I have stayed a few times and this time really stuck out for me and my family the greet from front desk warm and inviting. The rooms were very clean and the house keeping supervisor Shelby helped us out all weekend with no hesitation. Everyone smiling and very professional awesome staffing I will be returning.

The accommodations are not great. The pool was closed down due to ongoing mechanical issues. Kids were disappointed. We reserved a king sized suite for our family of four, assuming our school aged kids would be able to sleep on the fold out sofa. But the fold old sofa was smaller than a twin mattress (I was told its a cot sized mattress). The hotel no longer offers roll away beds, so we had to buy an air mattress for one of my children to sleep on. The fire alarm also malfunctioned in the middle of the night. We evacuated, and we were told by the hotel staff that, it too, was a mechanical problem. It took the staff at least 15 minutes to figure out how to turn it off. Needless to say, we didnt have a great stay. The next time I am in the area, I will choose a different hotel.

Location was great! The Showtime channel kept buffering was one of three small complaints.... Room & breakfast was good. They did not have individual breakfast drinks.... They had cups where you pour the juice and milk.... Little noisy in the hallways but it was a cool night overall.. We enjoyed our stay...

Positive: Clean WHITE beddings and towels!!! Coffee pot in the room. Staff was friendly and polite, as well as accommodating with extra coffee and bath supplies.

I think the standards of Courtyard have come down in recent years. There was a dirty towel behind the refrigerator, paint peeling on the bathroom ceiling, the screen door had holes and didnt sit in the track, old creaky mattress and the pool was closed indefinitely due to roof leaks caused by guests pitching their cigarette butts out on the roof. Also, Housekeeping staff woke me up at 7am on Sunday (the last day of my reservation) because they thought my room was vacant. I reported it to the front desk, but it shouldnt have happened.Staff was friendly and courteous. Hotel was quiet. King room had modern decor, and was spacious. I didnt have a balcony but the screen door opened to the roof. Seems like there might be a liability issue there. Otherwise, I felt safe and secure.I used to love Courtyard Marriott and its usually the only hotel I will stay in when I travel but Im beginning to think they might be overpriced for what you get.

Positive: The location and the room was nice. Negative: The Starbucks needs to be opened more then once a day.

The customer service was nice. The rooms were spacious and had a decent view. We had to switch rooms because the headboard and lamps were covered in dust and my wife has a bad dust allergy. She couldn’t sleep the whole night due to eye irritation and sneezing. We didn’t even think to check the headboard until I looked and seen it COVERED. The other BIG issue I have that will prevent me from staying here again, is the $100 a night incidental fee. I know there’s usually a deposit for things like that, but $100 a NIGHT on top of the money you already paid to stay there? It’s excessive, especially when there isn’t any other amenities that you could use, and there isn’t much to do around that area. I heard a couple literallyUpset because they booked for 3 days, but didn’t have an additional $300 and had to cancel and couldn’t get a refund because it was a same day cancellation. I understand it was because there were a lot of hotel parties, so you’re adding a deposit, but $100 a day is almost equal to staying in two hotels at once. This policy should definitely be looked over.

It was okay the hallway air was up to high bed to soft should being able to make option if you want to soft bed or hard one complimentary breakfast okay other than that it was a pleasure to stay there

She was very kind to adjust the room for us, such that we were provided a suite that was very quiet, despite a wedding and a hockey team that occupied the hotel during our stay. Also, the two ladies that provide the breakfast are very friendly and kind. These three individuals are an excellent team and outstanding representatives of your corporation. Helpful staff but pool closed

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay at this hotel. We were greeted warmly and with a smile, the staff is very professional and friendly. Everybody made us very welcome. I have over a 1,000 hotel nights at Marriott hotels but this hotel stands out for excellence, professionalism and friendliness. Thank you for such a great experience.

