I reside in one of their apartment complexes, The Centre at Silver Spring, and I have been dealing with rowdy, obnoxious neighbors who blast their music, throw things in their apartment, and stomp like theyre attempting to fall through for MONTHS. I have complained about my neighbors about thirty times via email, in-person, on the phone, etc., and still this is an ongoing issue that is affecting my peace, sleep, and right to quiet enjoyment. Not only has the leasing office been minimally responsive, but I have NEVER received a response from Signature Properties, even though they have been copied on EVERY correspondence about this matter, even the ones when I mentioned that I have a two-year-old daughter, and their noise from above scares her. The only time I have gotten a response from Signature Properties was back in December when I asked for a discount in my rent because of a mouse infestation, which could have easily been resolved if they had sent pest control to my apartment the first time I asked. This is a despicable business, and I honestly hate living in one of their complexes. They dont care about their residents AT ALL. They are the worst, and I am disgusted and now forced to end my lease early because they refuse to intervene and respond to my complaints about the upstairs neighbors. They are a TERRIBLE business, and I wish I could give zero stars!!!

Today I am very upset because this is the 6th time I had to rush over to my parents apartment because the fire alarms were going off building 241. When I pulled in the parking lot I noticed Several disable Tenets in wheelchairs, walker’s outside and this was 8:30 in the morning. My parents are elderly and this problem needs to be taken care of. So, today I will be calling “Code Enforcement” to get this problem fixed. The Gates of Owings Mills has gone down so much and my parents have lived here for years.Guess it’s time to move them out. WHY…don’t people answer the phone at the property office or Corporate office. While I’m writing this review I might as well speak my peace of all the problems. The grounds are not Maintained. The Breezeways are Filthy, There are cobwebs in the breezeway everywhere, the buildings need to be pressure washed. The windows on the outside have so much dirt on them you can barely see outside. In my parents lease it states they have access to a exercise room that is not open. I understand there’s a pandemic but we can also think outside of the box and put “Cleaning Stations” so people clean the machines off after they use them. Don’t get me started about the pool being closed as well. If these things are going to be closed to Tenants communicate the Closures to us… Let us know what’s going on instead of keeping us in the dark. Understand if you keep Raising rent and you don’t fix problems what will you have??? (Empty Apartments)

I have been living on Signature property (Chinquapin location) since July, 2018. I have nothing negative to say about Signature. Since living here, the person I interact the most with is Billy the maintenance man. Billy is very polite, skilled and reliable, but most of all professional at all times when is has serviced my apartment. He is creative, problem solving, and efficient, and he always fixed the problem no matter what. Billy had to do preventative and corrective repairs to my apartment and did an awesome job. He was the consummate professional, always on time, always doing a great job, and I would recommend him very highly to complete any task that need attention.

Signature Rock Glen is the best! I have been living here for the past 7 years and this last year alone made me want to stay here longer. Every time I ask for maintenance service, somebody always responds and gets the job done quickly. Lakeiya from the office is so professional and very respectful and makes sure that I am satisfied with their services. She goes over and beyond what is expected of her and represents the company very well.

I find it very irresponsible of a company to purchase a community ( The Gates of Owings Mills) and not have all of the provisions in place. Those of us that have been paying online and using a resident portal now have no way to obtain payment information. Not only that, some of us leave early in the morning and get home late in the evening and no provision has been made to make office staff available on the weekend to now make paper payments and inquiries. We received a letter with new phone numbers and new office hours. Thats it. Not a good way to start a new relationship.

They recently took over the Centre of Silver Spring and since then the cleaning of the property has gone downhill. Its been about three weeks now since they cleaned the steps of my building which were cleaned about twice per week before they took over including moping and vacuming. Each time I make a request they say that will send someone who never shows up. I really dont think that they care.

I would not recommend Signature Properties. They recently took over the property I live in from another company. I have several issues that has not been addressed even after I have submitted several complaints. I requested to speak with a Regional manager and the new onsite manager will not forward me their contact information. I even reached out to their corporate office for assistance and I was directed to send an email to resident relations and I still have not recieved a response. This lack of concern is beyond ridiculous. This is not how you treat your residents or conduct business. I will not be renewing my lease here.

Mr.Billy always on time with everything hes a very good employee and always nice and smiling love his management he dont play about his job and always ready to get the job done. Keep him around ‼️‼️‼️‼️ I call him with any problem I have and hes always there to help thank you Mr.Billy........

I’ve lived on their property for almost 2 years and their Maintenance are horrible the apartments are old but they charge us all this money I’m in a renovated unit where my tub is cracking, door knobs done fell off my cabinets are leaning I can’t...and to make matters worse it’s like we have to live with rats in our apartment can’t wait to get out of my lease.

NOT RECOMMENED! I am a resident of Oak Creek apartments in Baltimore MD.These apartments are rodent infested.It is a major issue, they have done little to adress it and it has been growing month to month. These are not luxury Apartments at all. The reveiws I see on here seen on here are NOT what the people in the community are saying at all.The walls are paper thin whether you are trying to relax in bed or take a shower you can hear everthing your neighors say like they are sitting next to you. DONT BE FOOLED like I was!Everyone I know has mice issues and many people have left with mice issues being on the TOP of the list as to why they left.DONT BE FOOLED like I was!
