I used Sears to perform a duct cleaning at my new home. In the process, they disconnected some flexible duct from one of the blowers. The technician replaced the air filter after the cleaning and missed that the duct was disconnected.I called to have them come repair the damage. A different tech arrived the following Monday but didn’t have the tools to do the repair and said someone else would come back the next day.I got a call from the tech about 6pm the following day asking if they could perform the service then. I declined because it was dinner time. They said they would call the following morning but never did.I phoned the call canter the next day and they said they wouldn’t be able to send someone out until the following week.The service provided was very lackluster. I don’t mind mistakes, but I shouldn’t have to push so hard for them to be corrected. I suspect that if I hadn’t phoned the call center after the tech ghosted me, I would never hear from them to fix the issue they created.

I am writing this review for a senior friend of mine. Please beware that this company rips Seniors off. My friend called this company to clean her air ducts for $114.95 special. She asked them to add her dryer vents for $89.00. Three men entered her home and one of them distracted her by asking personal questions unrelated to the visit. In summary he scammed her out of $2400 for duct cleaning and so called spraying the house for mold. Please. please consumers do not call this company for any service! I would give them a no star if it was available.

Had an appointment scheduled between 12 and 5 and they were supposed to call to confirm 30 minutes before the appointment. No call, no confirmation. I called at 4:35 and asked where they were, she said sorry, not sure why but I wasnt on the route for today even though she sees I had an appointment. The best she offered was sorry, and canceled the appointment. I sat here for 5 hours for nothing, no discount, no let us try to make it right, nothing. Just your appointment is canceled, and hang up.How can this possibly have the name Sears? Awful customer service

This is the most unprofessional and impudent customer care that I have ever called in my entire life. I was peacefully explaining the issue that I was facing at my home about a service that we had used earlier. Just like that , out of sheer impatience , which was evident from her rude tone, the customer service agent hung up the phone for no apparent reason. I would have given a zero rating (if I had a chance) for the misconduct from the agents side. I am actually surprised that you guys are still in business despite having such insolent staff.@Sears - Please train your staff well as to how to behave to the customers. Such a rude staff member you have got. Its a shame that when businesses are competing to win customer attention, here you have a staff member who delivers it neatly to the competitor.

Repairman came out said they couldnt clean my vents because my furnace filer was dirty. LIES. My furnace filer was just changed the day before you came out. They refuse to clean my vents unless I sent an additional $350.00 for filer +$99 their vent cleaning fee + $15 disposal fee. Typical Bait and Switch at its bestDont waste your time with SEARS!! Good Morning, I had my carpet cleaned yesterday in zip code 22039. Or cleaned. It looks like it was just gone over with water, theres food from my toddler still on the surface of the playroom carpet, the stairs look dirtier than before, and theres a crusty patch of something on my living room rug. Not happy! The carpets are all less than 2 years old...I spot cleaned an area this morning with spray and it came right up. How was it not taken care of with a professional cleaning yesterday? It looked fine yesterday but everything was soaked, the mediocre effort wasnt noticed until the surfaces dried. Can someone please contact me? Not worth $300 dollars!!!

The worst experience ever! I would give them ZERO stars if I could. Terrible. They came to clean up air ducts and vents at my house. They rushed through the vent leaving out a few and didn’t use the heavy duty vacuum to pull out the dirt. I asked them about it and the manager said, you don’t need and got moody and gave me an attitude! Wow.Additionally, he try to upsell me and asked for $1000 to clean my AC unit, which I politely said no and he got really upset about that too. I tried multiple times to share my concerns with the company but no answer.Stay away from this group, I am not sure how they are still in.in business.

Today I had an appointment for duct cleaning from 2:00pm-6:00pm. When I noticed it was 6:15pm. I call the Sears office twice before someone answered. I know things happen sometimes, but I should have been called if there was a delay and maybe I could have reschedule for a later date. But there was no communication with me as the customer telling me no one will not be showing up. I think this is bad business and I will probably not use them in the future.

