The Caliber Collision shop in Bellevue is staffed with the most professional people I have ever encountered in this industry. From the moment they accepted my vehicle to the day they returned it, I was treated better than I could have ever expected or imagined. Frequent progress updates and multiple expressions of concern on my satisfaction made a believer of me. When I got my car back, it had been so deeply detailed - it was as clean as the day I bought it - 6 years ago! These guys are the best.

Caliber did a great job on 2 of our cars this year. They made our 2008 Camry look like a brand new car after our teenager had some damage in a parking lot. Bruce was great to work with and kept us in the loop during all phases of the repair process. We got the car back on time, exactly when they promised and they even cleaned the interior!

**Update 2**Updating rating to 5 stars. While I had a briefly frustrating experience, the company did turn that around and make things right, so I want to give them credit for that and give them the benefit of the doubt for the previous experience based on the understanding they must have just been very busy and overwhelmed. They did take my car back in and completed the work under warranty at no cost to me within a reasonable amount of time (they finished the work in 1.5 days vs. the 3 day estimate) and communicated well with me. My car came back very clean inside and out, and they just followed up with a phone call 24 hours after getting my car back to make sure things were all working well. They did not ask me to update this review or even mention it or anything, so know that this isnt at their prodding, but I feel that it is only right to update this since they seized their opportunity to make a customer happy. Thank you!** Update 1**The company called me back within 24 hours of this review and got me scheduled for my warranty work to start next week. Will up this to 4 stars now and complete update after warranty work is complete.**********************************************************************I will update this review once they fix my new/remaining malfunctions.Took my vehicle here due to a fender bender that damaged my front and rear bumpers. The work took a bit longer than expected due to component delays, which was inconvenient for me, but they did keep me informed and helped coordinate for an extended rental car in the meantime. During the first round of repairs, they did keep me updated via email, phone call or text quite well. If I didn’t answer, they left a message.However when I received my vehicle back, there was an issue with my headlight that was causing malfunction warnings. I took the vehicle in and they said they needed to check with the manufacturer whether they could fix this, or if only the manufacturer could fix it. They said they’d call the manufacturer and call me back. I expected this call back within 24 hours, but it never came. After a week of no call back, I called again and was told my advisor was helping another customer and would call me back. I haven’t received a call back again, and the business is closed now for the day. Writing this review because it seemed like customer service was great when it was the initial repair, but haven’t been impressed with the lack of communication and failure to return calls with the follow up repair. Really hoping they call me back tomorrow and get this issue resolved ASAP.

Their service is excellent! Bruce Holeman was my agent, and he took care of everything! He gave me timed updates on my repair status, and did a great quality assurance to make sure the repair is perfect. He was also very informative in explaining the procedures, the estimated time, and all billing informations. I definitely recommend this place!My story was that there were some scratches on my front bumper, and they changed the bumper and calibrated it to like like a new car

All the paperwork was available online and an appointment promptly set. Love the digital world! All workers were pleasant to deal with, especially Bruce Holeman who expertly explained the process and kept in touch 3 times a week with updates. They took great care to keep everything sanitized. I also appreciated the that the car rental was seamless - the car was brought right to the Caliber shop and picked up from there as well. The car looks great and is driving well. Outstanding! Bruce was my guy! He was assigned to my car. During the winter wind storms a tree fell on my car and caused quite a bit of damage. Bruce was very knowledgeable and considerate when it came to the repairs of my vehicle. His continuous follow-up was the best I have ever had in customer service situation. Very pleased! He let me know each step of the way way what condition my vehicle was in. When I dropped my car off it had pine needles and dirt not only on the exterior but on the interior as well. Bruce Holeman was quite professional with me. He kept me up to date every step of the way so that I was aware of what was happening almost every day. As a bonus he insured that the bumper put back on my car was one that fit right and had the first one sent back because of inferior quality. While this added time, that was quite all right with me as I will have to live with it for a long time, I am happy he took the time to make sure my car was done right.

I had gotten into an accident prior to relocating to a state without snow, (a parting shot I guess). My apt lease was terminated, and I was forced to stay in an airbnb and delay relocation which caused many other expenses. They moved heaven and earth to get me through ahead of schedule and they were 12 days ahead of estimate. It was amazing. Great communication, support, and professionalism. Definitely recommend.

