Do you want the worst experience of your life? Go to RNR Tires Express on Research. I would have been better off having the shop class at any high school doing my tire and rim upgrade.I dont even know where to begin...is it the long wait for my tires to arrive? Is it the TOTAL lack of communication? Is it the fact I had to keep calling for updates? (see total lack of communication.) Perhaps it was the fact I was charged for tire disposal when I was buying a full set of rims and tires and keeping my old set...no, wait, it may have been when I had to ask for the aforementioned set of tires and rims that they were certainly not going to tell me they still had. OH, I know...it was the Tire Pressure Sensor light that came on not even a block away from the store. No, no...it was the front end of my car shaking so badly and pulling to the left, that I dont feel comfortable driving it, so Im not. Yes, yes...thats it. I cant even safely drive the car. Whew. I nearly forgot what it was that inspired me to write this review. I am so glad that after this nightmare, I get to pay them $200 more for all of their troubles. My advice to you is to seek out the other options and there are more options, then this place. It may end up saving your life.

I was absolutely satisfied with the service as far a technicalities and quality of work, also they were very on point, professional and otherwise. I mean you can’t beat getting four brand new tires for 20 dollars so overall is a great experience. I recommend it ! Just keep in mind that volume always affects waiting time so again is worth the wait in my opinion.

I went in to get new tires and didnt have a lot of money right now, but I really needed the tires. Fernando the assistant sales manager helped me find the right tires for my truck and ones that werent going to cost me an arm and a leg. I was very happy with the service and help I got from everyone. Would recommend this place to anyone that needs tires and might not have all the money right now and can just make the payments for new tires.

I used to pride myself in recommended rnr to any customer who would walk thru my door and ask about a good place to get tires or rims with a payment plan. When I was in a pretty serious situation my husband and I got a new set thru the austin location, and did very well on the payments until covid 19 hit. And as well all know, covid hit alot of lower income familys pretty hard, mine included.Knowing that all of America is going thru such a difficult time, the rnr we were contracted with had absolutely no care in the world that one of us had just lost our job and we were trying our very best to make the payments. But golly when one payment was missed, they called several times a day every day until you got back in touch with them. They even go as far as texting you, more than a few times a day. None stop harrasment.Well three weeks ago my husband and I were involved in a very bad accident, lucky for my survival and my husbands, our child didnt make it. And after calling and explaining the situation and telling the manager that three of the tires are still aired up and still working, the manager said well unfortunately your just gonna have to keep on paying on them. I asked for an invoice so I could send that to the at fault insurance and his answer to me was, oh I guarantee they wont pay off your tire bill. Your just stuck with it. I went around and around with these people. And Im now waiting on my checks to be cut, and they are still blowing up my phone instead of giving us a few days of peace. Its crazy how I used to think this company was all about taking care of the customer. Its all about the customer, but these people for sure had proved me WRONG. I will never go thru this company again. I will never recommend this company again. All they care about is money money money. Not about how the customer is, or have one thought of how that customer who has spent over 1500 dollars in the last 9 months with them, on how the family is or giving them some SPACE! they can threaten all they want about reposessing these tires, well they can go ahead and waste gas going all the way to my house just to see that the truck is no longer there, and then they can fight with the salvage yard about getting those tires off cause I am done. Im not paying one more damn penny to yall! Any one who wants to try this location in general, good luck!

They don’t even deserve 1star. Not only did they order the WRONG rim 2x but 3x and one of the times I went to exchange my first set they left my old ones in my car... I went back and let them know they gave me FREE rims. Same problems ALL the time!!

The guys there were very informative and efficient. I’ve been going to them for past couple years and they’ve not let me down. Once I showed up with a screw in my tire, 5 minutes before they closed and without hesitation or making excuses to do it another time they took care of it.

Workers are very rude they dont work with people at all they dont care about peoples problems they just want their money.

I would honestly give 0 stars if it let me. My brother and I spent 6 thousand dollars here and all we got was headaches, lies and a complete waste of time. Ordered rims for a Mercedes and a mitsubishi, was promised dates product would arrive and it never did, given new dates product would arrive and never did, when product arrived one of the sets was missing a rim still and the poweder coating we paid 800$ for wasnt even done. Asked for refund and that was an issue. They said if we came next day they would give a cash refund and they lied again. Forced me to change my flight home as well because was they issued refund 6.5 hours later than was promised. Absolute waste of time and dont recommend in the slightest.

From sales, to accounting, to the techs, these guys are fair, communication was thorough and greatly appreciated. I left with four new tires that I definitely needed and couldn’t have done it without Nick’s help. Thank you guys!

The store and garage are co-located. We were able to go to lunch while they stayed in touch with us about repairs, tire/wheel installation and completion time. Make sure you get a written qoute from them before you make the effort to go out there. Because they will qoute you on a good tyre and when you get there suddenly the pricing are different and then they try to sell you a cheaper tyre still at a higher price. Been here for over an hour and still no tyres. So make sure you put half a day aside to do your tyres. And still no tyres. Will rather go somewhere else..