I actually used Sears Carpet Cleaning & Air Duct Cleaning of Lorton VA. This is the better location. I worked with Martin. He was fantastic. Professional, knowledgeable and efficient. I am very happy. But again, request Martin from the Lorton VA location.

I wish that I could give negative stars.I scheduled the $140 air duct cleaning service and when the techs showed up they walked into my house with no boot covers on and left mud on my rug. Before we even talked about the number of vents and their locations they asked where the furnace was located, so I showed them where it was and one of them proceeded to open the panels to inspect it. My furnace is just a few years old and was serviced just a few months ago. After their quick inspection they told me that the fan and coil had to be cleaned and that would cost me $950.00!! They then proceeded to show me a photo of the fan that barely had any dust on it. I asked how long to would take to clean the fan and coil and the tech responded 1-1.5 hours. I could have my lawyer come out to clean it at those rates! I asked how long to clean all the air ducts and the answer I got was 3-4 hours. So, $140.00 and 3-4 hours to clean all the air ducts and $950.00 for 1-1.5 hours to clean the fan and coil that was already clean. Hmmmm, now I see how you make your money. I asked if they could clean the ducts and not clean the furnace since they were here. The tech said that they couldnt clean the air ducts unless they cleaned my already clean furnace because all of the non-existent dust would be blown back up into the air ducts and then I wouldnt be happy with their service (Bit late for that!!). I just looked at both of them shaking my head and asked them to leave immediately. Talk about bait and switch!! Do not waste you time and money on these tempting deals from rip off outfits like this.

Run Quoted me over $1000 and then dropped it down to over $500.I told them I only want my vents cleaned salesman would not do it.They would not just clean the ducts. They wanted to add air purifiers and clean and service my HVAC system which is new and obviously not dirty. Just take your business somewhere else. Let me start off with saying dont fall for their prices and services you select. I called Sears directly and made sure that I would be charged for 10 vents$130. Made an appointment on the phone and they showed up on time and called before getting there. Guy refused to do the service I wanted and I had called for originally and said we have to clean everything. I told him that I could only do 130 for 10 vents just like we agreed on the phone. He refused and he said we can go and whenever you change your mind we will come back for a fee. Gave me an estimate of 1400. I would never pay $1,400 for something that is a complete surprise. I told him no go this is not what I was told. He gave me a discount and charged me 950 for cleaning everything and on top of that they cut my AC unit located inside to put their vacuum in. Air is leaking from the cut, I opened the unit to see if the dust was gone and its still sitting there. Dishonest business practice. back to back lies. my single family house rent cost less than what their estimate was. Never again Sears Never again.

I should have paid close attention to the other surveys. I picked the $199 for 20 ducts because that was the only option. I agreed to pay extra for the additional ducts. They also mentioned the blower motors needed to be clean but they wanted $50 just for one motor. When I disagreed to the price he could not wait to leave as if all they wanted was for the customer to say no to the inflated price. They left the filter out of the HVAC system and the ladder still down for the attic. I would never use Sears and I would not recommend them to anyone.

I was going to use Sears for cleaning my Air Ducts, but after the stunt they pulled I did not use them. I set an appointment with Coupon from flyer for cleaning air ducts $99 dollars, but only after the got here according to them I needed something additional with the heater which is brand new and then wanted me to pay $950 dollars. I do not recommend Sears since they attempted to come up with reasons why something else is needed at an extreme cost.

Advertised a $99.00 deal on vent cleaning. Once he arrived, he immediately told me that my furnace unit (which I had just replaced 3 days prior) need to me cleaned, sanitized and a uv light installed at an additional $600.00. Would not take no for an answer and was reticent about providing the service that was advertised. Bait and switch!

