Traveled 2000 miles from home to get a rig, but alas repairs were necessary to get things road worthy. As with every adventure, their are hiccups and delays causing catastrophic interruptions to the master plan. Thankfully the crew at Myers was able to get our rig buttoned up right, while helping ensure we didnt break down east of Barstow or west of the Mississippi.Being a small business is hard work, demanding on the soul and builds some characters in the process. From one character to another, keep up the awesome work!

This repair shop has zero knowledge of DEF system. My truck was there for two days charged me $3972.17 and at the end i decided to move my truck to a different shop as they couldnt figure out what was the actual problem. I will not recommend them if you have any DEF issues.

Jay and his crew did an incredible job taking care of a predicament my truck ended up in on I-5. It isnt every day you break the metal tab holding your shock to the truck and need to find a shop in a pinch. While we could have had it taken care of after hours, we waited until morning and they made the impossible happen. Not only did they fab up the tab but they also reinforced it so it shouldnt happen again. They were efficient and made my driver comfortable while he waited. Thank you guys!! We will definitely use you if we ever need repairs in the Bakersfield area again!

Cant say enough; not just great mechanical work, they also have a QC program to inspect their own work. Not something you see in most shops.Had my RV there for days and the owners, Lisa and Ken, were very hospitable, letting me stay in my rig at night.Very pleased with the repairs and the customer service. Highly recommend.

We were traveling from the state of Washington through California to Arizona pulling a fifth wheel trailer with a 3/4 ton diesel truck. As we were going through Bakersfield our truck started having issues. We pulled into flying J truck stop. Long story short. We saw the ad for Myers Diesel repair. We called and Lisa talked to us and said they would get us in on Sat. The owners Ken and Lisa went above and beyond anything that could be expected of a repair shop. They towed our RV, to their shop, and very kindly told us we could stay on their lot until the truck was ready. They even took us grocery shopping!! The whole staff treated us with kindness. They did a wonderful job on our truck and got us back on the road. Our many thanks to Ken and Lisa for turning our nightmare travel experience into one we will remember with gratitude.

An unfortunate turn of events caused us to desperately seek emergency repairs for our diesel pusher coach. We were stranded in Buttonwillow. Was referred by Genes and they were a God send to us. It was 5:05 pm and we were concerned wouldnt find anything until the morning, and on a Friday before a holiday weekend at that. Thankfully, they are a 24 hour service. We had a coolant hose that burst. Not a major fix, but enough to stop you in your tracks.Yes, you will pay a minimum 2 hour fee, but that was to be expected. Very polite and helpful dispatcher. Kept in good communication until the very end to check in after the mechanic left. Considering the 2 hour minimum, parts and 10 gallons of coolant the price wasnt out of line.We were back on the road 3 hours later. Saved at least a day out of our vacation. If youre ever near Bakersfield and need a 24 hour repair service Remember Myers. Itll cost you, but itll save you. 😊

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We were on our way from Ohio to Sequoia National Park, when the radiator in our motor home sprung a slow leak. We called and were told to bring it on in and theyd get right on it, which they did. It had to be taken out and repaired. We were on our way again the next day. Thanks for the great service.

My truck had shut down on interstate 5. I do not like using the dealerships unless I have to. So I had my truck towed to a local independent, three weeks in $5000 later I picked it up. I went just 6 miles down the road and the same exact problem. Had it towed back to them they told me it was a different problem and wanted to charge me again. I towed it to Myers Diesel Repair and and showed them my invoice. They took me out in their shop which is something I’m not used to. They had a computer hooked to my truck that was unlike anything I had ever seen! This computer could show you everything, they showed me exactly what the problem was. A simple temperature sensor on my DPF they, put a new sensor in that was two weeks ago and I have not had a problem since. They have a huge shop! I was very impressed, they also have a giant warehouse and had the sensor in stock. Very professional, I would highly recommend to anyone breaking down in the area. Thank you Myers diesel.

Knowledgeable technician, fair price and quick response. We had our truck stuck at the dock, no starting. They were called for help, respond quickly and after a while trouble shooting our truck and a couple trips back to their shop and to the parts store, our truck was back on the road without the need of being towed as other shops advised us before.

We took our truck into the shop because it was consuming antifreeze in July 2017. The repair was done (head and camshaft along with a few other things), however when the truck was completed the ground wire to the headlight was broken and an AC bracket was missing when we went to pick it up. Also there was oil dripping from the remanufactured turbo we sent. I contacted Chris and he said he would send someone in and would zip tie or something to replace the missing A/C bracket and fix the ground wire issue. Our driver pulled the dip stick and there was pressure in the oil pan. My driver informed the mechanic who came to repair the broken wire and fix A/C missing bracket. The mechanic diagnosed the problem and said the turbo was faulty. Myers Diesel removed the turbo and we had it rebuilt by the company we purchased it from. Myers Diesel was kind enough to drive our driver to and from the car rental location. When Myers Diesel replaced the turbo and the same issue occurred with pressure in the oil pan. My driver checked the oil and it again had back pressure. He informed Chris of pressure in the oil pan and they removed the crank case filter. The back pressure issue stopped and the oil quit leaking out of the turbo. They orgianlly were going to charge us over $1,100 to swap turbos. I spoke with Chris and he said the mechanic who diagnosed and repaired the broken ground wire the previous night didnt speak English and since he wasnt there Chris could not do much. Chris said if would have know about the pressure in the oil pan he would have addressed the issues sooner.Chris said he would take two hours labor off the bill. Abel the General Manager said he would only do one and a half hours. I attempted to discuss the issue with the bill but Abel said I dont discuss the bills, I just collect the money. We paid the bill so we could get on the road. When my driver was doing his pre-trip there was antifreeze leaking from the radiator. He informed Chris about the leak and Chris said he didnt do it since it was only a couple of bolts. Also my driver informed me the truck will not hold window washer fuild.I attempted to call Lisa at Myers Diesel, however she was out of town until October 30, 2017.

I went there last week to my AC work done in my new t680, when they inspect my truck they told me my suspension air bag is bad , I told them to replace that too, but they installed different size air bag, that mess up my truck whole suspension , when I realized its different size n ask them , they did not cooperate with me alt all, they overcharged me a lot, when i ask them in detail about the bill they started arguing, while they were arguing with at the office theyre mechanics blast my other air bag and broke me ac evaporator, after all they argument and overpaying I came out of there shop even with more broken stuff to my truck , I do not recommend this shop to anyone in any emergencies
