This place is amazing! We brought in a broken iPhone and were helped quickly and efficiently by the friendly staff. The interior looks nice too, with plants and a chessboard to enjoy while waiting, although our wait time was not long. These guys know their stuff and are welcoming and calm as well.

I love this place. I have taken all my mac products here and everyone is thuro, honest and friendly. I have taken my phone in several times and they have helped me at no charge. They cleaned my computer and made it run faster as well as educated me on how to clean it myself. Thank you MacTek!

Last Thursday I was in Eugene and my MacBook Pro battery died. I phoned Simply Mac and was told to bring in my computer and theyd call me in about an hour; if the battery was dead they could order and itd arrive in a week.Instead, I drove back to BEND on Friday, arriving at MACTEK at 11:25 AM. MACTEK took my computer and said theyd call me as soon as they opened up the computer. At 1:30 PM THAT SAME DAY MACTEK called and said the battery was DEAD and they had put in a new battery and my computer was good to GO! WONDERFUL!!! Yeah MACTEK! These guys are awesome, they fixed my phone 45 min before they closed on Memorial Day. Quality screens, much better than simply Mac in bend that takes sometimes two or three days to get fixed even with an appointment.

I tried to get help from the Apple store, even made an appointment. On the day of appointment I was told they would need my laptop for at least two weeks. They needed to first perform a diagnostics on it, to see if it was the battery and then if they didn’t have the battery that was needed they would order it and install it when it came in. I don’t live by an Apple store so this appointment was a total bomb and waste of my time. I called local Mac store and was pretty much told the same thing again. All I needed was a battery 😜 A friend of mine told me about Mac Tek in Bend. I made a call and visited with a wonderful and informative gal who offered instruction on how to check my battery. I did that and sure enough it was the battery. I went in to Mac Tek and within minutes I was walking out the door with a very happy laptop, that is running like a champ. Don’t mess around if you have Apple products in Central Oregon just go to Mac Tek first, you won’t be sorry. The technicians listen and solve your problems quick. Very friendly staff. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received!

This is my go to place for any problems I ever have with my MacPro computer or my iPhone. The staff are amazingly competent, courteous, helpful, and I have never been disappointed by their service. This place is the real deal! In the past week they have replaced my iPhone screen and completely updated my computer. I plan to bring in my iPad next week. Last week my hard drive started to crash and luckily Andrew was here on his monthly service call and spotted the trouble. He was able to save all my data and get me back up and running within a day! All for a fraction of the cost of a new computer. I cant recommend these guys enough!

I thought my MacBook Pro (8 years old) was dead (slow to the point of being unusable), but I figured it was worth seeing if there was anything that could be done with it. MacTek did some magic (they were actually very good about telling me exactly what they did, with a price breakdown for each component ) and I feel like I have a new Mac! I was surprised when they called me back the same day to pick it up..I figured they had a question or something but nope, my computer was ready to go! Also replaced my old iPhone battery. I would much rather repair something than buy new, and this place made that possible. Highly recommend.

When considering local repair options for my MacBook Pro, (needing a battery replacement) I stumbled upon this place and they came in less than half on cost and less than 24 hour turn-around time (other local shop was backed up by a week). When working with their staff I noticed they had a higher level of customer service than I would normally expect from any shop akin to the Apple Store. I will be going back there for all of my future personal and business needs. If you have a problem, they are very knowledgeable, and their experience shows!

During my last two days of visiting relatives, my son - during some caving expedition - crushed the newest iphone that I JUST bought him, and even though we consider ourselves techie we couldnt solve problems with a cracked screen. Full-disclosure: I spent way too much time embarrassing my son in front of the rep, but he kept calm with my venting; it was just the screen, and everything was fixed before we had to leave so I was very happy with the timely service provided for our time in need.

A week before, my iPhone SE had a battery capacity of 80% and even with calibrating it, it would not even last one day without shutting off.Recently I spent $40 dollars for a new battery for my iPhone SE and the picture below explains the result.Even with the phone on all day, listening to music and podcasts it barely even wears the battery anymore.Also, David was a very nice guy to talk to and spent like 10 minutes talking about general tech. Very nice and knowledgeable guy.

Be careful. I was quoted $259 and ended up paying $359 when I picked up! I was never contacted about a price change. See below for details.I called ahead and got a quote for $259 for an OEM screen replacement on a iPhone XS Max. When I dropped off my phone they looked it over and we discussed pricing (to confirm the quote) and timeline. They asked me questions to fill out my customer profile which included a good contact number and my email address.When I came back to pick up my phone a few hours later, they told me that because my phone was an XS max that the price was actually $359. They said they were happy to change out the screen for me to pick up NEXT DAY if I wasn’t happy with that price. KNOWING they inaccurately quoted me. They never attempted to contact me before starting the project to confirm it was still okay for them to move forward. Instead they took the liberty to decide for me and then when I arrive to pick it up they tell me I either have to pay over $100 more, or pick up next day. I own a marketing agency, my phone is a large part of my job. I couldn’t do next day!While I assume this was a lazy and careless mistake, you’re a business who “specializes” in handling this exact kind of technology. To have held my phone in your hands, confirmed the $259 price with me and then gave me an ultimatum of upcharge or pick my phone up next day was awful customer service and horrible business practice. I would never trust this business to give me an accurate quote or handle my technology correctly.