The Marriott Courtyard Cleveland Beachwood has by far been the Best and friendliest staff Ive ever experienced in all of my Marriott stays. Everyone goes out of their way and steps up to the plate with a smile and always having a positive attitude...willing to go that Extra mile. Everyone makes me feel right at home. Anytime you have the GM (Nick) & Assistant GM (Terri) out in the parking lot on a snowy morning helping customers scrape and brush off snow from their cars (Me Included), that there speaks for itself. Im always greeted at check-in by Ledo ( A wonderful lady ), and some other young man..I forget his name..but both great. Cant leave out honorable mentions from the Bistro in the mornings ( Michelle & Desiaha )..what a great team, always having a great and positive attitude. They know exactly what I always have for breakfast ..Love Them !! :-) And in the evenings in the Bistro, Annie and the other girl always have a positive attitude as well. Bottom line => FANTASTIC TEAM !! All of you and the rest of the staff Im sure.. Great leadership Nick & Terri !! A Leader is One who Knows The Way, Goes the Way and Shows the Way....Thats what I see here :-)

Great stay with my 3 year old granddaughter after a visit to Zoo. Room was so large and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our 2nd floor room had a view of the courtyard below and it was so relaxing. Very clean room. Breakfast was very good with great healthy food selections. Only negative was there wasn’t any real kids menu items to choose from. Server tried to accommodate with alternatives. Very nice stay though. Pool was clean but a little small.

The bed was firm and very comfortable. Everything was very clean and it made my family and I able to relax. The staff was very kind. The pool is fairly small, but it was fine for my 4 yr old. The air conditioning worked wonderfully and cooled the room off quickly. I was very pleased with this stay. It was a good value for a very nice hotel! We did not dine in the hotel, but the dining area was very clean!

Marriott makes claims about safety during covid-19. I got to the courtyard Beachwood hotel near Cleveland and the lobby was full with people not wearing masks. The staff didn’t even ask them to get a mask and wear it. Here’s what they say - but it’s not what they do. Visiting my daughter who is recovering after 25 days with covid-19. VERY disappointing. I’m asking for a refund and looking for another hotel.

I found my stay at the Courtyard Beachwood to be a very pleasant experience. It is conveniently located right off the highway which made it easy to get to other parts of the Cleveland area or to the eastern part of the city. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I felt welcomed from the time I went to the registration desk. My room was ideal for getting work done with a large work desk. I am a dialysis patient (PD) and used my machine without difficulty. I will certainly stay here on my next trip to Cleveland.

Celebrating a major Birthday usually requires a lot of planning, details and making sure all the moving parts were in sync. Not here. You had NOTHING to worry about. All of the employees at this location took it upon themselves to know about the birthday party, know whose birthday it was, greeted me the whole week with birthday wishes up until the actual day and then step up when it came to service during the party. Were I to do it again? Absolutely. #60 was a huge success. Coming from across the country to get this party on and for it to go off without a hitch, with raving compliments on the food? This is where I will be staying each time I come back to Cleveland.

I like the hotel. Wish there was like juice serving or maybe a free continental breakfast. Wheeeeeeeeee.

The staff at his hotel is awesome. I liked the staff on duty at my check-in which was a late check in, and brief and to the point. I got checked in, I went to sleep. And I really loved the morning staff on duty when I checked out two days later. There were three super nice ladies working on the morning of my check out; one at the front desk and two at the breakfast area. They all were so nice to me. I grabbed a light breakfast and was chatting with them for a few minutes while my car warmed up. They made my entire day. So polite and friendly! I just loved them. Honestly, with nice staff like that, I will definitely come back again. All of the staff on my check in and my check out days made me feel very much at home.

I stayed at the Beachwood Courtyard for over thirty days, and was made to feel at home by the team working throughout the hotel. From front desk staff, to cafe and housekeeping, they all treated me well and provided excellent service. Highly recommended!

Never no one at desk

Always a pleasure staying here. The whole staff is Excellent and make you feel at home. In the morning my breakfast is excellent and my Vanilla Lattes. Hmmmmm.

Immaculate, quiet and comfortable hotel with all of the amenities I look for. Friendly, helpful hotel staff cheerfully accommodated special requests. Convenient Bistro adjacent to lobby. Easy access to freeway. Near restaurants and local businesses.

Overall good hotel for short stay. Good service. Friendly, accommodating staff that went out of thier way for me. Could use a bigger gym. Breakfast items were good. Could use a bigger selection on dinner menu.

My stay at Marriott Courtyard Beachwood was great. The room was clean as were the common areas of the hotel. Lounge area was nice, food options smelled great though I didnt sample. Market place allows for late night snacking. Pool, fitness room available. I appreciated the complimentary bottle of water in the room. Temp was a little cold but I didnt know how to work the thermostat- so this was likely user error. Overall, recommend but not necessarily for leisure or family time, more for business

Overall this was the best experience my wife and I have had staying at a hotel/motel in our 56 year of marriage. The staff was the most helpful and pleasant, and the Courtyard Cleveland Beachwood was extremely clean and well appointed. We used some of our Marriott/Starwoods points for the stay.

