This is the best senior living facility I think in Bakersfield, my mom is so happy here , she gets the best of care ,I dont have to worry about her, the staff are so friendly and caring this is truly a great place for seniors, Thank you to all the staff and workers who work so hard to make this a great place for seniors. Home away from home, having not only working here but having 2 family members who have lived here I feel comfortable saying hands down the care is the best. The staff provide a caring touch not just providing care needs. Pacifica has is one large family.

HelloIts almost my third week being employed at Pacifica Senior Living and Ive never encountered such kind, caring, and devoted staff members. From the ladies at the front desk to those keeping up with the place, I immediately felt compassion amongst myself and the residence. Its very clean! I work in the memory care department and my supervisor, Irma is so sweet and supportive. I enjoy working alongside Irma and the other PCA’s, (Personal Care Assistants) because they ensure the residence’ special needs are met. This is my first time working as a PCA and Ive caught on so quickly because of the detailed-oriented training the company has.Blessings!

Ive been working for Pacifica senior living since 2002. I guess that tell you how much I enjoy working with are memory care residents . They bring you so much joy ,its something different every day . We moved my mother from her previous memory care facility in San Diego to the memory care facility at Pacifica Senior Living in Bakersfield about 6 months ago. The team at Pacifica made the transition easy and could not have been more helpful. Pacifica has unbelievable staff on all levels, from the reception desk in the assisted care building to all of the staff in the memory care unit. When I call, I am immediately transferred to an individual or am able to leave a message with a swift call back. As for her care, we are grateful and happy with how my mother is being taken care of. The staff take extreme care with not only my mother but with all the residents. They know each resident’s likes and dislikes and take care to cater to their individual personalities. My mother is thriving there and is extremely happy. I have never in our 5 years of having my mother in memory care ever seen her look better. She is clean and they take extreme care with keeping her skin in excellent shape, which is extremely important. The layout of the facility is homey with the dining area separate from the living room and activity areas. The facility and the rooms themselves are clean and taken care of. I am very happy with Pacifica Senior Living in Bakersfield. My father was a resident there for the last two years of his life (passing at 96) and the entire staff went out of their way to make his time there comfortable and meaningful. From Irma the nurse to Kelly and the rest of the team they took the time to keep him and all the residents safe and engaged. It’s not an easy business to run or do well but Pacifica was up to the task. I recommend them wholeheartedly. Thank you again.

The decision to move a loved one into memory care is very hard. Finding the right place takes time, but when you find the right place you know it. We found the right fit at Pacifica Senior Living. The staff are amazing! They truly care about the residents and their needs. We could not be happier with the positive changes in our grandma, she is happy and enjoying the many activities and the great food. Awesome place to work

I cant begin to express my appreciation for this organization. As a community partner, they have been supportive of many community events, and causes that impact seniors in Kern County. They have amazing staff, but more importantly care about what they do. Kudos to Pacifica for all they do, and for their commitment to seniors in our community.

My father entered Pacifica Bakersfield in early January 2015. He spent approximately four and a half months there before he past. It wasnt the easiest task to encourage him that this was the best opportunity for him at his stage in life at the time. But from the beginning at our first meeting with Ailey and other staff we were convinced this was the right thing to do. Everything that Ailey and Pacifica had promised was delivered. From the time my father entered until his death the staff made him feel that he was their family. I have non stopped recommending Pacifica Bakersfield, you are by far the best!

Under Paid, under appreciated, over worked employees, The director of this facility is a complete joke and a sorry excuse of a Leader and Is very disrespectful towards her own staff. There seems to be plenty of accidents and abuse and goes on in this facility that the families of these residents are well unaware of. Many of which go unreported . This place needs to be shut down or at least a change in leadership. RESPONSE: Never did I work here.

Pacifica Senior Living is a wonderful community facility for your loved ones needing more care than you can provide at home. They have concerned, caring staff, lots of fun activities like participating in the Senior Games and other community functions. The staff is very involved in the entire senior community. They participate in health fairs, The Alzheimers Disease Association of Kern County, the Kern County Aging and Adult Services Elder Abuse Conference, and The Commission on Aging Senior Celebration. I would encourage anyone looking for a placement to visit this clean, efficient facility. And dont forget to treat yourself to the delicious chocolate chip cookies!

The staff went above and beyond their duties. The facility is well kept and well manicured. All staff from administration, food staff, care assistants, and house keeping were top notch. 5 star facility all around.

After visiting several Senior care homes in the area my family felt immediately comfortably with the environment at Pacifica. I know my mother is getting the very best care. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Pacifica is a very homey environment with lots of activities and fun events.

The people there are great and really care about their patients. They take the time to make them feel comfortable and you can tell

The staff stills from the residence. PCAs also neglect and call the residence liars. The residents have some type of mental disease and Alzheimers or dementia. They Mark make fun of residents without the residents knowing it. They have a bad cockroach problem which led to a lot of cockroaches in food that is being served to the residence. I would spend my 4000 to 5000 a month somewhere else.

This is the worst place to work for. I needed sometime off because my dad passing away they would only allow me 3 days and I needed more time then that, because it was on the east coast. When I got back I didnt have a job.
