We flooded in May and needed a place to store the remainder of our belongings while our home was being fixed. We came to life storage. Kevin Richardson was prompt and helpful. He took us to a few units to help us figure out which size was best for our needs. He even laughed at all of my husband’s terrible jokes. Five stars, we will use Life Storage on Staring again for any storage needs.

If are the type of person who may need a refund for any reason-DONT PURCHASE WITH THIS BUSINESS. YOU WONT GET YOUR REFUND, ONLY LIES AND THE RUN-AROUND. I never used my unit. The next day after purchase, I requested a refund. I was told I would receive only $14 back for the insurance fee. I wouldnt get the lock fee or the administration fee back. 6 months later and 20 phone calls later, still no refund. This was a hard learned lesson for me to research places before doing business. Luckily, its only a $54 loss instead of more

I have been with this storage for quite some time and have experienced the change from one company to this one, as well as managers and assistant managers. Lisa has been the best Mgr ever. She knows her stuff and gets to know her customers. I have had experiences with several asst Mgr as well, and by far Kevin is awesome, awesome. They make a awesome pair. They really know how to treat their customers and make a lasting impression. I feel like they are my family. If I have had any problems or questions they have been able to take care of it. When they are not there, it’s just not the same. It is my pleasure to take time and let this company know what a great asset they both are to this company.

Today started off rough for me but ended well. Moving from South Padre, Tx back here to my home town was very stressful. With the help of the staff especially Kevin my stress was relieved instantly. Life Storage has always provided me with an amazing experience. Ive used their facilities three times and every single time, the associates have been so helpful with finding me a unit best for me and coordinating everything over the phone before I moved in. Payments are always taken in a timely manner and there have never been any surprise charges. Im moving out hopefully for the last time and my moving out experience has been just as great. Mr. Leroy went out of his way to make sure to help me out when I was moving things out to my car. There is no way I couldve tackled those stacks in the unit and finally moved out without his help. Never had such great service both at the start and at the end of any business dealing. You cant go wrong with this company and if I ever find myself needing storage services again, this is where Ill go! Thank you to every single staff member at Life Storage; you made my move out process so much easier!

I stored some books and furniture in one of the units. While in storage, water leaked in and termites destroyed the furniture and most of the books. I wasnt even offered a refund. Id have been better off throwing it all away.

Mr. Stan and the other employees at the Staring location were very friendly and helpful. Mr. Stan made sure the unit we got was clean and the most convenient one he had to offer. Id 100% recommend anyone to do business with them.

After renting for a little over a year, I moved out of my unit nearly a month early. I was told by the manager, Lisa, a week before I moved out that I would be reimbursed for the remainder of the month—$140. When I went to inform the front desk that all of my items were out and the unit was clean, I explained the situation and that I was told I would be reimbursed. The worker did not know how to issue the reimbursement and I was told I would be called the next day when the manager was in to complete the process. I was not called. I had to reach out to Cube Smart and was then informed that the manager would not be in for another day. Again, I was never called. I reached out again after 4 business days and finally got ahold of the manager. Lisa said she would call someone above her to figure out the situation and get back to me the next day. Needless to say, she didn’t. Extremely disappointed in the lack of proffessionalism and that I was clearly lied to about my reimbursement. Don’t waste your time, rent somewhere that won’t scam you.

I met with the assistant manager at Cubesmart and he showed me our room, which will do fine, although I was disappointed that an outside-access room was not available. This was not their fault as most all of them on the outside are rented. (The poor guy tried but there just were none!). Overall, for price, quality and service I would highly recommend Cubesmart. I just wish there were fans in the hallways.

Service was great! Gumbo, NO! It was not Louisiana Gumbo. Fish are strips instead of large filets. They were tasty but thin. Hush puppies are good. Great customer service by wait staff. I was the only Black there when the owner greeted and asked if everyone is ok and welcoming everyone. He walked passed my table several times and would not make eye contact with me. Then two other guys walked up, white, he cracked jokes and welcomed them. The waiter and a black woman questioned me if I was ok. When the owner would pass my table, he focus away from me and spoke to everyone else in the restaurant over and over again. I didnt exist. Smh when all the servants are black except one white and all the cooking is done by blacks. .....even today!

The employees here are awesome. I recommend this facility to anyone looking for quick, easy, and affordable storage!

The guy at the front desk name Dixon is a really rude guy. I was asking him a question and he blatantly ignore me.. he finally answer my questioning in a very condescending way as if I was ignorant. This was not the first time we had an issue with Dixon . my daughter had a few run in with him as well.. will not be doing business with this establishment again !