I scheduled my appointment online to have my carpets cleaned today (9/16) and requested a morning appointment because I had class at 6pm. Within an hour I received a call to confirm and was told that the technician would arrive between 8am & 12pm and he would call 30 minutes before arrival. At 12pm today, I hadn’t heard anything so I called Sears and was told that because I didn’t confirm (but I did) they moved me to the end of the route but he would be there by 2pm. I waited until 4pm and called again. I was told that he was finishing his last job and would be there in “38 minutes”. I continued to wait and skipped my 6pm class since I was told he was on his way. At 6:30 I called again and sat on hold for several minutes before I was hung up on. I called back and finally got in touch with someone only to be told that the tech wasn’t coming at all. Nobody bothered to call, text, or email to let me know. I have now waited around for 10 hours, missed my class, and all of my furniture is piled into my kitchen so that it’s off my carpet- all for nothing.When I asked to reschedule for tomorrow, I was told “I can schedule it for tomorrow but I can’t promise that anyone will show up.” Why is that even an acceptable option?! I told the representative to cancel my appointment and Stanley Steemer will now be out tomorrow to take care of the job that Sears was unwilling to complete as promised.Don’t waste your time scheduling with Sears. They don’t value the time of their customers in the least.

Like the other reviews said, I am extremely upset with the bait and switch tactic used by this company. My husband got a quote for $100 to clean our 10 vents, but when the service guys came they told us it would be $1,100 to clean the vents and the furnace! $1,000 more than what we were quoted!! How is this legal?! My husband told them no, we won’t be paying that so they came down to $900....My husband agreed to that price (I wasn’t happy about it) and paid them because he felt obligated to get the service since they came out to our condo. I will never refer this company to anyone and it is now my cautionary tale of why you should NEVER use Sears.On a side note, I will say the service guys were very nice and wore booties over their shoes. When they could tell my husband didn’t like the price they kept pointing to their paper and saying they had to follow their quote guidelines. So, I don’t think it was the service guys fault, it’s the company “guidelines” that are causing the bait and switch on price.

Horrible! I never even got the upholstery service.After the confirming the appointment TWICE. I was given an afternoon window between 12pm and 5pm.I never received a phone call or any notification about my appointment, even though I was told that the tech would call me when he was on the way. I had to call to see what was the status of the service and was told that the technician “tried to call and left a voicemail saying that he came by the location and no one answered”. TOTAL LIE.I never received a phone call, a knock at my door, or a voicemail.This is a terrible company and I am telling two other friends to cancel their appointments with SEARS for their carpet cleaning. I wasn’t happy with this company. If i have a choice i will give them 0 review. I make an appt. . They explain it to me I’m going to pay$189.00 for the air vent & dryer. The technician showed & check so he said let me check your furnace & he went outside. But first he doesn’t look like interested to do his job. He said his hose is not long enough. How can you come to a house cleaning air duct & vent with the short hose. & i talk to my neighbor so he can park his truck so the hose is gonna be enough going to my basement. Like all other reviewers, I would also give 0 stars but, I will give 1 for being on time and for the one worker who was polite. My boyfriend scheduled an air duct cleaning and was quoted at just under $200 for 14 vents. The guys called and showed up on time- great start. They came in and saw the main unit and said there was a lot of drywall dust and the whole unit needed to be cleaned and that it would cost extra. Ok... He went upstairs to write a quote and found out it would be $1900!!! WHAT! I called my boyfriend since he was the one who spoke to them and the man HUNG UP ON HIM when he said he didnt want to pay $1900 for the service. He was beyond rude and began complaining about coming to my house... um, that was your job sir. Horrible service! They said they will be there between 8 am to 10 :00am. No one showed up. When called, they said they will be there by noon! NO one show up again. They showed up at 2:00 pm. I had an appt today with Sears for their $100 duct cleaning special and they are the biggest....scam....ever!!! My fault for not reading these reviews before I scheduled. Rep arrived around 11 am and mentioned an entire furnace cleaning is needed after a brief inspection. Sounds reasonable, since Ive never had one before. Quoted $1200! Discounted price would be $1K. I said I dont have either amount. Then he mentioned some UV light that supposedly detects all this stuff (dust, mold, etc.), but then when I asked how its powered, he said it needs electricity and I said I have no outlet near the furnace, so thats not going to work for me either. That apparatus was $600 before the discount. When I just said lets just do the regular $100 duct cleaning, he said oh...I cannot perform that job, if the furnace needs cleaning also. He said the office should have told me this and of course you know they didnt, since I would’ve canceled when making the appointment! Let me find an independent person/one person show to do this. The price has to be cheaper and less overhead. The worst experience and they need to be reported to the BBB about their deceptive business practices!