This location was great for me to stay for 2 nights. The staff(Rasheed) greeted me by name from check in until check out! He always made sure I was enjoying myself and didn’t have any problems! Kristen was another great staff member who answered by questions in a timely and professional manner! The cleaning staff were very nice and made sure I had everything I needed! Thank you guys for a great stay!!

Clean updated rooms and friendly staff

When I walked in my room I was very much satisfied. New updated furniture for sure.Clean & very very beautiful indeed.The only thing they dont have is complimentary breakfast. So I gave it 4 stars because of that.

Great property and staff. I came for an Indians game and drove to the Rapid Transit station at Farnsleigh(about 10 min away). Convenient to Pinecrest SHopping Center (great restaurants) and in a pleasant location. Highly Recommended

This hotel is very clean, comfortable, and luxurious. The rooms are very spacious. We had adjoining rooms (2 Q an 1 K with sofa) and we were still able to fit a roll-away bed and a crib. The layout was ideal for a couple families putting kids to bed in one room and socializing in the other. The linens, and even the comforters, were clean and well-kept. The maid service was lovely.My only criticisms are minor: the beds were a little too soft for my taste, but they did have a lot of pillows. The internet worked great once you could get it to connect, but the login on mobile phones was tricky. One room had a shower and the other a tub, so that worked out great, if the tub drain would seal just a bit more.We did use the restaurant for dinner for the kids, which was awesome. And we used it every morning for coffee. The kids swam in the warm indoor pool, and the boys used the weight room.Thanks for a memorable stay!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and realized this location had been remodeled. Very up to date. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will be back again.

From check in to check out everyone was fabulous. Rooms are modern and very clean, computers accessible, internet fast, plenty of parking, the Bistro has nice choices, really good decaf in the room, pool great to lounge in and exercise equipment well kept. Michelle at the Bistro in the morning really started our day off right with a smile and being incredibly helpful and so friendly. Housekeeper Tamara is a true gem. She was so enthusiastic about helping any way she could, such a kind, sweet and truly good person. In the evening we had the great pleasure of the company of Jolisa (sp?). This young lady is amazing. She showed so much interest in all of us and made us feel like part of the Marriott family. You should be proud of these ladies and the superior work they do for Marriott and all of the lucky guests who may interact with them. Overall, you helped make our trip to Cleveland for the 2017 Junior Gold Bowling Tournament a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Thank you!

Facility personnel were very warm and welcoming. Facility itself was clean and well maintained. Room was large and comfortable with all required amenities.

Upon checking in we were greeted by a police officer behind the counter and no hotel staff and a large gathering of people partying in the lobby. When the clerk finally arrived he was pleasant enough but no apologies for the atmosphere. It ended up being the parent of a youth hockey team celebrating a victory but the atmosphere seemed more at home in a rowdy bar. The room was clean and acceptable but dingy and old. If forced to stay in the area again would definitely pick one of the other hotels of many in the immediate area.

Pros: Staff is best I have experienced. Knew what to do, easy to communicate with. Good location for where I needed to be. Appearance of rooms is nice, as is size and layout of room. Lobby area open and welcoming layout. Rooms are clean. Ample parking lot in clean neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shopping for everyday staples.Cons: Fitness Center is very small - only two people can fit and little equipment. Had trouble with boarding pass computer, had to use front desk. TV would not shut off so had to unplug. AC units are wall units and are noisy when kick on - recommend upgrading to quieter, updated units.

It had a very clean room with comfortable beds with very few cosmetic like a past leaking ceiling stain. Staff was excellent very nice and courteous and knowledgeable. The gym is small but has adequate exercise equipment in like new conditions. Pool is also small not good for laps but relaxing and family fun is great. Location is also great close to highway and stores and restaurants.

Not impressed. Reserved King bed, suite, with balcony; got a double queen room with no balcony.In addition, due to medical issues, I did not sleep most of the night. I finally fell asleep around 6:30, to be woken up by housekeeping at 8:30! I had not checked out yet, and stay was only for one night.It is conveniently located. But due to above issues and the uncomfortable bed and room in general, I would not recommend this hotel.

If you want a suspicious body fluid stain on the sofa in your room, plus the worse hamburger ever at the lobby cafe ( and salad with wilted lettuce) then stay at this hotel. We wont again. Marriott normally dues better than this!