Caliber Collision ( Bellevue location) was extremely great business to work with. I mainly worked with receptionist (forgot her name) and Bruce, both were great. Bruce initiated the communication and patiently answer all my questions and explain the entire process. Bruce is extremely knowledge and professional. He provided repair updates almost everyday not just schedule but also technical details such as structural damage assessment and which parts need to replaced. At the time of pickup, he walk me through about the work performed and guaranteed free service if anything go wrong about the work they performed.I strongly recommend this location ( I went to 2 other locations but did not found them accommodative and friendly) if you want peace of mind, professional and quality service.Thank you Bruce and Caliber Bellevue !

I had a great experience at the Shop after my car had couple of scratches and was sent to the shop by my insurance. I came in for repairs and was expecting a huge bill, but I ended up paying nothing.The service supervisor was very sweet and personable. He seemed very honest and told me not to get body work done as its not required and the issue can be taken care by polishing it self. I have never seen a service being so honest and dedicated on saving money for customers. They polished my car with no charge and in 30 min.They did a great job, the outside looks fantastic.

Caliber Bellevue has been fantastic, and they have come through on their lifetime warrantee! I first them do some work on my Toyota Yaris back in 2016 after a highway 3-car accident where the car was sandwiched between two cars. They had to do repair work both in front and the back and I had no issues since. However a year ago, i.e., 2020, I noticed a rain water leak in my car, which perhaps could have been due to their work back in 2016, so I went back to them more than four years later. Caliber Bellevue spared no effort investigating the leak, changing some old gaskets and re-testing. They were thorough. In the end, it was not clear whether the leak was caused by their original work or general aging of the car, but nevertheless they came through on their warrantee and fixed it and their work was great. They were also cordial and responsive the 2nd time through as well, despite the fact that it was completely on them. So hats off to Caliber!

I finally have time to write a bad review. I know I am late and should not do this only after 5 months of the repair, but finally I have time.I ran into a hit and run incident and was introduced to this place by the insurance company. I ended up getting my car back with covers not in the right place and not aligned. Everyone asked me to file a complaint, but at that time I was held up by busy work.Do not recommend this place. I can no longer find the review email from the insurance company. If I could find that, I would file a complaint over there too.

This is my 3rd time to get repair done with Caliber for different accidents in the last one year. Every time I notice something or the other is either not working or incomplete. This particular instance, the door stopped opening on the passenger side. I had to take it back only to find out that it was from the previous repair work. The car wasnt cleaned this second time. The paint on the wheel did not match the right color. Overall, feels shoddy!

I had two concerns after driving away with my newly repaired vehicle. I was also worried with the pandemic and all considering, a repair shop could ignore my concerns and leave me to deal with the minor issue on my own. After sharing concerns I had with my repair, the general manager reached out to me personally to address my problem. Ill start out by saying, the repairs themselves appear just fine and Ive had no issue with the car since getting it back. The primary reason for this review is because I had a crate of emergency roadside equipment in the trunk that was missing when I went to pick up my vehicle. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, and would like to think that a) nothing in that kit is unique or something they dont already have ready access to in the shop and b) it was an honest mistake, and the crate was removed to allow for a repair and forgotten somewhere. However the staffs handling of the issue failed to diffuse the issue and instead inspired a lack of confidence.When I brought this to the attention of the staff, I was first told, That shouldnt be, there was no reason for them to go into the trunk, so the trunk shouldnt have been touched. They had also left water bottles and a tarp from the trunk in the back seat, so they had clearly gone into the trunk for one reason or another. When this was pointed out, the response then changed to, Well, we told you to take everything out of your vehicle. Ok, fair enough, duly warned. Fool me once? Shame on me. I wont be fooled again. If the companys first response to the customer is to say, well we warned you, its your fault rather than seek a means to make amends or win back the customers trust and confidence, it speaks volumes to the integrity of that company.There has since been no follow up on the missing crate, other than multiple requests to post a customer review. Well, a review was requested and now provided.