Dont trust those 100 bucks offer, it is a joke, they said wouldnt clean without those additional services such as furnace etc and your total will be well above 1000. Why not be just honest upfront.

Was quoted $154 for duct cleaning on the phone and when the technicians came out they estimated $2369 (blower motor $875, coil cleaning $789, air duct deodorizer $675) and that was without adding UV lighting. Said it was due to mold. I had just had my furnace maintainence done by Sear Home Warranty (very reputable company) the week before and had no mention of a mold issue. I told them to leave. I called a company I used in the past and they confirmed I do not have a major mold issue. They took care of the job for $350. I had only tired Sear Duct Cleaning due to special they were advertising. But they just do that to get in your house and do a higher estimate to rip you off.

I am still waiting for a manager to call me. I set up a rescheduled appointment because of a time mix up. They did not show up or call me. When I called them to let them know they never showed, I was not offered a reason and an apology for the missing my appointment. Samantha just offered another appointment with no reason and apology for missing the appointment. They need real managment not former serial crash test dummies, and they need real customer service people not a person who sits down with 1 finger in her mouth and 1 finger in her butt and switches every 5 minutes.

She has severe asthma and her new house was giving her bad allergies, I had called countless times asking to get 9 vents done for 99. They charged my daughter 1200 and refused to give her any other service. There is garbage everywhere and they destroyed her floors pulling out her vents that where glued to the ground. I NEVER write reviews but take your business elsewhere. Im seriously surprised theyre still in business. The customer service is atrocious and speaking to a manager is pointless. Their small call center ensures they cover each others back so making a formal complaint is non-existent. Theyll screen your call and send you to VM. Another red flag, they dont give out last names for their managers! No accountability whatsoever. Im glad they didnt get my money but if you value your time, use a different company.

Called them for Air Duct Cleaning said the price includes sanitizing. When the guys came over, they said its not included. Told him the lady I spoke to said is included, he said I am the manager and I know its not included. Was rude and just left. Waste of time. The reviews on their site are fake. After carpet was completely dry, dark areas was sitting thru out the carpet from the unit that was being used. Therefore, the carpet looked better before more so than after they did the work. Very unsatisfied, willnot use them again, not will I refer them.

I rated Sears 1 but to be honest they deserve 0. Save yourself time and money and do not use Sears carpet cleaning services. I had my carpet cleaned by the Baltimore office or at least that’s what they were suppose to do. After the carpet dried every stain that was there before reappeared. I schedule another appointment to have it redone and no one ever showed up. No call to say they were not coming...nothing. I called numerous times to speak to a manager and each time I’m told someone will call you back. It’s been a week and I haven’t heard from anyone. Every time I called I’m told they will have a manager call me back. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL and INCOMPETENT company I have ever done business with. I’m aware they have closed numerous stores and I understand why...shut down the entire business!!

This company doesn’t deserve a star at all! I received a confirmation call stating someone would be at my home between 8am and noon. Around 11:30 I called to see what time they’d be arriving. No one answered the phone. So I called another location that was in my email. They said they were located in VA , but could see that I was scheduled and would look into what happened. The company in VA let me know that they couldn’t get in touch with anyone at the Baltimore, they apologized and scheduled me for Monday at 4 pm. Still the Baltimore company was a no show!

