DO NOT APPLY FOR THESE APARTMENTS! Run as far as you can from these apartments. Do not waste your time or money at this dump. Management is terrible but Maria is the worst & will give you incorrect information & lie to you. I will be calling someone higher up to complain.

Bo Not: rent at this apartment. this apartment building was rude unclean untidied bed Bugs, roaches, black widows. no one dose there jobs here in this apartment. school is walking that is the only thing they have going for it. they tow vehicles. Also make you pay for stuff when they fix things. Are rude to people with disabilities.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX! Management is rude and they have no customer service skills. If you need anything, they lie and say they will call back but you have to be constantly calling them because THEY WILL NOT CALL BACK NOR COMMUNICATE with you! They say they have no control for any concerns you may have and put the blame on one another so they won’t have to hear anything. There is never parking because there are people that have more than 3 vehicles and there are also homeless people that go and park to sleep in the parking lot. People are always smoking marijuana outside. From the first hour we moved in until the last day we were there, it was harassment from false complaints or notices from management. We gave our 30 day notice and days later our vehicle was towed “because it didn’t have a parking permit” which it did. Also they made all kinds of deductions out of our deposit, so we didn’t get anything back from the $1000 security deposit. Worst apartments complex to live in Bakersfield!

Dont move here!!!My ac has broken twice it take them more than a week to fix it this time i had to go to hotel cus i have high risk pregnancy and kids its to hot to be in the apartment the management wont help for anything and when you ask to talk to someone higher than them they wont give you no information they dont communicate with you or help youTheres always fights outside my apartment people smoking weed they dont do nothing about it its its really ugly to live here i regret moving in please dont rent here its horrible to live here

DONT RENT HERE!I moved in the outlets were broken and broken glass everywhere.. management will keep messing with you for no reason.. Then when you ask to speak to someone higher they will lag on giving you the number! It’s nothing like they say it is.. as soon as I step out of my apartment I smell weed all day & have kids I don’t want them smelling that and they won’t do nothing about it.. I’ve only been here for 3 months and regret it everyday..

Management failed to leave a three-day notice that their maintenance team was going to be working on the stairs. When I asked maintenance what they were doing maintenance tried holding me hostage saying I needed to wait over 3 hours to leave my apartment. When I called Sunrise Apartments Jenny was unaware of any repairs being done. From my observation, Sunrise Apartment fails to communicate with their staff effectively and immediately.

This is definitely the best management I’ve ever had at an apartment. Maria, the apartment manager, is so sweet and worked night and day to get us the exact apartment we would love. Not only that, they have 24 hour security ON SITE, at all times, which makes my son and I definitely feel super safe. All the staff here is absolutely amazing. The playground is awesome, and there is a ton of greenery area for recreational activities. The apartment is also gated, and the pool is crystal clear all the time. I’m so happy I chose Sunrise for my home.

Jennie Jeon was a huge part of my move in process and helped me along every step of the way. She was super sweet and helpful and now my kids and I have an amazing home to ourselves!

Went by Sunrise Apartment Homes and the Leasing agent was very professional, kind and thoughtful. Their property does not have one bedroom units, but Laura Cervantes was very kind, and provided us with a phone number to a property where they do have studios and one bedroom apartments. Out of all the places we visited to tour, Laura was the only agent that immediately acknowledged us with a warm smile, introduced herself, and went the extra mile to help us find a place. Thats the reason of my five star review. Way to go Laura!!!! Thank you🤩

Management leaves toxic waste at the playground without putting any caution tape around what so ever. This is a biohazard and they need to replace the wood chips immediately.

I am grateful with Jennie for helping us with the whole application process and getting us in before our lease was up at our previous apartment. So far we are happy to call Sunrise apartments our home

My fiancé and I were apartment hunting and came across this apartment complex so we decided to check it out and we were very satisfied with everything! Extremely kind and helpful staff, great environment when walking into the complex, and their security team is on it when it comes to any disturbances and nonresident cars on the lot. Both Maria C and Maria M were very helpful in our application process and answered any questions we had so honestly. Apartments are also very recently renovated, all are in a much better condition than we thought which was my #1 concern. Sunrise is great 👍

Has the worst management ever they don’t like fixing the washers and lock the laundry room when the washers and dryers work. The rent here is to expensive for them not to have everything managed

Maria and the office staff have been amazing Maria got us in pretty quickly and helped us tremendously with the application process. We’ve been here about three months and it’s been amazing having a place to finally call home. Would definitely recommend. Maria is the best!

DO NOT RENT HERE. I lived here two years because it was cheap and bigger than my last place in the Dale. But besides the spiders and the clogged sewers and noisy people, they WILL SCREW YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE. They charged me $1400 when I moved out for things that were broken when I moved in. OK yeah my fault for not taking pictures of the place. I guess I trust too easily. The place is almost fifty years old and they want me to pay to restore it to like-new. FIND ANYWHERE ELSE

The management is horrible they take pictures of who visits and then give you a pay or quit notice!!! Trash is the best word for this place the manager has a power trip and wants to tow your vehicle at 11:00pm!!! Someone needs to contact the BBB

I would like to thank sunrise apartments for theyre amazing staff and always letting us know when somethings going to get worked on.Always notifying us way ahead of time when we need to be ,and always making sure that we as tenants are good. The staff is beyond awesome and my family and kids love living here.

Laura Cervantes Was really incredible very helpful and got me into my apartment in less than a week. She far exceeded my expectations especially with her positive and upbeat attitude kept me calm about the process. Very knowledgeable and even stayed late at times just so that the paperwork could get done. She understood the circumstances I was in and worked with me. Even remembered my name after our first encounter.P.s email is way better because she gets calls like crazy non-stop every time I went it was as if the phones didn’t stop.

