My sister and I are visiting from Chicago and really needed a nice pedicure. We looked at all the shops in Berkeley and picked Berkeley Nails because of their good reviews. We called ahead and they got us in right away. Henry and Lily were very friendly, offered water and gave us shellac pedicures. I recommend this nail shop for locals and visitors.

Awful customer service. The nail techs had a really negative attitude and they communicate very poorly(not in terms of grammar, I’m talking about courtesy) They don’t care about their customers nor do they value your time. I’ve been here twice. The second time I went in hoping for a better experience than the first time but I still got disappointed. I called & made an appointment an hour in advance. I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early. 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, no one had said a thing to me. I remember one client walking in after me and being catered to before me. This prompted me to ask why it was taking so long before someone could help me. The lady I asked got so irritated that I even asked. She responded with such an attitude which prompted me to just leave. I couldn’t stand the thought of spending my money at a place where I did not feel valued as a customer. I’m glad I left because I found a new nail salon whose service I am very pleased with!

I go here regularly because it’s convenient. The service is okay, the quality of work is okay, the price is decently cheap. Lately I’ve had to wait 30-60 minutes even if I call ahead of time and make an appointment - be prepared to wait. The quality really depends on which tech you go to. I’d recommend them if they’re convenient or you’re looking for a cheap cost.

My favorite nail salon. Their prices are reasonable and they are really good about remembering returning customers. The shop is never too packed and they seem to work quickly and efficiently.

Go elsewhere. Pretty shady people working here and 2nd rate work. Over charge and will laugh at you when u ask why its twice the advertised price.

I went in to get a full set of acrylic nails. They charged me for the tips $10, the acrylic $25, the polish $10, glitter polish $10. All of this told to me after the fact. The nails are too wide, thick and lumpy, and the polish looks raggedy. I feel like they use their language barrier to rob people blind. I will never go there again and I most definitely DO NOT RECCOMEND!!!

My first visit and resulting gel manicure was spectacular. The second gel manicure was just okay. Will try once more because the staff is quite lovely.

Worst place in Berkeley. Worst staff 50 minutes with appt and they didnt even say sorry. The employees are not licensed i noticed the license certificate are missing or has the same names.

Friendly, efficient and fast (unless theyre swamped). They have a very convenient location, steps away from Downtown Berkeley BART station.

My aching little toe is now free from pain! Hanh was awesome. Im going to request her everytime I needed a pedicure🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅

I made an appointment after confirming a price quote. When I arrived, they told me it was $10 more. I left without taking the appointment because I thought that was a substantial price differential and rather unfairly handled.

Theyve actually moved location! They are on Shattuck in between Allston and center. Anyway! Lovely place and quite cheap. Better than manicures that Ive paid more for.

This nail shop I would pass by a lot going to work. I decided to try it since I need a convenient place to get my nails done regularly. Ive been there twice for a gel mani/pedi (color of choice on mani and French pedi always). They do such a great job welcoming you inside. They seem to be organized and ready for whatever. They have the lemon cucumber water for pedis which is nice. The two times Ive gone there I have been completely pleased with their service. They finish in a reasonable amount of time (45-60 minutes for gel mani pedi) and my pedi has stayed for a month and my mani stays for about 2 1/2 weeks so I would get that done again more frequently than the pedi. I work at a gymnastics coach barefoot and spotting with my hands ALL DAY LONG so having my nails done just makes it feel nice and not like you have to have ratchet nails all the time lol. I will definitely be making this my go-to spot for a while until I move next year! Highly recommended in my opinion. Also I usually do walk-ins. The two times Ive gone on a Wednesday afternoon during a break from work and they had time for me right away although it did fill up pretty quickly after I came in so I may start making appointments just to make sure they can fit me in cuz I have a pretty packed schedule. Also I only gave them a 4 out of 5 because of the way they do my French pedi. I like the more squared off look on the end rather than a rounded line at the ends of that makes sense. But it doesnt bother me much its just a preference! The price is do-able for me ($57 for what I get plus a tip) and completely worth the quality work they do! I have yet to get acrylics or anything else done by them so I cant speak on those. But so far a quality, highly recommended experience! 👍🏽

I guess Im not expecting stellar customer service from any nail salon...just a clean place that does a reasonably good job.I walked in at 10:45am on a Tuesday and was told can you come back in an hour? No, were busy I could see they were busy but it was the F off manner that I was told they couldnt accomadate me that rubbed me the wrong way. I had already paid for parking so I was bummed I had to leave to find another spot.

Nice staff and just as good as places that are much more expensive.

Always a waist of time. Terrible costumer service.

Last time I was got my nails done the heavy set lady gave me a nail fungus I will not be able to get my nails done for a while.