The company is a joke and a scam. We set up an appointment to have our carpets cleaned today in our empty house. We were given a price by phone for a cleaning. Technicians arrived unprofessional in appearance showing underwear and someone smelled horrible. Apparently price quoted was not accurate. They said to properly clean the charges changed and suggested we throw in a tip to do a great job. Hell NO!They basically filled the machine with water and no cleaning solution because that was extra. While filling the machine from the kitchen faucet they saturated our new kitchen floor and cabinets. Technicians were not fazed by the damage they were causing. I called customer service to let them know my concerns. They are just as useless and unprofessional. I was disconnected a number of times and was told they would look into the situation. Maybe they would look harder when I make a stop payment.Why would I call to have my carpets cleaned if I knew I was going to pay over $300 to only have water thrown on the carpet ? Bottom line stay away from the company.

Used to work for this company. Please do not waste your time or money. They will overcharge you for services you MOST LIKELY DONT NEED. THE GOAL HERE IS COMMISSION. I left because I couldnt LIE to people. I only worked here for a week and was treated like a dog, the way they treat their customers..They take the camera and put it in a corner of your furnace, tell you that your mold level is high and you need to get it cleaned.. We we had an appointment for monday between 8am and 12. Around 11 I got a call to reschedule for the next day. The next day, I called at 11 to confirm they are still coming. They told me a tech should be there by 1PM. The tech didnt show. I called back and the girltold me the tech called me 7 times..thats was a total lie. I work from home and always have my phone on me. She said wow thats crazy, Ill have my manager call you. 45 mins later,still no call. I called back and she said he will call me before he is off, or they can reschedule me.Still no call. Horrible customer service. All of my furniture was moved in preparation for this. Very inconvenient. Do not use this company.

They were great, at my home with there customer service and professionalism. I wanted to gives Sears the benefit of the doubt but save yourself some time and go with someone else for air duct cleaning. I was quoted $243 over phone and when the techs came they provided me with a quote of $1333.Typically estimated quote is usually in the ball park of $100-$200. Not oh it’s going to cost $1100 more. It was a waste of time sending them out here.I called another company and it’s going to cost $300. No additional hidden fees.

This place is the most unprofessional service I have ever received. The carpet cleaning was poorly done. They agreed to a redo, free of charge and the worker never showed. I am still fighting for a refund. I reported them to the better business bureau. Please do not spend your hard earned cash with this company. You will be greatly displeased. I have had my carpet unsuccessfully cleaned in the past by a well known company that shall remain nameless. Today, however, my carpet and upholstery were cleaned by a serviceman by the name of Gage. He was professional, courteous, kind and efficient. It was clear that his goal was to do an excellent job from the moment he arrived at my home. My only complaint would be that the person who scheduled my cleaning incorrectly typed my address and telephone number which resulted in a missed confirmation call the day before. I called the day of service in order to confirm which is when the error was discovered and quickly corrected. This error had nothing to do with the Gage who earned all of the stars. I would highly recommended him to clean for my family, friends and neighbors.

Please do not book Sears Carpet Cleaning Services. Ive had the worst experience. I would give them negative stars, if I could. I booked them last week to clean a white carpet. The technician mentioned that it would be a difficult job, but insisted that he could get the job done. Of course, he hustled more money out of us to do the best job and we ended with an unclean carpet. I called to schedule a redo to remedy the my unclean carpet, but they never showed up. Took off of work just to have this done. 12-5 window appointment. No call to cancel the appointment. I waited and still no call. Now I need to get in contact with them and they refuse to contact me for a refund.

Lol, is this a joke? After a visit the pro told.me I have to pay $820.Thats more than 8 times what they are advertising and 3 times more than what I paid. Dont waste your time please.

We got our carpets cleaned by Gage! He was so professional, from the moment he pulled up to the time he left. He did such a awesome job with our carpets. If you are looking to get your carpets cleaned request Gage, you will not be disappointed. Will be using this service again but requesting for Gage to do it.