So helpful and friendly!After trying to fix a sticky key on my MacBook Air by myself, I couldnt get the spacebar key back on. When I took it in, I thought all hope was lost but Andrew didnt give up. After many attempts to put it back on, he successfully got my space bar to work again!Thanks so much!

Awesome customer service all around!I took my Mac in about two years ago, still works with no issues.Today took my iPhone in for a new screen (Simply Mac was going to charge about $300 for this service and send my phone away). Mactek called me to let me know it was ready to be picked up about 30 min after dropping it off and only charge a fraction of the cost. And get this they guarantee their work! Andrew is very helpful and knowledgeable, with a great sense of humor. I bought a wireless router from these guys. They set it up in the office before I took it home, and then after I installed it Andrew came over just to be sure everything was working properly. He is awesome!

The folks at MacTek did a awesome job. Great customer service and overall a quick turn around. I brought my MacBook Pro in convinced the hard drive was failing and I would need to get it replaced. Instead it was something completely different. They didnt take advantage of the situation and just agree with me to sell more product or get more installation fees out of me. They were honest and gave me the lowest prices required to fix.

David from MacTek came to our rescue last week; he came out to the offices the very next day and worked away for a couple of days fine-tuning all our Macs, reviewing our internet and bandwidth, and making suggestions to keep us up to date and protected (which we followed to the letter). He had to clean out two of the older iMacs and reinstall Mojave and other software for us. It couldnt have been a better experience. These guys will become our new IT Department!

Took a Mac Computer for repair. Thought it was gone and not worth repairing. Only a loose wire. Had it upgraded. Appreciate the honesty.Also had them replace a battery in I-Phone. MacTek Rocks!!! Theyve assisted me with repairs on my macbook pro and iphone. Charged less than a tenth of what the Mac Store quoted me for repairs and assisted me with apple care when having additional issues - saving me $800 on a my screen. I would recommend going to them first for all repairs/quotes before proceeding with any other service. They are extremely helpful as one tech was explaining to an elderly gentleman how the internet worked and why he was having trouble with viruses on his computer.

I took my Macbook Pro in on a Thursday afternoon with various symptoms including the spinning pinwheel at log on. They were able to diagnose, repair, and upgrade my OS with a 24 hour turn around. Mactek was great when my college daughter needed repairs on your laptop after spilling water on it. She was home for a few days spring break and Mactek made the repairs necessary....getting it back to her in about 24 hours. Another item starting acting up since those initial repairs ,She was home for a quick weekend...took it to Mactek on a Monday at 9am. They had it fixed for her to pick up 2 hours later...and she was able head back to Corvallis in time for her afternoon class! Thank your for helping our very stressed college kid! I had my iphone screen replaced and had continuous issues with it, I was also told that not being able to see the screen when I was wearing my sunglasses was expected. I broke my screen again and had it replaced by Batteries and Bulbs and not only was it less expensive, but it is working perfectly. I can also see my screen, sunglasses or not.

The staff at Mac Tek have always been helpful. I have trusted them to fix, upgrade and help me with technical questions for over 1 year. The last experience I had, my screen turned white and did not work. I had been there for an upgrade about 1 month prior. They not only fixed my computer, they did not charge me since I was just there with my upgrade. Customer service and attention to detail is hard to find these days and Mac Tek has done both. Much aloha!

If it werent for Stephen it would be a one star. Took my mac mini to here early Friday morning and they told me it would be ready Monday. I call Monday and they had no idea what was going on for my computer. Several hours later they call me back and tell me I need a new hard drive. Stephen did explain throughly about my options on a hard drive, which I appreciated and spent the extra money to make my mini preform better. They said it should be done that day. I call back close to closing and they told me it wasnt going to be ready until Tuesday. I said great, I am out of town Tuesday so I will pick up first thing Wednesday. Wednesday morning they tell me it is doing an update to come in an hour later. I come back about an hour then they tell me it will be another 45 min, I asked to wait. I wait 45 min to find out the hd wasnt partitioned nor windows loaded. They then told me to come back tomorrow. As I left I thought forget it I will just take it and do it myself. I call and tell them and they say they will have it ready. I stop by again and they give me my items I had left. When I get home I find out they didnt give me my cord. I AGAIN go back and when I get my cord it was a white dirty cord. When I tell Chris it was a dark grey one he argues with me telling me I was wrong and I bought in a white cord. I told them to forget it as I will just clean the white one. If you are dealing with Stephen then you will be ok, anyone else be careful.
