Nothing but the best with this company. Had a technician who came to my home. I work from home and was having problems getting things working correctly. He took the time to help me make sure every thing was hooked up correctly and then troubleshooted with me until the problem was solved. He also educated me on a 24/7 full service tech service they offered for people working from home and helped me get that added to my account. In all my years have never had a technician ever go to that kind of lengths. It was not just about Cox equipment. He stayed till everything both my things and the cox equipment was working. True life saver.

I picked up modem from Cox at Baton Rouge location to self install but was unable to do so. I never received WiFi service but was billed for it. I returned the modem to store. Called Cox at number obtained online and technically support came and found my home couldn’t receive a signal until he connected a wire in my attic. Therefore I shouldn’t be billed for WiFi I never received.

The moment I walked in, 4 floor representatives greeted me and were so inviting!! Dayna then said follow me. She assisted me and 1st made corrections to my address as some how customer service over the phone had it wrong. Amber and I believe the other lady was April, displayed team work by assisting Dayna whenever she had questions.I wish I would have went to the store first before calling on the phone because I was on the line for 58 minutes and at the store the process was less than 20 minutes including the time it took her to fix the errors from the telephone representative.I was originally told over the phone by both Ricky and Mark that the equipment would need to be shipped and it would be 2 days before arrival, but by going in person the Cox store had everything I needed!From start to finish, the store was clean, organized, with plenty of product to meet the customers needs and the team welcomed you with a smile. The Baton Rouge police officer was also friendly and greeted me.I was impressed by the Cox Store experience!!

The employees in the Cox Store on Florida and Lobdell are the BEST! Those employees have the absolute best CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. They are friendly, courteous, very professional and knowledgeable! The line was long but I was in and out after being helped and all my questions answered.

Great place to visit. Always nice, neat and clean on the inside. Plenty of help from Customer Service as soon as walk in the door until finish. Its a full service Cox Center offering a lot to the community. Paying bill and dealing with equipment are easy as pie.

Not even worth the “1” star...Service for Internet is horrible. I tried to get someone to help me & it took me to go thru 3 people to help me. Then I was told I can use there hotspot & I could never get hooked to it. Called back & was told I have to pay for it..But prior to that, I was told it was free to connect..Then I was told I had to pay $75 dollars for a tech to come out & if they saw it was something more of an issue, I can get charged more. So basically you can get charged for “Mother Nature” or something wrong on there end.I was without service for “3” days & when I called to asked can I get some kind of compensation for the days lost...I was told that I couldn’t because a tech had to come out..Definitely the worst service ever & I’m definitely looking for other service now!! Great job Cox...Way to keep your customers satisfied...

Update - Even after providing return receipt, he was promised it would be taken care of. But surprise.... 1 year last its on his credit. This is terrible.The associates in the store are wonderful. They are all very pleasant and have great customer service. They really get the customers in and out relatively quickly. I went in to return some equipment for my friend. I returned everything and was given a small paper receipt showing that it was returned. That was over 5 months ago. My friend just received a letter in the mail saying he owes them for equipment. He will provide proof that it was returned but He shouldnt have to do that. This should be a systematic process to eliminate these errors.

I had Cox for a little over a year. I had packet loss issues almost daily. I tried contacting them 3 times to get it fixed but they always gave me the runaround every single time and tried to get me to buy their equipment (mine is still completely functional). The rare times that it was working smoothly, I did have very fast speeds. I switched to Eatel about a month ago and couldnt be happier..it was like getting relief from one of my biggest headaches. Choose Cox at your own risk..

If you want to move somewhere make sure they dont have a contract with cox. You will pay entirely too much and your internet will be out or too slow to use more often than not. I have never seen a bigger joke of a company. Extremely dissatisfied

I have had them for a little over a year. I switched from at&t and I have to say my Internet is 3 times faster than what it was and my bill is about the same. So far I have only had one problem with them, they ran my credit and somehow they made a mistake and needed to run it again. But besides that they are pretty good I would recommend them to all of my friends who want great Internet and acceptable customer service.

The owner here is so nice- we came very late (midnight?!), driving a few hours from the airport after our flight landed, and the owner waited for us, whereas most places would likely have closed. The room itself was very tidy and nice- Id have liked to stay there longer. The town is adorable.

My Bandwidth is fine, and using my own equipment. My issue is with a data limits on internet that were never discussed at the time of getting the service.. I’ve always bragged about cox’s service being better than most others because they don’t throttle your speeds or have limits.. only to be surprised with an email about nearing my limit and going to be charged more if I exceed it for the month. What’s the point in paying for faster internet if the data limit doesn’t go up with it? Nickel and dime business practices are shady and underhanded. I will no longer be recommending this service to anyone.

If you have the choice between Cox, and ANY other provider...take the other provider!!!Called to report an outage, and got a recorded message stating Due to higher than average call volume we are unable to process your call at this time. Please hang up and try again later. Seriously?! What kind of company basically tells their customers, yeah were too busy to talk to you.I have never EVER seen a company do something as completely careless and anti-customer than that. Its ridiculous.This company is over-priced, and under-delivers, at every turn. Dont waste your time with them if you can help it.

We have had zero luck getting Cox to respond to billing errors over the phone so we went to this store. The customer service was very good. We were in and out in 20 minutes. The representative said the billing errors should be fixed in 24hrs but we will see. We picked up the new mini box and I installed it in 10 minutes, very easy. The only snag was the HDMI port on the mini box doesnt work. No big as the coaxial cable works great.

Very terrible customer service and actual internet service. I have tired to call the company to ask about our constant poor connection and bad modem but no one comes during their scheduled time to fix our internet. The salesman persuades me to upgrade to better internet service that costs more but our connection is just as horrible. We have called so many times to the regional or district manager that gave us his number but he never shows up to fix the internet or communicates with the company what is going on. He has made promises and never follows through, and says he will compensate us but never tells his supervisors what he promises. We are forced to use this company because of our apartment contract but I would strongly discourage any other customers from using this service and TERRIBLE a customer service.

Im in a different state than my Parent, however Im her point of contact on her bills. She is elderly with a physical disability and othe health issues. Her phone and cable lines were down over 8 days while she was away and was discovered once she arrived home. I was not notified by the company and once she was aware of it and use the neighbors phone, Cox would not move urgently to have the lines connected. I expressed she was & must have phone. She had to wait 2 more days for it to be repaired. At least every 2 months theres a problem with her phone to where it doesnt work. If it rains she can forget it. Well no more.

Horrible customer service. Ive tried to get help for weeks with my internet being too slow to sustain the cameras on my property. Paying 120 a month for 300 mb/s the internet dips too low and keeps cutting out the cameras. I switched to att 18mb/s and havent had a problem. They just called me to settle the bill I asked for compensation for the internet I havent received I was talking to 3 different people for 20 minutes and then I got transferred and hung up on.

Their new voice remote will lock up your box and require a reset. The remotes constantly stop working and the smart box is very slow to react. You end up pressing the button 3x thinking it’s not working and then boom your in another world.

No change to services, no explanation.Help online: zero, no option to remove services just add.Help on phone: minimal, rep asks 100 questions questions why canceling and tries to sell you on BS instead.Help in store: average, they quickly resolve but still get the bad breakup questions.

I didnt think it was possible to be worse than Comcast or TWC/Spectrum, but Cox found a way. Some of their technicians know what theyre doing, but I unfortunately had to go there multiple times until I found someone who did know what theyre doing. They have no communication or way to check inventory from store to store, they have no way to interact with the Cox Business side of the company at all. Its baffling.