I wish I could rate them less than a 1 star. I scheduled an air duct cleaning BEFORE reading the reviews... BIG MISTAKE! I had to work so my husband was home. They did NOT wear booties in our NEW home! They were trying to charge us for services we did NOT schedule. They were walking through the house like they were trying to see what kind of electronics we had instead of focusing on cleaning our air duct system. Please spend your money with another company because we ended up paying MORE than what we did our our ducts and vents are still dirty! We tried calling customer service and kept getting blown off by being transferred from one number to the next.A waste of money and time. RUN from SEARS as fast as you can!!!

Beware consumers...Hired them to clean air ducts and when they left my AC System was broken. I really believe they are hiring non-qualified techs as the company is on the brink of bankruptcy. In process of filing formal complaint with Sears. Will never do business with this company ever again.

Save your money. I had an empty house that needed carpets cleaned. Never got a phone call they were on the way. Even though I requested and was told there would be a call to let me know. Had to reschedule. Tech left my wood floor a mess with water residue. Left my front door unlocked when I asked him to lock. Then I was told I had to buy other products for the carpet. I was hooked by a coupon but feel like I only paid for them to run water over the carpet, was soap extra???? Complained on survey and Callback center, a manager never called. Only gave 1 star because no stars wasn’t an option

I had my air ducts cleaned by many companies, but no one every educated me about the services until now. GREAT JOB SEARS!! Jermaine Powell came out and actually took his time and explained everything to my wife and I. It was a shock that the bill did come out higher than we planed, but overall, Money spend well. The techs also arrived on time and perform the job that was promise. Pictures and video was showed to us before and after. Will refer Sears to my family and friends. Thank You Guys

I have a very bad experience with Sear air duct cleaning. The original price quoted for this services was $156/. At arrival the techician, he increased the price to $950/ and then reduce the price to $539/. After some discussion refused to perform the work. I was not happy with his behavior and attitude. I will not recommend at all.

David and partner were awesome!!!! They were very professional and knowledgeable. They explained everything they were doing. And cleaned up. I am very happy with their work!!!!

I booked for the 3-area carpet cleaning for $99 for my moving out. They canceled at the last minute as their technician could not show up (I have to pay $70 fine to my apartment for this cancellation). On the next day, they postponed my schedule again from morning to afternoon, I kept calling them to make sure that I can return my key before 5 PM, but they just kept saying it would be between 1-5 PM. The worst part of this was when the guy showed up at 3 PM, he denied to clean my room with the price I booked!! He wanted more than $200!!! He said, If you do not let me clean now, no one else can come at this time. You will never be able to return the room on time I denied to pay anything more than $150 because they already canceled my schedule and caused me a $70 fine, He kept saying no one else that I can not schedule any cleaner at this time anymore!! Luckily, my apartment manager and maintenance came to check out my room and saw the argument. So they said, Dont waste your money with him, the carpet was at the time of changing anyway.Do not trust this website ever!!!!

The manager Jermaine Powell was extremely helpful and professional. He answered all of my air duct questions and took his time to explain each service.

*WARNING* - Avoid the Sears Air Duct and Dryer Duct cleaning service in Baltimore. Please do your due diligence. They charged me over $600 for dryer duct, air duct and blow motor cleaning (which they said I needed because they would not be responsible for dust that got blown back into the dwelling) and finished the job in 45 min! Unbelievable that this business has the Sears name on it. They have horrible reviews on YELP as well. Wish I had checked instead of trusting the Sears name.

2 vents were not even taken off and cleaned, the customer service when I called told me cleaning 10 vents in 30 minutes is normal but I have 20 vents, they up sell you the minute you walk in the door. Very un professional, do not use.