The tires arent worth it Ive had had to replace multiple tires now and pay because they arent durable Ive had used tires ive paid 30 dollars for last me longer than these tires seem to last me the people that work there are very nice but the product itself is not up to what is worth

I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. It started with me calling about two weeks ago to inquire about rims for my Toyota Tundra after having a bad experience with Rent A Tire. I figured this place would be better. They sent me one option that I picked out online. Took them almost five days to call me after leaving a voicemail. Then they sent me a pricing option via text that the pricing wasnt good for the rims and I wouldve had to wait a whole another week just for a install. For that price I shouldve been priority. Thats not the worst so because communication was bad via text I decided to go into the shop to see what else they have I waited there for an hour with no options given to me although I explain what I wanted. Then the guy says I am going to send you some options for you to look at via text. Never heard anything and now three days later I am just frustrated with their business. I had $1000 cash to put down and still not made priority. They lost my business. Dont Go here. Waste of Time. Worst part I drove from Georgetown!!!!!

Came in today for tires after trying to recover my credit. This place is great and gave me a great deal on all terrains for my pickup. John and nick were great and personable to help me in my situation. Give these guys a try. The 120 day same as cash program is the best thing ever. Way better experience then the big box brand companies.

Excellent & professional Services

I have never had a problem with rnr until today. I was embarrassed and they went about the situation all wrong. I was tested positive for covid, had to stay home for mild symptoms, then cleared by a doctor, which means I can work and do whatever my heart desires. The tech was told that I was sick with covid because we were having a conversation. WAS, not NOW, also not contagious BECAUSE I was cleared by a doctor. If I wasnt cleared, I wouldnt have gone out in to public to jeopardize anyone else. Anyways, the tech happily told the other staff who knows what and that led to a lack in communication, which should not have happened in a case like this. Let me be clear, I have already gone to rnr twice about my tire light, both times they have yet to pull it to the back to get a closer look. I also needed an alignment. They just air up the tires the first time and this time they let air out. Tire light is still on, also didnt take my car back to see if I needed an alignment. After the tech let the air out, he gave me my keys back. While I was there, no one came to talk to me about the Covid stuff. The tech stuff handed me my keys to leave. I called back the first time and told them my tire light was still on and if I needed to take it to Volkswagen, the guys said yes. I called back a second time because something didnt feel right and Chris answered the phone. Turns out the tech said whatever about my Covid situation to the staff and I had no idea about it. Chris claimed someone should have talked to me and no one came out to talk to me. He proceeded to say because of the covid they cant get in my car. Again, no one had come to talk to me about my situation, so how were they supposed to know about my situation if they didnt come and talk to me. Again, I WAS CLEARED BY A DOCTOR. They LET air OUT of my tires and gave me my keys to leave with out speaking a word about my situation to me. I HAD covid and got cleared by a doctor, Ive brought my car twice to these people once before I got sick and it was never brought to the back to be looked at PROPERLY and after I was sick and they refused to bring it to the back. If they would have just talked to me instead of embarrassing me about this covid stuff and talked to me, which Chris said someone should have and that someone failed to do so, this review would not be here. My medical life if I am CLEARED is none of this businesses business because one I am cleared by a doctor, two they are not medical staff and have no business treating me the way they did. They were unprofessional on how they handled the situation, because I was never informed about anything UNTIL I left the store and called back TWICE. If I could give it no stars I would and I have been a paying customer for almost a year to this business. I am extremely embarrassed and hate the thought of even going back up there.

Pleased with my wheels. There was an issue with the installation when I first got them but they were professional and admitted their mistake and provided me with solutions, no excuses on their part. Not looking for wheels anytime soon, but for my next vehicle, I’m definitely giving these guys a call.

I came to get 1 tire plugged and another replaced, mount and balance. Instead of plugging the one tire, they said my side wall was leaking air and replaced it with my new tire (i did not tell them to do this) i just took the tire that needed a plug due to a nail to another shop, it is NOT leaking on the side wall! They lied to me just to not swap the tire i specifically told them to swap. They swapped the wrong dang tire. I will be calling to get this corrected. It clearly shows on my paperwork what is what. Im not happy. They are far away from me. Not happy at all

Yes it’s a good price and when in need making payments works out but I paid out early and I was in the 0 interest program. They were so dishonest and tried so hard to make an excuse to charge me $160 extra when I was promised a certain price. I never missed a payment and was a good customer at my end. And to be honest these tires don’t seem to be good quality because I had to put air in my tires five times within a four month period! I was just so upset of the treatment I received towards the end and they totally ignored the fact that I was promised a certain priced and paid out early. Would not recommend this place to anyone at all!!!!

This is the best tire shop is Austin. They let you do payment plans and work around your payday schedule. They also came to my place of work and picked my car up and delivered it the same day. As long as I live in Austin. I wont choose another tire shop.
