. When I said how happy I was that they beat their original estimate they told me the axel came as a kit so some of the parts that were on the estimate werent needed and sent back. I was very happy about that because I feel others could have hidden that and stuck to the original estimate. Thanks guys 👍

April 11, 2018 - Drove car to Laubach’s, Berwick - 12 pm. Reported that I had a popping and clicking sound from driver’s side. Asked to replace driver’s side CV axle and check to make sure nothing else was wrong. They reported hearing no sound. I said replace the driver’s side CV axle anyway so I have a matching set for the one on the passenger side was just replaced due to a tore boot. Got a checklist stating the car was safe to drive. Said before I left the popping sound was the driver’s side strut mount. Popping and clicking sound was still present as I drove to work.April 11, 2018 - Drove home from work - 11:30 pm - Car started shifting funny. Pulled over and stopped. Tried to move the car, car would not move. All 8 quarts of transmission fluid came out. Car towed to Bastain Tire and Auto in Shamokin Dam.April 12, 2018 - 10 am - Received a call from Bastain’s stating the driver’s side CV axle was not seated correctly and this is why it came out causing all the transmission fluid to come out. I asked them to check for any further underlying causes. They said they could find none. They added transmission fluid and I picked up the car. Transmission still in tact.April 12, 2018 - 3 pm - Car still making popping sound - Drove to Laubach’s and they put another replacement driver’s side CV axle on free of charge, checked lock ring, said the car was fine, not making any noises and again the car was safe to drive. Then they went back on the noise issue and said my upper dog bone motor mount on the drivers side is bad, thus changing their position on the noise being the strut mount. Said car was 100 percent safe to drive.April 13, 2018 - 12 pm - Popping and clicking noise still present. Looked at engine bay, noticed motor is shifted to the passenger side. Took the car to Kost in Bloomsburg. Had a tech come out and look at it. I explained the whole situation. He said start the car, put it in reverse, then drive, then reverse, then drive, then hold the brake and give it some gas, put it back in park, shut the car off. I got out. He said you have a broken main engine mount underneath. We put it up on the lift and he showed me the main engine mount on the passenger side is broken and the tranny mount on the driver’s side is wore. He said replacing the dog bone would not fix my problem. He said if I keep driving the axle will come out again. Because the engine is shifted so far to the passenger side thus pulling on the axle. The axle is making noise because it is under stress. He deemed the car unsafe to drive. Monday Kost will replace both main mounts.April 13, 2018 - Call Laubach’s. Mike got huffy on the phone, told me I gave them the go ahead to replace the driver’s side CV axle when they said that wasn’t the problem. I told him I wanted a matching set either way and I am not upset about replacing the axle, however I asked them to check for underlying issues which they failed to do so as well as telling me a car was safe to drive which clearly it is not. He then argued that the upper dog bone motor mount is the problem. I said you are wrong and it is proved out right here and now, Kost told me that will not fix the problem. The only comment made at that point was that he was sorry if they overlooked something, not a very sincere sounding apology, and that if I wanted to bring it back up they could help with it. I said no.Now this brings up a few issues. One this has cause me an unbelievable amount of stress from missing work, to losing sleep, to multiple panic attacks and ending up in the ER due to stress and exhaustion. It also brings up the issue of whether this was done because of a mistake or the fact I am trans. It is hard to prove the latter but yet why would an experience mechanic miss something like this… And does this warrant the potential to go to court due to damages and losses suffered?Update - Transmission was damaged because of this. Car not shifting right now. Coming back for all my money now.