The experience that was most impressive for us was how the Marriott corporation handled a scheduling problem for us. We learned 2 days before our initial travel that we had the wrong date. We had reserved a Marriott hotel property using points. We needed to move the reservation ahead one week to make it to town for the new travel date. The original hotel was unable to move the reservation because it was reserved with points. They referred us to the Marriott Reward center for assistance. The Marriott Reward assistant was fabulous!!! She made all the changes we needed while I was on the phone. Those changes included moving us to another Marriott hotel property because the first hotel had no openings for the weekend of our new travel date and cancelling the reservation at the old location. Even though the process took almost a half an hour (computer issues) -- I appreciated the patience of the Marriott assistant who ensured that we could still use our points and for making sure that all the logistics were completed appropriately. She was an angel!!! Additionally, we were greeted cheerfully at the new Marriott hotel property. The Hotel was clean, the room was lovely, the staff pleasant, and our overall stay was definitely satisfactory. I like being able to count on the Marriott whenever we travel.

Staff was rude. Asked why we needed so many towels like it was coming out of their paychecks. Maybe if they kept the pool stocked with towels then we would not need to use the ones in our room then request more for showers. Also, they advertise Starbucks in the lobby but when asked if they accepted gift cards they laughed in our faces like we were stupid. Clearly there is a big Starbucks sign in front of your coffee shop which makes it look like you are a Starbucks shop. Im sure we are not the first to asks this question. Definitely wont be back.

The entire team at the Courtyard in Beachwood did an exceptional job to make me feel at home. The facilities are modern and clean, the location is good, but the real standout is the outstanding service provided by the entire team.

The air conditioning unit was VERY loud. This made sleep unobtainable for my family unless it was off, which left us hot. Unfortunately, we arrived to late to set the temp to a lower temp and leave then return to turn the unit off and go to sleep comfortably. But we were in and out, just traveling through. Staff was friendly enough and the place was clean enough.

3 day stay..This hotel is nice, centrally located. We went various places, travel was quick since the highway was literally down the street. Close to restaurants, Bob Evans directly across the street. Red Robin, Bahama Breeze walking distance. Décor was very nice, King room was a decent size couch was nice and comfortable. Nice to be able to stand on balcony and chat. Bed was too soft, felt like we were sinking! Some may like it, but it was a Con for us. The pillows I believe were feather, I saw that you can choose foam or feather, didnt realize that until the last day. Room was cleaned daily.The alarm went off twice one night, not sure if someone hit it by accident, but it was annoying and hard to go back to sleepOverall it was good, if your going with your mate, itll be great any way right!Wed stay again....

Very nice, quiet easily accessible hotel few minutes walk from a recently built shopping center. Also lots of good restaurants around. The property is neat and highly recommendable.

Rooms not great. But as tired as we were we would have slept on the floor. We never make coffee in the room because of germs. Should offer complement coffee, danishes and juice or water in the lobby. Giving 2 stars. Pillows were nice and cofy

Our bartender/waitress, Jalesa, was awesome. She definitely knows customer service and went the extra mile. We were a travel softball team and she took care of our girls. She made them a sign in the morning, wishing them good luck and the girls still talk about it. They are already talking about staying there again next year and seeing their honorary coachj!!.Highly recommended.

My stay was horrible the front desk lady LEDA very rude an disrespectful no greeting she was using every excuse to try an not check me in getting smart during check in she walks pass you an don’t speak I will never stay there again as long as she works there the evening staff is awesome the in the bistro Wednesday night was wonderful I went to breakfast across the street this LEDA was there again this morning looked an my family an I walk past an she still didn’t speak once again VERY RUDE

Ive stayed at many Marriotts - this was by far the worst. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower rod was falling off, the curtain didnt stay closed, the floor of the shower was sloped toward the middle like a v. The shower head was too low, so my 60 frame had to contort to wash my hair. There was hair on the ceiling of the bathroom from past guests and the towels smelled heavily of chlorine. There are other hotels near this one, so I recommend choosing another.

Friendly staff, very nice large room. Property clean and welcoming. Very comfortable bed. Only real negative is that the hotel charges for internet streaming unless you are of a certain level of member.

Nice, large rooms. Bit dated but clean. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Decent pool and gym for hotel size. Really nice outdoor fire pit is a pleasant surprise.

Great stay in a very nice hotel. Loving the Courtyard brand lately. The bistro is convenient, but wasnt always staffed effectively.