I sent in my car for a repair, the customer service was great while I was there in the store. But all the phone calls follow up experience were bad, they put the wrong contact person, number, when I told them to fix it like twice. They would just call me back with the same issue again and again. But the repair was nice, I was so happy when I picked it up yesterday. But today, I just found out that my light on the rear is not working because of their repair... I don’t know what they have done for my painting repair but my light isn’t working.. hmmmm... I’m not sure I sent in my car for a repair or for more damage..

Progressive sent us there to repair a bumper.As per December 26th Caliber Collision Bellevue confirmed the the car is ready and checked. But there was a gap between the body of the car and a bumper;a headlight partially covered with glue,part of plastic cheeped when the worker touched it. When we sent the car to the shop there were no issues with the headlight!!!;no license plate attached to the car.We waited another week. Meanwhile we were told by Robert theyd ordered a new bumper cover.January 3rd. We got a call about the car readiness. We are busy people so I asked if our plate licence had been attached,we cant wait. When we arrived the only problem theyd fixed was a headlight. As for a gap issue Dan said they havent found a bumper (we were told by Rob it was arriving earlier?!?). And then they brought a car back to garage and fixed everything right away in less than 10min. Dan said they have 90 cars waiting to be fixed. But the insurance paid off everything why should I wait for the prepaid issues to be fixed? The quality controllers dont do their work at all! They charged $80 for quality control and both times nothing was done!

Beware! They will rob you on technicality when given the chance and their technicians are extremely sloppy.I took my red Chevrolet Volt to Abra after it was a victim of a parking lot hit and run. At first, everything was smooth and they even hailed me a rental car. However, when I returned after nearly 3 weeks of repair is when I found out the true side of this business. First, I found that the wiring for my backup camera was disconnected and it didnt turn on. I had to wait another 45 minutes for it to be reconnected. While I typically would not make a fuss, this was just the beginning of these technicians messing up. When I drove off the lot, I noticed my heater wasnt producing consistent heat. Only when the generator was running would I get any heat off the block. I took the car back and immediately started getting push back. First, Abra wanted to make it seem like they were being nice by having a mechanic check out the issue even though this mechanical failure happened while my car was in their possession. In addition, Abra admitted they had to disconnect my hybrid drive to repair the rear bumper damage. This means their technicians were accessing the internal wiring and electrical components of my car. So, when they came back to me with the news that a coolant valve had failed, it is not a stretch to understand that improper installation or negligence when reconnecting the wiring can cause a short in components like the coolant valve. Abra denied any responsibility claiming that, This part couldve been failing before I brought the car in (it wasnt) and since the repair involved the bumper, there is no way they could be responsible for the coolant valve. This rationale is absurd because: A) The heater worked just fine before I brought the car in and B) I never saw, touched nor drove my car while it was being repaired. Meaning the only way this part failed was from the hands of Abra and no one else. When I took the car to a Chevrolet dealership, they provided the diagnoses that the coolant pump (not valve as said by Abra) failed and there was evidence of an electrical short to the component. The reality is, the part failed when my car was in Abras possession and their technicians made numerous mistakes regarding the electrical components of my car. While the customer service was friendly, the incompetency of the technicians and the blatant lying to get out of responsibility was a form of legal theft.Abra is to be avoided at all costs. They are hungry for money and will skimp responsibility to shaft you simply because their techs dont care about the quality of their work.

I have to say I definitely had a five-star experience here. They did a good thorough check of my car to check for any damage. The part they ordered fit perfectly and looks good on my car. I had to get us a passenger door mirror replaced and they have to process done in less than an hour. Based upon my experience I would recommend this place to anyone.

Not sure about their other auto body services, but I would imagine they being responsible for their customers with this attitude!

I was somewhat reluctant based off some of the mixed reviews.They did an excellent job keeping me up to date with the repair process. Part of the repair included fixing a custom Fiberglass bumper. Not all shops want to deal with that.Dion won me over with his great service. They even showed me a spot that wasnt quite repaired properly from a previous repair.They have won me over as a customer. I will be using them again in the future if I need body repairs.