Service techs David and Keon were very prodessional and did a great job cleaning my air ducts. I would definitely recommend sears duct cleaning service based on their professionalism. 👍🏽

TERRIBLE SERVICE! I wish I had read the reviews before I scheduled. I scheduled an appointment. I was told a technician would be here between 8 am and 12 noon and I would receive a phone call when they were 15 minutes away. At 12:15, there was no technician and no phone call. I called the service number and was told the technician would be here between 1 and 1:30. At 1:35, still waiting .... I tried to call again and was put on eternal hold, after which my call was dropped. I made numerous attempts at callback but could not get through. I had been calling from a landline and I suspected they recognized my number and just didnt want to take my call. I switched to my cell, but for some reason a recording told me the call could not go through as dialed. I then switched to a cell phone which is not in my name, and finally spoke to a man who transferred my call to dispatch. In the middle of explaining the situation to dispatch, I was disconnected. I gave a rating of ONE star only because if I didnt click on a star, I could not post this review. I wanted to give NO stars.

I will not give a star if possible. Their service is so bad. First, they cant keep the word, let you wait for whole day. Second, they will lie, no explanation, no apologizing for the mistakes they made. Third, the guy of customer service will say I cant hear you if you start to claiming. Go for other small business owners if you want a good service.

I wish we had an option to leave 0 star. But yea, this really sucks and will get on your nerves. Too many rescheduling and you just keep waiting for them to come but they will never come nor they will inform you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

This company is a fraud. Jermaine Powell is the horrible unprofessional manager. This company came out a few weeks ago and did nothing for $333. I was promised a tech would be out today. My tenant took the day off, and they did not show. They call to confirmed the appointment last night and this morning. I just received a call saying they can come now!!!!!!!The phone clerk who answered the phone speaks and handles business like a 5 year old. Im sorry I probably could have gotten more information from the 5 year old. She knows nothing. Really concerning. I was given customer care number, who are off on weekends.Now Im out of $333. Please dont use this company. Dont waist your time. Now I have to fight to get my money back.This is very upsetting.Tamara G.

They quote you $135 on phone for soecial but then say tgey cant only clean the vents but this that and other. By time they were leaving they were quoting $1200.Go with stanley steamers. At most you spebd $450 for it all

It is too bad that we cant leave a review with zero stars, as that is what this branch of the Sears air duct cleaning deserves. I had the extreme displeasure of dealing with them today. I would recommend that you save your time and money by finding a better and more reliable company to deal with. I requested an appointment time online, and I received an email saying that they will call before your BOOKED JOB to confirm our arrival time. It also provided me with the Order Total of $288.95. I called to confirm the appointment and requested the morning time of 8-12 for the job. I also asked how long the job would take, and they estimated 1-1.5 hours. On Friday, we received a call at 9:15 saying that they were 30-40 minutes away. When they arrived at 10:00, it was just one guy. He said that his team was right behind him, just getting gas. He proceeded to look at our system and then said that it would actually cost closer to $1500 to do the work! He then offered us a Sears membership card, which he said was completely free and would also cover the entire cost of the days services. He said it wasnt a credit card and there were no strings attached. I asked about the application form, and it requires your social security number and a credit check. That was deceptive business practice #1. We decline the added on charges and ask to just have the vents cleaned as we previously ordered. He asked for the check and gave us some disclaimer paperwork, at which point we expected for him to get started. He then left the house with our check and not having completed the work! Stunned, we put a stop check payment on the check and then called Sears to get some explanation. The person on the phone, and later the Dispatch Manager Aliyah (unsure of the spelling) stated that he was in fact just the person who was going to do an estimate and that the rest of the guys were on their way. At this point, it was 11:15, nearly 90 minutes after the original guy showed up and said that the rest of his team were right behind him getting gas. Deceptive practice #2. I informed her that there was nothing indicating that there would be two separate visits in any of their email or phone communications. Deceptive practice #3. She then said that the team was in a completely different part of town getting gas. So apparently, it takes them 90 minutes to get gas, or we have been deceived. This was one of the most unprofessional encounters with a major national company that I have ever encountered. Aliyah provided absolutely no customer service, repeated the same unsatisfactory answer over and over again and then basically hung up on me, but not before she admonished us for the way we handled the situation with the technician. I am completely baffled by how they are still in business for this service and will be filing a complaint with the federal and state BBB.