Great management, Easy process, worked with us👍 they pay for water and have great amenities, and promotions.

The apartments are nasty floors are old lights are out no one fixes them your porch is all dark and maintenance cant come to replace the light on your porch they threatened to tow your car if you dont have plates or sticker from their Apartments it was better when it was the Willows and not sunrise God knows we all miss the Willows they try to make it look pretty but these apartments are nasty

Just moved in and I love it. The office staff was super friendly and helpful with my application. The maintenance supervisor Alberto M is always friendly and gets stuff done when needed. No complaints.

I Would Like To say that The Apartments Are Looking Very Good The Maintenance Department is Very Good Here The Guy Over TheMaintenance Is Very Good And Get Your Problem Fix And He All Way Have a Smile On His Face His Name Is Alberto Morales.

Completely trash, if I can rate a 0 I would. These apartments are infested with bedbugs, bathrooms always plugged. No sink water in the restrooms.had me in 100 degree weather without air conditioning for weeks, I would not recommended. they never care when we give them a notice they always say “there’s nothing we can do.”

This is such a nice place since the new owners and the new management has taken over. The laundry room is big and clean.The playground is just right for small children, supervised. The maintance crew are always right on top of any problems, and very respectful of your property. This is a new and upcoming adventure for all of us that have been here for sometime. You will like being part of this community.

Customer Service is top notch. I appreciate how they go out of their way to make the best living experience possible!

Do no rent from these apartments. THEY ARE BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL. They towed over 30 resident vehicles at the beginning of the month knowing their residents are low income. I removed myself form my mothers lease right after I turned 18 and 4 months later when my mother moved from the apartments they were threatening to bill myself . I believe they will con you into or out of anything they possibly can. THEY WILL NEVER PROVIDE the number to corporate .I had to hunt down their maintenance and obtain the number from them. Do not let these cons fool you and take your money

Don’t move here, like for real don’t people steal from your balcony break into your cars and supervisor will tell you if your unhappy living here put your 30 day notice. Way to go on fixing the problem girl 👍🏼 Past management from when I moved in they were on it and so understanding too others.

They are very friendly during the application process, but are extremely rude once you are a resident. They continuously break federal and state laws knowing their residents are low income and would rather not hire an attorney. There have been several times I wake up to no running water without notice or against notice because the maintenance workers didnt want to be out all day.

Laura Cervantes was extremely helpful , & very nice . a beautiful positive attitude & friendly . she was very patient and explained everything very well . i had to deal with rude people at different apartments who were extremely horrible but laura makes you feel at home cause with her personality its like you just made an awesome friend . thank you laura .

Amazing staff!This property has made so much improvement since the new owner has taken over. Management is so welcoming and polite.

Been living here a year, Ive been having problems every since.In the summer time my a/c unit went out 3 times before they decided to replace it. My apt was supposedly a newly remodeled one but they just threw fresh paint and new floors...Smh.. Hot water isnt worth a crap. My family of 3 cant even take a shower w/o the hot water going out!! Mold continues to cone back and the leak they keep patching keeps returning.

Our Unit is brand new & remodeled which is a plus. Rent is reasonable but you get what you pay for. Office staff is nice, but I feel more can be done to make this complex more comfortable for renters that want to enjoy where they live.

DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!!! Many of the units are infested woth bed bugs and almost all afe infested with cockroaches. My family just spend 2k moving and had to throw away $2000 couches cuz of bed bugs. Managment refuses to properly exterminate the buildings.

Been here less than a month and people here have no respect its 12:30 in the morning bumping music while my kids are trying to sleep; management said no loud music after ten but dont in force that rule. Cant even have my front door open cause people like to hang out in front of it and on the stairs and dont move when trying to come up the stairs. Its just 👎.

They have changed alot the management here on fixing alot of stuff, Loving the new managers here they r sweet but they need too work on the kids outside their parents dont watch them and they destroy everything after the workers remodeled and fix everything they trash stuff.....

Myra the landlord complains about any little thing and quick to give out three day notices for stupid reasons .. these apartments are infested with roaches and they don’t do monthly exterminator for the roaches . And they haven’t given me any new filters for my cooler vent .I wouldn’t recommend living in these strick and infested apartments !

Not a good environment for children to many junkies walking around and a lot of smokers , don’t let the pictures fool you. Cameras always down so if you need help don’t count on management to help. My experience living here was horrible.

The Unit is nice, but the grounds are constantly dirty, and the trash cans are always full and a mess as well as the laundry room which cost almost five dollars for one load, the side I live on is pretty quiet, but sometimes I see transient people pushing baskets through and the security gates have only worked one week since Ive lived here, overall not the worst place but far from the best!!!

Lived here for over a year now and seems that everything that I call in doesnt matter to them the side I live on is hectic, nasty, people are soo nosy, grounds are never clean and/or safe for your kids to play outside. Yes this place is a roof over a head but I would recommend this place a NO for long term placement especially with a family. Cars are always being tampered with as of being scratched up, banged in, flat tires unacceptably. Neighbors are rude and dont clean up after themselves invade your own little side of your apartment privacy. Manager makes things happen but seems like only on theyre timing and convenience things need to be done around there needs improvement and PROFFESIONALISM. Funny how theres not even a corporate # to call for these apartments and when asked they provided me with the wrong #.

Not safe on the weekends horrible place to live at!

It is an unsafe place to live because I put aside that they have security and cameras are useless, they got in to steal my car and they did not want to do anything with the videos from the cameras and then they went to rob the apartment and they also did nothing and then later a Of those who work in the office called the crane to take the cars and they took mine even with the sticker that the car must have, the truth is I do not recommend here to live

Heavy apartments want to charge you for things that you dont even do to my husband, his car was stolen and they didnt want to help us with the security videos and the second time they took it with the crane they just want to steal it