I brought my mazda in via the insurance company and when I got my car back, they stole money and gems from my vehicle. They ransacked all my compartments and gave my car back with all my stuff all over the vehicle and trunk.I have just sent an email to my insurance provider and will be calling the police latet in the day.This professional company is the equivalent to a dateline episode.I am getting my justice. Believe me.Update: I have filed felony theft charges with Bellevue Police Department, which has been recently accepted.I firmly expect my items to be returned and the responsible party to be fully prosecuted.The responsible members also went through my owners manual looking for what I assume is private information.Thanks Progressive!

My experience with Abra was not good. I was asked to go there for a repair by Progressive after a Progressive insured driver rear-ended my vehicle. The visible damages were minor and they were all on the rear bumper. I initially thought it will be a fairly straightforward and quick repair.The biggest disappointment was the communications. After dropping off the vehicle I had to call 4 times in the first two days to know if the assessment was done. The staff kept saying I will be contacted when it is done. However, on the 4th call they said I should have received an email on the day I dropped it off. I then discovered they made a typo with my email address.For a seemingly easy repair they estimated 12 days for the job and a lot of money! Since I am not an expert and Progressive obviously accepted their quote I did not bother much about the cost though was definitely surprised to see the number.On the day I dropped off I wanted to get another damage repaired. This was completely unrelated to the accident. I wanted to get it done as a separate repair work and pay for it myself. I was told by the service advisor that they will contact me with a separate estimate but was never contacted about it. In the 4 calls I made I tried to reach the advisor to talk about it and left messages with the call receivers but the advisor never got back to me. I am still not sure why they did not want an additional business from me. It was yet another easy repair as told by the advisor himself when I was dropping off my vehicle.On the 12th day I was waiting for a call from them about the status of my repair but I did not receive any. I called on the 13th day. The person who received my call was a little bit annoyed that I called about picking up my vehicle even though I wasnt told by them that the repair is done. However, he himself was surprised to find that the repair was done and I was not contacted about picking it up.About the repair: I am hoping the repair was done well. I dont know how it is done behind the bumper, according to the estimate there were a lot of work done there for sure. However, there is a clearly visible gap between the new bumper and an adjacent panel. I did not complain about it because I did not want to deal with them again.

Poor business. Walked in for an estimate to repair a fuel filler door. I was told someone had an appt already scheduled and wasn’t there yet. I was told to come back an 1 hour. They could have easily taken me and helped me until the customer showed up. I had three other estimates and it took 10 mins. Apparently they would rather turn away a customer in person and wait for someone that isn’t there yet. I understand the idea of an appt. even though it is not mentioned. I won’t go here ever again. Trust the reviews.

Took the Stress out of being in a car accident. Between my insurance company (Ameriprise) and Precision Collision, all the stress was taken out of having a car accident. Precision was courteous, clear and helpful. I was able to return my rental car to their location so I didnt even have to ask for a ride. My car looks great.

This is quite literally been the worst experience of any auto body shop i’ve ever experienced. Literally take you car anywhere but here. They are actual liars. Gabby lied to me the entire time they had my car. She told me my car was just being wrapped up & i would never hear back. Then she asked me for my spare key under the pretense that Lexus was coming to reprogram my keys & my car would be finished that evening! in all reality my car was at another location- not starting. which they claim has NOTHING to do with them! i didnt find this out until weeks later!!!!! they never looked under the hood. they replaced my bumper & sent me off after a month of having my car. my car was smoking before i even got home!!! they claimed they would then take over payment on my rental, as they did not address anything under the hood & come to find out now they will only cover $20 a day for an economy car. i do not drive an economy car. so they stuck me with another $1700 bill on top of $1635 they claim is not their doing for the sensor going out. I saw on the e mails of lies she was ccing 2 people which im assuming are her boss. so they were in on it, too. have your uncles best friend fix your car before you take it to these crooks. i wouldnt even give them 1 star but 0 isnt an option

Will not stand behind work voluntarily-Everyone should double check all work done at Abra- Thank goodness insurance company forces them to take care of it.Took my car to Abra, they messed it up several times, finally I took it home. I have had nothing but trouble since. When the car was examined by a different shop, they found additional damage. Typical to Abra, they gave me the run around, wont even promise to take care of me if it is their fault (insurance company will decide) and delays until pushed into a corner. NEVER go to Abra.