Gage cleaned in my office, hallway and basement carpet this morning and did an awesome job! I would use Sears again in the future.

Do not use this service with sears-I wish I would have read the other reviews before scheduling the duct work cleaning- first they give you a 4 hour window-then call me to reschedule after 2 and 1/2 hours waiting-I told them I really couldnt reschedule-she told me that she would talk to her manager and call me back-2 hours later no call back or show-I am so done-this business is incompetent and needs to go out of business!!!!!!!! Dont waste your time you never get it back!!

If I could give no stars I would the worst experience ever I got my carpets cleaned they said it would take 8 hours to dry it never fully dryed and smelled so bad they sent someone else (which they charged me for ) to see if they could clean it again he walked downstairs and could barely breathe he said they used too much water and they need to replace the carpet that I should call them right away I called them again and they said someone would call me its been 2 weeks and I have not got a call its not about money its about providing good quality service!

Ok deserves negative stars this company first came late by one hour after I have been home waiting since 2pm, they finally showed up then they started to clean one air duct and lost the piece in the air ducts and had to leave, they said didnt know was flex ducts. 2nd time they cancelled and now the 3rd time they called and said the only truck has broken down. I paid ahead of time big mistake, I will be cancelling the payment today. I wanted them to come back to get the piece out but the customer service people are very rude and not polite they act like they just maybe graduated High School if that. They do not know how to speak to customers, arent the customers always first? Not with Sears never recommend this company and please do not fall for the cheap air duct cleaning a scam.

Do not use this company for carpet cleaning. They will rip you off and do a terrible job. We went back and cleaned our carpet by ourselves after they left and we did a much better job. Dont waist your money on this place.

This place is extremely unprofessional and a waste of hard earn money. They claimed they called to confirm an appointment but left no voicemail and had the nerve to reschedule. My girlfriend took the morning off from work to wait for them and when they didnt show they claimed they try to get in contact to confirm. Ultimately, they promised to come this evening, but once again canceled wasting time.

I had an appointment scheduled for Saturday afternoon. They waited until Saturday morning to confirm the appointment which I did. At that time they said a technician would call 30 mins before arrival. I got a call in the afternoon and was unable to answer. I listened to the message and it said because I didnt answer they were cancelling my appointment and I needed to reschedule. I tried to call back (15 mins later) and couldnt get anyone. Why did I need to confirm my appointment twice? I called Monday to let them know and they didnt show any concern at all. I wont be dealing with them. No wonder Sears is going out of business.

I was employee of this company. First and foremost in ththe interview the manager Torrance referred to this company as being of a Sears company, but then finding that Sears has nothing to do with this company. I only worked here for two months and it was the worst experience they wanted to throw me into cleaning furnaces with no HVAC training. Then I had to work two weeks in the hole just to receive a check that was messed up. I then received another check where taxes was taken from it too but to only receive one W2 when should be getting two because taxes was taking twice. My second check was messed up I then took my complaint to Torrance with no regards so I took my issue to the accounting and Human Resources where my complaint was ignored again. There are many former and current employees who have been dealing with business practices from this company thats down right disrespectful.. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD. USING INNER CITY YOUNG MEN TO DO A JOB BIT ALSO TAKING FROM YOU AT THE SAME TIME PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS BUSINESS #BBB

This is the worst company you may allow to come into your home. Beware of their unprofessional staff especially their technician Donte Smith. Originally priced services for $345, once at our home overcharged us for incomplete work and tried to scam us by having us write a personal check. Our card was charged $630 and when trying to get our money back, Sears states this company does work for them. Do not call Sears and/or cleaning pros to do any type of work for you. Waste of time and money! One star review is too many.