I would strongly recommend to stay away from this shop if at all possible.A co-worker suggested I go there, but I should have checked the Google reviews first.The shop has had my vehicle there 4 times and they have not fixed it yet. Each of the 4 times they told me the vehicle was complete, when it wasnt. The 1st time they installed the wrong proximity sensors that were not flush with the bumper (could see the retainer clips) and tried to send me home with them like that. When I told them to fix it, they cracked the paint and got me a rental because they had to re-paint the bumper.The 2nd time they told me the vehicle was ready, there were paint defects near the sensor. They said they will need to polish it out.The 3rd time after polishing it they called and said the vehicle was complete. They delivered it to my office and the defects were still there.The 4th time they replaced the bumper and repainted it. Called me and told me it was complete and ready for pickup. When I picked it up the brand new bumper had 25-30 clearly visible defects or bumps all over the bumper, including a hair trapped under the clear coat. Now they say they need to polish it out.Bottom line, this shop has absolutely no quality check process in place. Their estimators dont tell the customers the truth. This shop doesnt even have good customer service. I had to call to get updates myself. Even when the District Manager got involved after the 3rd time, they still did not repair the bumper properly. The only nice person there is Kim, the receptionist.The damaged bumper looked better than the one fixed by Abra.

Flat out POOR.On the recommendation of our insurance company, we took the car there for repair, what we were told will take 4 days turned out to be 2 weeks. They never called us about the delays, we had to find out ourselves by calling to see if the car is ready for pick up. Finally we were notified that the repair will be done on Friday and they will call to confirm what time. I got a voice mail on Friday at 4:30 pm to say it was ready and the shop closes at 5:30. I called them back at 4:50 pm to say that it was too late to arrange for a ride over, we will pick up the car on Sat. No one at the business answered the call & went straight to voice mail, so I left a message.When we arrived at the shop on Sat, we were told we cannot pick up the car because it had to be prearranged!!! I asked what do they considered the message Id left on Friday, they said I left my message after business hours. I told them it was before 5 pm, cell phones registered all call time. I told the guy I was not given a chance to talk to anyone, the call went straight to voice mail in which Id left a message. I was not aware that I need to call back to find out if their company checked their voice mail. We all had to return on Monday to pick up the vehicle.This is unacceptable, we were left very frustrated & totally dissatisfied with the overall lack of service. Avoid this place!

I saw men fooling around in the office and not doing their jobs. Me and my family had a very hard time finding Abra, there was no sign anywere. Weve asked one of employees why there was no sign and he got so rude about it. Abra is so greedy and lazy, they would rather trash evey car instead of fixing them just for them to save money. I really hope they go out of business soon, for the best.

After a fender bender that crushed the left rear corner of my bumper, shattered the light housing, and burned out the turn signal lamp my insurance worked with me to get an appointment at ABRA. The repairs were straightforward. Unfortunately, over the course of the work ABRA found pre-existing body work from before my ownership of the car. The paint was beginning to flake off in pieces the size of your palm due to shoddy patchwork. The risk was that if left unchecked, the paint would likely expose bare metal over time.These repairs took place in December, just a couple weeks before I was to leave the state to visit family. What should have been four days of repairs was stretched due to the additional work that was needed and a delay in contacting insurance regarding the new development. However, ABRAs performance throughout was exceptional.As soon as the shop found the old damage, ABRA Bellevues general manager Raymond took it upon himself to update me as to the progress of the repairs. I spoke to him about my coming trip, and Raymond worked with his team to finish my car as quickly as possible. There wasnt much time, but ABRA worked hard and managed to finish my car before I had to leave. The repairs are completely satisfactory and as a courtesy, Raymond had my car put through detailing and cleaned the entire interior; even the water spots on the inside windshield that I hadnt gotten around to cleaning yet.Despite complications that arose from prior damage, ABRA made sure my repairs were done on time. They went above and beyond to keep me informed, and cleaned my car inside and out. I am completely satisfied with my experience. I would use them again, though hopefully I wont need to, and I would certainly recommend them.
